I myself don't understand about that either so I can't explain the purpose of it and it's better to wait patiently who really understands about it, the most important thing is to keep an eye on it How longer u mine how more historical shares you get, those historical shares results in an % from the blocks what get found. I think u can compare it with PPLNS (not 100% the same, but the idea/result is the same). Like on Historical Shares and PPLNS = how longer u mine how beter / stable the rewards are. With PPS its good when u want to do a quick mine. Its not really strange, just the name historical shares sounds strange. |

How can i delete all from grin?
Since i installed this net2.2 and other related Grin software i cant mine any other coins (instant freeze) and cant watch/stream things like Netflix (non stop buffering).
We already found it its all because of this coin and his network related software, only advise i get: reinstall windows 10..
Is there any other solution to get rid of this coins software?? And please, many miners are complaining, add this in a big big warning before people gonna install the (windows xp) software what is needed for this coin. I'm very pissed because of this!
So you mine on your personal machine ?? Next time set a restore point before you install any new software. You may need to run a windows file system repair. I've tried running another miner on my mining rig and it's working fine. And you've rebooted your internet router to make sure it's not a laggy connection ? I deleted my comment, it was because of the setx worksize 1024 command (at least, the mining - computer freeze part, i talked with another mining dev and he say it should be set and not setx like on github..), streaming issues i can not test cause i'm at my office right now. U can try to mine another coin and have fun with ur freezing rig (if u uses the setx command what is advised ) |

Difficult has increased few times from the main net launch on 02.01.2018 /I'm in Bulgaria/. For couple of hours I have 8-9 coins. For 6 hours tonight I have almost 3 coins. This is ridiculous. After 3 months maybe difficult will be the same like ETH!?!
What do you expect when there are 1492 workers on suprnova.cc only. I've quit mining VEIL, this project is not what I've expected and is not because of mining. Good luck with the project and to all miners! This is exactly what i expected: populair = many miners = all a miner can wish. If u want to mine such many coins u can better look at coins where u can mine a few million in 1 day and stuck it in the wallet forever because they will never get on a normall exchange (ofc, there is nobody interested in that project so nobody will waste power on mining = no miners = many coins for you) What u see now on Veil u should see as an positive thing, many (great + legend) people are interested, this are only positive/good signs. If 5 people where mining, i would call that an DOA. Here I agree with you, about mining. But maybe you did miss my "...is not because of mining." Dude, those are testnet coins. Not real, don't worry about sending to a wallet.
They haven't even announced the official start time yet.
So what you are saying is that what i have mined cannot be transferred to the official wallet once released? TESTNET is not the MAINNET this means that u can not withdraw testnet coins to the mainnet wallet TESTNET is pure for testing, but its not running the main blockchain. Or did you tought you was premine the coin?  |

Can I try using the miners for AMD to config my rigs and try mining the coin on test net? I want to join mining immediately when the coin launched, so I want my rigs to be ready as soon as possible. I don’t see why not, hop on our discord if u need any help. That miner is very, very unstable when using multi (different) gpu, however sgminer sucks i hope sgminer will be ready when release because sgminer still owns wildrig in multi gpu's + speeds. |

The team is aiming for January 1, but there's still a good amount of QA going on right now so it may not be a certain date. Andrucrypt from Wildrigs is adding x16rt support and hopefully it will be ready by launch. We'll announce when the AMD miner is ready. Sounds pretty fair to me if you launch when both AMD and NVIDIA miners can start Im mining on suprvova.cc right now with Suprminer 2.0. My GTX 1080 grabbed 2000 Veil in about 12 hours. I just wish i had a wallet to send the coins too. right now i have it set to an 8000 max before auto payout in hopes a wallet will be available soon. as you can also see the note on suprnova.. its in TESTNET mode. @suprnova @ocminer can we keep mining when u switch from test to main? |
