101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 01, 2024, 07:44:05 PM
Since the league is nearly over, I stopped gambling on these games because it feels like the games are not really that fair anymore. Some teams are basically giving up, because their position is guaranteed, and some teams give up because they may move up one or two places, but nothing that matters. Even the top and bottom teams gave up because most of them knows where they will land, and the ones that doesn't, end up already showing their power so it doesn't look like much will change.

All in all, I still gamble in some other leagues because it looks like there is still some competition, but at Serie A, I decided that it is not going to be anything that will change much, so I am not really putting any effort or money into this.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 01, 2024, 07:11:04 PM
Harry Kane is definitely the only player who guaranteed his place for next season. When they paid that much for him, I really assumed that it was way too much, but Kane has like 40+ goals in all competitions combined, it's really not an easy feat and definitely something that looks like a good idea.

I personally believe that we should probably consider this as not a big deal, because they knew he would be good so he will stay. What matters is that what type of changes will they make for next season, if they only fire the manager Tuchel and get someone else, that won't be enough, they really need to make some bigger changes in the club and they need to get some better players for the squad, but who and for which position? That's a sensitive subject for sure.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: May 01, 2024, 06:33:12 PM
Girona will definitely end up above ATM without a doubt. The third place is theirs, and that means that they are going to make a lot of money from the league, on top of that they are going to make a lot of money from selling some of their players as well (like savio) and they are going to make a lot of money for being in the UCL group stages as well.

All these combined could lead to nearly 150 million euros for them. Now that is of course amazing, there is really nothing bad about that part of this deal, btu the real question is that will they be able to stay consistent? Even with all that much money, if they finish next season 9th or something then they will never be good, so they need to figure out how they could end up with a better result in the end. Third is not must, but worst case a 5th is needed.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 01, 2024, 06:05:23 PM
I do agree that City has a higher chance and I feel like it is going to be quite good, we just need to give them a good chance to win it all.

I understand that it doesn't feel like that at times but the reality is that we are going to end up with a good return from City, they just had to deal with UCL for a while and they failed there which made them mad and they need to win the league to say that they had a good year, and it is possible that they could win the cup as well, so a league title and an fa cup would mean that they had a good decent season.

I know that they want UCL, but they got it last year and they can't win it every time, so the only other things they could win, they would be winning anyway. Pep is getting tired, but they have the power to finish strong.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 30, 2024, 08:52:51 PM
Turns out this will become a professional fight and it will go into each fighters professional career results as well, I did not expected this because it is 100% obvious that it is an exhibition match and nothing more. They are doing this only for the money and nothing more. I get that some fans will want to see something serious, because it has the potential to be a serious fight but to be fair I am definitely certain that we are not going to get a serious fight here, one of them is a youtubers brother and the other is a 50+ year old retired boxer, result shouldn't really matter here.

In any case, there are things that is required when it is professional fight, like medical expert team ready with all the gadgets, so that makes me feel better about this fight for sure.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 30, 2024, 08:04:41 PM
Big day today, I still think that Real Madrid will win the game and it feels like we are going to get the answer today at least. Ancelotti will show how he could do better this year, last year not only he was humiliated at UCL by losing to Manchester City with a big margin but he also lost the league to a Xavi Barcelona that had no money at all, so last season was a terrible one for them.

They want to show so many expensive players (interestingly not all bought that expensively) could do better this season and I believe that Bayern Munich is not a big threat, definitely not this season. Bayern sucked all season long at bundesliga this season, so making sure that we are dealing with a Real Madrid that will have a huge chance to win this game as well.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: April 30, 2024, 07:01:03 PM
To be fair if Galatasaray ended up losing the next two games, then Fenerbahce will be ahead 2 points, and even in that scenario if Galatasaray wins against Fenerbahce and the last game then they are still titled the champions. That seems like the most important part for Galatasaray, they have that calm situation where they are not worried, and Fenerbahce is doing a lot worse, not just in points because it is only 4 points and nothing huge, but Fenerbahce is worried and their players are obviously playing with some stress, it was a lot more obvious in the end, they never really ended up with any problem in the end.

We should probably consider the fact that this stress could end up with a bigger and bigger loss in the end, it's never good for a team to have that stress.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 30, 2024, 06:22:54 PM
Jamal Murray is definitely what made Nuggets win this easily, because we are talking about someone who made Jokic 2 time MVP as well. How? Well simply enough, Jokic can't be a great Center if he had no help at all, he needs some help to be who he is, like we all know him as a great passer right? Who could he pass to if he had terrible teammates? His teammates missing all their shots would make him not be the MVP, but when there are other threats like Murray who plays like this, he ends up getting better looks as well.

Murray definitely played amazingly and I believe that he is going to end up being the Kobe to Jokics Shaq in the future. We are going to see people start talking about Murray like the star he is, but it may take some time because all eyes are on Jokic right now.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: April 30, 2024, 01:11:51 PM
I am not fond of Republican political positions to be honest but even as an outsider I can see how desperate Democrats and Democrat aligned media have gotten.
Going after Trump because a woman that only could according to rumors become his vice president pick, is said to have euthanized a dog she once had? First of all, who the fuck cares? People go through a lot of grief when having to put down their dog, and now democrat aligned media use her grief in an attempt to portray Trump as cruel? Can't they see that being so desperate will backfire?

Secondly, the whole Trump prosecution thing seems to be backfiring also now that the supreme court seems to be aligning more with the presidential immunity scenario. I mean, if Democrats want actual change in this country they should put down a long term commitment to remove presidential immunity from prosecution. Of course they're not really gonna do that because it existing also serves their interests as a party serving big corporate interests. But they just try to apply the law only where it suits their interests, now even defying the supreme court.
I feel like it is basically showing the collective situation and not that single situation. I mean Trump has a lot of things that you can hate about him, but you can't just keep talking about the same thing all the time, you can't talk about "I just grab them by..." in 2024, that would be weird, that was then and people talked about it and we do hate him for him, but then this happens and you talk about this for a week or two, and then something else comes up and you hate him for that.

The point is that there is always something disgusting about him and you hate him, and then you move on to the new thing that you hate him for. In some cases (like for you this one) it is not a big deal, you can't have a new disgusting thing per week, so sometimes it is not a big deal to some people.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: April 30, 2024, 09:19:23 AM
Altcoins are here so that people would not miss out on another chance to make some more money. We might be too late for bitcoin, doesn't mean we shouldn't invest into bitcoin, I still have a lot of bitcoins compared to other coins in my portfolio, like everything else combined doesn't make bitcoin for me, so it is not really an alternative to me, bitcoin is still the best.

However, I can't make 1000x from bitcoin anymore, so why not try your chance with a smaller coin or token? That's what people are chasing and I believe that it is not a bad idea at all, we should all be considering that as a possibility. I believe that we could make a lot of money from alts if we pick the right coins but that's the hardest thing to do for sure.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 29, 2024, 06:39:52 PM
To be fair Roma got a tie as well so Bologna getting a tie wasn't really a big deal for them. If Roma won then they would be just within one game and that could be a risk but because Roma managed to get only a tie as well we end up with basically nothing serious there. I am sure that Bologna will manage to keep their fourth place, which I think was unexpected at the start of the season if you asked anyone.

In fact, if you switched 9th place Napoli with 4th place Bologna and just showed people at the start of the season, people would say that makes sense. But as we know now, Napoli had a terrible terrible season coming off a title, which is a big shocker and Bologna had a season unlike any season they had and managed to reach fourth place which is a great achievement for them.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you depend on game predictions by supercomputers? on: April 29, 2024, 05:02:05 PM
Not really, that never feels like a possibility for me. If there is a sport that has humans involved, then we could end up with anything at random and this is why I believe that we are not going to get anything like this working, because computers will just give you the probability, and no probability is 100%, we will never have that. We are going to end up with computers telling us which team is the better team or which player is the best player but we are not going to get the winner all the time.

Obviously we will have to check, if you have this kind of computer, and make a test where you see 100 bets of the computer, and calculate if you would be in profit or not if you followed its advice, then you may see that it was profitable and you could maybe start using after that.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2024, 03:35:33 PM
It's true that the current rivalry is much different from previous seasons, where both of them were still defending their respective clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona, but their aging has made them both lower their egos and support each other. That's football, no matter how big the tension is when it enters the season.  As adults, this will reduce the arrogance of the two players themselves, so it is not surprising that at this time we have not seen a replacement for either of them in the next football season, we will no longer feel the interest in competition between individuals, but the positive thing is that this season  This season, everyone is fixated on just the big clubs and everyone has returned to the era of 2000 and below, there is no longer the era of Ronaldo and Messi, even though it is impossible for Ronaldo Junior to be able to break the big cycle that his father has held for several decades.
I would say that it is not about competing with each other but more about the viewership that it gets for the historical situation it had. Ronaldo and Messi may not be good at all when they play in this world cup or even if they do, I am sure that if Messi wants to play then he will get to play because he won't be "that" old but Ronaldo would be way too old when he plays and he may not even be picked, it is said by Ronaldo fans that he is still scoring a lot so he should play but he is scoring at a very amateur league level so it is not really considered good for Portugal team.

I believe that even if both still manages to get called up and even start and play all 90 minutes against each other somehow, we will still see a lot of people watch it for historical meaning of it.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 29, 2024, 07:24:32 AM
I do not think that Barcelona did "badly" though. They are second behind only Real Madrid and Barcelona has been second behind Barcelona a million times before, not like this is a new thing. Secondly they went as far as quarter finals and nearly reached semi finals at UCL as well, which is a great thing and I believe definitely something that we could see happening as well.

So all in all I believe that we are not getting that much of a trouble, Xavi has done well, plus last year he won the league title with a team he made from scraps of what was left from previous manager and a few tiny additions that are long gone and nowhere to be found. So all in all I think he is a good manager and he will do much better if given some more time, he builds the future of Barcelona.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 28, 2024, 08:12:43 PM
To be fair, when Nuggets got within less than 10 points, I believed that Nuggets were right about to turn the game around and make a come back as well so if I had a bet like that I would have cashed out early as well Cheesy. We have seen them come from 20 point behind and still win the game, which is why we should probably consider that it is not going to be all that easy.

I believe that Lakers did well on the very last minute to keep them at bay and not give the win away. Not that I believe Lakers would win the series, I think the series has been long over for a long time now and next game will be at Denver, with that famous altitude, and I believe that Denver will end up winning that game. It is so hard to stop Murray and Jokic together, and they are doing so well now.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 28, 2024, 05:15:23 PM
Honestly this "racially attack black players" thing is getting out of hand in Spain, we all remember it was done to Vinicious Jr. and it was even said that Vini could leave Real Madrid just because of that. If these fans are not worried about doing it in front of the TV where they are all recorded and they know that nothing will happen to them if they do this with 50 thousand other people and 20 cameras taking their shot, then imagine what they could do when these players are all out on the public and there is nobody taking their video.

Spain has to do something about this racism because if this keeps up then slowly but surely we are going to see black players not preferring to go to Spain and Spanish football will take a big hit due to this problem. I am sure Spanish people are great people, but when it's about football, they turn to mad men.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 28, 2024, 04:36:35 PM
I have been quite silent related to how good or bad of a manager Arne Slot will be next season, and to be fair I think we still don't know anything about that situation, it is a totally unknown situation.

However, if we are going to end up talking about how it works, we could say that spending 9.4 million euro on him makes no sense at all. This dude is not some super manager that won UCL last season, this dude is just Feyenoord manager and spending that much on him makes no sense to me. Even if he does well enough, not like he will win them UCL, and managers do not cost this much. And not like this is the end of it, we are going to see Arne Slot get a fee too, so all in all this would cost nearly 15 million for them which is way too high for a manager at that size.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: April 28, 2024, 02:45:24 PM
Gambling addicts will find it difficult to change their habits and way of thinking because they will not think about other things apart from gambling. But if they realize that there is something wrong with them and start looking for it, they will find that they have a gambling addiction and need to cure their gambling addiction.
But everything will come back to the gambling addicts because not many can look inside themselves to find or introspect what they have done. Most of the gambling addicts will get deeper into gambling and will not look at anything else because it is not important to them.
People who cannot control themselves when gambling have the potential to experience gambling addiction. That is why we must avoid gambling excessively.
Emotionally unstable gambling addict will always find an excuse to gamble, same goes for people who emotionally eat, or emotionally even self-harm. There are people who just do not have the right psychological material sometimes, and they do need help from a professional to get better. If those people ended up getting into gambling then they would end up with a terrible result and will end up keep losing money all the time.

I am not saying that we can't really consider those people getting better all by themselves and no matter how much money they lose, they are going to end up with more and more trouble in the end and will try to gamble more. I personally believe that we are going to end up with a lot more issues in the end and we can't really make it change, they need help.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 28, 2024, 08:10:31 AM
Not extending his contract makes sense when we are talking about someone who already has a contract, why would he want to end up extending already. He was leaving this season already, so keeping him one more year was the best they could do which is why him staying one more season is all they could hope for at this moment.

However, we are looking into something that could still be extended at the end of the season, we are going into the season with everyone at zero, if Barcelona ends up being champions for example then he may still extend, or if the financial situation gets better then he may end up getting another contract. All of these do matter in the end and I feel like we should consider how good Barcelona being good at the end of the season, that may change the contract situation.

Ancelottis "experience" is playing direct football, and when you have amazing players that is not really that hard to do it, which he had in all four of his UCL titles to be fair. I am definitely not saying he wasn't successful or anything, you have to be a mad man to say that he isn't a great manager, but it is not his tactics that made him great, anyone could make their team play the same tactic, but nobody has the same amount of "get the best out of a player" like Ancelotti does, give this team to another manager, same team, and make them play EXACTLY the same tactic, but you won't get this success.

Ancelottis real secret is not formation or style or anything, it is his communication and "friendship" with players, that makes the players give 110% every game, even if it is unimportant game.
