10561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin should you suddenly die? on: December 15, 2014, 02:20:06 PM
I think that the simplest and the best idea will be to give all your BTC secure info to your partner or someone you trust or love, so that your family or good friends can inherit your BTC funds.
What if you have a car accident, where both your partner and you die?

In this case (specially if you don't have adult children) I think our BTC funds will be lost, like in the real world to.
10562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mozilla removed BTC from Donation Form on: December 15, 2014, 02:12:27 PM
They used to have it in small letters on the main donation form, they took it off apparently. The direct link still works.

It decreased their revenue per visitor by 7.5%

https://fundraising.mozilla.org/bitcoin-donations-to-mozilla-17-days-in/

How do they blame Bitcoin for their loss?
It isn't very logical...

Nope not very logical at all.  Especially, since they based in a 17 day sample size.  That's not even a decent sample size!

Here's the direct link to Donate Bitcoin:

https://sendto.mozilla.org/page/content/give-bitcoin

Although, they have a direct link, from the main home page, it takes about 4 or 5 link clicks to get to this same exact direct link.  By comparison, it takes 1 or 2 clicks to get a Visa Paypal payment option.

Stupid irrational decision.

I agree with you.
It seems they don't think high about BTC and don't believe that many people will send them funds by BTC.
I hope this will change soon.

10566  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you describe yourself? on: December 14, 2014, 10:20:35 AM
I think that I'm average guy, trying to be nice to others, help my friends and relatives when I can...
I guess, it's better to ask my wife and friends about me lol Smiley
10567  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: December 14, 2014, 10:09:43 AM
Regular staff I have to buy every day- food, bus ticket, petrol, cafe etc.
10568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the last thing you bought using Bitcoins? on: December 14, 2014, 10:00:36 AM

10569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Call for action - Tell Amazon what we want! on: December 13, 2014, 10:45:35 PM
It will take time and I don't know if everyone asking them to accept will make it happen. But maybe if actual buyers while purchasing an item talks to the support and tells them that they're having trouble with the other payment instruments and they would prefer Bitcoin as a payment method, that might push them into the right direction.

Very good point.
If they receive just a few request, this will not impress them much.
But, if many people complain them about other payment processors and ask them about possibility to add BTC, they will surely consider this option seriously.
Let's hope this will happen soon but one man can't do this alone, many of us have to follow and support Smiley
10570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2014, 10:34:40 PM
It would be rather stupid to invest  all of your money into bitcoin although doesn't mean it wont be a wise investment in the long run.

I don't think that anybody, any financial guru can predict what will happen with bTC in a year, two, 5 years etc.
It can be great financial investment or great financial lost.
Can anybody be sure about this?
I don't think so.
so, my advice to everybody is to follow this golden rule. Invest money you can afford to loose only.

10572  Other / Off-topic / Re: Family tree on: December 13, 2014, 09:43:39 PM
I'm thinking of creating a physical family tree I could hold in my hands
However I would like to be able to pass it on, so information could be added on later (trough generations)
Any ideas how this could be done?  Undecided

From my experience, the best was to do this is to make family tree online, on specialized services (like myheritage).
In this way, many pother people can find you online, your possible relatives or descendants, your data will never be lost and your family tree anybody can edit (if they have some info about your family tree).

Beşiktaş will win the European League. We had so much fun in Tottenham game tonight.

Besiktas is really good this year, thanks to the coach from my country- Bilic Smiley
I really hope that you will win Turkish league but it will be much more difficult to win the European League.
Many good clubs are still there, like Sevilla, Everton, Napoli, Fiorentina, Inter Milan etc.
It will be very interesting to watch these games next year Smiley

10575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft official announcement of bitcoin integration! on: December 12, 2014, 04:51:50 PM
This is indeed great news. Microsoft and Overstock as Bitcoin accepting merchants provide a big dgree of legitimacy.

Yes, very good point.
I think that average people will have much more confidence to use bitcoin if they see that such ''big'' and reputable company, like Microsoft, accepting bitcoin.
I hope that this is now final ''breakthrough'' and that many more ''big'' companies will follow Microsoft lead and also accept bitcoin.
This will help us to become mainstream, value of bitcoin will raise again...

10576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20 years later bitcoin and goverments on: December 12, 2014, 04:31:17 PM
That means make it illegal to trade btc to real money and vice versa. So if i want to buy food for example and i only have bitcoin, then i will ended up having problem. This reduces the appeal and demand. Like i said no way they can shut it down but just makes your life difficult until you give up.
It's also illegal to drive faster than the posted speed limit.

Plenty of people find ways to do it anyway while managing their risk of adverse consequences.

It will be easier to bypass laws that restrict Bitcoin usage than to bypass traffic laws - after all, censorship resistance is just a software problem.

Exactly and this is the reason I love so much bitcoin concept.
There is no centralization here, some central, main bitcoin office or CEO, so nobody really can stop us!
OK, government can make difficult for us use bitcoin in real, offline world, but online world they can't control, fully.

I may visit you soon to spend my bitcoin Smiley
10578  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you earn money online? on: December 11, 2014, 10:30:18 AM
I tried many ways to earn money online, some with success, some without success.
From my past experience, if you don't have some specific skills (like programming), the best way to earn money online is administrative work on Internet (Lionbridge), PTC sites and signature campaigns at forums.

Really!
I'm happy Firefox user for years and was really happy when they finally accepted BTC.
I don't understand why they now removed BTC from Donation Form.
I may send them complain letter.
If many Bitcoin users do the same, we may force them to change this decision.
