1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: July 23, 2019, 03:20:33 AM
I don't really see the essence of doing KYC for online Casinos.  The infographic here is concise and cool, stating some obvious facts why personally I don't like the idea of KYC by some gambling sites. KYC complicates the whole idea of using crypto for online casinos.

But we as users cannot also forbid the owner of the gambling website from doing that because basically KYC is to show the legality of the user.
and also prevent future problems such as the financial and security of the account itself. and also not all online casino with crypto requires KYC to start play or anything like that.  with certain restrictions. for me as long they dont ask credit card im still safe.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sending BTC from Gambling Site to Binance? on: July 22, 2019, 07:50:19 PM
Does anyone know if there is any issue with this?
Can someone here confirm if there is any issue sending btc from a sportsbook to binance?  Someone a while back mentioned there is nothing in the TOS against it.  I know with coinbase or gemini.. ppl said they would ban accounts if you send btc from gambling site to coinbase and vice versa.
Has anyone done this and if so, anyone ever had an issue with this?

I think it's normal that shouldn't be a serious problem because basically you can check the status of the transaction from blockexplorer and also from the wallet casino you used itself there is no need to have a sign wallet or something like that. if you are afraid of that, why not withdraw it to your wallet first and then to the exchange? transaction fee i think is still very cheap at this time.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impossibility of a gambling system (Why methods don't work) on: July 22, 2019, 07:31:46 PM
Maybe there is a method which can work to defeat the system, but I don't think that every gambler can do that because that will require genius skills. We can only play gambling without having a big chance to win the games, but for sure, we only lose the money at all time. But I am sure that there is a person who can win the game with his luck and that happens only for a few people.

Gambling is gambling. it is impossible for someone to change a destiny in the future except that the game depends on skill. it's totally different from gambling, which relies entirely on luck. if I myself consider gambling the game of mental fighting and guts. and brought with fun not to gettin stress. which I believe there is no method for getting rich through gambling. unless you are the one who runs the gambling business itself.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: July 22, 2019, 07:16:24 PM
Some people still think about that, maybe that is why this problem still concerned with people who do gambling for living or maybe make it instant way to get easy money. But at the end we should know if gambling is something that can make us fun and release our stress feelings. If want to earn money, it better if we get a job.

Many people have already been deeply involved in betting as their main money and many have succeeded and not a few have really lost everything.
but gambling does return to the choice of each individual in managing their finances. if I myself think that even if I win that day I might not be forever I will win.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: July 22, 2019, 07:05:49 PM
I believe parlay is one technique that is very popular because it is efiicient to play it safe and also to gamble in certain games.
the parlay technique is very beneficial to players such as examples like gambling sportbook?
there is a lot of possibility and chance to win. there's no way someone will always be wrong in row.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: July 22, 2019, 06:48:54 PM

If you wanted to crack the code like him, you shoud:
1. Be a mathematical genius
2. Crack the new algorithms for the new system of lottery since its computerized now

I guess being lucky comes to his genius mind in the first place.

Even with the computerized system, I think there is a lot possibily digit would happened. or maybe he put money on many several possibily?  and also possible if the lottery system is updated. and the hash complexity of the old ones replaced may be a challenge. but if he is a genius and got prisoned just because he can do that it is not right. someone like him must be given a special place.
1047  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: July 22, 2019, 06:08:10 PM
Is KYC is benefit to crypto people or not. what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing KYC.

Universal money and Anonymous is the biggest strength of btc BTC, now every country follows KYC and then it can be controlled by someone.

Now KYC is trend in crypto market..... Cheesy
basically the concept of kyc is used to show the authenticity of data and the legality of the user to use the services of a company. even though it was very privacy but someone faced the choice to do it for his sake. I would rather see Kyc as proof of authenticity of data and clarity and truth that is very useful if someday there is a problem from a service to the user, then it can be checked to the original. I think overall for crypto it doesn't have to be, but for services such as exchanges, banks or services like that it should. for the security of the system too.
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: July 22, 2019, 06:01:27 PM
Well most of us here are already aware of the hacking activities of binance and bancor. They are taking practical measures to track down the culprits but the question on my mind is why could coincidentally both exchanges be hacked? Now it appears that the exchanges are not moving at a faster and innovative ways to upgrading their systems and allow these hackers time to study their systems well, identify the loop holes and cause the problem. In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.

In a security system there must be a gap that is very guarded by the system. all depends on the security of the website and the people behind of the website. there is Many reputable exchange cases have to ended horribly and claimed the company was hacked and the coin was lost. if we remember the past like mtgox and other exchange that are trusted exchange at that time. but the possibility of vulnerability of stil systems exist these days. so this why i just believe with my own wallet . im just using exchange for Exchange to real money, not as my wallet to saving money there.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I start a business that offers crypto services? on: July 22, 2019, 05:05:52 AM
What would the process look like?

If I registered a business name and then got some business loans to buy more coin. It would be a HODL business. Or a boutique crypto investment firm. I just want that loan to buy and hold onto a bunch of coin and watch it soar. There would eventually be a legit service to offer through the business but at first I just want a giant loan to buy a bunch of bitcoin.

Sound idea? Yes or no

it requires high trust and serious consistency in running a business. and you also have to understand about the worst case you have to face. because basically you open investment to people. and the purpose of other people entrusting it to you to get a profit too. if I prefer to run a business that provides facilities or services with certain expertise. and open investors to help develop the business and provide more benefits for them in terms of material or promotion.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't US gov buy a trillion worth of bitcoin? on: July 22, 2019, 04:37:35 AM
We all know the US gov rules, dictate to rest of the world.
So if they cornered the btc market, afterwards the btc price could only go up, factor with this  a few btc friendly directives, and a massive coup would have been achieved.
What is the downside?

You got the answer from the Donald Trump tweet yesterday. he just represented that the government would not support it and it said Bitcoin be used for drug transactions? and used for illegal transaction ? even though it was too old news and the news was not fully correct but that statement could make bitcoin look bad again. even myself was disappointed to find out that weet. its written in the president's account read all over the world.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 22, 2019, 04:32:00 AM
I am curious to know if someone continually invested a lot of time in studying a game involved in gambling, further if he had played the game a lot to understand the intricacies involved, then can we call him an expert in that gambling game? If we do call him an expert then we clearly differentiate his experience and expertise from that of a novice. This clearly shows that the person is capable of winning more as an expert than the novice who really does not have the in-depth understanding of the play.

I still believe if we talk about gambling in games such as poker and sportbook because mental and mind factors really affect each game. different from games like dice, roulette, etc. which is based entirely on luck and even if someone wins in the first set of games and there is a factor in the possibility of him being tempted by the next set and the worst possible loss of everything. very likely . and that's what often happens.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: July 22, 2019, 04:27:24 AM

If you're a gambler, you know yourself that we can't avoid losing in the game. Losing is already part of the game because it has only pure chances to win. We should be intellectual and spending money especially on using it in gambling because it might be gone when spent due to greediness. If you wanted to win the game, you will risk a lot of money there but It will just increase your chances.
Really agree with you. if someone is ready to accept instant money he must also be ready to accept the worst possibility. because basically gambling is not a business or a way to get money with certain things. and also gambling is not always to make someone rich. but gambling is also the way a person becomes poor and loses everything. so I always make gambling just for fun and not to explore further.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 22, 2019, 04:02:43 AM
When the experts says the gambling is a game of chance, then no one is sure of winning even a single game and mostly you on the side of losing. In a gamblingm even those who bragged themselves as masters of gambling have experienced more losses than winning games. There are really no techniques in winning a game, it is only pure luck.

Quite agree with your statement with gambling that indeed returns to the players luck.
but some other gambling games are still based on theory, mental and mind. like a poker card. sportbook. it is very different from gambling by relying entirely on luck. for me gambling its pure for killing time and for fun. thats what makes gambling addicted for me.

1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impossibility of a gambling system (Why methods don't work) on: July 22, 2019, 03:46:46 AM
if we talk about gambling in the dice I agree with that. because dice is pure of luck. different from poker which is combined with the mental and mind of the players which are still balanced by theory and logic and all possibilities. but each game has its own advantages and disadvantages. I myself prefer to make gambling only for entertaining games not to be serious about doubling the main money.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: July 22, 2019, 03:11:50 AM
Know your customer (kyc) is one security measure I support and do not hesitate to fill-in all my kyc required details. KYc is being used by exchanges, ico project some bounty managers etc.
But is kyc really needed in gambling section. I experienced a very hectic kyc procedure when trying to register onto a gambling site with them telling me they would get back to me after some day so I wonder what if I got a pressing game I needed to play immediately.
In my own opinion kyc is not of major importance in gambling section. What do you guys think

Depends on where you are betting. it is not possible for you to give details of your information to a betting broker website. because it's very risky for yourself later. we don't know what the data will be used for. and the purpose of the Kyc is to show the user's location and the legality of users using their facilities. i would think twice to do kyc in betting sites. there is tons of websites that will provide better services without doing kyc or giving sensitive information.

1060  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: June 27, 2019, 08:28:37 PM
my opinion is their avoiding some service or third parties that using bitcoin as their adventage to make service like money laundry
or as third parties that can handle people money . so far all i know in many country banned crypto mostly is for the service that are they using for make a payment or transaction. but this still controvertial .
