1021  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 15, 2017, 07:17:21 AM
Yes it is true,  only 1% people know about crypto currencies. 99% people think fiat money is better than online currencies because digital currency needs internet. But in the world there are so many area where people are not in range internet. That's why They don't like online currencies.
If that's the only problem, then this one could be solved in the future, maybe 2020 while the coverage of an internet already expanding so much but actually people often pesimistic with bitcoin.
the decentralized nature making them things that it's not safe because it's basically not created or reserved by the government of nowhere. We should change that way of thinking to a more tech advanced point of view.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some Bitcoiners get hacked? on: November 15, 2017, 06:09:06 AM
All are fiction, created for entertainment & chaos. There is no way you can get hacked bitcoin unless it is insider job or way beyond that (I mean the person/group control bitcoin system). There is a lot secret behind bitcoin system you would never able to know.
You just need to open your mind more to your personal securities, no technology have no bug, bitcoin is secure from its system, but the access to wallet and address is not, every people have their responsibility to take care of their private data and keeping the access to their personal address/wallet from any strangers as well as those hackers who's trying to steal data from vulnerable user.
Cloning, multiplying, copying bitcoin in the real blockchain is obviously impossible or atleast, take too much effort to do, but, simply stealing data from the vulnerable users is simple thing that hackers could do.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency are considered illegal? on: November 15, 2017, 06:05:19 AM
This simply shows that your government has no knowledge about bitcoin transactions and use. It is a digital currency just like a prepaid load on paymaya, credit card and other medium to buy stuff in the internet, there is no system to co transact with that is why it is not yet widely accepted by other countries especially third world countries. They dont have the control of bitcoin thats why they say it is illegal but actually it is legal.
The government, I'm pretty sure have made some kinds of observation and they come with that conclusion after going through so many discussion. But, actually, some country do ban bitcoin, but not its existence or in form of saving as investment, but more of a spending in a country which don't officially recognize that kind of cryptocurrencies.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum coins - Too late? on: November 13, 2017, 03:49:44 AM
Ethereum has been pumping good in the past few days and I think this coin will go further in the future though it increases rapidly I believe anytime is still a best time to invest on it for a long term purpose. I can see that the future of most cryptos will be nice and successful especially now that there's a lot of advertisement about digital currencies and some countries start to legalize bitcoin and full adaptation in their market.
Just my thinking, ETH always stuck at $300~ rate and it's kinda bugging me why it's never either gets pumped or dumped, the level of volatility in this coin is just too stable for a cryptocurrency while bitcoin
get pumped or dumped so hard even with few times biggest market capitalization. It's the community that wants it to be stagnant or just the market consider ETH as ordinary currency to invest into ICO "only"?
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin To Moon!! on: November 13, 2017, 03:47:23 AM
It seem altcoin is comeback. Some altcoin start rising like BCH, ETC, PKB. And some still waiting to rise like ETH, NEO. Sewgit2x cancelled is the chance for altcoin market green again.  Grin
But it's just temporary, sadly, the altcoins could just increase when bitconi getting dumped so hard by the false rumours and Segwit2x cancellation hype.
This all altcoin green will be ended very soon, however, some of these altcoins may still gaining its higher price, but just, have a big chance to be crushed too.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the Bitcoin Cash Pump!! on: November 13, 2017, 03:35:03 AM
At the end, bitcoin cash coming back to where it belongs, the #3 altcoins again, See the market cap, it has now back to normal and decrease again, all these madness just temporary and
bitcoin still number 1 as it should be, hopefully it will recover its price back to $7000 but, it will probably crushing altcoins so much.
1027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble or Not? on: November 08, 2017, 03:21:17 AM
Its funny..Everyone saying how Bitcoin is to replace the current money ruled by the government. But the only reason Bitcoin is traded to gain the money everyone was so against.

So you noticed that, too, huh?  Those bitcoin ideals went out the window about $6000 ago.  Wink  I think that a lot of the core believers/first adopters of bitcoin probably still cling to those ideals.  But most people involved in bitcoin now are here to make (fiat) money.
LOL, that's the underlying reason of why so many people right now joining the bitcoin community, to gain the profit out of it, nothing else, they just got attracted by the volatility of bitcoin and just want to make profit.
Not even caring about bitcoin adoption, just money.
1028  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: November 08, 2017, 02:54:57 AM
I think cash is very old. He needs rest. And virtual currency world is coming..

You could not say that cash is an old ones, because it's still used since from new generation. I agree virtual currency is an advantage and the approach is widely appreciated specially if we talk about online payments, particularly on investments like trading businesses. Certainly the coming of virtual currency has been started already but not the whole world, only selected individuals been educated with this kind of crypto currencies as well as digital currency bitcoin and this is so dominating nowadays

But the fact is that all these physical cash is old, it's costly, innefficient, destroyable, and increase that amount of logging thus unfriendly for the nature.
We should eliminate this obsolete things as soon as possible because there's already digital currencies that have many benefits than disadvantage like cash.
1029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: November 08, 2017, 02:24:15 AM
Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Hey OP you are telling that you invested in Ponzi money scheme and lost 200 then how come do you have 400 bitcoins and how will you become millionaire. You lost your money but you did not got bitcoins. If you have bought bitcoins and the price crashed that time so you thought of it as dead investment then you are really millionaire if you still have access to that dead investment.
He's just imagining if he really bought all those bitcoin back then which is worth £200 and he can now become a millionaire not literally owning 400 bitcoin.
It's clear that he's making the biggest mistake in his life which is the moment when he can change his lifestyle, can make himself rich instantly just if he don't invest to stupid ponzi lol.
1030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin goes mainstream, the world's first trillionaires will be born. on: November 08, 2017, 02:19:56 AM
What do you think about this?

Will bitcoin lead to a new unfound and never-seen-before wealth gap between the rich and poor?

Bitcoin's current marketcap is 121 billion, if Bitcoin will increase in price ~100 times (actually less, because new mined coins are added to marketcap), the marketcap will be at 12.1 trillion. To be a trillionaire, you will have to own 1/12 of Bitcoin's total supply - this seems to be highly unrealistic, as of today the biggest rumored hodler - Satoshi himself, allegedly owns 1 million coins or 1/16.7 of Bitcoin's supply.
Also, very few people hold for many years - people were selling during all the previous rallies, so if Bitcoin increases in prices X times during some period of time, it doesn't mean that all users got richer by the same amount.
By reading your analyzation above, I can make a conclusion that in order to be world's first trillionaires, we need to surpass what satoshi currently have which as for now 1 million bitcoin = 7,2 billion.
We need to have atleast 12 billion++ just to own 1/12 bitcoin and the price need to be ~100 times of the current price.
Well that's not impossible if you have tons of money like bill gates lol, but for me, just daydreaming.
1031  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: November 07, 2017, 01:40:41 AM
Honestly, I am not sure if profit from bitcoin is higher than those you have mentioned above. Whether bitcoin has higher or lower profit than any of those, the fact that bitcoin is legal will make it better among any of them.
Definitely, no point of risking your life while you have another way that could comply with the laws and regulations.
Being targetted as a criminal itself enough to make me get away from all those kind of business.

i can say like this, the drug dealer gets the profit from selling their stuff and then they invest their money by buying bitcoin in one price and after they wait for some period, bitcoin price is increase so they selling their bitcoin to gain more profit. i think if they do this, then they income will be bigger and they can make money from two ways. i think if people can do this then i am sure that they will make bigger profit in future so they can double their money amount in the end.
I assume this is an advice to encourage people doing illegal activities or to be said criminalities right? That's just ridiculous
1032  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 07, 2017, 01:28:26 AM
I believe so, many of the billionaire is secretly changing its investment to bitcoin, because the price is going up very quickly, it is more profitable than the stock and yet share the same risk, if I am the billionaire I will absolutely invest in bitcoin
I must say, they will not investing their entire wealth to bitcoin just because people assume it's profitable while whether they could make profit out of it is still uncertain.
If we're talking about millionaire that's not becoming rich because of cryptocurrencies. They will just follow many proffesional traders movement just like warren buffet or else and just spend really small portion of their money for this risk.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the influence of bitcoin prices on other altcoins on: November 07, 2017, 01:20:36 AM
I don't know if there is a direct relationship with Bitcoin's price to altcoin's price but based on my observations, Bitcoin's price is inversely proportional with most of altcoin's price. I've noticed that every time Bitcoin's price rises, majority of the altcoins become cheaper. I don't know the reason behind it but that just what I've observed.
People got attracted into bitcoin by the price pump, by that, they cashed out their entire altcoins or convert it to bitcoin adding supply to the market while the demand decrease mainly because people holding to buy altcoins until bitcoin become stable, the principle is not that hard to be understand, it's just how the market works and always be like that since centuries ago. Additionally for a clue, you can see how the bitcoin dominance has been rising so fast from 49% to 63%
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100.000 new coinbase users in 24 hours. on: November 06, 2017, 04:09:24 AM
I dont believe it, to me its impossible
If that would be true then they will have 36.500.000 new users in a year  Roll Eyes yeah right
Unless 99% are bots
Are you sarcasting or just being plain dumb? It's mentioned that they just got all these amount of new users within 24 hours doesn't mean that they always get the same amount of additional new members in the entire year.
It's just rare event that makes it's gets published in many media and no 99% can't be bot because coinbase require verification ID.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people think about Mcafee statement? on: November 06, 2017, 04:06:51 AM
I actually impressed with his optimism that bitcoin could reach $500,000 in three years, but I also can't resist that infact in the cryptocurrencies world everything can happen, even the bitcoin price could possibly reach above $100,000 overnight, It's kinda make sense regarding his statement.
It also seem that he's proving his statement with some reasons including the math he did. Not going to deny it, it's possible.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 06, 2017, 04:00:39 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

More on shocked because there is no major trigger the bitcoin price to go high and it happened so soon.
The known major trigger is the Segwit2X and many people know that, I don't know the correlation of that HF and demand but from the statistics, it mentioned that the major demand comes from east asian countries just like korea and japan which is I assume a cryptocurrency friendly country.
Their citizens seem to really enthusiastic and so many cryptocurrency developers are moving there. If the trend is positive in a country that have major demand like korea and japan, the price could just increase easily.
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10.000 = 1BTC on New Year? on: November 05, 2017, 08:08:32 AM
What will be a bitcoin rate by new year?

$10k is definitely possible.

The overall trend is definitely bullish at the moment and to hit $10k would not really take any effort. Since we're at $7.5k right now, that would equate to around a 30% increase is price, something extremely manageable.

Don't expect it to be a smooth curve though.
Agree with that, as far as I know bitcoin price always rising by percentage and not in amount of USD. 30% kinda easy for bitcoin to achieve and it can come whenever the market wants just like how bitcoin keep rising even after hitting $6000 within less than a week. Not even a New year needed to achieve such thing but weeks.
1038  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: November 05, 2017, 07:49:53 AM
It's all depends and every business have different factors that could make people's profit vary and comparing the profit from investing to bitcoin to other business, simply stupid. Sorry no offense but that's the real thing. You can't compare a thing that have indefinite amount of number to each because the number could vary and that's the fact.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: November 05, 2017, 07:43:32 AM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?
in my own opinion some country ban bitcoins because of illegal acts like bitcoin can be use for drugs operations. some goverment i think they like to put taxes on bitcoins and they cant controlled it.
Actually that is not the main reason, criminalities that use bitcoin is such a rare case even sometimes it's get exposed. Bitcoin is often banned because it's considered as threatening the countries economy.
Even some small countries have smaller market capitalization than bitcoin so what you expect from them than banned bitcoin to keep their economic stable?
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie needs clue: Speculate to HODL BTC or buying cheap altcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 07:02:51 AM
At the moment whatever is happening alts are going down anyway (btc up alts down , btc down alts down ). though it is a very good time to buy the alts as they are very much bottomed down at the moment .

do your research and buy in parts as there may be more bleeding left in alts .
Even though alts right now are cheap, if bitcoin just keep going up until its peak, maybe $10,000 without even stopped by correction, those alts will get dumped even more.
I honestly prefer to hold BTC right now because it seem that all the attention right now going to BTC and you can see the bitcoin market dominance, it's always increase overtime and that's a sign that more people putting their money from alts to bitcoin.
