I think that now Germany must make a mix of its best players, the oldest and the youngest, perhaps the youngsters are not afraid of the veterans and that is an advantage, but they do not have experience and in a game you need to have experience to deal with certain things, even with arbitration, so if veterans join the team, and youngsters, the team will have a better integration, it will be more complete as I had said before, let's just look at what Spain did in the World Cup, it took only youngsters And they still got kicked out, veterans are always needed in a team so they can do things better. For me personally, it's actually a surprise to see the big decline of the German national team after the great games at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil when they became world champions. I actually expected them to continue playing at the same level and be competitive still in all the major competitions after 2014, but that didn't happen. Maybe they didn't do the generational change well? Is something else the problem? It's really hard to give a good answer. German clubs are still good and achieve good results in European club competitions, but the national team has not been at the expected level for a long time. As I said before, I don't think they will be favorites at the European Championship next year, but as the hosts they will still have an advantage that they can use. @Daniel91 the only advantage Germany has that it can expect more local fan's for their matches, but their fan’s too will stop cheering after a certain point if they see their country player’s constantly playing sloppy football. Graham Potter would be wondering if he’s jinxed at the moment with these injuries and the red card to Felix. Everything isn’t just working out right for him so far at Chelsea. The problem is that they will probably face Man City in the semi final and that will be a though game for them to win. But if they continue with great games, I guess they can win. They last game they played in Premiership ended in a draw with six goals so I expect a good game in the semi final. @JollyGood what a run Rashford is having, and I’m surprised at this because there was a rumour at the start of the season that he would be sold and now the club better offer him some good wages and extend his contract before some big club distracts him with a better offer. Lastly Newcastle definitely deserves a trophy for the way they have been playing, but as a Manchester United fan I can’t wish against my club hence if they both reach the finals then it’ll be really difficult for me to just cheer for my beloved club as part of me will always know that even Newcastle deserves to win this trophy. |

I was expecting some sort of fightback from the Lankans considering the pitch was really good to bat on.
But they really bend the knee and hardly showed any intent in the powerplay and middle order. Even centurion Dasun Shanaka was playing half heartedly and only accelerated his inning when the match was almost dead. Siraj is turning out to be a real wicket taker in the powerplay and he's making a habit of getting early breakthroughs for the team.
I didn't expect any proper fightback from Sri Lanka since there aren't many great players in their team at present. Hasaranga is literally the only player that I remember properly thanks to his epic bowling skills. India will whitewash the Lankans in my opinion since majority of their players are in great form. Also, Kohli keeps rocking and 156 kph thunderbolt from Malik was stunning. Well, it's a high scoring ground and traditionally Sri Lanka has performed well here. I was checking some stats and one time India made a mammoth total of 400+ runs at the same ground and Sri Lanka lost the match by just 3 runs. Sirlanka played very well yesterday, their hard luck was that their openers and middle order couldn't make any runs only Dhasun Shanaka scored a century. Overall they fought hard till the end, Indians overall dominated and 0layed good that's why they havewon the match. @JSRAW while Srilanka lost the match but they yet managed to score 300+ runs against India which is a very strong statement, because while Srilanka doesn’t have any star batman India had their best bowler’s yet they couldn’t contain Srilankan batsmen from scoring 300+ run’s. Furthermore if Srilanka bowler’s can restrict India to a lower score in the next match then we could see them beat team India, therefore I believe that it’s too early to declare that team India will win this series easily. |

Aussies are geared up for BGT and announced their squad for the upcoming India tour.
4 spinners in the squad led by Lyon. Todd Murphy is 22yo and considered second best spinner in Australia, next 2 spinners are Agar and Swepson.
Apart from that they also have 1 part timer offie Travis head, maybe add another part timer Marnus in the list.
When was the last time any of the Australian spinners were able to make an impact in India? Do you really expect Todd Murphy to do something that even Shane Warne couldn't manage? Australian spin attack is being led by Nathan Lyon, whom I consider one of the most sub-standard bowlers in test cricket right now. I have seen Agar and Swepson bowling in franchise T20 as well as in international cricket and don't think that they have the ability to bother the Indian batsmen. And this is the first time that I am hearing about Todd Murphy. He has played just 7 first class matches till now. I noticed that they have included Lance Morris and Scott Boland in the squad. These two may come in handy with their pace (even in dead tracks). And the top order looks solid, with Steven Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, David Warner, Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green likely to make use of the batting friendly conditions. @Sithara007 I agree as I too don’t expect Australia’s spinners to make much impact in India, but if Indian’s dish out a completely spin friendly track then it doesn’t hurt Australia to include more spinners in the hope that their spin bowlers get lucky and pick few wicket's. Lastly I wonder will team India risk making pitches for their fast bowler’s, because they have quality fast bowler’s too but the risk is that the Australian bowler’s can exploit it to their advantage and then go on to win the match. |

The match between MI Cape vs Paarl Royals will begin by 9pm IST. Jofra Archer will be back in T20 action after a while (I am not sure whether he will be included in the playing XI). Dewald Brevis, Sam Curran, Liam Livingstone, Kagiso Rabada Rashid Khan and Rassie van der Dussen are there in Cape Town squad, while main attractions for Paarl are Jos Buttler, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Jason Roy and Tabraiz Shamsi.
@Sithara007 I’m supporting MI Cape for today because I like their squad, and I personally expect that this will be a very interesting fixture as Paarl Royals too have a strong squad. Furthermore I believe that bowler’s too will have a good advantage because SA pitches support bowler’s too, and while this will make the batsman’s life little harder but it’ll provide pure fun for the viewers as they’ll get to witness some competitive cricket being played between these two team’s. |
