They will not restart their mining operation on those old asics.

Propably they have sold them already, leaving investors with left with hope.

This is the main reason so many people left them.

You do realise they never owned any hardware right? nothing to sell.

Hello all,

can anyone tell me how I go about changing my "locked" withdrawl address for Scrypt.cc? The wallet address that is there is no longer active/in use and I need to change it to a different one that I do still use but since it is "locked" I can't find out how I can unlock it so that I can put in a wallet that still exists. Anyone have any clue how I can do this?

Thank you in advance for any useful help.

AJ Morin

Sorry bud, hate to be the one to tell you this but you are up shit creek without a paddle.

Are debates here still going on 24/7?

There is no reason for a debate. It's a scam. Done.
Even the shills are now quiet.

Including you?

...its not safe to deposit or withdraw

It is always safe. Nothing can be lost.
It's only delayed. And withdraw work without any problems.

Fraudulent Misreprentation
Under contract law, a plaintiff can recover against a defendant on the grounds of fraudulent misrepresentation if (1) a representation was made; (2) that was false; (3) that when made, the representation was known to be false or made recklessly without knowledge of its truth; (4) that it was made with the intention that the plaintiff rely on it; (5) that the plaintiff did rely on it; and (6) that the plaintiff suffered damages as a result.

PSA: scrypt.cc is a scam, most likely of the "ponzi" variety. You will lose your money if you try to "invest" or "play" or whatever you want to call your participation in this shitshow. You've been warned.

same thing happen to my account. stock on queue for 2 weeks and counting.

Stop counting, move on, it's all over.

I would call that assessment premature.  I'm not saying that it is likely rewards will increase or anything will be fixed anytime soon  (or at all)  BUT.

There have been over 35 Btc deposited since the last payout and they are still in the hot wallet. There is also an additional 16 Btc in the original pre-hack hot wallet.

The schedule is not regular but every 2 weeks or so the hot wallet is cleared and payouts of small amounts are made. For those with money still trapped there is still hope to recover some.

DO NOT MAKE ANY NEW DEPOSITS.
-If you are Willing to take the loss you can sell your MHS
-Otherwise set autobuy to a very low value of 100 sats
-Set withdraws for 0.01 Btc or less and keep queueing them up.

This technique is slowly helping some pull funds out,  avoid large withdrawals and eat the fees for multiple small.  Chances are the next time they clear the hot wallet you will at least get your queued withdrawals. I WOULD NOT EXPECT TO RECOVER ALL DEPOSITED FUNDS US ING THIS METHOD.

This isn't guaranteed but has been working for many and any Btc you get out of the hands of these tools is better than leaving it to them.

P.S. In the interests of pulling as much BTC away from this scam as possible those posting the PSA announcements might  want to consider adding this method to their posts.

Oh so you think that a withdrawal of 0.003 being in the queue for more than a month , means that the site still working?
Don't make me laugh, its dead. The sooner people either hunt the fucker down or walk away the better. But wasting time trying to withdraw dust is just not cost effective is it?
You could probably make more BTC by spending your time clicking faucets, rather than wasting it trying to get your money back out of that shitshow, and in my opinion faucets are a pointless waste of effort too.

Marcelo, come on, bring the happy old days.

You cannot bring the bitcoins in the grave or hell.

Would you be stupid enough to re invest there if he did?

There are no rewards, just punishments for not reading the PSA

Undoubtedly it is .. there's many decent looking, total BS sites up right now, taking money from greedy little idiots.

I wonder .. after tonight, now many people still think TheCleanGame is still a good guy.  If he isn't Admin, he def gives him head regularly.  Can you believe he actually asked for personal loans from his IRC fan club while his boyfriend was stealing all their money!?

We going to find these m*f*ers.

Can you move this amount from your wallet to another?

He clearly already has his bitcoins, he just looked at the wrong address on the blockchain in the first place.

Ponzi Schemes are Illegal in the US, most other countries don't have much in the way of laws considering these types of things,

I think you will find there are many countries that consider this kind of financial fraud criminal and have drawn up laws to deal with it.

EVERY SINGLE USER WHO HAS LOST MONEY TO SCRYPT.CC IS ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND

Really? I don't think so! What about "every single user" who earned money in scrypt.cc?
There are always winners and loosers in ponzis.

And stop call scrypt a "criminal operation". It's just a ponzi site like many thousands others. No one in the world believed this was a real mining company. If you did...then it's like believe in flying horses, you are just entitled to loose more money.

Ponzis are one of the best thing bitcoin bring in, they should be protected.
Without ponzis and gambling Bitcoin could die in a minute!

You do realise that Ponzi schemes are illegal, are fraudulent and therefore criminal?

So please, let's keep calling it a criminal operation, as that is what it is.
120  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Bitcoin Exchange (Official Thread)*** on: September 18, 2015, 02:49:20 PM
I think cex assume it stands for input/output, but in fact it actually relates to the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean, and technically belongs to the Chagossians. Who I might add get no payment for the use of their islands domain suffix as they have been forced to leave the Island. This was done by the United Kingdom and consequently rented to the USA for their military usage.

Quote
Mauritius might win its sovereignty dispute with the U.K. over the Chagos Islands. If that happens, the ownership of .io rights would probably be up in the air.

Many .io owners recognise this unfairness and have offered charitable donations to Chagossians, I wonder if Cex will?
