101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Robinhood Crypto Trading on: January 25, 2018, 07:43:40 PM
Guys,

Is it a coincidence that this is called Robinhood?

COBINHOOD is already doing all that you described above. Their COB token also gives some pretty nice bonuses, like period airdrop of new tokens.

Trading with zero-fee

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2169745.0

https://cobinhood.com/

For whose money will the exchange exist? Who will pay for the equipment, ervers. It also requires high costs for sacurity and personnel. Most likely it's just a marketing move to attract new customers. But after a while a fee will be introduced and the exchange will turn into the usual one.

To address your concerns: COBINHOOD makes money from ICO's which it underwrites, and from margin trading (which has a little fee on it)

102  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 25, 2018, 07:29:50 PM
I have an ideal for this merit system, just cross over my minds. How about we reset everyone's merits in this forum back to 0 ? The current activities will be kept as usual but everybody in this forum have to be contributing to get back their ranks? Cause it seems unfair when there are TONS of Legendaries and Hero Members that contributing nothing to this forum still get the fucking high-rank position member before this was implemented. Just an ideal, not native english speaker but i do know how to speak english. Smiley
P/S: If this ideal was performing , i truely believe that everyone in this forum will work as best as they can to contribute good posts/ideals and that would made this forum become such as a fucking wow-shit forum.
For all of you, who was legendary and hero that this system is cool , brilliant , bla bla bla ,... Will you accept to reset your merit point back to 0 ? Reset everthing for a better place?

I don't think that is a great idea.

This forum would not grow to where it is now, if not for such Legendary and Hero members. No forum accumulates so much traffic without the help of members. If there is nothing interesting or helpful to read, why would anyone come to this forum? For that you need active members.

Although I am a little dissapointed that I've only got 250 merits, I think it is fair that the Legendary and Hero members are rewarded for their efforts.

You can not possibly believe that members who posted over 1000 posts, have never helped someone out??

We are investors and we have the right to know.

There are no investors as far as I am aware. There was no ICO. If you bought from someone or from an exchange, you traded. Not invested.

Well if you really want to be technical about it, it is actually gambling lol...

The only difference between putting 1000 USD in a casino, and 1000 USD in an ICO, is that with a casino you know if you win or lost instantly, with an ICO you gotta wait a few months.

The moral of the story is, call it what you call it. The fact is that some people put money into ESP2, and they have the right to ask questions, and deserve responses.

Yeah, it's slow dice. Or slow lotto.

So I don't ask questions. I just wait and hodl. What else ...

I've realised some time ago that the best strategy for someone who has a day job is to accumulate, follow, and occassionally, rebalance your portfolio, of coins of project which you sincerely believe in (a) the team (b) the idea (c) the technology.

With such a strategy it is natural that people follow developments of the projects they support, and inquisitive followers will surely ask questions - I am one of them Smiley

it seems that a big wave has been skipped in a few weeks ago and I see this is a sharp decline. it's time to buy and wait for the next show

You're right it is definitely time to buy. I've got my eye on a few coins, just not sure if I want to put in any more fiat, or rebalance some of my current holdings.

Hey Hadron Team,

Is there anything that can be done to boost my Echelon level?

I've been put on Echelon 4, which limits my mining capacity to just 30 HADRON, I've been mining for about an hour, and have already got 1 HADRON.

I would assume that the Echelon level is assigned toward the spec of hardware that someone is using? If this is the case, I have actually posted that I will be mining with my Smart Phone S7 Edge.

But I've actually decided to try it out on my PC, and I intend to keep mining with it.

My PC spec is :
Intel Celeron G3900 2.80GHz CPU
16GB DDR4 RAM
AMD RX 560 4GB GDDR5 GPU

Can my Echelon level get raised?

Look forward to your response!

Thanks

Hi glennmatthew. For questions, please use the Alpha Miner Feedback Telegram channel. (The link is in your invite email.)

But generally, Echelon Level is actually based on how much Social Proof you have. That's mainly helping us spread the word about Hadron. It's our way of saying thanks to those that have supported the project and helped it grow!

Cool, that makes a lot of sense. I actually like the idea, that is a really good way to award participants.

It is a shame that I don't really have any social media channels. Maybe I should start working on a twitter profile!

Thanks for the quick response Smiley

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH make everyone poor? ETH price at $300 again soon? ETH bubble popping? on: January 23, 2018, 09:56:03 PM
Another FUD thread with no purpose, majority of them are raised their fund through ethereum. This is bullshit. this year will become the last year to use ethereum in icos.
Ethereum moves to the hybrid which mean to put your ether into the icos will not worth anymore because you will be able to staking your coin. This thread is completely FUD with bunch of non sense things.

Not true, staking will have no chance to generate x10 x20 or even x50 profits that some ICO's made in a few months. Sure there is less risk, so people will stake. Staking and ICO's can coexist without major problems.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: January 23, 2018, 07:42:50 AM
it's great that SONM came to such a big meetup, I hope they show themselves well there. I wonder how the price of this will react?)
it is unlikely in our conditions, the price will just react to the presentation of the project, it must be strong news to move the price. progress in the development and Vnedrenie here is our engine prices.

I agree with the speaker above, this will probably not impact the price. We just need to wait when the bitcoin market recovers, and when we see green days again

HOLD strong guys, don't give up your dreams Smiley

Rzero, you are almost the only one complaining about something you didn't even tried.

This site can be the only one that is actually paying to the investors and you are just trashing this thread. You already gave your opinion and you could stop spamming this thread.

As a Senior older member on Bitcointalk i can confirm this website is paying!

Best regards,
memphixx

As a senior member with negative trust haha.

Get ouf of here with your purchased account, its obvious that this is a scam.

Only a fool can fall for it:)

Guys,

What happens with all unsold tokens? Will they be burned? I am considering a small investment, its been a while since I last joined an ICO.

Also, what are the benefits of holding the token?

Thanks
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO LIVE]PECULIUM - First Saving System in Crypto Driven by AI on: January 22, 2018, 07:28:27 AM
Jesus christ it is getting listed at SHITBTC!!!

This is by far the worst exchange known to man kind, can't be trusted with a single penny. If this was the only exchange in the world, I would not be in crypto...

Even EtherDelta deserves more trust...
113  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: January 21, 2018, 10:09:23 PM
So, if I've understood correctly I need to post 30 times or post once in a 2-week period over 3 separate 2-week periods to be able to send one pm to one person. Lmao.

Whats so funny? I like that adjustment. So you can't easily create an account and spam the members..

Thank you at the thread-maker Wink. I like that system and now I know how it works.

It makes a hell of a lot of sense, I was getting WAY too many newbie accounts messaging me with their super gangsta ICO which will make me millions.

It made me miss the emails I used to get from the Nigerian Prince who wanted me to inherit his money
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] COBINHOOD - ZERO Trading Fee Cryptocurrency Exchange on: January 21, 2018, 10:00:27 PM
Hi,

May i know why is the bitcoin price on this particular exchange is way low? legit?

As of now the price ranges 7000 to 8000 usd, so if i deposit 8000 usd and withdraw 1 btc here is possible?

It is because there is still a little low trading volume. If you can see a sell order for 8000USD, then you can buy for 8000USD, however it is likely that by the time you deposit, that sell order will be gone Tongue

The value will be up to normal once the exchange gains momentum and liquidity. Nothing unusual there.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SmartBillions World’s first multi-billion-dollar blockchain lottery. on: January 21, 2018, 09:47:01 PM
Hi all, I don't see a smartbillions contract in myetherwallet, although I have 1700 smart tokens in there, does anyone else have this problem?

Also anybody know the approximate actual value of 1 SMART token in ether, usd, or bitcoin

Your tokens are still in your wallet.  I noticed that myetherwallet doesn't list Smartbillions in the contract list anymore, but you can still interface with it by using the smartbillions wallet address.  (0x6F6DEb5db0C4994A8283A01D6CFeEB27Fc3bBe9C).

You still need to copy the Contract ABI from etherscan.io (https://etherscan.io/address/0x6F6DEb5db0C4994A8283A01D6CFeEB27Fc3bBe9C#code and paste it into the ABI section for myetherwallet to interact with it properly.  Then you can use the functions properly

Hiya, that's all way beyond my level of knowledge lol, my portfolio estimates the 1700 tokens are worth around $5 at current prices, so I doubt it's even worth my time to attempt to disinvest or even try to sell them on etherdelta (what a terrible site btw.) I'll just leave them in myetherwallet as a reminder to do a little more due diligence next time Smiley.  It's a shame as it seemed like a good idea, who knows maybe there is an active dev team working ferociously away in a basement somewhere and everything changes in the future, doubtful but hey, ever the optimist Smiley

Hey dude, 1700 tokens are probably worth around 1.5 ETH.

You can disinvest really easily, I adapted a guide that I found online. It was initially for collecting dividends, I changed 1 line and its for disinvesting now Tongue

Scroll up a little and you will find the guide, a child can follow it haha Smiley

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid to post at Bitcointalk ? on: January 20, 2018, 05:59:23 PM
I think it's legal, because ico organizers have hired a bounty manager to promote their ico project, and all forms of regulation are up to the bounty manager, and if the bounty manager chooses his promotional path through signature campaign, social media, telegram etc. then that legal

Sorry I can't help but comment that your logic is flawed. You're basically saying, that something illegal is legal as long as you get someone else to do it?

Regardless, there is nothing illegal about signature campaigns. It is the same as renting out advertising space on a website. Adverts wouldn't be here if people didn't get paid to put them up.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: January 20, 2018, 05:54:51 PM
Hitbtc:

Please mind the fee amount in the "Deposit" section while making ETH token deposit.

SNM SONM
Deposit - fixed fee:   -136.461918700000 SNM  ( 49.21 USD )
Withdraw - flat fee:   -48 SNM  ( 17.31 USD )
Is this real? That's pretty insane if so. Since when do you pay for deposits..?

lol they did this? this exchange is really that mad. i can't believe i have some tokens being deposited there few months ago. i noticed some strange thing too because i tried to dump some tokens i got and they never allow me to do it, they want me to leave something in the wallet. i don't know why it didn't allow me to dump all but allow me to dump after leaving 15 tokens in the trading wallet.
The name HIT-BTC doesnt come from anywhere, it should actually be called SHIT-BTC

There was a pretty big issue going on with the DIM Coin listing, they allowed a few hour window for a few people to get their DIM coins on the exhange, then disabled it for days.

As a result people bought the DIM coins at between 1000% to 3000% their real value, without actually realising that the price was inflated because only a few million coins (where total circulation is in order of billions) were on the exchange. I was lucky enough to get in, and sell 10% of my holding for like 10x my initial investment but still, such things should not be allowed to take place, even in crypto.

That was my FIRST and LAST experience using SHIT-BTC! No matter how you look at it, SHIT-BTC should not be trusted with your money.

Stay away from them for the sake of your lambo!
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid to post at Bitcointalk ? on: January 19, 2018, 11:17:11 PM
I was wondering this problem. Do you think some ICO are hiring people to comment positively on their ICO post ?

Is it legal under the forum rules

Idk how legal it is but I'm pretty sure some ICOs are doing it.

Also call me paranoid but there are some actual shills on here as well, who probably get paid under the radar.

Well are you surprised?

Even in the real world, half of the business is done under the table, in the form of a brown envelope.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: January 19, 2018, 11:13:36 PM
I dont think they are trash. And even if it is, what harm is there in applying?

I thought to experiment a few months ago, and I spent an evening signing up to 3 or 4 different ones.

A few weeks later I was sent 10000 ELT tokens. I've had no clue what they do, but I figured there is no harm in keeping them. They were worth around 1250 USD before the market crash, now worth around 750 USD. Tell me thats not good for an evening of clicking Wink

As long as it is an ERC20 token, I'm happy to apply. I would however, never apply to a shit coin for which I have to download a wallet. You've got to be stupid to do that, its almost like rolling out a red carpet for a hacker to steal your money.
