Seems a lot of money is taking haven in Stellar XLM. Some may say that this is due to an imminent coinbase listing. However, ADA has an equal chance of being listed next, and it hasn’t held up nearly as well during this dump as Stellar has; so it’s not for that reason.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are completely different products and networks. ETH will not fail but could easily lose a ton of value. It was never designed to be a store of value. Same with xrp and xlm. They are meant to be cheap and stable currencies for their specific networks to use and burn, not hodl.

To be honest, i'm kinda glad that this bearish market is still lasting. It will kill all the useless coins and projects, make way for true adoption of crypto. There were so many of them and they are just eating away the market.

Bitcoin breaking previous high's will be the catalyst for the next bull run, which may not be until the next halvening. Retail investors will not be drawn back in until those headlines.

Since CBOE futures are expiring tomorrow, the whales are taking this last opportunity to make a killing shorting BTC before BAKKT launches on Dec 12th. Next futures don't expire until 12/19. If this bizzaro logic holds, then BTC will start pumping on Thursday!

It seems like 2018 is all about being very patient until the prices are low. If you wait long enough, then you will find a very very good entrance point to pretty much all of these coins. And you don't even have to wait that long.

I think this bear market can last another year or so before slow recovery if you compare it with the late 2013 mt gox crash.

Nano seems to be holding up relatively well compared to other alts during this mini sell-off. I got so used to losing 5-10% per day over the last 10 months that it just feels wonderful to lose 1% nowadays.

I would expect to see ETH at $1000 again in the next couple years unless something goes terribly wrong. Nothing is certain in crypto.

Stop buying stagnant large caps.
You know how you make money in this market? Low cap coins on obscure exchanges and pre-Coinbase pumps.

BOS (BOScoin). Massively hyped in early 2017, it’s been flying under the radar. It’s up 50% the past week, as the new White Paper has just been published, including having details of the MainNet release on 15th Nov and staking details. DYOR but I am very excited about this one.

Alts are way down from their ATH, so money is flowing back into the market through alts first, because they will likely have the highest % return again in the next bull run.

We aren't getting a bull run yet. We're only just finishing the drop from the last one. Stage is set TA-wise (Descending triangle complete) but public opinion is still too shaken to do a repeat of Summer 2017 just yet. Stability is gonna reign until a sufficient amount of people have forgotten about 2018.

Switcheo (SWTH) is about to release ETH pairs on their NEO-based DEX!! These guys have been working non-stop and Callisto should be a major success. ETH will bring huge volume and Qtum chain integration will follow eventually! They also said they were working on a new set of incentive for the SWTH holders.
I am following this project since the contest they participated with NEO last year. They released some code to help with Ledger integration that benefit the whole NEO community. These guys are something else and I think their DEX will get major traction. Trying it should convert any pessimist.
