I have a question to ask to the dev. team.

You don't want to take the coin to the exchanging sites, such as mintpal bittrex etc.. until the PoW stage is over.

Then what's the problem with making the wallet source available for the miners to download it and letting them decide where they want to save their own coins cause after all it's their own decision?

I mean in all cases, making the wallet available to users has nothing to do with adding it now to the exchanging markets.

So what's the point?
From my understanding, not releasing the wallet is to prevent solo-mining.

If multipools have the wallet, they can solo the coin, making it much harder for Joe Miner to get some coins

This is a good point.

But yet, having no control at all on own mined coins also doesn't make any sense.

This is a concern shall be taken in consideration, giving that there is no guarantee if miners will/will not be able to take control even after PoW period is over.

Anyway thanks for your reply guys.

Net hashrate is just an estimate, it is not ideal and this problem exists for any coin - this is especially pronounced when the network hashrate is changing. Some people think that network hashrate shouldn't be reported altogether as it is not accurate enough. I think that Minerals is one of very few coins where one can observe how network hashrate reported by the wallet differs from the actual one.
Why the difficulty is float? 260 -> 150 -> 250
Is it normal in the case of absence of influence multipool and solo mining?

I understand you, but I can probably throw away a few days of mining if the worst case were realized here.

What we really need is to bug Bittrex about our coin. They were really responsive and willing to list us at launch until some pool ops appeared here Sad

Can we stop talking about IP restriction? It will add nothing.

Something that will be a lot more useable, and needed, is an exchange! Could you focus on that dev? It was one of your main points from the beginning.

Dev, why do i get the msg: worker temporarily banned???

Perhaps this is the case?
Where did you get this message?

Let me explain how the limits will work:
...
2.Hashrate limitation work the following way. Suppose there is a worker with 100 MH/s hashrate. During each 1 minuter interval our stratum checks how many shares the worker has sent and with what difficulty and if this number is bigger than what 50 MH/s worker can send per minute the 100 MH/s worker will be banned until the end of the interval.

Please it's normal 2.641 Mh for 2 cards r9 270x ?
thx for response

I don't think it's normal, even for 270Xs, I have one 280X and mining 3.2Mh

I have one not maxed out 7950, its running 1.7m/hash using newest sg miner, but not the cgminer x11mod, i think that ones faster??

Side note Ip wont work you can lease rigs from many locations..?

I get 3.4 Mh/s with a single r9 280x using the x11mod

Right, thanks mate. My reject rate suddenly went up to 30%, probably due to this restriction tests they are doing.

Mineral Coin For Dummies :

1. Rent 20+ of friends rigs for x11 that all have +-50mh/s from different IP's.

2. Mine with 1gh/s like a boss.

3. Teamview into there PC's and accounts to transfer coins to exchange or wallet.

Result = EXACTLY THE SAME like any coin
