It seems it is a linker setup issue? But I am unable to figure it out. OS: Xubuntu 12.04 LTS x64 gcc 4.81 libboost 1.55 Thanks for help! https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry/tree/master#buildingDependencies: GCC 4.7.3 or later, CMake 2.8.6 or later, and Boost 1.53 (but don't use 1.54) or later.
id say you've got the wrong version of libboost from that

I just bought in at 12K, bargain prices here. You all stopped believing the developers?
The new wallet update is around the corner
I'd like to see a decent explanation of what the heck is going on. I've offered a theory and I'd really like to hear about any others. I dont buy that it's just whales doing this. dunno if its still down to this a.hole but it might be not been here for awhile but im still holding my mined cinni Looking at the depth chart on Mintpal there is almost nothing stopping a good rally.
For several days (up until today), DRK was stagnant. For the past week, CINNI has had significantly higher-than-average trading volume - hundreds of bitcoins per day until the last day or so. The concern is, if hundreds of bitcoin in trading volume per day over the past week wasn't enough to meaningfully push up the coin, what will? it is completing a head and shoulders reversal pattern. for it to be real it needs a lot of volume on certain points which is what you were seeing. right now we are in the right shoulder which has less volume naturally. i expect it to break out with high volume soon. cinni looks really bullish I am in shock!.........system shut down.........reboot........ something positive OMG Dont get to excited just yet

The wallet will stop syncing when a PoS block is found, always happened to me and requires to backup wallet.dat, delete, restart + resync, place back wallet.dat.
yea figured, burnt coins were mising so now resyncing after deleting everything and restoring backup
|
|
|
dunno if im the first to get one but POS!! unfortunatley the wallets now stuck at block 10354 pos block has 1 confirm tried this: Mandatory Client Upgrade
Hello. I did it, but my client stop syncronization in the block 9614. Delete addr.dat, edit slimcoin.conf and delete all addnode entries. Add connect=144.76.139.111:10000 Remove the connect= entry when you sync completely. deleting all but wallet.dat from %appdata%\slimcoin and resyncing now [edit]worked but pos block and coins lost to oblivion, restoring a wallet backup restored the coins but not the burnt coins . pos may be slightly broken i'd highly recommend backing your wallet up before unlocking each day

could you please explain what will happen if i burn 1 coin? or 0.1?
A UFO will land, steal your peanut butter and the world will end. Read up on the thread and the OP before asking silly questions. rofl, thanks i needed that

There's a bug or something. For example, I received a PoB block. In transactions, it shows (amount) 10.74. But if I click details, it says: +0.202502 SLM
Happened to me 3 times already. Is it a visual bug, or I'm not receiving all the coins I should?
Lol same somehow got 2 burn blocks like this. Oddly though the wallet that mined em was shutdown at the time!!! on sync this morning 2 pob's between pool payments im quite confused as i thought the wallet had to be running for pob
|
|
|
hmmmm, neither this version or the version i built myself run on my athlon II well they run but i get >stratum detected new block >press any key to exit any ideas? i run it with a bat file with no switches ie: minerd -o stratum+tcp://63.141.232.170:3333 -u <WalletAddress> -p x pause both run fine on my i5
|
|
|
any nodes?? can't sync cant extract new wallet either nvm found post, use 7zip

Why are the actual Blocks so small? POW around 12 and POB around 24?
Probably an error in the code, dev was throwing around numbers like 50 and 150. Seems like he did not put the coin through the proper diff test. i Doubt the total cap as well, someone better at math could prove me wrong. hes made it so higher difficulty results in less coins per block - Block time is 1.5 minutes (90 seconds)
- Difficulty re-targets continuously
- Block Rewards:
- Proof-of-Burn blocks: max 250 coins
- Proof-of-Work blocks: max 50 coins
- Block rewards decrease in value as the difficulty increases
- Total 250 million coins

Thankyou so much i'll try this when i get home If it works as im sure it will i'll send you 5SLM drop me a pm with your addy

What hashrates are you guys getting while mining PoW? Just curious.
2.7 KH/s with an AMD APU 3850 with Ubuntu Linux 64 Bit... 500 H/s with the same computer with Windows 7 64 bits. EDIT: Removed the stupid "K" on the windows hashrate i5-4570 win8 x64 - ~2850hps athlon II 640 win 7 x64 - ~2210hps (also running cgminer for X11) sempron (not sure on model but old laptop) ubuntu 12.04 - ~450hps

ok, just one more question regarding burning. I have burned 15 coins so far which results in a slow chance of finding a PoB block. But, is every miner pointed to my wallet able to find this block? Or does the wallet itself try to find that PoB block? Sorry if that's a dumb question, I just don't get that yet ^^
also, can someone maybe link me a picture of a wallet with a PoB block found? is the icon different from a regular PoW block? The icons different it has a flame. I'll post an image when i get home from work if you like? Afaik only the wallet mines pob not other miners pointed at it these should be mining pow Also noticed from burninfo each burn transaction gives u a hash so if u send 15 in one go you get one hash that decays if u send 3 then 4 then 8 u'd have 3 hashes that decay. Presuming this means higher chance with one hash but more chances with 3 like having 1 awesome rig v 3 ok ones. Correct me if im wrong its just how i see it
