new coin X13 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=597634.0Breaking news! We have decided to go with the X13 hashing function instead of X11. X11 has became extremely popular lately which consequently is the reason why it's the new primary target for asic manufacturers. There are concerns that X11 asics are already being developed. However, X13 is more power-efficent, more resistant to asics and has no drawbacks compared to X11. We apologize for any inconvenience this late announcement has caused and hope that all Digit fans support us in this decision. meh. this is the first one. hashrate is growing and growing. all the rest will be in its shadow. Except the fact that its not the first one. Maru was first x13. Boost cloned x11 coin src and copied couple of files from Maru. Thats it. Digit is going with a x13 hashing, but its rather different from all current coins. For me it doesnt really matter if coin is x11 or x13. However the X11 fpgas are reality now. So X13 is indeed more gpu and cpu miners friendly. Couple of files...haha!

followed all the steps but still no success i got only 1.05mhs using 13xmod , but when mining drk i got 2.7mhs using 11xmod miner try using the other miner here. this is what i use.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=475795.0Also don't forget, you will get lower speeds with x13 as there is more processing to do

15 coins every block how does that work out ? i could be wrong but seems like that jumps your premine from 1% to 4%
Finally another one who sees this From my previous post. hey dev do you wish to comment on the following? Whats the exact number of coins PREMINED? 1% of total coins?
1% of 40M is 400,000. Add to that 15 from every block which equates to 43200 x 15 = 648,000.
Making a grand total of 1,048,000So ... Premine has so far been used for paying back a lot of compensation for the coins lost before relaunch (Yes i'm a dev who actually does that!!), and for promotional stuff. the foundation has so far been used to employ 2 PR members, which are doing an awesome job! Dont forget that the foundation doesn't get 15 from every single block created. Any orphan blocks or ones created when the wallet is offline do not end up in the wallet. Also i posted about the OSX wallet recently? yes the foundation coins were in there for a while and as a result lost some... during the problems... Im trying to be as open about all of this as possible. All i want is for this coin to be successful and for everyone to enjoy being a part of it. Fair enough. I never believed in working for free. But you still haven't said how many premined coins? 1% of what number? Can you post the addresses of the premined coins? yes 1% is the 400,000 pre-mined coins amount. And as you say you never believe in working for free, if i post the Premine address, i will have a flood of people asking what it has been spent on. Yes i have profited some BTC from it, and have spent a load on compensation, plenty of people will confirm this. The Foundation amount i will be totally open about, the address is BKqAh5ojyS7bkjaDHJEWXxMwKNUvUsNZak and there is currently 111647 ballance in the wallet. this will still be used for long term support and running costs.. Listen if this coin really does take off, do you think all the people that will need to be involved will work for free? i dont think so... Point taken. I do wish this coin all the best. Cheers dude

Done some calculations so far 6879837 coins have been created...

When PoW is over does that mean mining is no longer possible? sorry for the dumb question, I'm still learning
Yes, thats correct. After that transaction will be processed directly through the wallet's using PoS. When does the PoW phase end? At block 43200
The difference between this coin and other PoW/PoS is the new algo, X13, right? But is the only difference between X11 and X13 a couple extra scientific hashing algo's? Is added security all that this provides?
Yes and the fact that it is the furthest away from ASIC ming that any other Algo
Will this coin have an anon feature??
I'm looking in to adding this feature in the future, Want to get past the PoW mining phase first...
Why is Reject rate 100% and said : "Share is above target" ? Are you mining with an X11 or X13 miner?
