101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: November 29, 2017, 03:16:55 PM
Does anybody know the price of the App when it's official released? And what can we do with our MNE in the App?

Good questions, though I'm not sure as to the answers.

I would hope the app would be free - it would make more sense to give it away in order to promote the MNE coin.

I imagine initially you'd just be able to save it to a wallet and use one of the exchanges, but who knows, maybe their would be in-app purchases for MNE swag. That would be a cool idea, I think.

Where can I find this App, is it already available in the Apple App store? Can't find it ...

Check out the message found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1867535.msg25099905#msg25099905

It looks like you need to email them with your information (AppleID) in order to try out the beta.
103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie about airdrops on: November 28, 2017, 03:19:20 PM
You need to meet a few requirements, gradually and depending on your activity you can make some decent cash

I am jus learning, I was so curisous about the cryptocurrency, so I joined this forums.
I will see how this will process. So the task can be very tough to finish?

It depends. You really just need to spend more time reading the forums - especially the Alt Coin Announcements section. Some airdrops require nothing other than your address, some are a bit more involved. Every project is different. Once you've been around awhile, though, you'll get the hang of what is required. Most, though, do require you to have your account at a certain level - you'll need to increase your activity. Make insightful and constructive posts, though, otherwise they'll just get deleted.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I trade my Bitcoin Cash/Gold for Bitcoin/Altcoins? on: November 27, 2017, 10:27:48 PM
It's a good question. You certainly have the chance to make more investing in alts because of higher percentage swings. That being said, it's very hard to pick a winner. It really depends on how much risk you're willing to take. Maybe do half in btc and half in some alts?
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: November 27, 2017, 08:50:08 PM
Happy to see some actual development. I'll be happy to eat my previous words if the Dev delivers on the app. It's still going to take some real marketing to get any traction going, though. This has been the weak link in the past.

Sorry for taking so long, but I finally had an opportunity to use one of the codes that I purchased. Worked like a charm.

Besides the code working, as I mentioned previously, the transaction was super smooth and the seller was very easy to work with. Highly recommended.
107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GDAX trading problems on: November 22, 2017, 04:36:19 PM
You can't buy btc with btc, that doesn't make any sense as there's no actual trade going on. They're expecting you to pay with USD for the particular transaction you're making.

From that screenshot, you already have 0.025 btc and you're trying to use it to buy 0.025 btc. Sort of like buying $5 with $5. There's really no point. If you're trying to buy 0.025 more btc, you'll need to deposit some other form of payment like USD.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: November 21, 2017, 05:25:19 PM
For some reason, the second project of the developer has not yet received such a popularity as the first. Perhaps this is only a matter of time.

More than likely it's because of his gross mishandling of MNE. With a track record like this - never updating and no transparency - who would expect ARTE to do any better?
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone still believe in ETN? (Electroneum) on: November 21, 2017, 03:24:32 PM
Sorry, it seemed like an interesting idea, but I have no reason to believe in this project anymore.

I'll be shocked if it ever even gets off the ground at this point. It would take a lot to recover from the mess they've made.
110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need investment Advice on: November 21, 2017, 01:20:29 PM
Up to this point, I've never invested in an ICO - I've done fine with airdrops and signature campaigns. Still, it is tempting to get in at a cheap price and see if you hit a winner. I've started researching things a bit to see if there's any coming up that look interesting. I'm considering investing a little bit in Bankera: https://bankera.com/

Still haven't decided whether or not to pull the trigger, but I'm leaning towards it at the moment.

Either way, though, as has been mentioned ad naseum, your best bet is to do you own research since you're investing you own money.
111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe to put Bit Coin in an IRA for retirement? on: November 20, 2017, 01:19:55 PM
Yeah, I looked into that as well - I think BitcoinIRA was the one I was looking at. The thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was mentioned by a previous poster. At least for that one, there's a 15% up front fee as well as yearly maintenance fees (having trouble finding specifics on those).

Instead, I'm taking retirement money and just buying btc directly along with other alts. We'll see if it pays off, but I didn't have a ton in my 401k to invest anyways.
112  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Newegg gift cards at 65% for BLACK FRIDAY on: November 17, 2017, 07:27:39 PM
How are these obtained?

If it's not blackhat, I'd be very interested in some. Please send me a PM.

Thanks
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever invested in an ICO? on: November 16, 2017, 07:27:35 PM
No, and I don't think I ever will. Unless I see something that really just blows my mind, I'm quite content to participate in sig campaigns, airdrops, and do a little trading on the side.

114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Artemine- First Self Mining Smart Contract 2.0 on: November 16, 2017, 03:10:44 PM
Does anybody know of a 18 or 20 decimal calculator?

No calculator I own goes to 18 fucking decimal.

I can't tell if I have 4.8 ARTE available or 48 arte or 480 arte.??

I have a 37,000 arte genesis address.  This is how I have been guessing my balance.  37,000 divided by 60 years =616.666666 divided by 12 months = about 50 arte per month.

Anyone else having issues figuring the exact amount of arte available?

thanks

This calculator seems to be of the precision you need. I did a little testing and it's capable of doing 18 decimal places. Hope that helps.

115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe not to pay miners fee? on: November 15, 2017, 02:26:30 PM
I just tried paying a $1 fee on about $130 in btc yesterday and it still hasn't been confirmed. I'm not in any rush, but I didn't feel like paying $10 or so. We'll see if it actually gets confirmed or not. At least btc has gone up in price while it's been sitting there.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 09:22:28 PM
Very happy with the trading volume today.

This might be something I missed - sorry if it's already been addressed - but how did this coin end up on hitbtc so quickly? I have other alts that are much older and haven't gotten on that big of an exchange. Did we pay up or did they pick us up? Impressed either way.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: November 14, 2017, 01:33:07 PM
After a few days, I come back and look at the posts and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the stupidity going on here. I don't know Musclepump from Adam and my post was my own thoughts. Whatever, though, I've got actual investments to focus on.

I'm glad the Dev posted an update - very out of character for him - but MiBambino hit the nail on the head. The Dev may not be a scammer, but he and his team have no idea how to run a business. Best of luck with the app - even if it gets past the beta stage, I'll be shocked to see it get past 5,000 downloads.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOURCHAIN - Let's Make RChain YOURS Again! on: November 13, 2017, 03:04:56 PM
Gotta admit, I'm stoked about this one. Looking to forward to the coin swap and thanks to the Dev for his hard work.

Any sort of time frame for the swap that we're looking at?
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 18 of 40 🚀 New Rules on: November 10, 2017, 03:49:14 PM
I have been seeing this airdrop but I have not been able to participate. Whenever I what to add the signature it will show error. Somebody help please.

Are you using the correct signature for your rank? If you try to use one of the higher ones, it will have too many characters.

What does the error say specifically?
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: November 09, 2017, 01:11:59 PM
God, what a shit show.

I've got two Minereum genesis addresses (shame on me, I signed up twice) and I'm shocked by the amount of support the dev is still getting. Yes, I'd love for this coin to 'go to the moon' but besides possibly holding a ton of genesis addresses, the Dev has consistently shown that he's not interested in updating investors or transparency.

Maybe the world app comes to fruition, but even if it does, it could be the coolest app in the world and if the Dev continues to proceed the way he has in the past, it will fail miserably. The marketing and communication is lacking considerably. Just a weekly update or two would've kept this coin from dropping as precipitously as it has.

I guess people are just blinded by greed and emotion. Just my two cents.
