10221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look at where I am planning to go with BTC :) on: March 15, 2015, 10:07:52 AM
I have a question for you op, how much did you spent on this? I am glad that Europe can be so inviting and to be able to use your BTC directly to purchase a vacation for your family is really great sign of change. Bitcoin is entering mainstream everywhere in the world.
Actually it is around 450 Euro excluding airport taxes.
Also the site is for group offers and you pay everything in advance with BTC. They also made a very nice promotion and gave away around 5$ in BTC for each signed member for a limited period of time which leaded to a great popularity of the crypto at all in Buglaria.
BR
G

As long as you can find a legit site this is a really good idea group holiday, i think the community should do something like this with a trusted member organizing it and have a bitcoiners holiday would be really good and may even get some press if enough got together Smiley|

Also op good luck on your holiday it looks absolutely beautiful and i am just a little jealous, aha i am joking but it is gorgeous and for the price is a bargain.

Have a great time Smiley

Well , this is really very interesting idea.
We need good promotion for BTC, because right now many average people think that bTC is just some ''virtual thing'' good for investment only, and without real value in other areas of human life.
Such press article, about going to holiday with BTC only, can really do a lot to change public opinion about bitcoin.
10222  Economy / Services / Re: [7 OPEN SLOTS] Rollin.io Signature Campaign - Earn up to 0.14 BTC Per Month! on: March 15, 2015, 09:59:03 AM

Also, I've taken a look at the rules and revised them slightly. The main change to the rules is that all users are now removed from the campaign after they've received their monthly payment. It is then their responsibility to sign up again for another month. If they don't do so, then they won't be registered for another month of this campaign.

[/quote]

Can you explain this new rule little bit more, please?
So, when our 30 days (1 month) finish, can we, as before, just send you pm with confirmation that we want to continue with this sig. campaign or we have to post here?
What if we are without Internet for example and can't send you message or post right away?
I think that old members in this campaign should have at least 24 or 36 hours time to confirm their participation in this campaign (as before).
Can you clarify this new rule for us, please?
In any case, I hope that old members in this campaign will have always priority compared to new members (based on their previous support and work).

10223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a favorite city or country to spend time and Bitcoins? on: March 14, 2015, 04:24:28 PM
It will be great to have opportunity to spend BTC in any country in the world Smiley
I will be happy to spend BTC in Asia, S. Korea, India, Japan, such countries...
Hope to see this happens soon.
10224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos said Give Bitcoin Two Years on: March 14, 2015, 03:47:47 PM
I am not sure where Bitcoin will stand in two years, but at the rate of adoption and considering how many companies do invest, I see a good time coming.

This seems to be the point Andreas Antonopoulos said awhile ago before all this recent news give it 2 years, i have to agree there is a lot of reasons that good things are coming, 10,000 btc atm just started in Spain and they are in talks with other country's to get them to adopt, the 21 $116million to name just a few i am sure lots more to come. There will be exciting times to come for bitcoin not sure 2 years but within 5 Smiley

Yes, good things are coming but I think that we will have to wait longer than 2 years.
In order to make breakthrough and become mainstream we really need many more ''big'' merchants to accept BTC and this will not happen as fast as we want.
We have to educate people about BTC, get more users and inspire merchants to start accepting bitcoin and this is job for all of us Smiley
If everybody help, it will happen in 2 years, otherwise we will need much more time.

10225  Economy / Economics / Re: An easy way to make bitcoin worth millions of dollars on: March 13, 2015, 02:39:32 PM
Yes, it is possible.
Bitcoin should become mainstream.
It means that we need much more users and many more merchants accepting BTC.
But, there is no easy way to achieve millions of dollars and it's not realistic in short period of time.
10226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Regulation The End For Bitcoin? on: March 13, 2015, 02:35:43 PM
When Bitcoin finally becomes fully regulated and widely used like MasterCard I think many early adopters will sell out their holdings at the first giant price spike and stop coming here to post. Think about it, do you go over and hang out at the MasterCard forum? Of course not because MasterCard isn't trendy-edgy-cool. Bitcoin won't be either at that point.

I agree with you.
After all, it's all about business and money.
If early adopters think that bitcoin is good investment, they will stick with it, regulated or not regulated.
10227  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: March 12, 2015, 01:16:56 PM
glad to see PSG pass tonight
reff was i dont now bad is a small word

anyway glass to see them pass

They played with hearth and won with 10 players against full stadium and 11 players of Chelsie.
I'm so glad they won this battle Smiley
10228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: March 12, 2015, 01:11:56 PM
If this happen, I'm sure that value of BTC will increase a lot, what will bring great profits to many early users.
Of course, it will be great to be able to use bitcoin anywhere instead of local money.
Still this is distant future.

If things work out fine and infrastructure, ecosystem keeps growing, more and more businesses are build around and on top of Bitcoin, accept and work with BTC I believe in 8-10 years we will see a big portion of this distant future. So many things are able we might not be able to think about right now except visionaries.
So be positive, use and demonstrate to others how BTC works, cross fingers and I'm sure we can make it. Smiley

I hope you are right and that we will see some ''big'' changes in bitcoin world soon.
and yes, don't worry, I'm still positive and optimistic about future of BTC, maybe more realistic Smiley

10229  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: March 12, 2015, 01:07:33 PM
Of course, anyone who has a set mind to make money would consider using and investing in bitcoins. Bitcoin is open for anyone.

yes girls use bitcoins , free minded girls happy to invest in bitcoins and they forgot that they invested , after few year they checked that i am very rich

girls use only boyfriend money never care about
money

they can handle the house easily and children's also but boys can not do this

LOL this is great!
Any way, you are right in one point, girls are smarter and more capable than boys in many areas of human life.
So, if is not much girls using bitcoin now, this doesn't prove anything.
10230  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I get rid of the addiction for this forum? on: March 11, 2015, 08:59:06 AM
I find this forum addictive. Whether when I'm studying, reading a book or at work, I can't help but check on the new bitcointalk threads. I'm sure that a lot of people has experienced this situation as well, when they're trying to do something but in the end they waste their time on checking out bitcointalk.

Please help.

Join some dance club, go to walk, do some outside activities Smiley
it seems that you have to much free time, become busy with something.
10231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: March 11, 2015, 08:50:41 AM

10232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: African migrants using Bitcoin to send money home on: March 11, 2015, 08:46:04 AM
I know personally some people in Africa and what I hear from them is that in many areas of Africa have problems with electricity and internet access.
So, Bitcoin can be good solution for them but only when they improve infrastructure.
Until then, I'm afraid that most Africans will still have to use other payment services, like Western Union.
10233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starting an Australian BTC party. on: March 11, 2015, 08:39:31 AM
I propose starting a Political party for Bitcoin in Australia.

We could field a candidate for the Federal Senate, and perhaps some State elections.

To be registered as a political party we need 500 persons signed on who are on the electoral roll, a constitution and a few other things.

Opening the floor to ideas/merits discussion on policy etc.

Interesting idea but what will be your program?
What you will offer to public?
How you will solve your country problems?
Just with BTC?
I don't think this is realistic approach.
10234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the Federal Reserve Issue Their Own Cryptocurrency? on: March 11, 2015, 08:36:44 AM
This may be good idea for them but I don't think they will ever consider this solution.
Paper money they can easily control but Cryptocurrency is another issue (they may consider something completely different from bitcoin).
It's also question of supply and demand and if local businesses will accept it.
To complicate issue.
10235  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your HOBBIES? on: March 10, 2015, 02:00:22 PM
For hobbies you need free time what I don't have much.
Any way, if I have some free time, I read books, walking, watching good movies etc.
Also meeting friends on line, on FB, skype etc.
10236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Everything Be Decentralized? on: March 10, 2015, 01:35:30 PM
We have no choice Brothers and Sisters, we must Decentralize everything!

WE must decentralize Doctors, Lawyers, Politicians, Technicians, Scientists... they must become ubiquitous, available everywhere.

Professionals as a service whether they are A.I. or Human it does not matter, they must become available everywhere.

We have decentralized Money and with it we have gained access to all those who are willing to accept Bitcoin for their products and services.

We will decentralize manufacturing, Micro factories everywhere, expert designs custom made for everyone.

Decentralize Guns, Ammo, boxes, cars, everything.

I look forward to the day when I can randomly get into my neighbours car and pay my hard earned Bitcoins to drive to work.

Decentralized work, so I can work everywhere, Turn everything into a platform service... i want my tools to be decentralized, available when needed and Drone dropped to my work site...

I have a dream of Drones delivering food, tools, equipment to those who pay for it as a service... no longer will we wait at the Lunch Van deciding what to eat... I will have already made my choice on my phone. The Lunch Van will simply be a deployment area for all the gourmet meals without ever having exchanged my Bitcoins because I will have chosen my lunch as a service.

When I need security it will be provided in a decentralized manner, ubiquitously everywhere. Cameras shall watch my every move, located in every home and be paid for watching my back on my request because I paid for it as a service.

politicians, lobbysts i will pay them as a service to handle my interests and those who believe what I believe as a service.

Internet shall be Decentralized available everywhere. regardless of password, i shall pay every wi-fi hotspot as a service as I walk by them everyday, and they shall transition from hot spot to hot spot seemlessly.

I shall pay for my news and services as a service, autonomous AI programmed with my specifications scouring the internet looking out for my interests and informing me... news shall be decentralized.

electricity shall be decentralized, Fuel cell technology powering my home, solar patching as it can...

in the future every Man, Woman and Child will be a Army of one, dependent on no one but themselves.

Very interesting idea but I don't think that it can really work in real world.
We will always need central governments, army, police etc.
If we will live in ideal world without wars, conflicts, borders etc. such scenario will be possible but we are not on such stage of human development.

10237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why PayPal and Bitcoin should partner up. on: March 10, 2015, 01:30:01 PM
This integration has long been in discussion but i don't know why it has yet to be implemented. I think it's good for both sides paypal will benefit from btc users vice versa we want to be able to pay using btc at large marketplace where paypal is dominating. Hopefully we can see this become a reality by end of this year and if it does it's going to be a major boost for bitcoin adoption.

I agree with you.
If PayPal and Bitcoin partner up, it will benefit both sides but paypal CEO may feel that they don't need BTC, because we are still ''small' comparing with them.
I hope that they will see ''bigger'' picture and understand great potential of BTC or someone else will replace them and accept bitcoin as partner.

10238  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for me to sell my Bitcoins? on: March 10, 2015, 01:21:28 PM
Bitcoin is not a recognized currency and is currently being considered as black money. The problem is that many use bitcoins for gambling and illegal trades as one can open a bitcoin wallet without any proof. This is the major reason, it's considered illegal.
Unfortunately, you are right.
but, if you only exchange bitcoin for your private purpose, without gambling or illegal trades involved, i don't see problem here.
I mean, you should have right and freedom to spend your own money in the way you want, if you don't break the law.
Gambling and illegal trades can be illegal but bitcoin shouldn't.

10239  Other / Off-topic / Re: where you are spending your most of time on: March 09, 2015, 09:36:37 AM
In fact, I think that most of my time I spend at work Smiley
After that sleeping and doing other things, and on the end I'm able to spend a few hours per day on social media and on this forum.
10240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: March 09, 2015, 09:32:39 AM
I dealt with depression for a bit when I lost about 1btc on a 90% bet. Over time you forget it, that's how I overcame it. Just think of other things, spend time with family, try to forget whatever is making you sad and you will eventually overcome it. Good luck

With Gambling there will always be highs and lows, same goes for investing.  Heck almost every aspect of your life can be up and down.  This is great advice by funtotry, time heals all wounds, it will get easier and easier.  Just hang tough and you will get through whatever you need to.
You over think the problem and say "oh my life is so bad im so sad" but as time goes on you think less and less of it, and now I realize how much from giveaways I made, more than 1btc probably, and all the times I actually won. How much OTHER people have lost, much more than my 1btc, and they are probably laughing at losing 1btc.

This is true.
If you are involved in gambling, be ready for risk and don't become to much emotional, it will not help you.
There is huge risk in any gambling, so if you can't handle it, better stay away.
