So after 2 months, Haaland took exactly 4 minutes to score a goal.

What a beast, already scored 2 goals in the 1st game of the season.
Absolutely and I think he's still going to be the best this season. Haaland will also lose out on the competition for top scorer this season after Kane agreed to move to Bayern Munich. He seems to be very comfortable leading the top scorers table because I don't know who will be his toughest rival this season.

In a few days, Manchester City will face Sevilla for the UEFA Super Cup. Manchester City looks set to win the title after they failed to win the Community Shield against Arsenal. Victory over Burnley will be a boost for the players to win the title next Thursday.

2 goals made by Haaland makes Man City can secure their first 3 points. Man City clearly dominated the match, there are already 14 shoot attempts and they got 68% ball possessions. I'm sure Burnley has no chance to score because Man City defense looks very solidly today. Man City players must be aware that this first 3 points is very important for them. So, they tried to do their best, and Haaland makes it easier by scoring 2 goals in the 1st half. Now, in the second half, Rodri makes it to be 3 goals. I think 3 goals is enough to end up this match today, Man City players don't need to force themselves. They need to keep their fitness for next matches.
I'm not at all surprised about Manchester City's first win against Burnley.
Haaland scored two goals in the match and Rodry also scored one goal, that was more than enough to seal 3 points in this game. Burnley was unable to develop their game as Manchester City continued to apply pressure despite having a 3 goal lead, obviously this was a predictable victory for most people.

Not only were Burnley humiliated in front of their own fans, but they also had to lose winger Anas Zaroury for a foul on Walker. Anas Zaroury was awarded a red card for his hard tackle, even though it was not really needed.
1003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: think before investing on: August 10, 2023, 08:56:02 PM
The people who lose everything are just greedy and trigger happy....

I had friends who knew nothing about Bitcoin and they rushed into the first thing that had "Bitcoin" in their pitch. Unfortunately some of these investments were Ponzi schemes that promised huge profits. They did not think twice.. or did any research, including asking me if it was the real deal... so they lost a large amount of money being greedy.

When you buy & Sell Bitcoin you have to be patient.... it is not a "Get rich quick scheme" or something that gives you a constant passive income. You simply buy low..... wait for a rise in the price ...and sell at a ATH.  Wink
Yes, many people get greedy on investing because they really want to get rich overnight. They should understand that investing is not a recommended get-rich-quick scheme, but investing is the best way to allow your assets to grow gradually over a long time frame. Many people don't understand the basic concept of investing so they fall and get involved in bad investments like ponzi schemes and such. They don't do thorough analysis and research before investing, but then they regret and blame bitcoin for the loss.

I also want to say that investing and trading are completely different. One needs to understand the concept of both well and plan a good strategy to be able to take profit. Not everyone who invests can make a profit, the same goes for trading. Both are risky, so use extreme caution and judgment.

You are right; that's the reason why some people cease to invest in Bitcoin and land themselves in a hot soup of shitcoins, but still end up regretting their decision when they can't get any profit. Some people usually have the mindset that Bitcoin is too expensive to buy a whole, but I still try to convince anyone I come across with such a mindset, telling them that they don't need to buy a whole of Bitcoin at once, nor do they need to save for many years before they can buy one Bitcoin at once. If one is still consistent in their accumulation, either weekly or even monthly, depending on how often they are getting the cash inflow, then they might still be able to accumulate a huge fraction of Bitcoin before they realise it.
Basically I don't mind someone's decision to diversify their assets instead of just bitcoin. Of course I don't want to elaborate on the potential benefits of diversifying them, but let's be honest that such an approach can never go completely wrong in your investment plan.

Buy dip and hold is the best way for anyone looking to accumulate. A limited/small budget is not the main problem as long as they have the desire, it's just that a lot of people are greedy where they want to get rich quick without understanding how best to do it. You don't need to rush to own 1 bitcoin, but just do it consistently and get yours within your budget.

It's really funny how hope is placed on just one person..... He is not the whole team, besides him there are other players who will determine whether Cristiano will score or not. He can help his team, but if the team performs badly, nothing will help them, not even Ronaldo.
You're right, it makes absolutely no sense for a title to be easy to win just because a team is depending on one player. Ronaldo is not responsible for success, but he is responsible for his own performance which in turn can help the team get the most out of a game. Al-Nassr was able to win the title not only because of Ronaldo, but it is because the team played well all season.

After all Ronaldo is part of the team and he still needs the help of other players to play well. In the 2022-2023 season Ronaldo played 16 times by scoring 14 goals and 2 assists, those are good statistics for him. Last season Al-Nassr failed to win the title, but next season they will try their best.

I also prefer that Romelu Lukaku is at a club where his presence is greatly appreciated because it is not only about where he is, but to what extent he will be appreciated by many when he is at a club. This is about a career and it really needs to be considered carefully from now on because the season will start soon so there is no more time to think about things that are still uncertain even though Romelu Lukaku himself still wants to be in Italy this season.
Inter and their supporters really appreciate Romelu Lukaku's contribution, but unfortunately Inter had to withdraw from their bid to make Lukaku permanent because they failed to reach an agreement with Chelsea. Then it was reported that Lukaku was interested in Juventus, but I don't know how far the rumors are at this time.

Romelu Lukaku could do well for Juventus if they really wanted to sign him from Chelsea, but I think that would make Inter fans hate him. Yes in the end it's always possible, but Lukaku deserves a high level of playing time instead of staying at Chelsea.

They will have to defend the Premier League, the odds are in their favor.
He should start and find it difficult to score tommorow night because this is Burnley no matter how strong you are they always look very hard to break and score. During the days of Sean Dyche before he was sacked they are know for how stubborn and offensive tacklers they have. Erling Haaland might not sckre tomorrow night still.
Haaland is a striker who is difficult for defenders to stop, but it is not impossible to prevent him from scoring if the Burnley defenders are able to mark him closely. After all, Haaland also doesn't have to always score goals because Pep Guardiola can also make some mission adjustments for Haaland so that other players have good space to score goals. Manchester City is a team that is difficult to prevent from scoring because every player has the ability to score goals, so Burnley's players shouldn't all be focused around Haaland.

I don't think there's any point in stopping Haaland if Burnley can't control the movement of other Manchester City players. Manchester City are the favorites in that game so Burnley may come under some tough pressure from the start.

We have to keep in mind that bitcoin was at 16k few months back and 30k is relatively better position then 16k. The good thing is Bitcoin is quite stable at 30k and not moving up and down from this price. Moreover market has up, down and stable positions, as an investor we need to be well prepared for all such situations. Right now its a good thing that Bitcoin is maintaining its position and it may explode in the long run.
We have gone through a bearish phase during 2022 during which time bitcoin lost a lot of value.
Some even thought that bitcoin would drop to $10k, but thankfully the price of bitcoin didn't drop to that level. Of course it is a gloomy period for the holders, but if they have good financial strength and have experience in terms of investment then of course accumulation is the best option to do.

The increased demand has seen the bitcoin price recover from the start of this year to almost touching $32k. However that resistance seems too strong to be broken so far, but I am optimistic that $32k will be broken during 2023 regardless of when.
1009  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run near already? on: August 09, 2023, 07:06:06 PM
Looks like its getting closer. I get that some people may not end up seeing it work at the time but that doesn't mean that we are going to not have it soon enough. I think its quite important to realize that we are at a stage where its going to be quite possible for the price to make as much profit as it possibly could. I think its going to be a great situation and we are going to end up with a great profit in the end. I get it, its not easy to be optimistic about bitcoin price after 1.5+ years of bear market and this is why everyone is trying to be more decent about it. But that doesn't mean that its going to fail, I think its going to be as good as it gets without a trouble from here on out.
But what if in the end the price of bitcoin is not what many people think it is? I mean the price will not touch ATH after 2024 halving.
Anything can happen to an asset that has a high fluctuation rate like bitcoin, but bitcoin has also been chosen by most people just to make a profit and get out. Of course this will affect the value, but that's how the market works.

I also think that it is good to be optimistic about higher prices for bitcoin. Bitcoin has proven that it is an asset that performs well even during inflation, but we can never guarantee that this will happen in the future. Only hope and patience and strategy adjustments can help us get a return, but we are indeed on the way to another bull run.

Clubs usually don't wait for any players, while in a position where a player is needed, the club immediately fills the void with an experienced player, but in the case of Real Madrid, we see something different. Real Madrid have yet to fill the void left by Karim Benzema. Real Madrid are willing to wait a season but they are not willing to sign another striker. If Real Madrid appoints a main striker in their team, it will surely be Mbappe. Without Karim Benzema, Real Madrid have become a bit of a haphazard team, but without Mbappe, Real Madrid are not thinking about anything. Real Madrid may have planned to sign a good striker, albeit a little late.
Is only Mbappe suitable to replace Benzema? No, I don't think it's just Mbappe.
Real Madrid certainly have good options to consider if they are to quickly find a replacement for Benzema, but I don't see them wanting to rush things. However, I also believe that Real Madrid need a striker urgently given that they are not doing so well without Benzema. Mbapee is certainly good, but Madrid doesn't need to wait until his contract expires.

While it makes sense to wait for Kylian Mbappe to arrive on a free at the end of next season, I don't think that's the best way for Real Madrid to do it. The team needs a lot of strength in attack to win matches and also to maintain any chance of winning the title but if Real Madrid ignores that then they will be risking something without the title.

The start of the season was good enough for Barcelona to steal the standings while Madrid's condition was still inconsistent. Against Atletico Bilbao was not easy and Ancelotti had to show the results of his players' training in that match. Still without Arda Guller so I hope he recovers quickly from his injury and can help attack. Real Madrid's schedule will be packed so it is hoped that the new players will be able to provide a better boost than last season.
Real Madrid will certainly have to be careful enough for their maiden outing for La Liga at San Mamés. Atletic Bilbao is not an easy opponent to beat, so of course Real Madrid must be prepared enough to anticipate whatever will happen in the match. I don't mind how long Arda Güler has been out injured, the fact that he is a recent signing is not much to be expected.

I can expect Real Madrid to have a good performance in their first La Liga game. Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bellingham can be expected to trouble Bilbao's defense. Federico Valverde can also help in attack, so I don't have to be so pessimistic about the match in the coming days.

Can't wait for the Premier League to roll around again, now there are only a few days left, at the weekend we can enjoy Premier League matches.

Burnley is a team rising to the Premier League, their chances of winning with Manchester City are few, but it is not impossible that there is no resistance from Burnley, I think it must be interesting.

Currently the odds offered by the bookies are also too far between them but clearly the victory is in favor of Manchester City.
Considering that Manchester City is a team that has quality players, then of course Manchester City's chances of winning the match are higher than Burnley. But it's true that sometimes the seeded team can't always win 3 points during the game, even if Burnley doesn't have a high chance of winning it.

I will never guarantee Manchester City to win their first game over Burnley but I still believe they have a good chance to win the game without any problems. Burnley are playing at home, so they should be well motivated to do their best.

Yes, Benzema's contribution is indeed very high, we have seen how his contribution and influence is at the club, especially when competing on the field. He's like a soul. It is clear how different the team is when Benzema is there and not when the club is playing. And at the moment, there is no substitute for Benzema who is in line with expectations, so Real Madrid's performance has indeed declined significantly, even though they have bought several young players, this is not enough to say that Real Madrid is ready to compete with other big clubs in the world.
So far I only feel that Kylian Mbappe is a suitable striker to replace Benzema at Real Madrid. But I don't see Real Madrid really serious about wanting to sign Mbappe quickly before the 2023-2024 season starts, that will obviously make Real Madrid's chances not as good as expected.

I realize that Real Madrid is very weak without Benzema. Bellingham, Vinicius and Rodrygo are certainly good, but that won't help all season given the very tight fixture schedule.

Harry Kane looks like he will almost stay with Tottenham until the end of his contract because Tottenham again rejected an offer from Bayern Munich for the third time. I think Bayern Munich will give up on chasing harry kane and will wait until the contract is over to be able to bring Harry kane to the Allianz Arena stadium.

If Harry Kane goes to Bayern Munich, Harry Kane can automatically play in the Champions League this season. However, Levy really kept Harry Kane from staying with Tottenham because Levy refused all offers that came to recruit Harry Kane. Some even say that if Tottenham let Harry Kane go then Tottenham will face serious problems this season where they have to fight from the relegation zone (this is really quite a funny opinion but shocking to hear)
I don't know exactly why Tottenham insisted on not selling Kane for 100 million to Bayern Munich. Based on the latest reports, Tottenham rejected the offer so Bayern Munich had to take another approach. Kane shouldn't be worth that much I guess, but Tottenham seem to be selling too much for this striker.

Honestly that I really believe Kane's sale price will be even lower at the end of next season. It may not be worth another 100 million next year when he turns 30 and over, but Tottenham seem to have that in mind now. Regardless of Kane's situation attracting Bayern Munich's interest, I believe Kane does not deserve to be worth more than 100 million, that is too much of a price for a striker without a title.

Real madrid has more disadvantages next season compared with barcelona.

- Old and underperform players
- Lost its best striker (Benzema contributed a lot last season)

It makes me feel that if real madrid may be trophyless in upcoming season. Im feeling if barcelona looks like superior compared with real madrid. The results from pre season matches were very disappointing for me as madrid fans. My expectation for real madrid especially josely and bellingham were too big.
Madrid can always rely upon vini. this guy is always becoming a player with most contribution to the club. Real madrid is also having garbage backs.

The result against juventus told me a lot of madrid really needs a new right back at this moment. Some players are losing their prime.

Vini and valverde were the only players that still consistent at this moment.
I don't deny your opinion, it seems to be true about Real Madrid next season.
Ancelotti will of course work hard to make up for the flaws, but I think he won't be as good as he was in the last few seasons because he has one year left on his contract. Real Madrid is in danger of being without a title next season, be it La Liga or the Champions League as well as several other domestic titles, but I have hopes for everyone there to be able to do their best.

Barcelona tend to be better in terms of form, but I don't think they are fully prepared if one or two of their main players get injured. Barcelona don't have as many players on the bench as the starting XI, but they certainly have a bit of an edge.

Surprisingly Juventus are not very aggressive in hunting for players in the transfer market this time, no one knows for sure whether it has something to do with the club's finances or the rules that limit Juventus. There are still many weaknesses in several positions and this will make it difficult for Allegri to keep up with the games of other teams and the loss of several players will also make Juventus weak next season in the competition for the top five league.
Manuel Locatelli, Moise Kean, Timothy Weah and Arkadiusz Milik are 4 players who are known to be Juventus' latest recruits. Of course Juventus don't spend a lot of money to bring in expensive players, but so far Juventus have spent at least 77 million euros more for these 4 players.

They are not as aggressive as some of the other teams eyeing expensive players, but I think Juventus are struggling financially so they don't try to sign expensive players like some of their previous transfers. I don't know exactly if Juventus are in financial trouble, but my guess seems to be right. But that's not the case as long as Juventus are able to have a good form next season.

Getting the Champions League title is not as easy as other domestic leagues, the Champions League is a collection of great teams all over Europe so it will not be easy for Barcelona to achieve that dream even though they have brought their team to a great performance.

The Champions League has a different sensation and the mentality of coaches and players is still influential if they do not have deep experience in the UCL, I believe Barcelona this time will be better to go to UCL even though the previous season could only stop at the group stage.
You are of course right there especially about the Champions League competition. All the participants who qualify for the group stages are the best teams in Europe from their respective leagues and of course they also hope to impress and win something.

Barcelona need time to win the Champions League title, but maybe Xavi can make it happen if he really has players who can play well every game. Luck also plays an important role in his quest for the title, but team performance is a good yardstick for determining probabilities.

Please stop there, tell me when was the last time Barcelona didn't qualify for the Champions League?
As far as I know and remember, Barcelona have qualified for the Champions League every season for the last 10 seasons, but they may not have made it to the last 16 last season.

I certainly agree that Xavi wants to bring Barcelona back to the peak of its glory in the Champions League by winning titles. But anyway, it must be difficult even though Barcelona's form so far has been better under Xavi. It doesn't matter how well Barcelona performed last season in La Liga, but the Champions League is very different.

The owner of Newcastle United is Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. And now Newcastle are the richest club in the Premier League. At the same time, the Public Investment Fund is also ready to spend a lot of money. But the Newcastle management is very experienced. They want to stabilize the team slowly. And I'd say the Newcastle management wouldn't be wrong to trust coach Eddie Howe.

Newcastle management did not spend much money. And they didn't include any star players in the squad. They added Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes to the squad. And both of them are midfielders and young players. I guess coach Eddie Howe has different plans. He wants to build the team fit to win the Champions League title in the next few years. And so he is investing money in young players.
Of course there is always a plan behind a team's approach to its player transfer policy from season to season. Newcastle have developed well under Eddie Howe, but I believe he needs to build a better team than he is now if he has ambitions of winning the Premier League title or the Champions League. Eddie Howe is certainly in no rush to do so as long as the management still trusts him, but the fact is that Newcastle have been the better team step by step.

I'm curious about Newcastle in the coming season, of course after they have qualified for the Champions League. Eddie Howe may don't expect too high in Champions League, but still he will do his best to test and try to go as far as they can.

Napoli might need the money, what if Victor Osimhen doesn't need it for now? It takes the two to agree on this and I don't know how the guy would agree to such a contract that could affect his career for life. He is still very young with a very bright future, and could still move to at least 3 other clubs to try his luck in the Champions League and others before he proceeds for such an offer that is centred on money. I will never advise him to move from Europe for now, career building is still more important and the huge monetary offer will still later come.
Maybe in the end Napoli will let Victor Osimhen go to another team that offers some money that is hard to refuse. I also don't expect Victor Osimhen to move from European competition to another competition like the Arab Pro League which pays a lot of money for players like Victor Osimhen, but Victor Osimhen would be great to stay in Europe for at least 3 - 6 seasons from now.

We all don't know about the future, but I'm sure Osimhen won't be leaving Napoli anytime soon. Napoli want to keep him so they can provide tough competition in Serie A and the Champions League next season, so that's why I'm sure Osimhen isn't going anywhere.
