A lot of my time i already divided up into future projects. While a lot of you watched, two people literally took a shit on your investment. All i can do is develop and produce, with some promotion, however , if you do not ask the exchanges to honor your shares in the next chain , i become a single voice with very little effect. If you would like to see NRS 2.0 on other exchanges, please speak up.
THE WALLET STAYS AS IS UNTIL NEW YEARS, unless you want me to throw in a plain (no effects ) wallet. Meantime i am working on something else that will actually benefit NRS holders.

If you don't want complicated stuff just go for GPU hard algorithms, while not completely CPU only, the GPU advantage is quite small.
The current version I use was developed by Dan, Freetrade and modified by a gpu miner dev. Even with CPU mining , it effectively relies more on luck than processor power.
when usually I read "modified by a gpu miner dev" (to make it gpu hard), I always think "yeah right... good one..." Anyhow, you probably made a gpu dev very happy (well... keeping in mind that the last time at look at noirshares, there was 25% gpu dev fee... may-be he just doesn't care, he always raped the coins no matter what... ) So who else would be expected to know how to code against gpu implementation? Also YOU ARE A LIAR , there was never a mining fee for NRS.

You mean Botnet only mining ? No i think you mean everyone mines with CPU while only 4 guys mine with GPU.
Is it a requirement for someone who develops a gpu miner to release it to the public without profit? I encourage people to develop and sell their code. Much like what happened with PTS. Other than that, go my way, I keep making changes that render GPU mining inefficient.

I'm still on it, the new NoirShares uses modified Momentum PoW algorithm which is currently CPU only.
If you are planning an alt I would recommend either of the three versions of momentum : Memorycoin , NoirShares & ProtoShares
If you do protoshares or NoirShares, maybe put some merged mining so people can maximise profits.

Of course, yes listen to the uninvested.
Everyone else, just give it a bit of time. There'll be a soft update soon.

i still dont understand why you fuck NRS 1.0 to create NRS 2.0 - at the start i thought you wanted it CPU only ,. now your plan is it make it GPU minerable ...... NRS 1.0 was already minable and working, all you have done is kill the price
NRS and NRB were merged to reduce the workload of maintaining 2 chains whose purpose is similar. NRB holders were suffering lack of attention because I had made a commitment to NRS , it's really simple logic. Instead of constant release of new coins, mergers actually provide solutions to most problems in the alternative crypto space. Combined with the benefits of focusing on this one, it is a no brainer Please do tell where this mythical GPU miner is. There isn't even an external miner. Sheesh, where do you people come up with this crap??? Oh and BTW my promise to maintain CPU only as long as possible is kept in tact. I'll thank you to get some facts before throwing statements like you just did, it's annoying and frankly I'm done taking crap from backseat drivers and armchair generals.

Now seems that everything works fine... Barwizi can you create a new ALL-IN wallet and update the 1st thread? I will try to create a clear OP What do you mean by All in wallet? BTW , note that I am still working on the lotto issues.

So this is what I've witnessed: a) Barwizi releases a source wallet on github that gets to block 39 and gets stuck, because of a checkpoint that was sent out on the network prematurely for checkpoint on block 128 which stalls the client. b) Blackxx1977 re-releases a Windows-only binary, and a pre-downloadable blockchain c) Barwizi accepts Blackxx1977's Windows-only binary and pre-downloadable blockchain as being official d) Barwizi re-releases new blocks.zip github.com/NoirX/NoirShares/commit/060ffb0d2ea248372c50a1cdaed2e404c2c2fb38 Once again, we have no block explorer to confirm the official chain the entire time. The current miners on this very bizarre way of releasing this wallet and so happy that they're mining with low difficulty that there is no real concern to release this wallet like very other crypto wallet and just fix the bugs and re-launch the coin. If you want a premine, then put in a premine. Don't release this odd ball wallet this way, shutting out people who want to compile source and have blocks verified the traditional way (without having to pre-download and install the first part of the chain). There aren't any mining pools up, nothing. To be honest, this is worse than a premine. I do not consider this chain official even if Barwizi and Blackxx1977 say it is.. I think this is a failed launch, and it's illegitimate. The 5 or 10 people that are mining this way based this way, I hope you enjoy your coins. Maybe you can trade them with each other on Poloniex. Suit yourself. I see huge gaps in your reasoning. First off , the wallet was built by me and can be downloaded from the git. All he did was provide another place to download from. I am not mining, which is why I told everyone else to mine and get the chain moving. You clearly don't know the purpose of a bloblock explorer if you think it has anything to do with being on the right chain. A block explorer is just a front end of the exact same code u r running so your point is moot. Btw, it's not a launch, it's a chain swap. Use of the word "witnessed" implies you have fact , wheareas you seem to be concluding based off your opinion.... Oh well, to each his own.

Many thanks PM me your address, as soon as I am back, I'll send some coin. Thanks but my wallet does not synchronize...it stopped at block 719... Here you can find my debug log http://ge.tt/api/1/files/8x4yk552/0/blob?downloadWHY YOU CAN'T RESET THE CHAIN? IT WOULD BE THE BEST SOLUTION Connect to anyone and try mining, because unless someone is mining it will jus stay on the same block 719 is the best height until someone mines 720

4 active connections, stuck on block 719 Are you mining? Why do you say it's stuck? Would be nice if you'd post your debug log.

Try the one labelled blocks.7z
I just uploaded it to the git.
Everyone trying to connect, READ MY POSTS in full. blackxx1977 has been posting addresses but it would go faster if you would share your own as well instead of just relying on one man.
It's a network when you connect to each other , if you all just rely on the one or two addresses, it dies the moment they go offline , sheesh.
Post to address and people will try connect to you in the same way you will try connect to them.

Cannot find this blocks.zip file. PLS anyone provide link ?
It's right there in the folder.

I have 0 connections too. And welcome back welcome back Barwizi, please provide to us a working link for windows/linux version.
I did everything but I have 0 active connections... maybe I need to add some nodes?
thanks!
Hello!! How about you both share your own IP addresses and connect to each other , then everyone else will simply add their own IP to the list. For now the IP I am using is not publicly accessible.

Abandoned what exactly?
We had 4 test runs that failed at some point due to complications in the code and two early attacks. That prompted me to disappear from public so I could make a viable product
So....
Download from the git
Then
Windows:
Unzip release.txt unzip blocks.zip
Copy the contents of blocks.zip into your NoirShares data folder -- this is usually in Appdata/Roaming
Start the app
Linux : Compile from source
Unzip and copy contents of blocks.zip to .NoirShares
Ensure that shares.txt and shares2.txt are in your NoirShares folder
Run the App
Sorry for the wait, but I have tried to exhaust as many tests as I could and I found that the structure of the checkpoint system in this case requires at least one a month and every update should be accompanied by a compressed copy of the chain to ensure sanity.
GF members, i'll need your addresses so I can send some coin.
I committed to seeing this project through to a success, you never need worry that I'll abandon it.
For now I have only the one node so we need to build up a network
Dear Mr. Barwizi, I am waiting for wallet for window 7 32bit. please guide when/where to get ..... Please see the very accurate above response. seeing as how the PoW is really only viable on a x64 machine, I did not even bother to test on a x86. Even now the miner performance is low , I am hoping we can attract one of the gpu miner devs to create a more effective miner.

Yes. To average user, Apple Pay and crypto is same thing. Except Apple Pay is by Apple so it must be innovative, right?
Seriously dudes, expecting Apple consumers to know what they're talking about is a pipe dream.
Nope, it didn't even make it into the pipe
