VOXP.....11/18/2014- Return from the Death!

There's something wrong with the staking.

My weight is 658, network is 299, time for reward is 27 seconds.. no staking whatsoever..

I'm on v1.6.1.9-g.

Mine says expected time to earn reward is one minute.

I have been waiting about two hours and still nothing.

Only my sparks are staking for several days now and won't come out of staking. I already deleted the wallet twice and synced but its stays on stake. (and of course updated the wallet)
Did i miss something or did something wrong, i don't no. maybe someone can help?

I'm seeing a coinbase transaction right now and it doesn't look like there's any zerocoin-related stuff. A regular address, a regular coinbase tx and so on.
There's also  a couple of rpc commands one for minting another one for sending zerocoins, apparently without any parameters  
My guess is this is a useless work-in-progress at best. It's just a regular coin with the theoretical possibility of turning regular coins into "zerocoins" and having both types of tx on the chain. That's a best case scenario, unless the dev has anything to say or prove ...

We are talking to the exchanges about how to get deposits/withdrawals working again; Bittrex, Bter and C-Cex have all said they are willing to work with us but because of the fork their books are unbalanced by around 50K SPARK in total. Ideally we might raise that amount from donations but we are also investigating the possibility of a one off "reboot block" with a 50k reward to fund it.

This coin appeared to get off to a good start, would be a shame to waste that and see everyone who invested hashpower/BTC lose out - hopefully the SPARK community will continue to support this effort. Support doesnt just have to be financial, time and skills are valuable too if anyone has some they can contribute!

"instamining" is not the correct term. Those guys clearly are paying big bucks for big rigs for a share of only 8% of the total supply over the course of the following month.

This is exactly why the extra 1m of coins being issued was a great idea - the level of interest in BOOM is boosted! Yes, some whales are trying to accumulate more, but, right now, it makes just as much sense to buy BOOM from Bittrex.

It didnt look  like a serious offer , especially since they put in the donation addresses themselves , asking for BTC and Pesa upfront looks very scammy , not to surprising they didnt get enough donated.
If it had been Jakethepanda posting the addresses with him as escrow  then there would have been donations at least from me.

I have to agree with barabbas in that donations should be in Pesa only. It would ensure your motivation in staying with the project.  Whive, in our skype conversations, a bunch of us were trying to tell you that it would be easier and actual more appropriate for the donations to be in Pesa only.  

With that being said, I was willing to float 1 btc to Whive and the team.  But, the deal was for donations to be released after the milestones were completed.  The first milestone, which we all agreed on, was for a new OP, white paper and roadmap.  Once completed I would release the funds.  I think that's fair considering most people that have been in coins I'm involved in know I'm good for it and have no problem donating.  At first, Whive said the white paper and OP would be done up with graphics and then he reneged saying it's too much work for the designers.  My first thought is that people do graphics and logos all the time on bitcointalk for free, but I was willing to let that go.  The major red flag for me was when I see that you weren't going to do the new OP and finalized white paper until I released the donations.  That wasn't the deal.  The deal was delivery and then release.  I'm glad this happened now and not after I wasted btc.  If just creating an OP is too much work without the release of the funds I'm sure you would have held any future development hostage without a donation release.

Can someone explain to me what is innovative about spark? Or at least the plans for adoption?

I have over 90 BTC worth of coins lost through Mintpal.
If I get scammed I will be visiting that nerdy chubfuck in person, guaranteed.  I did this with the last asshole who took my coins and he couldn't stop shaking, compensated me nicely.

Am I missing something or is this just another totally pointless coin offering no innovation with an anonymous dev?
