481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 29, 2021, 10:20:05 PM
Gambling content is included in the adult category. if there is still an underage who sees content like that, it means that he himself is the one to find out. and nothing can limit someone from finding out what he wants to know on the internet. unless there is gambling content that all ages can see and promoted everywhere. this happens on several platforms such as facebook and tiktok a lot of gambling content that just becomes a recommendation that makes other people interested in trying it. can't blame the streamer or viewer. but only blame the platform that cannot limit these thing optimally.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: What event could trigger new bull run and ATHs? on: July 29, 2021, 10:10:07 PM
News about regulation and about big companies will adapt or support bitcoin seems to have a very good impact on the price of bitcoin. now bitcoin depends on adaptation of many parties. like a few days ago about amazon . even though it has been claimed that it is fake news, the market has a positive impact on it. imagine if it's true. surely the price of bitcoin now will continue rising.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 29, 2021, 09:45:00 PM
For someone with let´s say, a net worth of 1M USD or more plus house, hodling 60k until they became 6M would have been not that much of an stress. Do you think it was easier to benefit economically from bitcoin if you were already a bit up in the ladder?

If you take such an example. That is very true . like investing in total assets that you can hold for long-term and holding without any thoughts of selling them again before taking huge profit. Everyone has a different economic level. Of course, those with large capital will be more profitable if calculated from the nominal. but in terms of percentage its the same.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: July 29, 2021, 09:02:30 PM
They always missed bitcoin moment. and when they see bitcoin again they think it's too late but it turns out there is another all time high. And it looks like this will happen again in the future. Becoming a believer in bitcoin is not an easy thing for people who don't really understand bitcoin because there will definitely be a lot of drama in bitcoin. but so far the one who always gains is the holder.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Trade On Emotions on: July 28, 2021, 09:35:06 PM
It happens all the time and I think everyone who trades in crypto must have felt that way. and I think it's a natural thing, the price doesn't go down because you buy . but there is a price correction. indeed the price correction in bitcoin is quite terrible and makes panic. therefore always buy if you feel there will be good news. because of information and news . and the analysis chart in bitcoin does feel works in crypto market. its not completely just guessing up or down.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: July 28, 2021, 09:33:28 PM
If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, which one would you choose? If the boss pays in Bitcoin, would you want it? Or you continue to prefer to pay in fiat currency to facilitate the purchase of tokens you like.
Do you think cryptocurrency payment will be a new trend in the future?

I used to work remotely at a crypto company ( defi exchange ) . and they still pay flat . and for a bonus they also give in the form of crypto. I think the mix between flat and crypto is the best choice. and this depends on the type of payment for what and from what. but if they want pay their worker to be fully crypto / flat or mixed I can still accept and be happy with it but not everyone have the same thoughts as me about paying with crypto. because there are other things such as transaction fees that are still high which is another consideration.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: July 28, 2021, 09:16:20 PM
failure and  disappointments but you can gain useful knowledge in it and if you enhance that new knowledge it will make you more wiser that leads to a great success.

This is the strong point. sometimes failure is considered to be the end of everything. but that is just the beginning of the changes that will make a person successful. but having a strong determination to keep trying from failure is a difficult thing. and there must be a strong motivation. people only want to succeed in one go without any failure and that is very difficult. It's better to fail early than to fail when already successfull.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: July 28, 2021, 09:09:07 PM
I know many people bet on boxing matches and I recently saw a post on an "slapping tournament". I was thinking that professional boxing is kind of questionable as a sport discipline and even more so as a gambling event. It is known that many boxers sustain long term effects of repeated micro-trauma and even some have been know to die in the ring. For all boxing fans and for others that may have a view on this, how is this being considered a fully legal activity being supported? And how is betting of people hitting each other being considered as legal and ethical in today´s world?

Boxing still be categorized like martial arts. and some people said its still part of sport. but the slapping tournament is indeed quite unique because it is not categorized as a sport or martial arts. just seeing who was the strongest with the slap was indeed quite strange. and in my country there is no such thing . looks like it's booming on the internet and going viral and without a doubt there are people who like things like that too. i never saw casino had gambling option for slapping tournament.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 28, 2021, 08:41:12 PM
is any one in this category that can help me with advise on how to go about combining trading and gambling at the same time.

There are traders who adding the element of gambling in trading. but more commonly called speculative. and speculative trading is assisted by elements of reading chart make analysis and trading style of each person, so its like predictions and speculations emerge. So far the people I know who do things like that understand the basics of reading charts in trading.  but yes its similiar to gambling but i think its quite different.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: July 28, 2021, 08:31:21 PM
I dont think so because it is part of the gambling business and there must have been a TOS that was read before gambling. and on average it is clearly stated that gambling with personal responsibility. because it is a personal matter and should not blame anyone but the one who did . in every country has a different tought , culture and rules with this.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Puts Down Bitcoin Use Rumor on: July 28, 2021, 08:15:34 PM
It looks like there is some manipulation going on in the crypto space... Elites pulling the strings? Thoughts?

Also I saw the info on coinmarketcap on the blog and pinned amazon denied that claim. information that brings large companies about they will adapt bitcoin is always happening. first facebook and ebay. and now amazon . Strangely, people still easily believe in hoax news. but I think that hoax news had a good impact on the crypto market but Im not sure this is good ethics or not.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: July 28, 2021, 08:08:44 PM
Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless
I hope others will learn from this

I've also had a similar incident almost like this in the past on an XLM coin and i store my wallet on web wallet and then they updated their wallet and after few years i back again to crypto activity i couldn't recover the password from that wallet anymore. because their new update not able to recover old wallet. if i calculate , there are several thousand usd there. so completely didnt follow any update so possible to lose access some coin.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do you keep allcoins? on: July 26, 2021, 12:06:52 PM
At the end altcoin price will depend on bitcoin price, if the bitcoin price will continue to rise and reach another all time high, it is very likely that the price of other altcoins will also rise. but there may be moments unexpectedly that coin get pumped and get hue profit from it. but choosing coins like that is not easy, in fact many end up losing assets just because they want to believe in altcoins and want become earlier investor and tought they had diamond hands.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: July 26, 2021, 12:02:53 PM
I think it has to do with how a person manages his finances. everyone has a different lifestyle and needs,The simplest way is to record all income and expenses . so as not to exceed what it should or should be. weekly or monthly financial statements are still not enough if gambling is done all the time. having own financial notes for each income and expends in my opinion is more work. it doesn't need to be too complicated or fancy. such as writing in a notes or on a laptop is enough.

495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 26, 2021, 11:44:21 AM
Being a house edge also has risks, maybe if you said house edge can be backed up from other players it makes sense but that's part of the gambling business that requires large capital. and getting players is not easy. a lot of costs are needed. unless you become the house edge between your friends or in a small circle. but in a small scope I think the risk is equally same. that quite difference between running gambling bussiness or only casual gambling.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you really miss it? on: July 26, 2021, 11:31:30 AM
But I did not choose to buy Dogecoin. I didn't see Musk's tweet in time, so I didn't plan to buy it again, but I didn't expect Dogecoin to still skyrocket.

There will be new opportunities in the future. I am willing to learn more about this market and find the next "Bitcoin".

The Elon musk moment happened unexpectedly and it's very natural if you don't buy doge, it's indeed become a trend for meme coins or coins like that, and if you said want to find the next "bitcoin" I don't believe there will be a coin like that. but to become the next ETH or BSC it seems that there are some coins that are starting to exist and almost have similar features and are very likely to have value like these two coins. That's why I now prefer coins that have their own smart contracts or can impact other projects. because it is very possible to have a high value compared to randomly choosing other coin.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i find alt coins before they explod on: July 25, 2021, 11:28:20 AM
There is no sure way to identify an altcoin will be successful or not. What's more, being an earlier successful altcoin investor, it's very difficult to find coins like that at this time because there are many other coins that promise things like that but actually we were deceived at the beginning so basically it all depends on the analysis of every person. sometimes there are also many altcoins that have good concepts and features with experienced developers but do not provide progress or have no value at all.
498  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC from KYC exchange on: July 25, 2021, 11:23:21 AM
for me personally it's okay to buy crypto on the KYC exchange because now it seems that there is still the only safest way to get crypto without getting scam ( if you choose trusted exchange ) and also it depends on where you live too. if in my country there is an e-commerce that sells bitcoin assets as well. This does not require KYC but is also safe because our money is held by the e-commerce.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 25, 2021, 11:19:32 AM
Managing your money at a casino requires self-control. Nice to see that you have full control over your money reserved for gambling purpose. Successful casino gamblers understand the math and odds behind the games, but discipline with money is also critical.

I think many casinos now are concerned about this and they provide something like vault system to people can maintain their money. and it's true self control is very important in managing anything. Back to the initial point in the betting budget, it all depends on the individual and their goals. if for fun maybe only a few % for their asset but for those who are looking for profit most of them put big capital for sure.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: July 25, 2021, 11:14:49 AM
Anything like excess gambling?

which is excessive if you make a large loan to the bank for this or selling or pawn valuable and important asset such as a property or vehicle for this i think that is too much for gambling. the point is if you think your finances are still fine, it means you are still at your entertainment point in gambling. but if it makes a lot of trouble from anywhere like high debt that is excessive and very possible cause many problems.
