101  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: April 13, 2018, 08:14:05 AM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.

Based on my own observation since it was start to falling down there is a possibility the value back into zero because why it is a rapidly going down start from 18,000 USD to 6,000 USD with in almost 4 moth only, did you get what I mean? BITCOIN is starting from a little value then it was raised in 18,000 USD in almost 9 years as well. but the time has changed first it takes a longer time to become high value but it will cut in a half value with in 4 moths only so can you just analyzed the situation guys.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: April 11, 2018, 03:00:49 PM
My bank closed my account last year for no reason, and all money in my account was gone. I argued with the bank, even contacted the local government, no use. My bank just stated that "Pursuant to the CMA Disclosure and Agreement, 'THE BANK, at its discretion, may elect not to accept an account, terminate the account agreement and the account agreements of any related parties'. Both parties to the agreements have the right to end the relationship at any time and neither is obliged to provide a basis for such a decision to terminate". No single word explaing the termination was given to me. I contacted all banking lawyers online, and they were all representing the bank, not the customers. The money I lost can buy a new Mercedes. However, banks around the world now are too powerful. They are too big to fail. When you open an account in the United States, and probably also many other countries, you voluntarily give up the rights to sue the bank under their arbitrage clause. Even worse, they define the financial laws and enforce them. They can close your account, freeze and steal your property and evict you from your house. The more money you deposit into your bank account, the more you are helping the evil. I'm glad to see Bitcoin is changing all of these. Let banks die!

Usually Bank closure without prior notice or closure without any documentary detailed supposedly given to client for clarification or notice for disclosure but it's not, that's why many people are discourage in the bank because of that circumstance, I really like the bank before but the true bank now is a big bank company do not try to sacrifice your money into a small industry of bank.

But try to stored your money into your Wallet Provider in your country like here in the Philippines which is coins.ph, only you and coins.ph have transact  if you want to make your money safe without any big amount deduction. and not only that you should get profit if you want to invest in BTC.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: April 11, 2018, 02:29:49 PM
Up to now, this year is very bad for crypto investors. Everybody hopes a uptrend soon. But no one can say when it happen exactly. Some people say in april, it will start and go to peak in june and decline in august again. Some says gradual increase will happen from april to year end. Some people already converted all coins to usdt and hope further decline may be to 5k -6k. Very difficult to guess. But bitcoin will not dead. We can say it without any doubt.

What do you think about this? Will we see the downtrend continuously?

That's the big problem why many people  suddenly changed their decision because they suddenly  followed  by other people discourage during it was a negative comment and negative result coming from the users of bitcoin and news in different television many rumors that bitcoin will gonna die, that's fake news guys Bitcoin will recover soon.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: April 11, 2018, 02:01:14 PM
Bitcoin has been proclaimed dead 89 times. It has been labeled a Ponzi scheme and a failed experiment. Writers have argued for it to be forgotten and for developers to move on to greener pastures. But moving beyond this rhetoric, it’s not all that difficult to compare the rise of bitcoin to that of another technology: the World Wide Web. http://blockgeeks.com/questions/what-is-your-future-predictions-of-bitcoin/#comment-604

Bitcoin is still standing despite of all circumstances just like the history you stated here, some other country proclaimed totally ban of bitcoin but where is bitcoin now, it is continuously dominated almost all over the world and I know that Bitcoin is the primary use someday that's replaced of paper money but it is tangible no real object like money.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Why anyone who invests 5,000$ now in bitcoin will be millionaire by 2025 on: April 11, 2018, 01:17:54 PM
Good afternoon, this post will express some of my personal views and of other people more qualified, and I will add some news that backup my view  Grin Grin

As of this moment, according to coinmarketcap.com, bitcoin is valued at 6900$ (around 66% devaluation from the 20,000$ peak) and Ethereum 380$. Worst estimates place it around 6,000$ in the next days/weeks. The markets in Japan are watching closely the BTC price and buying up at the lows as Bitcoin is quite useful in the country.

As Abra CEO Bill Barhydt stated “I talk to hedge funds, high net worth individuals, even commodity speculators. They look at the volatility in the crypto markets and they see it as a huge opportunity. Once that happens, all hell will break loose.” He said that these spikes were fueled by asian markets and we are yet to see western money enter this market (which may happen any moment). Many CEO's from western companies have announced only positive news for blockchain: Twitter CEO said Bitcoin can be the future currency, R3 Consortium has only released good news regarding their tests, Ripple had a crazy year so far as far as partnerships announced, Intel filed a patent for a device that improves cost/eficient of bitcoin mining by 35% (int for a future mining device in the coming months to rival the existing ones?), NVIDIA CEO too said that "(...) blockchain is here to stay."

With Bitcoin leading the pack (even though Ethereum is running to overtake it maybe this year), the cryptomarket is expected, not only to rise, but to reach new records and beat new milestones in value. And with all the news mentioned above, this scenario becomes a little more realistic in the long term (that's why you hodl right?).

The next thing we need to look out aswell is the altcoin market. The next Google may already have had their ICO and we don't have our buy in (I'm going to provide a list of projects that I believe will succeed) because, unfortunately, western companies have banned ICO advertisement (Google, Facebook and Twitter). But if there's a will, there's a way. I suggest using https://desearch.com or even https://duckduckgo.com - alternative search engines to Google - to help with the research (beware of scams, please).

Why is it important to move your money between the different tokens?

Some people have noticed that money usually flows from bitcoin and the main currencies to the altcoin market, after great bitcoin valorizations. This is where the opportunity for us, investors, presents itself to be capitalized on. A good hodler that buys in the cryptomarket now and takes advantage of these fluctuations should easily become very wealthy in the course of 7 years, admitting that the cryptomarket won't crash for some crazy reason (which should be very hard at this point).

Best kind of projects?

Edward Snowden, when inquired about cryptos, answered that "(...) the most interesting are the security tokens like Zcash." Personally, there are 2 kinds of way to look at a project: it's either good, because it is the first of it's kind and therefore the price could go up accordingly with that factor and some money can be made in such window, or it's either great, and has long term prospects as it will provide some service that will be powered by blockchain, and has a great team (which is usually listed on the project website) that will guide the project the way possible. Even though agreeing with Snowden as to the best projects are about security, not to mention that blockchain was created out of the cypherpunk movement, I can't overlook the fact that blockchain can revolutionize nearly all sectors of the service industry, and, therefore, influencing both primary and secondary sectors aswell, bringing reduced costs to our lives.

My List

NagaCoin ~ 0.49$
RequestNetwork ~ 0.16$
Polymath ~0.30$
Ardor ~ 0.22$
COSS Coin ~ 0.18$
Bancor ~ 2.17$
SingularityNet ~ 0.11$
SWFTC ~ 0.008$
Blackmoon ~ 0.55$
Sirin Labs ~ 0.23$
Hicky (ICO completed recently, still not listed)

NOTE I:I highlighted my favourite ones for either long term reasons or because pays dividends
NOTE II:I did not provide the necessary links for the content I reported here but for anyone interested, a quick search will answer all questions

Good luck out there  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It is possible because since it was start the price of bitcoin is just a little value like a piece of bread last 2009 look at the price value last December 2017 it was 18000 USD that's owe some, that was almost 9 years in the history right? so even the price now updated 6000 USD from the price high no other reason why bitcoin doesn't  grow up until 2025 I know that Bitcoin is a good price value after 7 years. so I convince to many investor to invest in long term investment now.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will we stay positive on Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 12:41:35 PM
Undersiege by negative articles for the past couple of months. Banned in different countries. Hated by some billionairs. Yet, i am one of the millions who still stay positive on bitcoin.. Western countries have been very positive on btc also. Try to spend time reading this https://www.ccn.com/retailer-adoption-of-bitcoin-is-growing-in-the-us-and-canada-despite-price-fall/. This might help you also boost confidence on btc behind the downfall of its price nowadays.

Let me know your insights on this..

Despite of many negative result from investment scam using bitcoin through unreliable owner of Digital currency but still I believed in bitcoin even the price is very low. In fact there is a big news here in the Philippines today in a big network allegedly a certain NEW G. company was Fraud many investor here in the Philippines was the victim of scam. but that's only a little percentage for bringing down the people to stop using Bitcoin, remember no other company and other source of income giving us the big opportunity to be a rich person only BITCOIN can do this. right?
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: April 10, 2018, 07:46:04 AM
Title.

So. Electric cars are gaining in popularity, therefore the popularity of gasoline will be going down. Won't the price go down, leaving the oil industry in trouble?

No because Electric Car is only limited it is only for short run it will not sustained  for a long transportation so there's nothing to worry about the Oil Industry they will not affected to the new types of transportation.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you willing to give BTC in charity? on: April 09, 2018, 06:26:34 AM
Now a day bitcoin is more popular all over the world, several people makes bitcoin as a source of everything either ordinary or riches people. They use bitcoin to help theirselves and others, but if you will be given a chance to have 10 Btc would you think can you give some Btc for those who belongs to indigenous peoples including charities?

Share your thoughts.

Thank you.

Yes I am if I have, but I will priority first my family because I am not a wealthy person my profit earnings from bitcoin as of now is only exact for my daily needs and I hope someday after several years I hope our lives has changed into a good living because of BITCOIN that's the main ambition of all people. but if ever this gonna be happen how could we give a Donation to charity? because as of now 2018 no charity organization here  accepted donation from private sector.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: April 07, 2018, 07:37:32 AM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"

Spending money profit from bitcoin for me it's same as normal daily uses because as of now my money earnings from bitcoin is not so big because of a problem of Bitcoin Price Value. and also I'm a new member here in bitcoin we all know that new member of bitcoin here is not too much earning of token  it has limited rewards for new members.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin affects students' performance in school on: April 06, 2018, 02:13:06 PM
As far as I can observe being a teacher, I am definitely happy that my students are involve in cryptocurrencies and they earn for themselves and help their families. But, their school perfomance is getting worse. Please give your thoughts how will you help students to earn and at the same time it won't affect their school works?

That is the good way by earning money while studying to help very well with their parents for financial and tuition fee  in school, but  it depends upon the student how they handle the situation. But my advice is just focus to study while in school and the best technique here is to divide your time to accommodate  BTC and study together.

Education is needed  for everyone of us but the chances to be rich while Bitcoin dominated so we can just take advantage for it. When did we do some effort if bitcoin totally disappear? so, we just think 100% on what's the good idea to do for this.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital? on: April 06, 2018, 12:54:20 PM
What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?

I choose  Big idea to Start for Business because if you have that Big Idea you gonna do better what you want do even if you can start to fund in small amount of capital you can succeed at the end your small capital will grow and grow and grow!, but if you choose big capital without accompanied by Big Idea is not worth it your business become suddenly shut down and totally closure.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: April 06, 2018, 11:31:55 AM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

If bitcoin totally  ban declared by all government no other affected here, it's only bitcoin holder and any token holder, no possible solution to solve that problem because from the start last 2009 bitcoin is not registered by government when they build their first coins. So, no possible action to solve that problem of course community would react if it's gonna be happen because this is supposedly survive the poverty problem.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: April 05, 2018, 04:40:01 PM
Bitcoin could be useful in allowing direct transfers from user to user but for such a feature to be utilized there would need to be basic infrastructure like electricity and internet. If third world countries start having those then there could be a leapfrog to bitcoin.

Bitcoin needs full support from every leader  to serve this into community but it doesn't works without complete requirements using new generation gadget which is lop top desktop or cellular phone that's the basic moves hows Bitcoin helps to community. Of course complete facilities learning equipment to teach the people who's without knowledge regarding how to this.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: April 05, 2018, 01:25:23 PM
I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment. My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.

All those coins and invested fiat money to BTC is actually affected to the result of price daily of bitcoin so we don't have any other solution for this, this is for general not only for a few people.  but the best thing we gonna do is to wait don't be discourage guys.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Those who have invested in bitcoin when it was 18k-20k$ on: April 05, 2018, 01:06:04 PM
I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?

If I have that particular Bitcoin amount during the time slide down the price of bitcoin of course I really quick
decide to hold my bitcoin because obviously your capital become lose then you will wait until it the price high come up, just like the story of my little investment in BTC when I've notice that bitcoin will continue going down I can immediately withdraw my few investment to avoid lose capital.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: April 05, 2018, 08:02:50 AM
Hi guys , I  read in social media that many people are panicking its because bitcoin dropped every hour and they think they might lose their money because of that .Well for me , there's no need to panic because when bitcoin dropped as its lowest price its a blessing . And also joining in CRYPTO CURRENCY WORLD, you already know what risk you  should face , and  its a win and win bet when you hold bitcoin . So knowing that  some people selling their bitcoin I feel so sorry for them.

Every person has initiative and also  have their own decision what they want to do in life, they decide to sell their bitcoin because they felt not secured or uncomfortable that time, we are also like  decentralized have you noticed? so we can not judge the person that they are stupid when the time they sell their own Bitcoin because of panic. we have our own decision.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: April 04, 2018, 12:31:04 PM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Thank you.

Bitcoin is more than gold, visiting the site and support everyday to bitcoin is enough to become good stability of bitcoin. we do not want bitcoin lose we must all support for their good intention for all of us, we don't hesitate to give the good thing for bitcoin rise again because we are all the beneficiary of bitcoin that's why until even if the price is super low but my heart is only for bitcoin ti'l the end.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2018, 08:47:19 AM
I love bitcoin because its the crypto currency and its the king of the crypto.
It hasa lot of use cases.

119  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: April 04, 2018, 08:09:52 AM
I heard Robert Kyosaki is talking about the crashed of FIAT CURRENCY? when this thing will happen? how are we going to respond?

If the new High-Technology did not crashed and it will continue discovered the new equipment to make the people doing easier in any different aspects it is possible that fiat money will crashed and replaced by DIGITAL CURRENCY but of course it depends upon the stability of currency on who sustained till the end because all of them are wanted to be dominated like bitcoin.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: April 03, 2018, 02:37:40 PM
The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another.   A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto".   What the...    Why is it causing another crash??  Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017.   All trading platforms suspended trading in September.   Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms.   Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall.   So what?  These people have VPNs!   When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs.   Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago.   So what?  Everyone is still using it.   Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth!   Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times).   Do not fall for it!
1.  Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2.  September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3.  November or December?  China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4.  January 2018.  China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5.  Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"...  (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"Huh
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"Huh
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"Huh??

Stop spreading this nonsense.    What's done was already done in September 2017.   Nothing has changed ever since.  NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news.   South Korea did not really ban crypto.  Just one guy wanted to ban it.  It was not approved, nor implemented.   So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously.   So what?   Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto.  Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto.  No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down.   The sad thing is, people are falling for it.   The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened.   Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news".   Use our brains.   Not hearsay from yellow journalism.   It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

This new generation we are in a millennial year there's a lot of people expressed their own statement saying something good based on their thoughts using a high tech gadget which is cellular phone and computer, how can we determine which either true or fake news all of those statement if it is like a brilliant when they made a good explanation start with the first Paragraph. so it is very difficult to identify what is fake news
