The pump on the price of a coin usually happens on the day before the news itself. Those who have insider information starts buying up during this time and once it hits the public's attention, those who bought at a low price will sell and distribute their holdings with the public who are buying on the day of the news. After a few hours, dump will follow, but it is not usually the case.

As much as I would like to believe that the market has turned its table to an uptrend, I would still not be too confident about it so that if the opposite happens, I won't be disappointed with the outcome. Although, it is a very good time to buy those coins which I cannot afford previously in 2017 and early 2018.

I think ETH to reach the price of $100 per coin is highly unlikely to happen. But, I am somehow waiting for it to happen for me to accumulate more of ETH and to wait patiently for it to gain profit for long term. The support at its current price is vital in the current market situation. The next few weeks and months will be interesting to witness.

I hope bull market will come despite all the negativities surrounding the crypto world. Anyway, I have made some investments on master nodes, and coins with rewards thru POS. I already preserved my capital and still purchasing some of the most popular coins such as BTC, ETH, WAVES, LTC, XRP, and DOGE. My method is cost averaging strategy and I buy more than my average when the price dips.

In my opinion, many people think that crypto is dead because they are not aware of what's going on in cryptosphere. The development and progress of many projects which can be utilized in real world are on full swing. Devs and their teams are working hard to make the future happen. Those who understand how crypto works will not only look at the current price, but its future value.

You can't blame anyone and tell them that they're wrong regarding token distribution as part of the marketing strategy of any project involving crypto. Everyone has their own strategy in making profit within this community. Those projects that offer tokens in exchange for work is an effective way to publicize the project.

I somewhat agree with being optimistic despite all the challenges we are facing currently. From my experience last year, I had the same situation wherein most of my holdings are raining blood. What I did is whenever I had extra funds that I can afford to lose, I bought BTC and ETH, waited patiently for my funds to prosper, took profit some time in December 2017 and January 2018 for capital preservation. I think the same thing will happen again this year.

In my opinion, whatever happens in crypto market in the coming year 2019, we should always have an available decision to be triggered in any situation. We should not just blindly hope and wait for our holdings to gain profit by doing nothing.

Bitcoin is back from the dead, then after a few days, it will be dead again. This is clearly how the volatility in the market works, the unpredictability is what attracts most professional traders in cryptocurrency. I believe it's not yet time to be confident in our crypto investment and we still need to take precautionary measures before rejoicing. I think by September - December 2018, we may reach a new height and our patience might pay-off.

I suggest to newbies in crypto to do their own research about the coins that they are seeing here. I have seen some coins and projects that are scam and rip people off with their funds. If the project promises to have a guaranteed high return, most probably they are scam. In my own experience, the best cryptocurrency investments that I made are those with rewards thru POS and Masternodes, examples are: DIGIWAGE, BUZZCOIN, MAG, PRiV, MONK, WAVES, and BTCP.

Most likely, there wouldn't be any bull run the same as 2017. Soon, I think the market will recover to at least $10k, maybe some time in September to December 2018. The market is so sluggish right now due to indecisions regarding ETF. Some investors are hesitant to invest due to the massive bloodbath we experienced. Just make sure you have decision ready whatever happens in crypto market.

I just recently participated in an airdrop campaign from PRiVCY, my earnings so far is around $50. I will continue to participate as long as the team, dev, support, and community are active. The previous airdrops from the various coins that I hold have a little to no value currently, but I would still keep it because I don't need funds from it yet. Who knows, there might be hidden gems from these coins.

The safety of your funds rely heavily on how you protect it. Invest in security of your funds to keep them safe. Both mining and trading can be profitable. In order to liquidate what you mined, you have to trade it, so you have to learn how to trade on a respectable exchange as well. Mining is low maintenance, wherein you only have to setup your rig and wait patiently, but you also need higher capital to realize your gain.

During high times when most of the coins are reaching the peak price, we all have been waiting for this moment to arrive. I think this is a golden opportunity to buy low, wait for the seed you have planted to be fully grown, then sell high and harvest the profits you have gained by being patient. I don't think anyone will become millionaire in 2018 by buying small amounts of ripple. Maybe those who have bought with huge capital, there is a small chance though. This year, crypto is in tough times and it could be difficult to recover until Q4 2018. But, I may be wrong.

During dips, BTC is where my fund goes mostly. I am doing cost averaging method to average down my investment in crypto. I also include ETH, ETC, XRP, WAGE, WAVES, BUZZ, PRiV, MAG to my portfolio. I believe that coins with master node are profitable due to the rewards being generated.

For long term, I am thinking positively that it might even surpass even the price of ETH. They have good projects ahead involving Internet Of Things as well. But, you should always keep your mind open when it comes to crypto, as the volatility will always be present in any coins as long as there's no regularization.
