I have a question.
What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?
I would like to hear some advice. What are pros & cons of each option?
Thanks
If you got something like over $100K worth of coins, you should put your coins in a hardware wallet like ledger. If you only got $1000 worth of coins, I would say it is safe to store them on exchanges.

As the industry changes day from day. our views as to what coins will grow in long term seem to change. many thought XRG was it in December, then it was Tron, then people thought less
so anyways your ideas of 5 good coins you think will grow for 2018? Privacy and Alt Coins
I am still thinking NEO. But I like to hear from everyone else. as new ideas help to research other coins.
more feed back the better.
Agree. NEO will definitely grow in this year. The reason is there are more and more projects that are built on NEO platfrom. And Ontology will airdrop tokens to NEO holders. In my opinion, ETHlend is a project you need to look at.

hi all just start investing in ICO what do u all think of the recently upcoming ICO i.e Tomochain, RocketICO and GCOX think this 3 is promising. what do u all think? can share your view with me?
Tomocoin is definitely a very interesting project. It is a smart contract platform project with a relatively low hard cap. Its telegram is very active and its team is good. I would say tomo is the best out of these three you mentioned.

No one can tell you what is the most profitable altcoin to invest. However, I would say it is better for you to invest in ICOs rather than trying to find a good altcoin to invest in. ICOs are super profitable if you know how to pick the right one.

Now that I had predicted yesterday that litecoin will go up past 200, Expect a crash in price today. Due to Chinese new year and since everything has been going up for past 3 days, another crash is expected today as people will be cashing out.
Agree. Any coin that goes up in a big way will be dumped soon after its pump. That is just the nature of the market. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.

Pool investing is a good idea only if you know how to avoid scams. Often times, pool investing sites are scams. However, I came across a smart contract based pool investing site recently. https://www.primablock.com/ I haven't used it before, but I think it might be safe.

What is the safest way to log MEW among of these? 1.Keystone File 2.Private Key 3.Connecting Metamask.
Connecting Metamask is the safest way to do so. In this way, you don't need to worry about losing your private key. You will be safe from these phishing scams if you use MEW with Metamask.

1. The ICO project should have a huge potential. 2. The percentage of tokens allocated to bounty should be higher than at least 2%. 3. The period should be reasonable, say, 1 month or 2 months.

In my opinion, ETH will dethrone BTC in this particular year. The reason is that BTC is too heavy to move due to conflict of interest and stuff. However, ETH's team and community are working together to make ETH a better project everyday.

All the crypto world needs is an education to create better awareness and investments. What do you think are ways to go about it, apart from various conferences and meets.
I think what the crypto world needs is simply a killer app. It could be cryptokitties with much higher throughput. It can also be a decentralized p2p lending platform like ETHlend.

Waves, compared to other new platform projects, is not worth holding, in my opinion. The upside is small, but the downside can be very large. I recommend you to sell your waves to buy NEO or even ADA.

I wouldn't expect NEO's price increase much simply due to ICOs, because most of the ICOs only accept ETH. However, I recommend you to buy NEO now since Ontology will airdrop its tokens to NEO holders. Ontology is one of the most hyped projects in 2018, so you don't want to miss it.

I will put 70% in crypto. Out of this 700K USD, 50% of it will be invested in Ethereum. I will put 20% of it in low cap projects like ETHlend, Wabi, and so on. The 30% left will be invested in ICOs, which can be very risky and rewarding at the same time.

Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous. Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose. This is so far removed from satoshi's vision. Premine bullshit scams like onion. Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype. We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.
The sad thing is the crash is not going to wash away these scams and shitcoins. Even shitcoins got a lot of hodlers, you know. However, I do believe this market will be more mature in the following years.

I would recommend LEND and DICE. ETHlend and Etheroll are two projects with working products. UI/UX updates for these two projects are incoming in following weeks. So the potential of these two projects is huge.

Crypto means potential, freedom, and future for me. It has great potential since the blockchain technology behind it is very promising. It means freedom, because it banks the unbanked.

I'm going to buy this: 1. BTC - 10% 2. ETH - 30% 3. ETHlend - 20% 4. Nuls - 20% 5. DICE - 20%
I really think ETHLEND, NULS and DICE have huge potential in the short term.

So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?
Thanks
If you have a normal job, I would recommend you to trade less frequently and hold some undervalued coins for long term. If you have tons of free time, you can definitely try the day trading type of life. However, you have a lot to learn before jumping into day trading, which is risky.

Thank you for sharing. I am wondering whether this telegram channel will stay free for early adopters or not. I would say the logo design is pretty neat.

There are actually some tokens designed to be stable. For example, DAI, Tether, BITCNY, BITUSD and so on. I would say Tether is pretty scammy, so you should stay away from it.
