10561  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning!!! Operatr(Hero)- scamer!!! on: May 09, 2015, 04:23:53 PM
I got 2 of his mobile number
already contacted someone who will give real name and address details of him

digging for more info, will share here
Just as an FYI, the account was most likely purchased in February, and possibly again on the 6th so any information you get from prior to that will probably be from the previous owner.

Also any dox information you get needs to be from public sources
10562  Economy / Services / Re: Post from my account on: May 09, 2015, 04:07:55 PM
What account are you wanting someone to post from? Are you willing to pay upfront and/or escrow the "fee" for posting?

I can pay upfront to trusted member. I will prefer using escrow.
Either one works for me, if you wish to use escrow then I would ask that you pay the fee.
10563  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning!!! Operatr(Hero)- scamer!!! on: May 09, 2015, 03:59:11 PM
If that PM quoted in the OP is legit then he is an alt of puzzel.me

The address that was given to the OP to send to is 1CHGSpQB5r3kmvUVyLy8gkGeBKfw2Bpsty which was also posted by rony_90 in this post, and rony_90 was previously identified as being an alt of puzzel.me
10564  Economy / Services / Re: BitcoinPoker.gg/ Signature Campaign! (Just 20 posts 0.05 to 0.09) {FULL :)} on: May 09, 2015, 03:41:27 PM
atsuky only made 5 posts and was not paid. visual111 has only made 14 posts since enrolling and was not paid. ThomasCrowne is strongly wearing the bitcoinpoker.gg signature however is not enrolled in the campaign. He appears to be trying to scam signature campaigns by changing his signature periodically.

Everyone else has been paid via txid 0bf064af5aaf9628b283dbbd3b2056db7d6a727bb329db9208821476872cbfb6

If you feel that everything went smoothly please feel free to leave positive trust

It is my understanding that the campaign is closing, and I no longer have sufficient funds to pay everyone. I will wait 48 hours for any potential disputes then will return any excess funds back to bitcoinpoker.gg to the address of their choice.
10565  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: May 09, 2015, 06:32:30 AM
I was about to use your service until I saw scammer Twipple wearing your signature that he is getting paid to wear. I would not be comfortable using your services until if/when you do a better job at disassociating yourself with scammers. I am about to send you a PM about this as well.
10566  Other / Meta / Re: Quickseller Gave me a negative trust Without Considering any possibility on: May 09, 2015, 06:28:00 AM
Bump . Quickseller care to reply in the thread ever ?
No. I have addressed your concerns about you not being an alt of tacoman71, although I do find it extremely suspicious that Ume just so happens to PM me within ~24 hours of you PM'ing me to have your negative trust removed and just so happens to post in this thread very shortly after you created this thread.

I have updated my negative trust to reflect that you created the scam accusation in order to buy the account for a lower then market price, effectively scamming the owner of the account of money that he reasonably could have received from a sale of the account under reasonable circumstances.

Sooner or later your ISP is going to receive a complaint from bitcointalk

Lurk moar Smiley

So you are using tor to register accounts? Then I will ask how much are you paying for the right to troll me consistently as you are? I am sure that the units of evil fee aka tor tax is going to add up.
10569  Other / Meta / Re: How much activity can you get per day? on: May 09, 2015, 12:49:23 AM
This was answer earlier today.
Belongs in Meta.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.0
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Sig Ad?
*plonk*
In the future you really should use either the search function or this thread prior to creating a new one.

[snip]

Boxkite would love to answer you, but his account was banned.
Because banning burner accounts is super effective in making friends, restoring order & fostering rational, constructive debate.
Perhaps he should buy himself a quality pre-owned account from one of the douches selling them? 'Coz I'm guessing this one's not gonna last too long.

...or I can just make a free one in ~30 secs Smiley
Geeze how many accounts did you create in the last batch that you created? IIRC you have now had 7 accounts banned while making these trolling arguments against me and the practice of engaging in a free market.

Sooner or later your ISP is going to receive a complaint from bitcointalk

lol.

If you do choose to do business with this person it is highly advisable to use escrow and to have very detailed conditions as to under what circumstances escrow will be released to the seller.

10573  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.25 BTC Loan No Collateral on: May 08, 2015, 05:41:13 PM
Sorry for locking. I was pissed off. I have unlocked it now for further discussion.
I talked to Neotox too and he said that I shall rather give him this account for collateral.
I am happy to give the account for collateral but I have a pending deal on this account which will complete tomorrow. So can I put this account as collateral on Sunday to be on a safer side?
Giving your account as collateral was not a term of the loan and I don't see any reason to think that the loan should be re-neogeoiated as of now. Neutux should have asked for a signed message from you confirming the terms of the loan prior to funding it (and should get one prior to taking any account as collateral to avoid any claims of hacked accounts).

I think the most fair thing to do would be to try to find an old address that you have previously posted and sign a message confirming the specific terms of the loan. This would likely give him a little bit of piece of mind and IMO would be the most fair thing to do.
10574  Other / Meta / Re: Someone hacked my account on: May 08, 2015, 02:26:30 PM
Got reply by PM.

sir
i bought this account back in feburary and now previous owner is trying to scam me.password of this account was never reset with email or security question.I changed the password of this account using the old password he gave me and after that changed all the information.the old owner also deleted previous inbox and outbox message of this account so i can't proove that he took the loan,i hope admin will recover the deleted PM and then he will know that account was not hacked.
I received a similar response. He had essentially told me that he purchased the account on the forum and I asked him for the thread the account was advertised on, which he has not gotten to me back for yet. He told me that the PMs in the account in question were deleted but would check his other account to provide some kind of evidence of the sale.
10575  Other / Meta / Re: Why was there no notification of password change? on: May 08, 2015, 12:41:15 PM
If it was just changed, and changed once ~two days ago then I wouldn't say the account was hacked/sold, at least not when it was last changed. I would think that if the account was hacked that the owner would be posting in meta complaining about not being able to access their account.

There have been a number of instances where someone hacked an account, didn't change the password and then tried to, or actually took out a loan without changing the password.

It would really be better to get a signed message rather then to check for a recently changed password as that gives a much greater certainty.
If a password was changed in the last 3 days or reset in the last 30 days then a warning will be displayed in its trust page which you should be looking at if you are considering doing any kind of business with.
10576  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.25 BTC Loan No Collateral on: May 08, 2015, 12:28:40 PM
It would probably be a better idea to get a signed message from the OP confirming ownership of the account and documenting the terms of the loan. This will prevent any future claims that his account was hacked or that the terms of the loan were not agreed to.

Anyone considering to lend (or otherwise do business with) to the OP should search the lending section for any open loans if they are going to sufficiently protect themselves so having the personal text say there is an open loan is a moot point IMO
10577  Other / Meta / Re: What is the best way to get my negative trust removed? on: May 08, 2015, 04:29:11 AM
I've been browsing this forum for a few months, but I didn't make an account until yesterday when I decided to request a loan. At the time I wasn't aware of the whole "No collateral no loan" rule. It seems unfair that I got negative feedback for just asking. Is there any way for me to get the feedback removed now?
If you wish to keep this account, then you can simply remain active on the forums for 30 days, avoid additional scamming behavior and ask nicely after 30 days and I will remove it.

If you simply abandon the account for nearly 30 days and then ask then I will most likely not remove it.

10579  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] ★★★★★ BTC faucet w/ Adsense earnings ★★★★★ on: May 07, 2015, 10:37:58 PM
It is my understanding that adsense will not actually payout for faucet-like sites. From what I have been told your account will show as earning a certain amount of money, however they won't actually pay you because the traffic quality is so poor.
10580  Other / Meta / Re: How can a hero account only have 99 posts? on: May 07, 2015, 10:18:28 PM
Its been a day now. Does your rank downgrade when you delete "x" amount of posts? Is it suppose to and for some reason its not doing it?

That is certainly the outstanding question.  And from the look of things, no one really knows the answer.  Either rank doesn't go down (like activity) or it does on the Tuesday upgrade or there's a bug.  Time will tell.

The activity does go down. You can see that TheGambler has 101 activity whereas he used to have 480+. The real question is whether or not rank goes down as well.

Another good person to ask might be shorena who is running an account deletion service. She deletes all the posts except those which might be related to scams. You could ask her what happens to the accounts after most of their posts are gone:

http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=953262

I know for a fact the rank went down. I am however not certain how long it took. I know it was increasingly harder to delete or report posts as the activity went down and thus increased the time I have to wait to perform certain actions.
It really is a moot point now because James Volpe can no longer edit, or delete any of his posts (nor can he delete any posts in self moderated threads) and theymos is going to restore all the posts that he deleted.

I also noticed that, strangely Spodermen is showing as a newbie when I know for a fact that it was at least a full member, if not a senior member previously.
