441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: July 11, 2017, 01:48:38 PM
It definitely can be a threat to BTC. Checkout all the news about different countries's attempt to utilize Ethereum's model to develop their own digital currency.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is altcoin under rated? on: July 11, 2017, 01:46:21 PM
Just like bitcoin is under-priced several years ago, some altcoins with huge potential are under rated right now. The problem is nobody clearly know which one is the next Ethereum.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - the scam is being pumped hard now don't fall for the trap on: July 11, 2017, 01:40:50 PM
The short term price change should be irrelevant when its long term potential is high. IOTA still has problems and when these problems are cleared, IOTA will be heading to the moon.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex.com gona delist LTC !!! on: July 11, 2017, 01:38:12 PM
Definitely a clickbait. Should be more careful in posting next time.

446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is happening in cryptocurrency world ? on: July 11, 2017, 01:32:40 PM
By the way, if one still has some fiat cash to invest, I would say it is the right time to catch the potential bottom.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is happening in cryptocurrency world ? on: July 11, 2017, 01:30:35 PM
A panic period. Panic chain reaction and so on.   Wink Everything is still the same, except the faith on cryptos changes a bit.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ♬ Opus - Beta-Ready Decentralized Music Sharing; Running on IPFS and ETH ♬ on: July 11, 2017, 12:42:56 PM
Joined the bounty campaign. Question: how does this project compare with other music related projects such as Voise, MUSE, etc?

To answer the Voise question I will quote my previous answer

Voise VSM recently had their ICO and it is quite a success they are also a decentralized music streaming/sharing platform,

What could be the difference/advantages of Opus to them and other music related crypto?

Sorry to say this, but to call Voise VSM a decentralized music sharing platform is completely incorrect; They they store everything on their central server.

1.Voise raised their money with no product.
Opus is 3 steps ahead. We raised a round of VC funding this January, and now we have a working beta and a demonstrable product.

2. Voise, Is simply a coin that can only be used on their website. That's it
Opus is an entire music sharing infrastructure. We use IPFS and Ethereum such that all songs and metadata data are stored decentrally and rapidly on the IPFS swarm and Ethereum.
We are also going to release APIs for third party player developers to create their own Opus players, ensuring decentralize in every aspect of the stack.

If you have more questions regarding the technical development, check our Github or ask us on our slack: http://slack.opus-foundation.org/

As for Muse, I'm not too familiar with the technical details but it appears what they are doing is kind of a registry (Think ISNB) where artists can register their music. We are a music service platform including storage of music tracks and value stransfer.
Actually we are already planning a system similar to Muse's (UMRN) where artists can register their music.  You can read more about this in our whitepaper. http://opus-foundation.org/whitepaper.pdf

I was very excited to see this item because I was a Chinese, and the cto of my project was also a Chinese, which made me very happy. Smiley

Haha, so you were chinese? What happened. Anyways we plan to use this to our advantage and expand into the fresh chinese market (Which doesn't have a streaming service like Spotify right now)
Thank you for the detailed answer. After browsing the whitepaper, I find that this is definitely a project with huge potential.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If all the FUD is about Bitcoin split, why Altcoins are falling? lol on: July 11, 2017, 12:32:03 PM
Isn't it should be other way around?
It should be the other way around but there are various reasons why altcoins are falling too. Probably the main reason many altcoins are falling too because in anticipation of bitcoin split, many people are selling their altcoin stash, converts it into bitcoin and convert it into fiat to secure money.
Agree. Basically some people are cashing out to reduce the pressure induced by holding altcoins.

451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to solve the ICO and shitcoins madness? on: July 10, 2017, 05:21:50 PM
I think most new altcoins which are still using a Qt-wallet (blackcoin version) will be dead. They are just too scammy and without potential real world applications.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to calculate profit? on: July 10, 2017, 05:18:10 PM
The price is not the only factor to consider when you invest in cryptos. You need to look at the total supply of coins. For example, Byteball is more expansive then Eth right now, but its market cap is way smaller than Eth, due to the total number of coins is smaller.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CREVA COIN? on: July 10, 2017, 05:15:31 PM
Stay away from Yobit is a good idea. So many coins on Yobit are dead.

I would say AdEx is a promising project. https://www.adex.network/
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Coins Dump? on: July 10, 2017, 05:11:28 PM
FYI: Etheroll holds strong when the majority of Altcoins are dumped very hard. Nonetheless, this bloodshed will end one day and only the strong will survive.

457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: July 10, 2017, 04:57:30 PM
It is hard to find successful airdrops like Byteball nowadays. What a pity!
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Byteball Price blew my mind!! Guess how Much? on: July 10, 2017, 04:56:01 PM
Byteballs are dumped so hard after the airdrop yesterday. Still, it is a legit project considering it is totally free.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO to invest this summer ? on: July 10, 2017, 04:53:33 PM
Buy EOS when it is under 0.8 dollars if possible. And Agrello seems to be an interesting project. https://www.smithandcrown.com/sale/agrello/
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Strat so low? Will it go back up? on: July 10, 2017, 04:51:48 PM
Stratis is still overpriced even today. Its smart contract is still not available yet when other strong Eth contenders have arrived.
