I do not think that the Asia cup is going to be moved away from Pakistan. Whatever is happening right now is basically, they are trying to make a big issue out of a simple thing. And I do not think that the Pakistan Cricket Board authority should do anything for which they will have to suffer.
And I do not understand why everyone has to make arguments with the opposing party! Just don’t be dumb and stay away from Twitter for a few days.

The Twitter war between PCB and BCCI has reached a new peak. First there was an announcement by Jay Shah (who is also the head of Asian Cricket Council) regarding schedule for 2023/24.

All this drama is going on, while it is not yet clear whether the 2023 edition of Asia Cup will be moved out of Pakistan or not. BTW, I am disappointed with the fact that they are still restricting Asia Cup to 6 teams. Should have expanded to 8 teams at least. It is strange that the Emerging teams Asia Cup is also restricted to 8 teams.

Jay Shah might be acting unfairly but PCB & Co need to be a bit professional and not act like a rookie.

Pakistan knows that India is never going to help them in any case. Pakistan also knows that India is almost always going to oppose any idea that they have. I would disagree with this. As far as I know, Rameez was replaced so that Najam Sethi (who is very close to the ruling party in Pakistan) can become the president of the PCB. As an administrator, I believe that Rameez was much more capable than Sethi. He was the one who resolved the issues between PCB and the PSL franchises and made PSL one of the top franchise leagues in the world. He had some revolutionary ideas, however some of them such as the PJL didn't worked that well. But Sethi's previous terms were even more disastrous.

@YinShuiSiYuan why would they issue a statement and upset BCCI, and don’t we all know that they just care about their revenue’s hence they don’t care who’s hosting till it’s earning them lot’s of revenue’s. Furthermore I too believe that Pakistan can’t skip the World Cup, and they’ll bend the knee and settle for a heavy compensation but this will set a really bad precedent for future ICC tournaments.
