Actually, the last year was amazing and I think the best benefit I've got it from bitcoin is the continued financial income and I had collected an important amount. Due to the high value of the payments it received, especially when Bitcoin was rising to 18K. Furthermore, thanks to this currency I found many opportunities to work in an easy ways and without much effort also the payment method was fast and perfect.

In Otherwise,  the price of etheruem was volatility but there is little progress in this current time and now the  value is $ 870 and it is expected that in this new year the price will become between $2000 and $3000. So to hold and invest in Etherum is very profitable.

Seriously , it is hard to think that  Bitcoin will be hacked because his most advantage   is the security principally for the wallet. and is true that there are many governments want  to disappear this currency for their own interests because of the crisis for the economy of many countries ,there are also difficulties with their currencies.
Furthermore, if this big problem will happen to bitcoin there will be significant consequences and  this affects negatively for all cryptocurrencies and moreover there will be a  panic to all users of it.

For me ,I think that bitcoin will stay the best for a long term because for example when we see the value of the market cap  of this currency and the  other altcoins then we conclude that there is a huge  difference between them  so there is always a priority for bitcoin in many other things like the price, the volume ..
As well , I guess that there will be a development of some currencies and they may compete Bitcoin but this may take some long time  and I think that Ripple and Etheruem  will progress in a fast way.

In my opinion, I don't think that one day there will be an Altcoin that can progress Bitcoin in price and the market cap. In otherwise, There is a big difference between specifications of btc and the others currencies , And now the majority of users cryptocurrencies They use Bitcoin as a solution for them in  the Financial transactions, although there are difficulties in this period especially with  the price drop ,transactions, fees..
But it is certain that there will be solutions to overcome these problems, and surely
 that bitcoin will return strongly and and better than before.

Furthermore,  I guess that in the half of this year there will be a  little development  in the price  ( May will become $2000). In my opinion, It is expected that in the beginning of 2018, Bitcoin will rise in a fast way but there will be many stages leading to a jump in the price (I guess that this could be done in February or mars), and in that period maybe the value will become $40,000 or $ 60,000.
Furthermore, At the middle of the next year the price will be volatile (Maybe there will be a decline of 20%).
In otherwise, I guess that at the end of next year there will be a big surprise in the value (The price will be close of $100,000).
