101  Economy / Speculation / Re: You coming? The train is leaving :choooo choooo: on: January 17, 2018, 11:46:19 PM
Yes.Already train is boarding on by those who last time missed the train.Very soon,it would once again start its journey towards $20,000.I believe that this price correction is good for bitcoin as it has previously increased very high reaching ATH of $20,000 due to entry of companies like CME,CBOE.Slow and steady increase in price is good for bitcoin's progress.Hope that big whales would have collected as much bitcoins at cheap rate as they can.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans bitcoin EVERY year on: January 16, 2018, 11:56:30 PM
Great piece of information.Actually, china has much earlier lost its importance in bitcoin world when it banned ICOs and exchanges completely.Earlier, china had an upper hand in bitcoin market.I could still remember those days before two years when every one would be keenly watching the changes occurring in china's bitcoin markets to plan whether to buy or sell bitcoins.Chinese gamblers easily manipulated bitcoin price as they wished on those days. But thank god, those days are no more.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the success ladder. on: January 14, 2018, 10:22:10 PM
Bitcoin has so far been a hope a way to be rich in short time bitcoin has given us the opportunity to archive your dream people who started investing in bitcoin in the start of bitcoin now could be seen on the sky enjoying their victory and appreciating themselves for the right desicion they took on the right time.
i was too young when bitcoin started if i could go in past i will be buying millions of bitcoins what do you think
Yes.I too came to know about bitcoin just two years ago when its price was $650.If i had known it before,i would have bought more coins at cheap rates  and today i might would have been a millionaire. But still,i'm satisfied that atleast i knew it that much before because still now newcomers regret for knowing about it late.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: January 14, 2018, 01:04:07 PM
Currently the cryptocurrency market is going through a big correction (especially to those who have recently joined). We are seeing coins lose 30-50% of its value in a few days and everyone is panicking. These are the times that will define who will succeed in this market and who will fail. You have to keep your emotions in check and be confident that once you have done proper research in the coins you have invested in they will go up when the market rebounds. Corrections are inevitable and is needed for the overall market to grow. So if you are feeling overwhelmed by the drastic decline in your portfolios just take a few days off and enjoy some sunshine. If you want to be aggressive throw some more fiat into the game and take advantage of the low prices.
This would be the time of panic for new investors who would even sell their holdings at cheaper rates due to the fear of loss as they see the price of their coins falling down. But actually, this is the exact time to buy more coins and increase our holdings. It is what big whales and old investors do as they know very well that market will soon turn to be bullish.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Candy (CDY) on: January 14, 2018, 12:57:04 PM
i already sold all my candies after the fork.

They have already been released? The roadmap says end of January for the launch of the mainnet.
I got the message from Viabtc that Bitcoin candy would be created after a hard fork on January 13th and total marketcap of coins would be 21trillion and it would be issued in the ratio of 1:1000.I hope that by this time,it would be now available for trading.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people buying Ripple? on: January 14, 2018, 12:16:53 PM
  • it is explicitly (or at least formerly) not considered a currency
  • it is centralized (the company can freeze accounts if it wants, create more coins, or be sued)
  • it's major use case is for inter-bank transfers. So if Bank A and Bank B was to exchange currency x for y, they will use XRP in-between. But this gives no value to the currency itself, it is just used as an intermediary. Is it conceivable that Ripple the company will not have enough XRP for these internal bank transfers and they are going to have to buy them back from the public??

So it seems that XRP has no value outside its use by the company Ripple. Is anyone actually using it for commerce or any other reason? It is not considered a store of value like bitcoin (in any case one would want something decentralized.
Yes. You are absolutely right. Ripple is just used for exchange between banks and it is the only reason for increase in its marketcap. It is totally centralized which is opposite to the concept of decentralized currencies.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ETH are Shitcoins on: January 14, 2018, 12:00:29 PM
If you say bitcoin and ethereum itself as shin coins, then I don't know what would you say about other altcoins which were mostly termed as shin coins. It's true that transaction fee is high in bitcoin now, but when LN gets activated, it would get solved. Ethereum is the only altcoin next to bitcoin which performs well and is older coin.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchanges? What exchanges do you use? on: January 13, 2018, 05:45:36 PM
I already use Binance, but they dont have every coin im interested in buying

Im curious what exchanges you use and what are your personal experiences with them

I also wonder if there is an exchange that doesnt have long waits for transactions? I understand that cryptos are booming right now and the recent flood of new users and transactions are making exchanges slow.. but im wondering if there is any way around it.

I have used poloniex, bittrex exchanges which have much user friendly interface.

But bittrex exchange seems to have banned thousands of accounts of its users recently and it is said that it don't even respond to its users queries regarding such a ban.

Poloniex exchange is also said to have slow communication with users nowadays.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Electrum wallet users upgrade it immediately or you may lose your bitcoins on: January 13, 2018, 05:37:47 PM
Newb question: How do I upgrade without opening electrum to export my private keys (on Mac)? Is there a way to upgrade without opening old Electrum while not losing my keys? Thanks
I don't know about upgrading in mac.But in windows,i just downloaded the electrum wallet of 3.0.5 version and it got updated automatically showing my bitcoin balance.Remember to download 3.0.5 version and not the other versions as they are termed not to be safe.Download only from the official website Electrum.org.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global Markets eye India, as a good option for Crypto Mining on: January 13, 2018, 05:33:28 PM
Already, indian government is totally confused about whether to legalize bitcoin or to ban it.The future of bitcoin users is not clear there. So,i don't think that india would be suitable for crypto mining.More over, electricity price is not that much cheap in india when compared to china or kuwait. Also,if government suddenly takes a stand against bitcoin, then every thing would go waste.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (Cash) > Bitcoin Legacy on: January 13, 2018, 01:42:49 PM
Sorry sir, what you try to say here ? your post tittle sound confusing, and i allready read that bitcoin whitepaper long time ago when im still in highschool

I dont even try to read the whitepaper but i have felt that bitcoin is the best one.
However i also confuse what the op try to say.

Try to do a 15$ transaction with BTC, then try to do a 15$ transaction with BCH. After this experiment you will no longer feel Bitcoin is the best one but a doomed non-currency.
Only low transaction fee does not make a coin legacy.BCH has nothing to deliver except providing low transaction fee. It's a centralized coin created by roger ver and its pumped regularly. If we have to chose a coin other than bitcoin for just low fee transactions, then i hope there are lots of alcoins better than bcash which provide  very fast transactions at very low fee.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Support is out of order! on: January 12, 2018, 11:29:39 PM
For the  past few months, bittrex users are suffering.Already thousands of accounts have been banned and bittrex don't even respond to support tickets. It was previously a well reputed exchange providing newly released coins and by this way, providing more options for the investors.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 11, 2018, 05:48:45 PM
Earlier bouty was found to be the best way for earning tokens but nowadays, air drop seems to be the most easiest way for earning tokens as we could earn tokens in airdrop by just holding bitcoins in our wallet. What makes the difference is that the token got by air drop should be worth and not just a shitcoin.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) to the moon? on: January 11, 2018, 05:35:25 PM
Its marketcap has increased mainly due to the support of banks and already its said earlier that ripple has been backed by banks as a competition to bitcoin.I think that its price is also pumped a little and only providing transactions at low fee would not continuously attract investors who mainly expect high returns on their investments.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a fluctuating value !! on: January 05, 2018, 03:32:25 PM
it will grow up and sometime it will crush your money. looking for healthy public  opinion
Its mainly due to the decentralized nature of bitcoin having no central authority to control it and it being solely dependent upon the demand for its price. But the good thing is that bitcoin price has upward fluctuation and not downward. So,it settles down every time much above its previous lower price.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Losing Relevance? Dominance at All Time Low on: January 04, 2018, 07:48:52 AM
Bitcoin's dominance (coinmarketcap.com) is at an all time low now - 33%.

Bitcoin transactions are slow and expensive. Other altcoins offer much better features.

People are slowly moving money from Bitcoin to altcoins.

Is bitcoin losing its relevance?

People say Bitcoin can still be used as store of value, but is there any value in an asset if it has no utility?

What "much better features" are you talking about?I don`t know about any altcoin that is better than btc.
If some altcoin was really better than bitcoin,it would be the new crypto leader with the biggest market cap.
Don`t compare btc with all the other altcoins combined.Compare it with every separate altcoin.
Right now,the blockchain is stuck and btc transactions are expensive. That`s why most crypto users switch to altcoins.

Valid points. No particular altcoin has a high share as bitcoin. Some people may switch to altcoins to just make some extra profits. But it's temporary. Transaction issue is also a temporary one. Once Ln gets activated, it would get solved.Bitcoin has already faced many big issues and has survived. This issue would only be used by FUD spreaders to give negative publicity to bitcoin. We should also take in to consideration that lots of new altcoins get introduced day by day and they just share bitcoin's market cap.

118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: December 17, 2017, 11:35:26 PM
actually i want to know there is a possibility have to hack this supper e-money, because somebody hack it will be a huge effect for the economy.
pls give your valuable opinion. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad
No.Unless the user reveals his wallet's private key publicly and any one stores his bitcoins in exchanges, bitcoins could not be hacked. If hacking would had been possible, then there would be no bitcoins remaining in any one's wallet.Since already bitcoin exchanges like mt.gox have been hacked alread, bitcoins should not be stored in exchanges.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are Bitcoin investors convincing themselves that there are only 21 Million ? on: December 17, 2017, 11:30:57 PM
Yes.What you have said is correct. No need to get FOMO.Even if whole bitcoin is not available, still satoshis are available which would be much valuable after 21 million coins gets mined. This is the major fact which even newbies miss out when hearing for the first time about bitcoin and saying that they would not be able to afford to buy such a high priced bitcoin. So,as per your opinion, don't get worried since you would have atleast valuable satoshis to invest.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is a peace of shit on: December 17, 2017, 11:20:31 PM
I don't know which of the wallet you downloaded.Bitcoin wallets are easily downloadable and i have not found any syncing issues. You could try Electrum. Its true that its said that quantum computers might be a threat o bitcoin.but it may take almost twenty more years for quantum computers to get introduced and we have ample of time to make it quantum proof.Gold is an asset which is stored by many countries as reserve and we could not compare bitcoin with it.Bitcoin could not be completely banned unless internet gets banned. So its practically not possible to completely ban bitcoin.
