101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to do when price keep dropping ? on: September 17, 2017, 03:48:51 AM
keep calm and just wait til it rises back, nothing good you can get from panicking and just sell immediately, instead of gaining you lose more because your emotions, never let your emotions interfere your trades, they will cause you more trouble in the end, you need to have iron balls, or just divert your attention anywhere else so you wont always see the prices.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: September 10, 2017, 10:05:22 AM
my plan with bitcoin is my first hope, bitcoin still exist and more and more day has high selling value so what i dreamed so far with bitcoin brighter and have big income to fulfill all requirement

Of course all bitcoin users have the same expectation as you about their business in Bitcoin, but it certainly takes effort which is not easy beside accurate planning and supported by knowledge and ability in effort to make it happen.
i certainly agree with you, its because aside from investing you do need a lot of knowledge also so that in case you are not easily panicked by just rumors or any news. you also need to have good learning not only in bitcoin investment but also open to some good potential investments for the future.
103  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Rank and activity update on: September 10, 2017, 05:03:25 AM
sa pagkakaalam ko kahit saang dako ka dito sa forum mag post okay lang, as long as hindi spam at maganda ang quality hindi yung para ka lang nag chat or nag greet. we are here to join discussions hindi para magtroll at mag sabi ng kung ano-ano unrelated sa bitcoin. isa pa may nakalagay na rin sa mga sections na bawal gumawa ng threads at posts na unrelated sa bitcoin. ang update naman sa activities ay once per two weeks, at 14 activities ang nadaragdag sa activity mo.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan the leader of Bitcoin trading on: September 10, 2017, 04:27:20 AM
Hmm, I don't think so Cheesy. In my opinion I think China is the country have biggest trading volume in the world cause Bitcoin industry is very develope in here and you can easily find informations about the biggest bitcoin mining factories in the world, It's being in China Cheesy
well there are many countries in which bitcoin is popular but some countries hold the maximum number of bitcoin, china is on the first of that list as you said, but japan is on his way to gather most of the bitcoin, and as you said about factories, well it is not confirmed yet so kindly don’t run these rumors, and yet japan is doing so well to attain the position first in bitcoin.

China is the hub of miners due to low electricity but the actual owner of the mining farm are from western country, so what ever they are mining they are trading in their respective exchanges. Japan is the trader country where they are just trading the bitcoin and using bitcoin as currency in their country economy
yes well i agree with you, i was just wondering why would china banned all of those cryptos? well i have heard their reasons anyway, we cannot conclude if it is really the real matter, and anyway japan has the population of almost users are traders and as you have said they are using bitcoin as their method of payment in their country, that is the real difference.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: get the same opportunity on: September 09, 2017, 02:28:18 PM
it is not that you are only eager or interested at the beginning or should we say you are just excited at first then onwards you lose interest and sight to what you really came here for, but sometimes you are already satisfied once you have accomplish what you seet goals off such as earning bitcoin, keep in mind that when you first came here what was your intention? Keep motivated and motivating your self.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Dogecoin? on: September 09, 2017, 01:14:39 PM
well i guess in my own point of view, there is no competition between those two coins so far, and if it has I would prefer to have bitcoin than anything else or doge coin as an option. before i have heard so many good feed backs about doge coin, but as the time goes i have also heard the the market supply has also increased that also made me decide to choose bitcoin rather than doge coin aside from it is the first crypto currency.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: only 0.000149 btc on: September 09, 2017, 12:55:30 PM
that amount is not even enough if you would start trading, it will only cover the transaction fee, or maybe the fees are much higher than your current money. so i should suggest that you will save money, work here if you want and then earn bitcoin so you can start something. Goodluck.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: September 09, 2017, 12:12:15 PM
to say it honestly, people are already moving forward to the future, and how the people imagine the future is a bit fascinating, and in order for us to keep up, basic needs should also be upgraded and that is why the main reason why it is created.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING!!! - Shittcoin - How to deal with it? on: September 09, 2017, 07:07:36 AM
What you guys thinking, will there be shittcoin warning list, websites or software informing about shit coins in near future?

Something like blacklist for email spam, IP spam...

Its clear, that it would need regulations to do so, but I wonder myself where all the hype will end, without having something like a shittcoin warning system...

What are your thoughts?

Who would be the people that decide which are shittcoins and why would we trust those people? Every single ICO out there has been called a scam and a shittcoin and worse, the only way to tell is just to research to hell and back before you put any money into anything.
as much as I agree with you, just incase you forget that so many coins before were called to be scam or shit coin but after that what happen? it is only a FUD, and now those who were accused are still on the move in the market. as i strongly believe that you just need to be careful, analyze those backgrounds and anything and don't depend on what other people say, it might be true but not all the time.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 09, 2017, 02:55:09 AM
it would also be a good foundation for some starters, but I am pretty sure that it wouldn't be that easy because you know most schools are related to government, did you think it would be that easy? well i guess its not, but overall it is really a nice idea and for those younger generations to be well informed about what is bitcoin and how does its functionality works.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you hold your coins? on: September 08, 2017, 03:18:40 PM
first you must think on why would you invest to that certain coin or what else you wanted to invest, then the next thing is that, if you are already sure about what you are going to invest then try to risk some little amounts that you can afford to lose. well to tell you the truth either you gain or loss in trading but when you are already well experienced you can risk bigger amounts, and its up to you if you are going to hold it or sell it instantly, just keep in mind that your main goal is to  earn not to lose.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: stable currency on: September 06, 2017, 05:58:51 AM
just be patient there nothing good really comes when you're in a hurry, besides it will really take time, things that are worth it are really worth the wait, and patience is a virtue so lets just be patient. anyway we cannot really figure out how much time it will take, but we already knew it will take us there to the peak.
Diba, napaka imposible. Haha. Kudos!
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people left their full-time employment to go into Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2017, 03:50:01 AM
I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that two of his friends has left their full-time employment to concentrate on their Bitcoin ventures. < One in Crypto currency trading and the other into imports & exports, linked to ecommerce >

In light of the fact that Bitcoin is still experimental and very volatile, would you say that this was a good or a bad decision and would you do the same?

How many people have done this already?
I don't think it is a good decision if you have time to interact on both. I read a post here before stating that their friends to left their job to focus on Bitcoin. But if I were those guys If there is still time to earn double then I will do it in both. But if offline job has lower salary and consume all your time then I have to quit and concentrate on Bitcoin as it gives good ammount of money. It is better to spend more time on earning Bitcoins because it is more volatile and can change someones fortune while in fiat if you are unemployed or even employed few became millionaire by chance and only those who has profession but in Bitcoin if you give all your time earning BTC and save there is a possibility that someday you maybe one of those future millionaires.
as far as i am concern, i cannot agree further if you would surrender your job to pursue bitcoin, but still it is up to the person if what have he decided to do, and if does also affects the factors of his living. in my own analogy in this world, nothing is for sure, that is why we need to risk and we do not know what might be the future outcome but still there are so many possibilities that could happen, your choice might affect what you are in the future.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major Banks Preparing Fiat Backed Crypto on: September 03, 2017, 11:56:43 PM
Since the blockchain technology is open source, Central banks can mint their cryptocurrency and as they are able to print fiat as much as they want their crypto will be backed up one to one. But will their crypto be called decentralized and free from inflation?

http://www.thedailyeconomist.com/2017/09/major-banks-prepare-for-cashless.html
http://bitnewsbot.com/six-more-banks-join-ubs-led-group-seeking-to-develop-blockchain-tokens-backed-by-fiat-currencies/

I think it's a stretch to define such currencies as "cryptocurrencies." Let's look at the commonly accepted definition from Google:

Quote
a digital currency in which encryption techniques are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.

With bank-issued digital currencies, users cannot enforce network rules meaningfully or verify the legitimacy of funds. Bank issuance means centralized, with trusted nodes defining the network rules and history. That means that it's not decentralized, nor trustless, and you can't prevent money printing. It's basically the opposite of what cryptocurrency is, or at least what it was intended to be.
yeah, as much as i agree wih you, it seems that cryptocurrency would be following the laws and rules of the banks if that will happen. it uld also lost its credibility as a decentralized currency or network, and it would sound likely a fixed valued currency or if the worst might happen investors will withdraw their money because of that changes that can lost the interest for most investors.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users on: September 03, 2017, 10:35:24 AM
1. Do not remember electronic wallet password
2. Do not back up your wallet
3. Do not research new services
4. Buy and sell based on feelings
5. Leave your money in the electronic money floor
6. Waste time on faucets (we all did)
7. Collect dust and pay high fees on it
8. Leave coins in an exchange
9. Trust the wrong people and get scammed
10. Panic at a price correction

I laughed on the number 6 because it's trully right. Almost people that still new about bitcoin always feel that number 6 and even do it full time in 1 week. I also have one, people that still new about bitcoin always think they can earn bitcoin easily but in reality it's not easy as you think and you need to work or do something to earn bitcoin.
Do you remember when faucets sent 6000 Satoshi minimum? In a few clicks in a few hours you reached a payout. With high fees anything less than 100000 Satoshi is not worth anything, and with high bitcoin price faucets pay a few Satoshi per click. Now you need a month to get your first payout.
funny but that was also what i did before specially number six. well after i did learn somethings here in the forum, i just did also my own research so further more i have no worries and i didn't encounter so much troubles in terms of investments and trading like most of the people did. i also learned so much from my friends that was being scammed before that is why i never did what they did before.
117  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: How to get my first bitcoin address? on: September 03, 2017, 04:42:27 AM
how to get my first bitcoin address.... can someone tell us how, this may help lots of newbie here.. this maybe the starting point of my career here in bitcointalk... salamat mga master...

Update:

i already got may bitcoin address using coins.ph
118  Economy / Economics / Re: China will become Super Power ? on: September 03, 2017, 03:21:07 AM
i guess they will, considering their adaptation and their improvements, i think they will be one of the most advanced countries in the future. one of the most traits i really admire by their country is that they are always open for any new possibilities as long as it could benefit their country and improve their way of living, they doesn't actually focusing on risks that they made, they did it for purpose.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King in cryptocurrency on: September 02, 2017, 03:16:28 PM
Good idea. I want buy kingburger and use my bitcoin.
better spend your btc for more reasonable aims. Or keep btc in wallet: after few months you'll be able to buy twice more burgers than now.
I think that is not impossible for burger king to offer bitcoin as a payment of their produce because it a very big company already so no wonder if they can buy bitcoin in whatever the price it may be. Unlike other companies don't recognize how great is to use bitcoin in making money of it or in earning coins. It's really good when bitcoin came out in the economy. Only then government must agree everything in bitcoin's benefit in everyone's country. Hope this will be more profitable.
i have heard a lot lately about burger king accepting bitcoin as payment. well actually who really knows, maybe it might be the start for some businesses that they would adapt bitcoin as their payment, not only burger king but i already heard numerous merchants and stores that accepts bitcoin. well actually i never tried buying some at burger king using bitcoin though.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the actual value of Altcoins coming from? on: September 02, 2017, 12:31:52 PM
Alot of it is speculation, but some of it is backing up a project with a real business/future value, some of it also like litecoin, bitcoin and monero/zcash is purely for transferring money and that is not a small business

backing up a project with a real business/future value

Where does that future value come from though? Can you give an example?
What's the endgame here?
it is just like you're asking what should be the next target price or what would be the future prices of those stated above. no one knows about it, and we don't have crystal balls to guess the prices or even we are not psychic to read other peoples mind, it is purely the market and if the trade is ongoing then the market of that specific coin is active, and besides once the dev of that project also announce something that is also a signal or can trigget the market, either up or down.
