Not one screenshot has been posted by the "victims". One "victim's" account (bennybong) was hacked to spread this anti YAC propaghanda. Go panic, i'll have fun mining those sweet YAC in the meantime.

Here are the default values guiminer scrypt gives for a 5770 on Windows. Should perform almost the same in Linux imo? thread concurrency: 3200 worksize: 256 intensity: 18 That gets me 200 khash/s. With intensity 11 I get 153kH, good for desktop use.

Even my cheap VPS for 15€ per month gets 300khashes using 10 of 12 cores. I guess some people have access to a datacenter or just a sh*tload of servers on their fingertips.

Could someone please upload a Linux binary for x86_64? My VPS hits memory limit at ./configure ... checking whether libcurl is usable... yes checking for curl_free... yes ./configure: fork: Cannot allocate memory ./configure: fork: Cannot allocate memory
edit: Nevermind got it to work, not sure why it didn't before as the VPS has enough RAM. Getting 313 khash on my shitty 15€ VPS using 10 of 12 cores.

People who mine any new coin early on deserve every bit of their profits because at that time, they were basically mining just to support the coin while taking on all of the costs of power and risk of having the whole network fail and become history. If everyone knew you could just print money back then that would be worth a lot today, everyone would have gotten in... We didn't know that, but the early miners believe in the coin.

I'd like this coin to adopt the scrypt-jane algo implemented in yacoin. With proper Windows binaries please.

Successful trade with blastbob. Bought 300 YAC for 6 5.98LTC (damn btc-e fees). Blastbob rules!

Found 3 blocks in a half hour on my cheap vps using 10 of 12 cores. Around 300k, sounds like a lot.

but you can use the -server option with qt.. although, i couldn't use it as a pool for myself
worked for me, tried mining with guiminer scrypt and got lots of stales by my graphics card. Bet there are some people using a modded gpu miner right now. Wish i was one of them.

Finally got around to setup my own pool at http://81.17.30.113:19327/static/located in Switzerland based on https://github.com/skralg/p2pool-feathercoin2% fee Host: 81.17.30.113 Port: 19327 Username: Your Feathercoin address Password: x (or anything else) Note that this is my first pool and bugs and mistakes on my end are to be expected. Won't secretly raise the fee though... 0.61% DOA right now but i only got 150 kh pointed at it. If you see something that's not right tell me please. Planning to add CNC, but there seem to be too many problems with P2Pool and that coin, impossible to get stable payouts... That's why i chose FTC for the start. Cheers, happy mining! Edit: Woot 500 khash now! Thanks mysterious 2nd miner!

Mined many hours for nothing yesterday on the P2Pool, now here too. My luck...

Trivial question, but did you check temps? My Asus 5770 has a stupid fan profile beingint the card over 100°C if i don't manually set the fan speed. Afterburner ftw.

Having some problems too, last payment is from 1:24 PM (GMT+1 [or+2, summertime], so 11:24 AM forum time) but the pool site tells me there were many blocks solved afterwards. Edit: Having looked at pool site again, it seems all my shares past 414474 were not counted. My address is 6gApJAEGEnD83nHp9Sn8p5YPx1xK2iozNY, the graph shows a spike @ 1 PM and nothing before or after, although the miner's running all the time (before and afterwards), except mere seconds when changing intensity. Payments seemed to be OK before. Edit: Off to LTC until resolved.
