81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: February 07, 2018, 07:57:11 PM
the market depends on confidence and dimcoin has lost the confidence of most of its investors

I do agree but they are trying to get the investors trust and confidence back again. They have done the following:
- Hired promoters to improve communication
- Doing frequently blog post to update investors
- Generally more transparency in their communication (just take a look at AMA)

Could you link to their blog posts? I may be following the wrong channels but I am not aware of a DIM blog.

Yes I do agree, the communication in the AMA's has improved substantially since it started, but I believe it is still being done with 50% effort. More can be done, and its not hard...
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SmartBillions World’s first multi-billion-dollar blockchain lottery. on: February 07, 2018, 07:39:10 PM
What is SmartBillions Coin?
The lottery started her ICO in mid-October. As a SmartBillion Coin Holder, you will receive a monthly dividend that began one month after the first token bid completion.
Read More@ https://www.geekxplore.com/what-is-smartbillions-coin.html

I think you might want to add in your article that the coin has been abandoned by the devs.

There is no use in publicity for the project, you will just make people who don't research lost their money... Unless you trying to pump the price to sell your bags Tongue
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: February 06, 2018, 07:29:58 AM

___________________________________________________________________
Want more exchanges? Eu.Coin is hosting a poll to see which tokens they should list. Let's get SNM on that list!
Go to http://eucoin.io and vote for SONM

___________________________________________________________________

I have put in my vote, I hope that everybody else will do the same.

SONM is an easy coin to add for exchanges because it is ERC20, if the exchange will see demand, then they will list it!

Hey guys, does the qbundle wallet double up as a 1.3.6 node as well?
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe a ledger is? on: January 29, 2018, 08:15:43 AM
It's safe enough. If you're worried about that, buy it directly from the Ledgerwallet website or their official resellers which you can find on the site, don't use eBay etc.

Thak you for advice, I wan't buy Ledger but I am afraid that it will broke and I will lose my money(

There is no need to worry about it breaking. The ledger comes with a little paper, when you create your wallet it gives you a 24 word recovery phrase which you write down on to the paper. If the device ever breaks, all you need to do is buy a new ledger, and recreate your wallet with that 24 word recovery phrase.

I think I don't need to say it - never give ANYONE that recovery phrase Tongue The only way that someone can have access to your account, is if they were to steal your recovery phrase. Your computer can have a million viruses and keyloggers, and it still won't get information from your ledger. However, you should still invest in decent anti virus and anti-malware software. My trusted combination is MalwareBytes and ESET.

The ledger won't protect you from yourself.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most overvalued coin? on: January 29, 2018, 08:04:00 AM
Most overvalued coin?

0. Ripple, must be ~0.20$
1. Ripple
2. Ripple
3. Bitcoin Gold, must be under 50$

Most undervalued coin?
1. Dash
2. Monero/Zcash

+upvote for this, XRP lovers must take a close look on the charts, seems ~0.20$ is legit price lol

Ripple is a project which has its flaws, and also has its pros. I for one have held on to a little bit of ripple for months now, and it has given me very nice returns.

Going back to the OP, to decide which is the most undervalued coin, we should probably start looking at coinmarketcap's most valued, and decide if that value is legitimate. Bitcoin is clearly the culprit, it is definitely the most overvalued coin at this moment. It doesn't perform nearly as well as some other coins do, its earned some of that price being branded the digital gold, store of value etc etc, however the majority of that price is hyper inflated by the media. Turn on the news, grab a paper, or scroll through some news portals online - how often do you see the word bitcoin compared to last year? How many stories you can read of bitcoin millionaires?

People love the hype, and want to be part of it...
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: January 28, 2018, 08:20:02 AM
this is a great Bot for trading
Is there a plan to add kucoin & other good exchanges for gunbot?
Next week we will add gdax and then it’s time for kucoin in 2 weeks

COBINHOOD might be a very good one to add. They do not charge any fee's so it would be perfect for a BOT to trade in, even if it is making only 1 sat on each trade!
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Spectrecoin[XSPEC] TOR+OBFS4, Ring Sig, Stealth! on: January 28, 2018, 08:11:57 AM
How would you guys compare this coin to Onion?
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which altcoin is the best investment this year ? on: January 27, 2018, 10:12:43 PM
My immediate advice is - be careful with that money. Keep a lot of it for the hard days, don't put it all in crypto. You can make lots of money quick in crypto, but losing money can happen even quicker. Don't trust anyone, trust only yourself and your research. People always trying to rip others off for their benefit.

If I were you I would start reading up about my personal recommendations which are BURST, LOOMIA and SONM.

BURST and SONM is undervalued right now, it is likely to explode in price in 2018. LOOMIA will be doing an ICO soon, it is also pretty promising.

Make sure to read a lot, invest in projects which you sincerely believe in the team, idea and technology.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PACcoin - under 2 satoshi and already hitting! #90 on coinmarketcap on: January 27, 2018, 04:29:50 PM
With the huge supply and a price so low, it's in a lot ways a fairly riskless investment, if the price hits 1 satoshi then there's almost no risk attached, unless exchanges start using more decimals of bitcoin.

You are wrong, don't think of it like that.

The price was once below 1 satoshi. How you may ask?

1 satoshi is the lowest decimal for a bitcoin. The PAC coin can also be traded against other currencies like Doge coin. If you consider this then the price of the PAC coin can go to the lowest decimal of a Dog coin. You will still see sell orders for 1 satoshi, but not any buy orders.

Don't fall for the trick
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] COBINHOOD - ZERO Trading Fee Cryptocurrency Exchange on: January 27, 2018, 03:36:09 PM
Cobinhood scammed me 0.4 ETH deposit from BitStamp.
And I'm not the only one. I'm gonna scream it all over the net, cause I got plenty of proofs.

Simply UNACCEPTABLE.

I think you should contact the support first about this instead of screaming all over the net. I'd be happy to see your proof, because I am near certain there isn't any lol

Do you think they would scam YOU for 0.4 ETH (pocket money) when they have some individuals that deposit more than 1000 ETH?

Surely it would make more sense to scam somebody like that.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: January 26, 2018, 09:33:54 PM
Well done guys, we are nearing 80% PoCC nodes, that is really solid. It is amazing to see that the community is coming together and uniting for one cause.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: January 26, 2018, 09:21:59 PM
i will be going through their whitepaper..

Absolutely, be sure too. The Dymaxion whitepaper is a fantastic read, very insightful. It is evident that a lot of time and critical thinking is going on behind the scenes.

The burst pocc devs are damn geniuses! If they implement what they promise, my hat goes off to all of them.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: January 26, 2018, 09:15:57 PM
I have given up the hope for SONM this is the only coin that i have invested given me no profit.

You must be very talented to be able to do that. I have invested considerable amounts into SONM, and it is still profiting for me.

If you buy and sell at the wrong times, then no coin is going to change that, and no power in the crypto world will make you money.

I have decided long ago, that SONM is the coin that I will hold for years.

See you on the moon one day, I hope Smiley
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Robinhood Crypto Trading on: January 25, 2018, 08:36:16 PM
Guys,

Is it a coincidence that this is called Robinhood?

COBINHOOD is already doing all that you described above. Their COB token also gives some pretty nice bonuses, like period airdrop of new tokens.

Trading with zero-fee

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2169745.0

https://cobinhood.com/

For whose money will the exchange exist? Who will pay for the equipment, ervers. It also requires high costs for sacurity and personnel. Most likely it's just a marketing move to attract new customers. But after a while a fee will be introduced and the exchange will turn into the usual one.

To address your concerns: COBINHOOD makes money from ICO's which it underwrites, and from margin trading (which has a little fee on it)

Cobinhood is actually a copy-cat of Robinhood not the other way around. Robinhood is huge in the US and has been around for a long time. It is federally insured and SEC compliant in the US meaning they can't just walk away with your money.

Cobinhood is shit in comparison to Robinhood, no offense

Good to know - thanks! I'll keep an eye on it.

Is that insurance only for US citizens, or does that insurance cover international users too?
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Robinhood Crypto Trading on: January 25, 2018, 08:34:54 PM
I would never trust my money neither to robinhood nor to cobinhood. The original Robin Hood has been taking money from rich people and giving it away to the poor ones which makes me feel a hidden meaning in the name of the project. That will be funny if this project will decide to scam its followers one day or it just get "hacked". The fact that  there exist a similar project with a similar name makes it look suspicious.
P.S. You should move this thread to the service discussion board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=85.0

It is foolish to assume that an established exchange will not pull an exit scam. If the founders of any current top 20 or even top 50 exchange pull a fast one, they will never have to check their bank account again. Living a comfortable life in Mexico, Hawaii, or the moon.

My rule of thumb is to never hold funds on exchanges, deposit, trade, withdraw.

PS.
Well if we are judging exchanges by their names, then what is special about the Legolas exchange which is in your signature? Tongue
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ties.Network Tokensale Successfully Completed on: January 25, 2018, 08:23:34 PM
The idea was nice but they did not delver what they promised. I sold all my tokens at 50% loss in btc.

Your loss I think.

TIES is not a get rich quick project. In fact, something like that doesn't exist. Bitcoin early birds had to wait YEARS before any good profits were made. ETH ICO investors, also had to wait years.

Those who waited, those who were strong - got what they deserved.

Remember my friend, patience pays off. If you're going to sell at a loss, you're almost better off just writing the whole thing off. Forget about it and check back in a year.
