Why is the blockchain not a common good? You can download it for free. Anyone with an internetconnection can. IF all coins where shared equally... I understand now that this is your problem... they would have no value. If there are 1000 people who have bitcoin and everyone of those 1000 has the same amount of bitcoins, whats the point? And if person 1001 comes along, does everyone give a part away? You could probably make a coin like this, but thats not a currency. I can not transfer value like this. |

Da wo ich wohne gibt es keine Impressumspflicht.
Wenn ich die Bitcoints nur für Online-Dienste ausgebe, wie z.B. Accounts oder Server, sollte ich doch anonym bleiben oder? Ich habe nicht vor, was auf mein Bankkonto zu überweisen.
Naja kommt drauf an. Aber erstmal nicht. Es sei denn Du musst beim Kauf etwas angeben, dann kann der Händler das theoretisch mit Deiner BTC Adresse in Verbindung bringen. Aber meistens reicht denen ja ne Mailadresse o.ä. und die ist erstmal auch Pseudonym. Die Adressen gehören beide mir, die IP ist definitiv nicht aus dem IP Bereich meines ISP, also definitiv nicht meine. Die IP vom Empfänger kenn ich nicht, macht aber kein Sinn (die ist für das empfangen ja egal). Ich bin mir nicht 100% sicher, aber das müsste der Node sein der die Transaktion an blockchain.info übermittelt hat. Das kann theoretisch auch mal die Person sein die sendet. Kann man aber hier nachsehen https://blockchain.info/de/connected-nodesWenn Deine IP nicht in dieser Liste steht ist dein bitcoin core nicht direkt mit Blockchain verbunden. Ggf. via Tor verbinden (siehe unten) Ist das eine IP vom Käufer oder Zahlungsempfänger? Kann man meine IP herausfinden wenn man Bitcoints erhält, verschickt oder durch die Bitcoin-Empfangs/Zahlungs-Adresse?
Generell hat jeder Node der mit Dir verbunden ist deine IP. Die Verbindung ist nötig damit Du eine Zahlung an das Netz senden kannst. Du kannst bitcoin core aber auch über Tor laufen lassen und mit -onlynet=Tor ipv4 und ipv6 Verbindungen ausschließen. Um Bitcoins zu erhalten brauchst Du nich online sein (Stichwörter hier sind cold storage bzw. paperwallet), nur um sie auszugeben. Edit: Achso: Jeder Node hat zwar deine IP, aber das heißt ja nicht das Transaktion X von Dir ist. Du leitest ja auch ständig Transaktionen von anderen weiter um sie im Netz zu verbreiten. Edit2: Noch was. Das Bitcoin Adressen einander zugeordnet werden können, lasst sich inzwischen relativ einfach mit "Coincontrol" (keine Ahnung wie die Übersetzung bitcoin core lautet) erreichen. Dabei kannst Du selbst bestimmen woher die BTC kommen die Du für die Überweisung brauchst. Ich hätte in meinem Beispiel z.B. auch zwei Einzelüberweisungen machen können, das hätte sich nur bei den 0.0006 BTC wegen der Gebühren nicht gelohnt. |

habe mir gestern den Bitcoin Core heruntergeladen und bin nun auf dem aktuellen Stand. Da ich noch Anfänger bin, wollte ich mal was Fragen...
1. Ich habe eine Webseite, auf der ich gerne meine Bitcoin-Empfangsadresse platzieren möchte um Spenden in Form von Bitcoints zu empfangen. Kann man anhand der Empfangsadresse meine Identität herausfinden? Ich möchte nämlich gerne anonym bleiben.
Adressen sind pseudonym. ( https://bitcoin.org/de/das-sollten-sie-wissen ) Wenn Du auf der HP ein Impressum ist hast kann man die Adresse mit diesem Impressium in Verbindung bringen. Ansonsten kann man auch mit whois domain.de was finden. Das betrifft aber nur die HP nicht die Adresse. Diese ist erstmal (sofern Du diese Daten nicht irgendwo verknüpfst) nicht mit Dir als Person (mit Name, Anschrift o.ä.) in Verbindung zu bringen. Ggf. aber mit anderen Adressen von Dir. Wenn Du z.b. auf Adresse A 0.5 BTC empfängst und auf Adresse B 0.4, aber 0.6 BTC ausgeben möchtest, dann werden sowohl Adresse A als auch Adresse B im Eingang der Transaktion angegeben und somit ist klar das beide Adressen zur selben Person gehören. Ich habe gehört, wenn man das Programm "Bitcoin Core" im Hintergrund laufen lässt, generiert es automatisch Bitcoints. Wie läuft das genau?
Da hat dir jmd. Quatsch erzählt oder ist auf einem sehr alten Stand. Bitcoin core ist schon länger kein Miner mehr. Bitcoins mit normalen Rechnern schürfen lohnt ohnehin nicht mehr. 3. Kann man Bitcoin in € umrechnen, wenn ja, wie? Woher soll ich wissen, wieviel Euro z.B. 0.02231244 BTC ist?
Gibt da diverse Tauschbörsen wo Angebot und Nachfrage den Preis regeln. Z.B. über https://bitcoinwisdom.com/ findest Du diverse Preise. Die meisten sind allerdings in Dollar/Bitcoin angegeben. Bei http://bitcoincharts.com/ kannst Du nach Währung sortieren. 4. Nehmen wir an, mein PC stürzt ab und ich muss formatieren, ohne vorher ein Backup gemacht zu haben. Sind dann meine Bitcoints weg? Ich würde mich über Antworten freuen  Gruß Ja. Wenn die wallet.dat verloren geht oder beschädigt wird, hast Du keine* Chance mehr an Dein Geld zu kommen. * keine ist nicht richtig. ich habe wie im Titel geschrieben den kompletten Bitcoin Ordner in Roaming gelöscht. Ich habe die Wallet gesichert, aber als ich Bitcoin neu installiert habe hat er einen neue Wallet angelegt. Meine Frage wäre kann ich auf die alte Wallet noch zugreifen?
Ja, in genau dem "Roaming" Ordner ist eine wallet.dat. #1 Bitcoin core schließen #2 die wallet.dat aus roaming in wallet.dat.backup umbennen (ist an sich unnötig, aber man weiß ja nie ob man die nochmal braucht) #3 deine eigenname.dat als wallet.dat dort hin kopieren #4 bitcoin core starten Ich bin davon ausgegangen das ich nur die Wallet sichern muss und diese Datei reicht um die Wallet weiter zu benutzen, also die eigenname.dat. Ich benutze Bitcoin-Core, die alte Wallet hatte ich mit der Version 0.86 meine ich Anfang des Jahres das letzte mal benutzt. Jetzt hab ich 0.91.
Das ist soweit auch richtig. Nur wenn Du die wallet.dat löscht ist sie halt erstmal weg. Die liegt in genau diesem roaming Ordner. Es kann unter Umständen sein das dein Backup nicht alle nötigen Keys enthällt. Das kommt darauf an wieviele Adressen zu so generiert hast. Alles < 100 sollte kein Problem sein. Hoffe das hilft. |

Thats refering to the bittorrent protocol I assume? What about them? They changed the way to music industry thinks about distrubuting music and the same downloads will revolutionize the film industry. The current distribution system is outdated. The blockchain is shared equially amoung all full nodes. The "coins" are allways in the blockchain you only hold a private key, which is the right to spend certain coins. Bitcoin IS NOT 100% P2P!!! Only some functions are p2p. Not all functions.

I use Linux Ubunto and I don't know what to do.
Being a noob myself I asked the same question and got no answer here. Just to have it clear I was using bitcoin 0.9.0 from Ubuntu PPA and had my libssl1.0.0 updated however in the debug window it still showed old/insecure version of OpenSSL. So here is what I did: -First thing first back up ur wallet. -Shut down your client. -Now make a backup of your current bitcoin-qt executable/shared library which should be in /usr/bin cd /usr/bin
sudo mv bitcoin-qt bitcoin-qt.bckup -Download and verify bitcoin-0.9.1-linux.tar.gz-Navigate to your Home directory -and then to Downloads -unzip what you've downloaded tar xvzf bitcoin-0.9.1-linux.tar.gz
-Navigate to just unzipped directory -and then depending on whether your system is 32 or 64 do cd bin/32
/* alternatively if your system is 64 do */
cd bin/64
-copy bitcoin-qt from this directory to /usr/bin sudo cp bitcoin-qt /usr/bin -start your client the usual way. Hope it helps...  Depending on which Linux you are using there might be an easier way.... This is not as ubuntu specific as it sounds, as most commands work on all distros of Linux. Wouldnt get those two things mixed up.
Why?  Because Kali is "for hackers". Well its for pentesting, but for some thats not a difference. #1 There will be next to no support regarding any problems you might encounter with Kali. You allready struggle to install bitcoin core, as you apparently have to build it yourself on kali. On almost any other Linux you could just download a prebuild and be fine. #2 With an "Hacker OS" you might attract attention of (other) hackers. #3 Single user allways root is against the basic principle of linux security. It is a good idea that you dont have allways full rights to change everything when you are just browsing the internet. If you want to sniff packets of the network you need root access, if you want to open myfunnywebpage.com you dont and you shouldnt have. Install a "regular Linux" for all I care install Arch or Gentoo if you want to learn a lot. Get an USB stick and a small screwdriver to unplug your harddrive for the times you want to mess around with Kali. Did you try using qt5 instead of qt4?

Gibt gerade ein (un)schönes Beispiel. Da wurden jmd. 150 Bitcoin gestohlen. Hat offenbar beim erstellen des Priv. Keys nicht aufgepasst. Egal. org. Post hier: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=590090.0Hier ist der Verlauf der Coins: https://blockchain.info/tree/54804358Der obere Teil (die 150 BTC) sind die gestohlenen, der untere Teil ist noch beim ursprünglichen Besitzer. Ja der hat so >1000 BTC und passt wohl generell auch gut auf seine Coins auf. Hat ein paar Tage gebraucht bis ihm überhaupt aufgefallen ist das 150 BTC fehlen. Egal. Wenn man jetzt mal versuch die 150 zu verfolgen stößt man relativ schnell an seine Grenzen. Und selbst wenn man weiß die Coins liegen jetzt bei 1Fbgx993jBaCNnq5w7BcraDNE6J6hCaWZg (oder ein Teil) hilft das auch nicht weiter. |

Anyway: https://blockchain.info/tree/54804358People allways think its easy to "follow the money trail". Just open that tree for a few steps and you will notice that other coins come into the mix. Very fast you can no longer see where the original 150 coins are and where other coins came in. -snip-

That's like saying if I tell you that a molecule of water is located in the pacific ocean, that reduces the difficulty of finding it. With ~3*10^25 water particles in 1 liter and 1 liter = 0,001 m^3 We have 714* 10^6 * 10^12 (km^3 to liter) * 3*10^25 = 714*3 * 10^(6+12+25) = 2.142 * 10^43 water molecules. While 2^96 = approx. 7,9 * 10^28. Hmm if we take 1 liter... that would be 7,14 * 10^20.... so 1/10^8 th of a liter, thats 1/10^2 µl or 0,01 mm^3 thats a fraction of a drop of water (~ 1/20 ml). Still hard to find PS: If some of the calculations are wrong, sorry.
