While commenting on one of threads over here. A really interesting thought popped into my mind. What will happen when there will be coming a huge war?
Even a World War III? Will Bitcoin pump or dump? What role will Bitcoin play? We all know the economy and the currencies are very vulnerable in wars.
I would like to hear some interesting thoughts, even maybe some full detailed articles? Anything would be very welcomed.
We don't know what will happened to bitcoin in case a war break out in the future. But for me, bitcoin is not suited for this kind of situation. Although is can be used to hedge and to store you wealth in this crisis, it will be gold who will play a vital role. We have seen it happened during the last Great War as Britain used to pay its debts from war or even buy raw materials like steel and oil during and after the World War. Only 2 cases have been so far documented bitcoin to be very useful during crisis. That is Venezuela and Zimbabwe economic turmoil. We never been tested in a War because obviously we haven't witness one yet. |

Who are your guys early favorites to win the NBA Championship this year?
I would have to go with Golden State at 5/1 to repeat and win it all again.
Yeah, for me it will be Golden State as i see them young and become more harden by each day unlike my team Cleveland in which they switch to young players but still need more experience to compete. I just hope they will easily to adjust to each other as the playoff is getting near. I am actually seeing Cavaliers line up better than those high paid salaries yet ineffective and old. Still Golden State looks invincible. Easy repeat here for me. Why does some of it here still acts like Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers still on the top of their conferences when Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors even Boston Celtics are a better team then Cleveland. Yes you can say they have the Playoff and Finals experience but you can't deny the fact that Celtics, Raptors, and Rockets also have a quality team. Houston Rockets can also match the scoring of the Golden State Warriors and James Harden is actually hungry to have his first championship. Its because that GSW is the defending champion and Cleveland is the defending East conference champ. Although they are not the top seed this year, they still have the advantage because of the experience. Does Houston or Toronto have been in the finals with the current lineup? I don't think so. And we all know how Houston (minus CP3) choke last playoff against San Antonio while Toronto didn't any good as well. Yes the teams are different now, but unless they really show that they are not just good in paper as top seeds, they wouldn't get that recognition that they deserves. |

Do you think that Satoshi will suddenly appear that this time and started to dump his bitcoin? I don't think so. This is really bad for hodlers but at the same time open opportunity to buy back. More supplies in the market means it get much cheaper. This is handy tool anyway. Unfortunately, we don't know when their last transcation will take place to anticipate the bottom. Thanks for that tool anyway  We always should look at the bright side. This is really a good time because its a good buying point. As for the Mt. Gox trustee, we can't really stop him from doing it. We just hope that he thinks logical and not just huge amount of bitcoin because the effect is really bad to the market. |

My speculation is that investors just wanted to cash out and make used of their fiat. Maybe they wanted to get out and go on a vacation with their families, or bought something that they want. Other than that, it doesn't make sense to dump your coins every weekends, specially if we are in the bullish trend. But I'm sure that those who sold will go back to the market again so everything is not lost. |

Hello guys, I'm very happy because my university chose me to participate in a big national competition about robotics and there will many participants from the whole country, So I made a project about " Obstacle avoiding Robot " and I will participate it in this event. Furthermore, the winner will get a big reward and the state may recognize the winner and assist him in making another project. I've make everything and the robot is going well , I'm very excited to win but I have little fear. What do I need to win in this competition?  I don't get it. Your university has chosen you to represent them. Of course they pick you because you have that edge, something that other in your school don't have. And maybe they think you are really up to the task because you are intelligent. Then why ask what you needed to do to win? I'm sure that you can figure that out and you will get thousands of advise you that might get you confuse at the end. And if you type "Obstacles avoiding Robot" in google, you will get a lot of hits. I think the game between Toronto and the Houston rockets should be a tournament of this end of season , a rockets win should consider them a bigger threat to the golden state warriors for the western conference finals . Most predictions goes to Houston rockets losing this game but I still believe that they will continue their invincibility record for so long , they want to show that they deserve to be leader of the conference and present them self as a pretender for the NBA title . My prediction is that they will win but it will be a very close game .

I don't know but If I'm going to bet, I'm liking the chance of Toronto to beat the Rockets again. But they have to play consistently in both court (offense and defense). The key here is to stop Houston's three's and play solid defense. "Houston, we have a problem".  Just what I thought so, There's no denying that the Raptors is real, they are not push over and they could ended as the number 1 seed in the East.. As I have predicted, they really need to step up their defense which they did, snapping Rockets winning streak. And then when Houston, adjusted, they play smart. Raptors are legitimate.

That's really an impressive win for the Raptors and as Drake predicted the streak ended to his favorite team. I would like to see how the Raptors fare during the play offs, Because at the moment they are the best team in the Eastern Conference. Raptors are really on fire! They are indeed looking pretty good this season. Maybe, this could finally be their season. Yeah they are good but we are still in the regular season, it would be different if they will be in the playoffs and they have to beat the cavaliers or the Celtics if ever they want to be in the NBA Finals. The warriors are waiting for them or the Rockets, so it's a long journey. Yeah, I agree that the real test is the playoffs. But this kind of tough games and two top teams testing each other is a good measuring stick as to how they are going to perform in playoffs. |

In response to the positive test, Golden Boy said that Alvarez would soon move his training camp to the United States from Mexico and put forward additional drug testing.
But the damage has been done already. Intentionally or not. It has somewhat put questions on his 1st performance against Golovkin. Would you really believed his alibi? I mean he is a professional boxer and his diet is on a strict regime, meaning all the food he eats and even the water he drinks is examined and screened by his dieticians. If he get passed by his drug test it would mean a bad thing for Golovkin. He is obviously heavy and Clenbuterol is used for cutting down weight. Blaming the meat he eats only makes a lot of parties involve, I wouldn't be surprised if the cattle producer will be the one to take the fall here.
Every athlete from Mexico should be aware of this issue because its been ongoing for quite some time now. That's why the alibi is somewhat sketchy. I haven't seen the amount of clen found on his system. But if such amount is high, then there will be doubts on him. Maybe its just another excuse from this camp so that they can get away with steroids abuse because Saul Alvarez looks really different. I am sure that he was really doping because his alibi is really funny blaming something that you ate as a result meanwhile he failed to mention the exact food that he ate which caused the positive test in the first place. Yeah, we can't denied that is probably been doping specially for this fight because he wants to take some edge. Golovkin is far more stronger in my opinion, although Canelo has a very tough chin, but during the fight he seems to be like Margarito, the more he was hit, the tougher he becomes. Of course this is just my speculation. |

As far as I know, bitcoin is not yet ban in India and also not yet accepted. So they are still in the gray area as far as bitcoin and crypto is concern. But personally, I think they will put regulations on cryptos. So it the future India would have to pay taxes specially if you convert your bitcoin to rupees. I don't know if boxing fans here are aware of the latest news: For those who have yet to hear, it was announced on Monday that Saul “Canelo” Alvarez had tested positive for “trace levels” of Clenbuterol during voluntary pre-fight screening for banned substances ahead of his May 5 rematch with Gennady Golovkin.

Yes i also think that markets don't need so big price like that , bitcoin good price is 3-6k for now . 12k is to much to get moving again to 20k . We need cheap price and a lot of new money and investors to come back here to starting to buy bitcoin again . Also we need get hype back , nobody talk about bitcoin now on TV like before January when every day on TV talking about Crypto and investing in that.

Yeah, I'm also questioning his intentions of dumping his huge amount of bitcoin as this very critical times. Although it has been reported that he is doing this for several months now so it makes sense that he is the one to blame for all this wild price swings and correction that we are seeing. But as far as the OP's questions, I don't think that we can just delete their wallet. Crypto and bitcoin is decentralizes and no central authority to control and manage the cryptosphere. The best thing to do is advise the guy not to dump it or go OTC and even do a public auctions of the trusted bitcoins on him. |

To be honest, with the current situation and wild price swings, it really hard to think that its better to hold. So you really need to have this mental toughness not to be swayed from this panic selling.
I only hold small amounts of bitcoin, but even with small amounts sometimes I just think of better selling it off and just re-enter the market if there is a perfect opportunity. But I'm thinking that I should long at it for the long haul. This bearish market trend will not go on forever, and we are likely to recover before the end of the year. So I will hold as long as I can and fight the urge to dump.

I check the Press Release of this community and try to understand what the current situation. Of course you need to go around as well and see and read the comments around. As for twitter, I also follow a few personalities. Because sometimes most of them are just creating FUD or fake news. There's no other source better that this community. A lot of "experts and knowledgeable" persons around and I love reading all their comments and interpretations as to what is going on right now. |

I do not know why a proper attire is required to enter a casino. Don't tell me you came half naked. I remember I was forced to get out about something I have not done. I am not trying to show off or something, but there was a hooker who wanted me to have a sexual relationship with her and pay her. I refused. She insisted and then I told her she was ugly. One explanation is that the Mt Gox bankruptcy trustee is dumping a lot of BTC and BCH in the exchanges right now. According to available reports, the trustee is still in the possession of close to BTC168,000 and similar number of BCH.
Correct, but I don't know the timing is really bad. He could have waited a few more days before selling. I guess he needed to llquidate it today. Sadly the effect has rippled already and the market is now southside. Maybe we may see bitcoin going at $8k. But I do think that there will be resistance at $7K and $6K that it will not go further below that price. |

What improvement are you saying? I have to admit that we started this year at the wrong foot and we have been in this wild swings lately and the bearish sentiments still in the air. But I don't think that improvements is needed to push the market up again. The only improvement that I'm thinking is the implementation of Lightning Network. But it remains to be seen because as far as I know they are still on the testnet. It gonna be another tough one to see the price plummeting below $8K tomorrow unless another big whale comes in a make a huge buy order. |

For me, Upon reviewing the Western Conference standing I believe that even the Spurs is in 5th seed they will not make the playoffs and also with the LA Clippers which is the 8th place right now. This is my prediction for Western Playoff Match-Up: 1. Rockets 2. Warriors 3. Timberwolves 4. Jazz 5. Pelicans 6. Blazers 7. Thunder & 8. Nuggets Reason why Spurs and Clippers will not make Playoffs: Check their remaining games. Well i don't expect much from the clippers now anyways and la would probably be better represented now by the lakers. But i'm not counting the spurs off just yet. Pop knows hus team's situation and if there's a team to pull out of a tight situation, its the spurs Good pick, but there might be some few changes along specially in the low seeded. Also I would have to agree with @gabmen that San Antonio can still make it to the playoffs. Clippers is done this year. Losing their key players (CP3 and Blake). Actually I got a hunch that Timberwolves will not make it to the playoffs because of Jimmy Butler's injury or they position might slide a bit. |
