TEAM TRUMP: ‘MORE GENUINE AND PRODUCTIVE WAYS’ TO SPEAK WITH HISPANICS THAN THROUGH PRO-AMNESTY CHAMBER GROUP

Billionaire and 2016 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s campaign says there are “more genuine and productive ways” to communicate with America’s Hispanic community than going through and empowering the pro-amnesty U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC).

Trump’s campaign team comments come as Trump will bypass a question-and-answer session hosted by the USHCC on Oct. 8—and will instead be speaking directly to Americans at a campaign rally in Nevada, where he expects to have a “capacity crowd.” ....
Shakedown.
He's welcome to come to largely Hispanic areas and will fill the stadiums.  There's no problem with his taking questions from real people.

Well said.   Im pro-gun.  Carry daily.   And no one will take that from me.   Otherwise I would consider them the monkey on my back.
Any time someone says that I'm reminded of a guy I knew that had a pet monkey.  And it went out with him, and was literally around his neck.  Can't remember what kind, smaller than a chimp.

Well, so he carried daily.   And I guess if you messed with him, you messed with his monkey around his neck.

Would NOT want to see that think angry and coming your way....

LoL   now I want a monkey.   Little golden Main or something small like you mentioned.   Emm.  A chimp would be way to heavy.  Would have to be a lion tamer or a golden maine.  They are pretty aggressive though fr being so small.   Lol

Actually I have known two, and the second one did own a chimp.  That's a far more complex story.

Anyway, it has zero to do with the current discussion.

For the  benefit of those outside the USA, I will say this.  Believers in the second amendment and conceal carry crosses all the political spectrums in the USA. It's only seemingly a political issue at the top, where the media projects opinion and attitude out to the masses.  Or tries to.  Any political goes wacko anti-gun, he gets booted out in short order.  Obama's done it in stealth mode, lying to get elected and then showing his true colors.

But it's a sad and rather tragic thing with these perverted monster control freaks (anti-gun politicians) try to focus their control freakness on firearms.  Seems like that always turns out badly.

Towns in the Old West handled this on a practical basis.  You went in a bar, you left the guns at the door.

We need to get practical again.  Until the bastards pushing a simplified anti-gun agenda start vocalizing the issue of prescription psychoactive drugs and their various causative effects on crazed killings, there will be no improvement in the statistics.  I'm not optimistic.

Just remember, we have found water on comets, as well.   Smiley

Yes Yes this is true.

Also how do we know its really water.

Whos to say its not liquid nitrogen or something similar.  Not says exactly that but there are other liquids that it could possibly be.  Some do mimic water.  Especially if we can not get close enough to really find out.

Dunno just a thought.

Control laws wont do much. ...
No, "control laws" won't fix a problem like this.  The only fix is to recognize that long nutcases will arise out of nowhere from time to time and they will go out and do their thing.

"Control laws" will not control that.

Next, allow the people to protect themselves against this risk - fully - by allowing those who are interested to concealed carry.

Once this is done, the bad guy will always know when he faces a crowd of what to him are targets, that they may and probably will, shoot back.

Oregon DOES HAVE a concealed carry law, and does have the "Castle Doctrine."  So here the problem stems from the Community College itself having pacifist rules creating a target rich and safe environment for the shooter.
10227  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Redcar steel plant goes into liquidation - FAKE!!! on: October 02, 2015, 02:59:34 PM
Here is the real story -

NEW YORK – A story emerging out of Britain suggests “follow the money” may explain the enthusiasm of the United Nations to pursue caps on carbon emissions, despite doubts surfacing in the scientific community about the validity of the underlying global-warming hypothesis.

A Mumbai-based Indian multinational conglomerate with business ties to Rajendra K. Pachauri, the chairman since 2002 of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC, stands to make several hundred million dollars in European Union carbon credits simply by closing a steel production facility in Britain with the loss of 1,700 jobs.

The Tata Group headquartered in Mumbai anticipates receiving windfall profits of up to nearly $2 billion from closing the Corus Redcar steelmaking plant in Britain, with about half of the savings expected to result from cashing in on carbon credits granted the steelmaker by the European Union under the EU’s emissions-trading scheme.

Hey, I have this really good idea.  The problem here is that this forum is unmoderated so people can say any disgusting lies they want.  We can fix this.  Here's how - just vote me in to moderate the forums, and then I'll ban people whom we don't like or want.  You know, it's for the common good.  Don't worry I'll figure the details on that out.  And everything will be a lot nicer because you won't hear or see a lot of negativity because they'll be gone.  I'm sure you understand that you'll have to stay within limits, too.  Reasonable limits, basically don't argue with anything I say and agree with my friends.   My friends will send me messages on who to handle different ways.  Some of them are secret friends and say outlandish things to try to provoke responses.   They help me find out who really isn't on our side.  If they're not, they're gone.

.....What is wrong with crying if your a man..plus use a baseball bat a nice kitchen knife keep beside your bed Wink Wink
Plus here in the UK not many rape your wife DNA will catch them .Does this happen a lot in America
you get robbed and then they rape your wife.
you will get some cases every so often but very rare in the uk ..I mean does this happen every day or week in america..Because if it does i am glad i live in the UK..I suppose i would carry a gun if this is the case..

Yeah, some places I have been you WOULD carry legally.  Some places you'd carry even if illegally.  Best thing to do is simply move, of course, but that's not always possible.

But do me a favor and don't talk about how nice and safe the UK is.  It may be safe where you live, but some places you wouldn't come out alive....

Regardless, I view the UK as an experiment in gun control.  That's similar to some of the USA states being experiments in gun control/legal concealed carry.   We sure don't need people arguing one-size-fits-all on this issue.

From the "experiments," 20 years or so, it's definitely looking like legal ownership and concealed carry is safer for everyone.
10230  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: October 02, 2015, 01:21:36 AM
Its time to give your guns up.
To many kids getting hold of guns. You sell them on every street corner shop and market stalls..
the more guns that float around the more shootings will happen..
OREGON seems every so many months this sort of thing will happen.
At any time in life a human can go mental..It can happen to anyone because of all sorts of reasons.
So when someone gets the idea to kill others they can do a lot of damage with a gun

Plus if you give up your guns crime will go up..But deaths will go down..
So this is your choice AMERICA ..MORE CRIME..or LESS DEATHS its all up to you..
My choice less deaths.
Also no point saying its because the government might attack us ..
If the government attacked you what would your guns do they could blow the shit out of you all with
planes tanks and helicopters..

See the constitution says you have the right to bare arms to protect yourself from a rouge government.
It was written 1787..
So they never knew about planes tanks and helicopters ..
So if the government wanted to attack you they just blow you up with a drone
What will your gun do against a drone..

So now it all comes down to protect yourself and your belongings..
But you will find more people get killed by someone they know..nothing to do with crime as in theft.
More people shoot there family than what get robbed with a gun
SO ITS TIME TO GIVE THEM UP..
plus maybe one day your police force will not carry guns only special squads.
Not your every day police officer ..Less guns less people getting trigger happy..

It's not time to give up our rights to protect ourselves from our governments.

It's time for people to realize that if someone had a gun on that gun-free zone, they could have stopped the killer from killing more people. Criminals will still get guns and people who obey the law will be the ones in danger.

Why, just follow the sage advice of the NEW YORK TIMES on being a MODERN MAN.

I quote only 3 of their bits of wisdom(not).  Of course these are synergistically inter related trueisms, interacting with cause and effect.

16. The modern man lies on the side of the bed closer to the door. If an intruder gets in, he will try to fight him off, so that his wife has a chance to get away.

....

25. The modern man has no use for a gun. He doesn’t own one, and he never will.

26. The modern man cries. He cries often.

You just never know.  Someone stated that if there is life there that it came from mars.   Yet no one really knows for sure.  Whos to say our life didnt come from there.

Under the surface who is to say there isn't so called people that live strictly underground.
....
That would imply living strictly underground, with ZERO evidence of their existence above ground.  That seems unlikely.  A similar question would be something like "dolphins are intelligent, but there is no evidence of them "above ground."'

Mars is starting to shape up something like Arrakis, though...
10232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NASA has found water on MARS!! on: October 01, 2015, 09:24:35 PM
Can someone explain why this is a big deal? I thought we already knew water was on Mars?

We already knew it, this is true. But we didn't know that there was liquid water on Mars.

This isn't exactly true.  From water on the poles, etc we can infer a "water cycle" on the planet.  But that's inferred.  The absence of a water cycle though is unthinkable, given that sometimes the ground temperatures are 80F.

A water cycle would mean liquid water in the ground is brought to the surface or nearly so, then boils off, then drifts to the poles, falls as snow and accumulates on the ground.  But then the depths of the ice caps might be melting, and subterranean flows carry the (liquid) water back towards the equator.

I'm not seeing the whole cycle, frankly, but there must be a lot of people trying to figure it out right now.

She's an elected official, she refuses to do her job, refuses to resign, she can't be fired, thus ends up in jail. I don't think she deserves to be in jail but she needs to leave her religious bullshit at the door where it belongs. Religion has no place in politics, it's just a convenient smokescreen to excuse bigotry and hatred.

Your are not alone here.   I get into arguments all the time over this very same thing.  Religion and politics do not mingle well and should not work together either.  If your an elected official you should keep your beliefs to yourself.  No one wants to hear them anyways.

Why pick on religion?  Is it somehow unique from other personal beliefs?

Let's NOT ENFORCE the federal law on IMMIGRATION and BORDERS.

Let's NOT ENFORCE the federal law on MARIHUANA.

FUCK YEAH, let's slap it to those religious bigots WHO WANT TO DISOBEY THE FEDERAL LAW.

They are not abut destroying control, they just want to use it against people they do not agree with. Not insane. Opportunists.

If you go with that point of view, you need to realize that point of view may be used exactly, perfectly similarly against you tomorrow.

That's why there is something called the "rule of law" behind "law."

That's why I ask the question,

"Are you guys insane?"

Shooting at GUN FREE Umpqua Community College, Oregon

Roseburg, Ore. – -(Ammoland.com)- A shooting has been confirmed at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore.

More than 20 people are injured after a shooting at a community college in Oregon Thursday morning, officials told the Daily News.

Preliminary information indicates 10 people were killed and more than 20 others injured in a shooting at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College on Thursday morning, Oregon State Police spokesman Bill Fugate told CNN.

The shooter was reported as “down,” with no further details immediately available, said Douglass County commissioner Chris Boice.

One female was shot in the chest on the Roseburg campus, and 20 people were reported as “injured,” he said.

Umpqua Community College is a posted Gun Free Zone. With the college security page stating the following:

“Possession, use, or threatened use of firearms (including but not limited to BB guns, air guns, water pistols, and paint guns) ammunition, explosives, dangerous chemicals, or any other objects as weapons on college property, except as expressly authorized by law or college regulations, is prohibited.

Possession of knives with a blade longer than 4” is prohibited.

Brandishing weapons is prohibited.

Misuse of personal defensive weapons – e.g., pepper spray, etc. is prohibited. The owner is responsible and accountable for any misuse of these devices.”

The college is located on the North Umpqua River and serves Roseburg and the greater Douglas County area. The college was established in 1964 and educates close to 20,000 full and part-time students

This story is breaking and will be updated as more information becomes available.

I truly don't understand why places like "universities, colleges, etc <expand the list as you like>"  think they can figure out what should and should not be allowed on their premises.  Why shouldn't the local laws govern?

Very distracting question, whenever you pose a question please talk with references not with self biased opinions. Where did you read that islam encourage hate? Islam is a religion of peace, thereby encouraging love, care, respect, help and emphasizes on brotherhood. It does encourage Tabligh; to invite non-muslims to islam. Please, don't spread rumors. Islam command us to respect all religions and treat their followers fairly and equally.

How is this story to be understood, given what you have said?

So does State trump Federal when you want it to (weed) but Federal trumps State when you want that to (Marriage)?

Yes. If the feds were to say same sex marriage is not okay, and states did it anyway, I would support that as well. That's because I support basic civil rights for human beings, marriage is one of them.

Quote
that's some screwed up thinking there.   Really there are no principles involved here at are, are there?  It's all about I want what I want and it's my right to get it my way and screw you.  I am able to change my opinion here if you can present a logical method to show why your approach doesn't just mean no principles, and no rule of law.

Yes, supporting giving people their rights back is horrible of me.
Look can we just have some honesty here?

You see something okay in Fed enforcing the marriage thing, but not in them enforcing the weed law?

So who gets to pick and choose when and to whom to apply "law" to?

Leaving aside for the moment that this constitutes the very reverse of law, who?

No hiding behind vague slogans please.

What's wrong with the current system? If you are trying to convince me that states should have final say no matter what, you won't. The history of civil rights abuses have proven it to not be the best method.

You say that you want me to be honest and stop hiding behind slogans, while at the same time ignoring my comments, and trying to bait me into a states rights debate that's been had millions of times, so you can hide behind your slogan of states rights. Civil rights>state's rights.
....
But, respectfully, that's not what I am doing.  I am simply asking, if Federal Law is not to be applied equally, all laws to all people, then who decides which are applied?

Marihuana - is Federal Law.
Marriage - is Federal Law.

"What's wrong with the current system?"  You ask?  Should be obvious...

What pisses me off is that back then forty plus years ago we really did have genuine environmental problems here in the U.S.  I was there and I remember them.  We took things fairly seriously and did a damn good job of fixing them.  Instead of getting credit and getting these scumbags off our ass, these one-world eugenicist motherfuckers won't let them go because they are so politically useful and they are so invested in the milking the problems that they simply indoctrinated the kids into believing things which just are not there.  At least here in the U.S. and most of the West.

I had a nice car that the paint was basically ruined from "acid rain."

Right now, yes there are a lot of imaginary and mythical evil monsters being promulgated under the raised scepter of "settled science."

And there's no acid rain.
