1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge Success Force Bitcoin to Improve on: May 05, 2021, 12:19:41 AM
Doge is being pumped without purpose and is mainly reliant in the opinions of Elon Musk. So if he some day decided to quit shilling on DOGE and FUD on it, he will single-handedly plummet the price of DOGE and may even force people to lose hope on crypto in the process. That being said, it is very unlikely, but an indication that DOGE won't be enough to force bitcoin to improve unfortunately since it also has its own shortcomings that it has trouble solving by itself.
1042  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 05, 2021, 12:15:50 AM
Ahh yes, the Moist god, more and more countries are engaging in these slapping tournaments which I believed originated from Russia. So far I have yet to see a person that hits or slaps harder than Dumpling himself, For sure there are underground betting and gambling that takes place either in the venue or during the livestream among bars and/or friends who watch the fight altogether, this will spark a new form of sports betting if continued.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: May 05, 2021, 12:13:26 AM
I think they would have to integrate a feature in their system that disallows overbetting. With how these casinos go when it comes to sending or informing their patrons of certain changes in the terms and conditions of their operations a lot of people will not be able to follow these guidelines because they wouldn't have an idea that such a rule exists. Unless they are looking to make a quick buck out of people the legal way, they'd integrate such harmless feature in their system in the soonest time possible.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: travelling internationally with a hard wallet on: May 01, 2021, 05:02:13 PM
Why would anyone think of a hard wallet as some form of doomsday-inducing device from the future? It's not like nobody knows about bitcoin nowadays even if it's second-hand knowledge. Besides, the newer version hard wallets are much lighter and much more appealing to the eyes so you don't have to worry about people thinking you're carrying a bomb on the airport. Not unless you buy the ones that weigh a lot however, that will definitely get you screwed. So it's not about how bitcoin is accepted in the country, it is what are the means you will use to keep it with you where ever you are. If you chose hard wallets, that's good. Pick the best based on your need and preference and stick from there.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: May 01, 2021, 04:52:30 PM
f you spend it all now, the one's you'll leave out will have nothing to spend for the rest pf their days. Yes money is superficial and is something that you can get back through time, but you have to remember that almost everything in this world runs with money. If you don't spend your greenbacks wisely, you'll end up leaving your loved ones in sheer poverty, plus you'd leave an unhealthy financial mindset that wouldn't help them rise above the murk you put them in in the first place. So spend, but be mindful, spend but be responsible, spend, but be prudent.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: May 01, 2021, 04:27:36 PM
That news is also a rumor but we now have two expectations whichever is going to be the fight that will happen. I don't know what's next with such news and rumors. If both of these won't happen.
Then what's next? Garcia vs. Crawford?  Grin

The rumor of Manny fighting Crawford did not came from the camp of the Filipino senator, maybe the camp of Crawford were the ones responsible on spreading that while the rumors of a fight between Manny and Mikey Garcia came directly from an individual who have knowledge on what's going on inside Team Pacquiao so i could that the latter rumor have a 95 percent probability of being true  Smiley.

Garcia vs Crawford? No, they all are after Manny.
I'm only giving the idea that these matches are still not yet done in terms of negotiations. And what if there's no match that will happen against Pacquaio then it's like the two will have to spar and take their time to fight each other instead of aiming at Pacquiao.
That's a sarcastic question that I've said.
They'd be fighting for the chance to fight Manny, that's for sure. Although of course they both have the age advantage that sometimes puts Manny Pacquiao to a standstill. Then again, with proper training and newfound knowledge the pound-for-pound king will be able to beat his opponent by knockout, as it is not usual that he beats opponents by mere scoring, which definitely means that when Manny hits, he hits hard as crap.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: May 01, 2021, 04:19:40 PM
Totally agree, fate just a excuse for us to console ourselves, the reason is lack of control,if you keep gambling without control, might be you could win one or twice, but you would lose finally. This is a normal phenomenon for a gambler.
Gamling just for fun,not for life.
That's just how things go, if you can't keep your gambling habits in check you'll just lose the winnings you get, somewhere down the line you'll be selling stuff that are dear to you but you would because you need to support your gambling addiction. You see instilling discipline to yourself doesn't just promote a good win ratio when gambling. It also assures you that your gambling habits are in check and you are not addicted.
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin on: April 28, 2021, 02:12:24 AM
We all know that the main selling point of bitcoin is the fact that it is secured, it is anonymous, and it is decentralized. To create a central-backed cryptocurrency with the idea of it being on par with bitcoin is just plain old rookie mistake, as many coins in the market already did that in the past but because of the fact that it is susceptible to corruption and rug pulls, didn't become successful. This will have bigger chances of happening on coins that are backed by the government by the way so there's that.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: April 28, 2021, 02:09:11 AM
The situation will definitely change as soon as Tesla establishes itself in the industry of cars. The company is fairly new, so it's not a surprise that they are employing multiple ways to keep the profits coming in while still delivering pristine and luxurious cars to the market, as they have advertised. As soon as Tesla reaches heights like those of Ford's or maybe BMW, their stock price will be justified by the profits they receive in creating cars.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? on: April 28, 2021, 02:05:18 AM
Gold's non-renewability is it's own way to limit it's supply. Although of course people will recycle gold through different means in order to preserve its value and keep its relevance to the masses. Bitcoin doesn't have this feature, because every bitcoin is purely identical to another, and cannot be reforged into something else, but that makes it so that every bitcoin you own is secured and is only up to its user's hands to spend or waste.
1051  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bustafish is a total scam | Unauthorized use for bab source on: April 28, 2021, 02:02:25 AM
why you are using telegram for finding new gambling sites when you can use bitcointalk/gambling boards for finding legit casinos easily because the feedback is already posted  . telegram is a risky place because its been used as a hideout of scammers but you did a good job because you exposed lots of scam sites not just 1 by providing that ".txt file "  .

If any owner of bustafish would like to contact me about this
they shall contact you when they already settle thier problems so that you can delete this post and other negative post that you made about them
Telegram provides anonymity, which is also the reason why scammers are practically in love with telegram. But basically if you're a guy who's looking to bust a scamming casino you wouldn't want the site to catch wind of your moves and process, thus this is where telegram comes into play.

I highly doubt that they'd respond to this, it's been a month now and they haven't even given a single reply to back and support their site. So we can safely assume that this confirms that they are indeed scammers intending to make a quick buck out of unsuspecting gamblers.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any new casinos with token "mining" i should check out? on: April 28, 2021, 01:54:56 AM
At first I thought only Betfury does this honestly. But seeing that more established casinos have already done it themselves, and that Betfury only implemented a quite novel and different approach to advertise the staking features of their site surprised me. Nowadays people will flock more to where there is huge guarantees of gains, and sites who offer staking and mining rewards in exchange for betting is the biggest and most innovative way to offer this idea as of yet.
1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Brandt believes that Biden may do a lot of damage to bitcoin on: April 28, 2021, 01:51:57 AM
He's actively making moves against investment firms which is inevitably hurting the bitcoin industry as well. He may have overlooked the welfare of small-time investors like us which could definitely kill off the hope of bringing investment to the common people. Then again, this is the sad reality.
Why do so many people feel that US is the only country involved in the manipulation of cryptocurrencies like BTC etc? There are many other countries involved too people which is why the President of the USA(Whoever it is) is not solely responsible for BTC volatility.

A correction was always expected after the recent bull-run and the tax gain proposal was the driving factor for it plain and simple.
Bitcoin has huge traction here in the US. Truth be told, aside from Nigeria, you would see bitcoin being operated in America itself. That's why regulations like this, affects bitcoin in a very impactful way. Although of course, the possibility of the correction coinciding with these news and issues is there.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Killed Bitcoin?? Greed? Government? Fraud? Idiocy? on: April 28, 2021, 01:23:26 AM
Bitcoin already died a few hundred times in the span of 11 years. To say that it will die off forgotten on this one is a huge fallacious insight. Thing is, as long as people are aware of what bitcoin is, it will persist to exist and be there for the people, regardless of how many supports it or not, as long as there is someone out there with a mining rig, or perhaps a person on reddit making a long post about why bitcoin is the future, there will be people who will buy and support bitcoin.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Usage Among Merchants Is Up on: April 25, 2021, 11:43:50 PM
This will grow over time, as more and more people and merchants accept crypto payments. We just have to stimulate bitcoin's circulation, in order for this to be expedited, but at the end of the day, patience pays hard. So it's good that things are coming in slowly, and with enough support, we can assure a more digitized future courtesy of cryptocurrencies, of course spearheaded by bitcoin itself.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost phone with bitcoin wallet on: April 25, 2021, 11:40:17 PM
You wouldn't be able to get a hold of the bitcoins inside that wallet unless you either saved up a private key or seedphrase needed to access the wallet itself, or anyway you can get the phone back. Otherwise the money is lost and no one, except for a guy who can easily access the phone with some hacking tools, would be able to get a hold of the bitcoins inside your wallet. Let this be a lesson to you on how important it is to back your wallet up by all means necessary.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: April 25, 2021, 11:29:57 PM
If enough people use bitcoin for their daily transactions, then central banks with their fiat currencies will lose their power over the economy. Soon after that people will be flocking in to buy cryptocurrencies because FOMO will be too much for them to take in. Banks will collapse as they won't have any relevance and fight if the enemy is literally decentralized currency. This will also boost the price of bitcoin, but at the same time will amp the transaction time and fee. So there are pros and cons in this kind of scenario coming into fruition.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 25, 2021, 11:15:52 PM
Gambling is addictive, and from that reason alone one shouldn't be letting their kids gamble just because they said so. You won't give crack or meth to your kids just because they wanted to do it do you? Allow them to gamble when they are at of legal age and is able to make their own money. That would be the best time to teach them how to spend and save money as well which would help take them a very long way.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BENEFIT OF BITCOINTALK ORGANISATION IN AFRICA. on: April 24, 2021, 11:55:25 PM
To the surprise of many, Africa is a very progressive continent. The people in there have all the knowledge and skills they need in order to succeed. That's why when you give them anything, they will make the most out of it. The introduction of this forum to Africa is an awesome step towards a world where cryptocurrencies are accepted and used on a daily basis. These people right here will play a huge role in the adoption.
1060  Economy / Economics / Re: First UK Bank Bans Businesses Accepting Bitcoin on: April 24, 2021, 11:52:40 PM
A bank is a bank. It will do its best to ensure that the fiat that it keeps and creates remain relevant for as long as they like. That's why it's no new news to us to hear about banks imposing ban on people's accounts that they have found using bitcoin or using their accounts for cryptocurrency purposes. But the future catches up with everyone, and the future badly needs a new form of monetary system where the power is given back to the ones that circulate it, not the ones that hoard and keep it.
