Sadly, new money really does change some people for the worse. He's a young kid. Maybe he'll learn some humility and professionalism when he grows up a bit more.

Not sure if he ever had to work for his own money...
102  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rig died : need help with autopsy :) on: July 30, 2013, 06:26:11 PM
How do I find out if the PSU is damaged ? Is there a test to run ?

Plug the PSU in, take an isolated wire and put one end where the green wire ends at the MB connector from the PSU and the other end where a black wire ends. The PSU should run if nothing is wrong with it (fan spinning).

Sometimes it also helps to take the MB out of the case (if you use one ?)

I'm making it my mission to get all the hashing power I can and boycott this cocky pool.

Cheesy hashpower... separates the men from the boys !

111  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC seized by EU , european & german Customs on: July 02, 2013, 05:25:33 PM
The main reason why it got a suspect by the customs: they included a american power cord in the package! Holy moly what would've happend if the user used that cable? USA(120volt)(germany 230volt)

There's a reason the plug won't fit. Roll Eyes Not too long ago miners had to have some basic knowledge to run their stuff...
112  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC seized by EU , european & german Customs on: July 02, 2013, 05:11:01 PM
Even in non-EU states(like Switzerland)!

Never had troubles with Swiss customs. And as a HAM I shouldn't have problems to import hardware without CE sign.
113  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BitMinter says 0Mhps ... Why? on: July 01, 2013, 04:57:52 PM
I'm not sure this is the issue since i'm not getting question marks, and i'm seeing the 0mhps with a fresh login...

Low hashrate ?

I'm also shocked you did not tell him to fuck off as just about all of us would have done.

He's now mining for deepbit... Cheesy They will make him rich. It's ridiculous to argue about $3 !

Edit: I looked in my email pending queue and see an email from a G Lukacs on June 3 requesting a fund withdrawal but they didn't include an account name. If that's you can you do a followup including that information, thanks.

Thank you, doublec, for writing back.

My address has already been provided when I created the user "drlukacs2"  and so providing another address did not appear to be necessary. However, for greater clarity, please feel free to feel this address:

118  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BTCMiner - Open Source Bitcoin Miner for ZTEX FPGA Boards, 215 MH/s on LX150 on: June 19, 2013, 05:33:15 PM
Set -oh to 0.7 or higher in the BTCMiner start code. It will then shut down later. I know that S. does not recommend doing this but since it's a clone you should give it a try.

Once the bad chip fails, hit control C, restart and repeat over and over again. If you are lucky it keeps hanging and will then mine fine at a lower frequency.

Sounds like cgminer. Try BTCminer for this one board. Gives you more information when the chip goes out.

Here you go:
