This coin is going to be really rough on the 1 CPU owners. No non-client miner so no pools. =/

Looks like it's going to take 2-3 days for that first block to mature.

 

At about 120 on my i5 3.2 GHz 4 core. Looks like it might average out the hash rate in 10-30 minutes.

I got it. The support guy said to look at the funds page and it will get credited 1 minute after that.

Hm.. is it just me or is the difficulty not adjusting high enough for the current hash rate?

If you go back to N value of 1 it's something like 83 Ghash on the network right now and we're only at a diff of 0.933. That's an insane amount of hash rate for a scrypt based coin.

Oooh. Pretty. The vaginacoin really stands out. 

I'm holding out till it gets to at least 1/4 of what LTC is. I just invested the most I ever have in an alt coin today as well.

Noticed the manual transaction fee was lowered considerably. I am back now.

I've noticed the same strange behavior after turning off a bitcoin miner. Rebooting usually fixes that.
 

Watching this.

Just mining and watching the bitcoin rollercoaster.   

During the 1 hour or so of mining with ~230khash I got 3 blocks.

I think I got it. I removed all the port numbers from all my config files a week ago so the clients would just use the port it wants use.

Process monitor says that namcoin-qt wants to use port 8334 as the comm port. I had it set as my rpcport in the config file.
