10001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Betting Discussion & Predicitons on: February 25, 2017, 08:23:01 AM
I am staying up extra late for this. I found out that betting on the Oscars is harder than sports. Here are my bets.

Best production design - Hail Caesar +2000
Best film editing - Arrival +2500
Best sound mixing - Rogue One + 4000
Best makeup and hairstyling - Suicide Squad + 450
Best picture - Hidden Figures + 1700

I am following krach's anti Trump in the Oscars theory for best picture. Good night.

10002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sidechains or Child Chains? on: February 25, 2017, 01:29:38 AM
I have a hard time thinking about how the stakers or forgers will secure each sidechain or childchain if there are thousands of DAPPS in each platform. They advertise these new features but I do not think they have thought of a solution in implementing them securely except for the theories in their white paper.
10003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 209: Woodley vs Thompson Info and Prediction Thread on: February 25, 2017, 01:22:17 AM
This will be a good card and best match in this year. Woodley vs Thomson 1 is really good though, Woodley dominate on the first round and Thomson can make a comeback. Both fighters have the same chance to make a K.O. Woodley with the power punch and Thomson with the super kick. I predict this match will go under 2.5 match, Thomson win win k.o. Will watch it for sure !

Wonderboy will open himself up for Tyron's counter attacks if he does what he says in the fight. Wonderboy promised he will let his kicks and punches fly and I hope he really will do it. That is what Tyron wants so he can find opportunities to close the distance. His explosiveness will catch his opponent open to a knockout. Be sure to wait for it in the fight.
10004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DEGEN SIGNALS-Sportsbetting Picks - Third Party Verified - Soccer,NBA,MMA, NHL + on: February 25, 2017, 01:10:12 AM
@krach. Once again I will follow your picks. But on your pick in the Mark Hunt versus Alistaire Overeem fight I am skeptical. I speculate it might just be like the Overeem versus Roy Nelson fight with the it finishing all 3 rounds. I bet the over 1.5 rounds with ok odds at +110.
10005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: February 25, 2017, 01:02:06 AM
How much risk is coingamblingreviews taking. After 6 months, he risked 5 bitcoins to have a return of more or less 1.5 bitcoins. That does not look bad at all. But what I want to know is is there a risk of losing all your investment in 1 casino in a short time? If he lost all his 1 BTC investment on Kingdice then that will be 2/3 of his 6 month profit lost.

It is not likely but possible. One of the example is moneypot. It acctually used to be the 1 of the first 5 casino that he invested. However, after a few months of bad result, he pulled it out and that is an extremely good move because moneypot continue to lose money and in another 2 more months time, it lose like 800btc. The profit fell from an all time high of 1400btc to 400btc.

I did not know that you can pull out your bitcoin from the investment at anytime. I thought the site locks your bitcoins for a specific period until you are allowed to withdraw them. Like a time deposit in bank.

If you can withdraw from the investment at anytime then the risk could be worth it, if not then you should opt for shorter time locks.
10006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: February 25, 2017, 12:56:29 AM
It depends on what country the gambling website is registered in. Since a lot of sites are registered in South american countries, I am sure they do have to follow some regulations. Which is also why some of the websites require proper verifications.
Do note that a lot of non-bitcoin casinos are also bitcoin-offering casinos and hence are regulated.

Do bitcoin casinos and sportsbooks need a license to start operating? I do not think they do. They can set up a site and start accepting bitcoins or any other cryptocoin. Nothing can stop them because of the peer to peer nature of cryptocurrencies. Because in regular online casinos what complicates the matter are the banks and payment processors. Bitcoin casinos do not have this problem.
10007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: February 24, 2017, 01:41:32 AM
Bitcoin casinos do not have licenses in general. That is why it is very important for the owners to have a good reputation in the community. It is also very advisable to avoid new casino services at first until they are proven to be worthy of the community's trust. But you are never to sure with bitcoin casinos. Some established brands also might exit scam. Some gamblers here think Jetwin might not come back anymore.

@eaLiTy. It was not a haymaker that dropped Travis. It was more like a short hook that hit him on top of the head that did it. I had to watch the replay 2 times to see if it really was what happened.

Also Mario Yamasaki did not stop the fight soon enough. That was a bad call from him. Poor Travis could have been injured more unnecessarily.

10010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] Litecoin short and long term speculation? on: February 24, 2017, 01:11:17 AM
The problem with most of these Altcoins is that they are priced in both Fiat and BTC, so when Bitcoin rally it dumps but remain almost relatively thesame in Fiat. I think is a wrong assumption to think Altcoins should move up with Bitcoin because BTC ralling. Bitcoin is the only coin in the space that the price is been driven by soilid fundamentals unlike most of these coins that is pump and dump

Then answer to that problem is simple. Only hold Bitcoin if it is on the rise. Since altcoins stay the same in value in fiat, it will go down in value against bitcoin. In these situations like now, you should start looking for future opportunities to trade back to altcoins for the purpose of increasing your bitcoin because it is very irrefutable that bitcoin's rally will stop and altcoins will rise.

I have said before that all altcoiners are really closet bitcoiners because they always trade their altcoins back to bitcoins.
10011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs ETH? on: February 24, 2017, 01:01:00 AM
@shinratensei_. The Bitbay developer? You mean David Zimbeck? I do not think your information is accurate. He is not involved with the QTUM project. You should do more fact finding before you make your posts to avoid making yourself looking like a fool. This forum already has enough of them.
10012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DEGEN SIGNALS-Sportsbetting Picks - Third Party Verified - Soccer,NBA,MMA, NHL + on: February 24, 2017, 12:51:20 AM
I like your basketball picks. I hope we see some NBA picks today.

I am also interested on what you think about the main event and the co-main event of UFC 209. I have read some comments on sherdog.com that Tony Ferguson will have a better chance of winning versus Khabib than what the odds are showing us. Can you make a comment on that?

What do you also think of Tyron versus Wonderboy?
10013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DEGEN SIGNALS-Sportsbetting Picks - Third Party Verified - Soccer,NBA,MMA, NHL + on: February 23, 2017, 01:39:20 AM
I am interested. But will you still continue to post your picks at degenbet.com and your channel at youtube?

I want to also start betting on football and basketball but all the tips I find in the prediction threads are fake, meaning they only post or spam their predictions but did not bet on them. What sites do you go to to find information about sports?
10014  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: February 23, 2017, 01:25:43 AM
Are there any plans for 1XBit to start accepting litecoin, Ethereum and Monero deposits? These cryptocoins mentioned have become valuable in all of the cryptosphere and there is a trend that other sportsbooks are starting to accept them. It will also make 1XBit more open to other cryptocoin communities by making it more accessible for the coin they are loyal to.

That's good idea. Don't forget dogecoin.
But I think it will not implement soon...
Doge is good. But I prefer monero and Eth. Both of them are much more better since their prices are good enough and you can earn some good amount of money if you win some bet. In fact, doge is usually good for dice, not for sport betting

I do not think dogecoin will be a good addition of accepted currencies in any cryptocoin gambling site. The coin is dying and the value is very low and might not go up anymore except if there is a pump and dump. It is already merged mined with litecoin so expect it to be always dumped by the LTC miners.

Sometimes I also think that ETH might not have a bright future ahead. But for now it is still ok.
10015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves platform on: February 23, 2017, 01:17:25 AM
I speculate the future will be about a more efficient proof of work methods and decentralized smart contract platforms. Both of which Waves does not have. Waves wants to copy Ripple's model but with a more decentralized set up, I think.

Did Waves already release their full nodes? If still not, I think they are having difficulty in making a production version of the Scorex code base.
10016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs ETH? on: February 23, 2017, 01:09:35 AM
It is very funny that there are still some of you who still hope that Ethereum will be as big as bitcoin. There is no use for Ethereum even if there was a really good DAPP built in it. Who will use the DAPP and how big will be the blockchain will be by that time? If all the ICO that used Ethereum failed will it be considered for Ethereum to be a platform of scams?

Naw, there are several DAPPs that offer Satoshidice style services. One cannot deny that has been Bitcoin's biggest success. It's a grey area between gambling and moving money so decentralised base structures are desired.

Satoshi dice style services? Is that it? For a self described world computer, smart contract and DAPP platform those projects are of no innovation. Why would we play dice games in Ethereum if we already have good and trusted dice game sites for bitcoins?

Also be aware that QTUM is coming and it will be compatible with Ethereum DAPPS.
10017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] Litecoin short and long term speculation? on: February 23, 2017, 01:02:11 AM
@talkbitcoin. In the cryptosphere all cryptocoins want to increase their value versus bitcoin. What good is an increase versus fiat for an altcoin? Nothing because if the value does not increase versus bitcoin then I would rather hold bitcoin because there would be less risk and the value rise is the same vs fiat more or less.

I saw someone make the same point in the Lisk announcement thread. He said it was ok for LSK to go down versus bitcoin because it was going up versus fiat. If that were the case what then would be the use to hold LSK?
10018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM WHITDRAW AND SUSPEND ACCOUNT !! on: February 22, 2017, 01:56:22 AM
It is really hard to prove that you only have 1 account if you are already marked as a multi accounter. Most online casinos do not right away lock accounts. They study the online activity of an account and cross check them will all the other accounts marked with suspicion. It will take weeks or months before they make their move. First have proof that you only have 1 account then you can discuss your issue.
10019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs ETH? on: February 22, 2017, 01:47:46 AM
I am in dilemma. Should buy ETH and hold it or buy bitcoin and hold it.Which one do you thing going to give best and high return in next one year?
Im going still choose bitcoin than eth , eth encoutring problem with their coins and if you are going to think eth are just depending on bitcoin if eth will become individual maybe soon ill choose eth for investing but i had eth to hold and will sell when the price is high.

If it is all about investing and making some cash, then have bitcoin with you. ETH is more for traders. Buy low and sell high. Right now it is more in sell level. Bitcoin is all set for another break out. Do keep in mind that if ETH comes out if a mind blowing DAPP which captures attention of lot of people, then ETH can make severe gains. So, yeah. Keep an open mind and keep a track of how prices are moving for BTC as well as ETH.

10020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: February 22, 2017, 01:34:50 AM
@profitgenerator212. For the sake of the investors who bought in at the ICO price of 30,000 satoshis I do hope Dor does turn it all around. Those people who trusted the technology behind project and risked giving the value of their bitcoin investment deserve better from the Synereo team.

Don't worry AMP will be rescued, they have put a lot of time and effort into this. They will not let it fail.

There is a lot of demand for decentralized social media now, and I mean a lot (potential billions of $)

It is clear that centralized social media is full of censorship and manipulation, we need a better platform for online communication.

Synereo will take advantage of this, I believe they are 100% capable of this. The Synereo leadership is made of smart people with a lot of experience.

Some development here, some there, some venture capital deals, and the thing will be rolling again. It's only a question of time until AMP will hit the sky!

What technology are they planning to build the platform on? After exposing Rchain as a lemon the Synereo team does not have the core technology they need to build what they want. Will there be a delay on the release of the platform? How long? The development team has been very quiet.
