10561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start buying bitcoins? on: January 07, 2018, 02:55:55 PM
ya I believe bitcoin price will come back 18000$ soon. but should be carefully because people are investing eth. maybe they realize is better.

We have surpassed $17K but it looks like its just below that price. But I think we can really rally and touch $18K. Yes, people are also investing it ETH because both of them are really good for long term hold. As for the time to invest, again, there is no specific time although its better to buy at dips. However, people can still buy today because I really think bitcoin will surpass not only $18K  but can go to $20K at the end of the month.
10562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading : BASED ON COINMARKETCAP :) on: January 07, 2018, 08:12:44 AM
You can use that as a guide but not all coins in the top 100 have great future, some coins are only pump and dump and you might be blind in those coins just be sure to do some research first about the coin you want before buying it

Exactly. Look at it as your guide specially the top 20 coins. I don't go further go top 100 though, I just look at the top 20 and see how it moves and then make your judgement. I think if you have been early, like invest on them in 2nd week of November last year, you should have made a lot of profits because altcoins have been pumping that time and some of them have been dump lately, there are still coins that is being pump at of the moment. Goodluck to you.
10563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 07, 2018, 07:47:27 AM
I don't know when is time to stop.  Grin
I stop when I lose everything.

In my own experience, specially in a last based casino, I can't really stop when I still have money in my pocket to gamble. Eventhough I said to myself that its time to go home now because I'm losing, I can't fight it inside. And will play all my money I got from my wallet and eventually lose it all.

But during my last trip in a casino, I change strategy, I left my wallet and I bring just enough money to gamble. If I went busted then there's no way for me to withdraw. At least I can control it that way and not chase my lost which may result in more losses on my end.
10564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Number One Reason NOT to invest in Crypto on: January 07, 2018, 07:12:38 AM
I could understand that you you are upset since your coins has been robbed. But that does not mean that all the coins in this crypto world are robbed ones  and its holders were all thieves. You should be careful with your coins because it's nothing less than money as it is a new form of money. We must see the positive effects of bitcoin which it has created in the economy as well as Personal lives of people

Yes, we should understand where he is coming from. I would also be frustrated and rant about it if I lost my coins from hackers or scammers or thieves who are really milking crypto's because there's a lot of people who don't know how to protect your coins or their funds.

I understand correctly if I do a bad protection of the raft, is it possible that I can be hacked?

You are one example of what I have been telling. You are a newbie and didn't know how to protect your coins. Of course everyone is at risk to be hack. That's why you should learn first how wallet works and how to secure them. I won't spoon feed you but you can go around the forum and search for answers how to better secure and protect your coins. Just a friendly advise to you.
10565  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: January 07, 2018, 06:42:05 AM
It's the Christmas effect where whales are selling their bitcoin stocks and other alternate coins from their wallet. We are now in the first month of the year and i think bitcoin is getting back to normal already. Green days are here already.

Yes, the overall picture is really changing now, last 2016, December was a month were bitcoin made a good run to $700, while 2017 bitcoin went bearish because investors have cash out to enjoy the holiday season. So it really unpredictable. And now its January and people are now getting back and want to make new money for this year. And as as result, bitcoin is still getting back and climbing to $17K, which is a good sign that the bearish sentiments have ended, a reversal is on its way.
10566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD - But the Alt-s are SKY-ROCKETING to the Moon! on: January 07, 2018, 05:33:54 AM
lmao, I guess you are still in your dreams... keep dreaming Grin

Just give him a break mate, he probably has a lot of investment in alts, but bitcoin will not die, actually its making some kind of rally of as late, is pushing to $17K now. However, alts is still going up, which means money is flocking to the market. Its good news to everyone.

Bitcoin is just sleeping, and when it wakes up, it will pick up and wait. Grin

Of course, it just move sideways but sooner it will rise up again as what we have been seeing in the last couple of days. And we all know that when bitcoin wakes up, it will go on a massive bull run again.
10567  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance closed for new users on: January 06, 2018, 09:48:34 PM
I think I have no choice but to wait for them to open. I was thinking of opening an account last December, unfortunately, totally forgot it because of the holiday season. This will just be temporary, I mean they are doing server upgrades for sure to be able to cope with the growing popularity of bitcoin. I just hope that it wouldn't take months for them before accepting new members.

You can now register on Binance through this link - https://[Suspicious link removed]/4aedAA
(https://launchpad.binance.com/register.html?ref=18010883)

Thank me later  Cool

Sorry dude, but I wouldn't trust a newbie account posting a suspicious link. LOL.
10568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Incoming: BTC to the MOON ? on: January 06, 2018, 09:17:54 PM
If it ever comes then bitcoin prices will go to skies for sure. Moon will stay far behind. Grin

if they will able to feed thousands of transactions for a sec, it will rea ch mass adoption for sure!!

Its sidechains, so it depends on how the 2 channels open their transaction.

However, just what has everyone pointed here, it would really bring the price to the next level if the implementation becomes successful. The issues has been irritating us that we need a resolution ASAP. And those who are complaining can't have reason to attack bitcoin because of its high fees. Maybe we can convince them to go back to the ecosystem because LN has already resolved the issue. Let's see how it going to be. A bull run is coming if everything went smooth during its activation.
10569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big Daddy Bitcoin is Back & Your Alts Might be Hurting Because of It on: January 06, 2018, 08:58:14 PM
Bitcoin is back up $17,000 and with that nice move, the air has been sucked out of some of the hottest altcoins of the past month like XRP, XLM, ADA and more. Is now the time to lock in profits, buy the dip or something else? Let's talk about the day's action and what we might see in the future.

Oh yeah, bitcoin is back but I don't think that altcoins will bleed heavily. What we are witnessing is somewhat new. Both bitcoin and altcoins can grow together. Which made me to conclude that there are more investors again flocking to the market after they all rested during the holidays. Japan and South Korea leading the new again. If altcoins are going to bleed in the next coming days, it will be slow and not a huge dump as everyone is expecting.
10570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [UFC 219: Cyborg vs Holm. NEW EVENT!] The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 05, 2018, 05:35:10 PM
Had my notion to pick Cyborg to win cause she looks like a tough girl in a way just like Rousey was before her exit out of the UFC ring for good.
She could be the next champion for the women of the fighting sport we all know now.
The new generation if you will. Wink

lol cyborg has been fighting for over 12 years and has been a champion forever already how can she be the new generation?

She doesn't belong to the new generation, but please don't forget the fact that Cris Cyborg is only 32 years old. She is at her peak and may remain in the ring for another 5-6 years. Anyway.. leave it. I heard that she refused to fight Amanda Nunes. Any wild guess on why she refused?

Nunes is campaigning at 135 lbs and Cyborg at 145 lbs. Its gonna be one superfight if both of them gets into the Octagon. But from what I have read, Cyborg doesn't want to fight a ballooned 135 lbs, although Holly is did campaign at 135 lbs, I don't know why is she given a ticket to fight Cyborg. But at 145 lbs, there no one really to challenge her because that division was made because Cyborg can't squeeze to 135 lbs anymore.
10571  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin for 15 yr olds on up on: January 05, 2018, 05:02:36 PM
I have a project geared towards the youth market.

We have a great character (already people like it) that can bring the crypto-trading concept to kids.

It uses some augmented reality cool stuff with the WOW factor.

It is actually very hard to beat conceptually.

We have contacts in the music industry, people 95% sure you've heard of.

If this is something you are interested to invest in, please contact me.

Looking for maybe 10k in BTC to 100k in BTC for some share in it.

You asking people to invest in your project?

Why don't you introduce it like in an ICO so that you can attract real investors in your project? Looks like you are begging for someone to invest in a project that we don't know if its going to succeed or not. So how can you attract investors then?

If you have really a good project that is unique and targeting the youth, I suggest you better think of other ways to really get potential people to put cash in your project, otherwise this is just another way of scamming people here. And you might be possible red flag for doing this. Be careful.
10572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 05, 2018, 04:44:00 PM
We saw a Great game between warriors and the Houston rockets . KD didn't play this game but we saw Steph Cury and clay Thompson who show up and put magnificent shoots . I saw a Great them of Houston rockets tonight even if James harden didn't play . Huge performance from CP3 but still not enough to beet the warriors . They went out of gas in the last quarter and the 3 point shoots of Steph curry just finished the job . I still see the rockets a big threat to the warriors for the western conference finals because with James harden in the court the rockets will not be beaten easy . We will see what happens in the playoffs

I don't know what happened to the Houston Rockets during the last quarter. They were on level by the end of the 3rd quarter (90-90), but the Golden State Warriors won the 4th quarter (and the game) by 10 points. If I am not wrong, something similar happened during their last game as well (against Orlando Magic). During that game also the Rockets went out of gas in the 4th quarter (but still managed to win the game).

GSW is on a roll now since Curry went back on the game. He has shown some kind of second wind in his career and his shooting in really impeccable. As for Houston, yes, it looks like they are out of gas when its crunch time. How many games did they lost entering a lead in the fourth quarter but suddenly fading in the last minute? Their lost against Boston is one good example. I think they are still a team to beat in the Western Conference, but it they keep running out of gas in the fourth then chances are they will be in for a long series in they reach a playoff spot.
10573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: January 05, 2018, 04:22:23 PM
What other cryptocurrency are you using and which casino are you playing at? BTC is getting to expensive to be depositing and playing in just BTC.

Yes bitcoin is too much expensive now. That's why every gambler is excited to win bitcoin. Every gambler now was greed and longing to get plenty of bitcoin to become rich quickly. Gambling is good when it comes to bitcoin talk. This is the best way for me to save for the future of my kids. That my dreams will come true through bitcoin. I will wait this moment to be a part of rich person in bitcoin. Everybody will grab bitcoin now because on its amazing price now that is so very expensive.

Bitcoin is gaining ground once more almost touching $17K so its really hard to gamble when the price is going up. We really love to gamble, but if the price keeps going up, sometimes to better to hold than you gamble all your bitcoin and hope that you will win, otherwise all your bitcoin could be gone in an instant. Although I still gamble online, I have to limit myself, that's why I would just go to a landbased casino and just play it there. At least I can only bring amounts that I  can afford to lose.
10574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: January 05, 2018, 04:03:44 PM
I do not know if you have this in your country but here in the Philippines we have a comic strip cards we call it text.
We flip it and the winner gets the bet cards.
Also we bet marbles and plastic hero figures.

That is some of my childhood games, unlike today that every kid are playing on their phone or tablet.  Wink

LOL mate. That was long time ago and time changes very quick. I used to play it back in the days, however, when the advent of technology, everything changes.

If I'm not wrong, my first play in gambling is when I won $15,000 in a parlay game. I never expect that that's why I'm happy, but because of that's I was become a gambling addict. Everytime there's a fight of basketball in NBA even a local I always bet.

Sometimes I win but most of all I lost, I just want to stop but it's hard for me to do that. So I limit now betting in gambling.

Damn mate, that was a huge windfall you got there if you really won $15K. I will go shopping around with that amount of money and treat my friends. Sadly though, it looks like gambling has given you a taste of medicine resulting you in being addicted. That's what we call beginner's luck and then gambling will suddenly eat your mind and soul becoming a addicted one.
10575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and futures. on: January 04, 2018, 08:11:55 PM
What do you think about the fact that the market is expected to collapse soon because of the fact that bitcoin costs about 15,000. But futures were sold at 17,000, 18,000 and above? Many predict very difficult times for the market.

What do you mean it will collapses? Can you site a good source to backup your claims?

Its just the nature of bitcoin, price moves upward or downward, even last year we have seen a lot of ups and down but bitcoin didn't collapse actually if went even further and no one really thinks that it can reach $19K in 2017. So to say  that it will collapse is total ridiculous. It may be facing difficult times, but a total collapse is very unlikely.
10576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 04, 2018, 07:41:59 PM
I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?
Bitcoin will increase $50000

Nice prediction, we all love to see the price goes to $50K. However, we don't know when its gonna happen. I'm sure that we all know that bitcoin as of late have been very bullish and even been challenged by Ripple in terms of marketcap.

And as the question on the OP, we have seen bitcoin fall several times but was able to get up multiples times as well. Its just another challenge that bitcoin will have to face in its storied career.
10577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 04, 2018, 04:36:35 PM
Im surprised with the low seed Dallas Mavericks giving headache for top 1 Golden State Warriors in their recent game. Dallas Mavericks able to erased 10 point deficit in the final minutes but as usual, Splash Brothers came up for the Warriors with the highlight of Stephen Curry hitting the winning shot avoiding the possible overtime. This is what Im saying in my posts here I think week ago that Mavericks, even at low seed, can able to upset dominant team as we have seen since the season started.

I think some of the bettors got some decent earnings today for risking handicap (+) for the Mavericks.

Final Score is: 125 - 122 GSW

Did has been the trend lately if I'm not mistaken, teams making huge leads before the opposing team made a mark and try to close out the game. But this time, it didn't work before we have Steph Curry here. Since coming back, he has been spectacular. Although it will really made a lot of people happy if Dallas wins because they have a beat, in this case, we can't really deny how Steph is for the Golden State, they can win without him, but its much easier if he is playing for the team. What a screen though, and Dirk was late picking up Steph in the three point line.
10578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm so overwhelmed on: January 03, 2018, 10:18:22 AM
Today my portfolio went into the 4 digits, and while that may not be a lot to some of you, it's more then I've ever held before.

I have a love/hate relationship with this subreddit, I browse it everyday but also think you guys are the biggest greediest cunts I've ever met.

And no I don't hold RaiBlocks, and not looking for a reason why I should.

I just wanted to say thanks to crypto for giving me a passion.

Congrats if you reached 4 digits because the price is now picking up. I'm also ecstatic as well when my portfolio suddenly grow after a few months of holding specially last December.

Everyone here is in for the money mate, so I'm sure that you will find a lot of greedy cunts around. LOL.

Railblocks? its been dead for quite sometime now.

Everyone here is very passionate about crypto, and most of us really see it as their bread and butter.
10579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bettor place a 40,000 (AUD?) bet on Nick Kyrgios to win the Australian Open on: January 03, 2018, 09:35:35 AM
That guy is crazy, LOL. Nick Kyrgios is a huge underdog to win the AO. The only logical explanation that I can think of is that the guy wants to see a Australian to with AO in 2018. I checked Nick record's on AO last year and it looks like he only gotten on the 2nd round.

I believed that the guy has talent, but sometimes he has the tendency to lose focus and have some attitude problems as well. He is still young and others have really saw some potential in him. But I guess the needs to mature more, and with that said I don't think that he will win this year AO and goodluck to the guy who bet on him. Grin
10580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [UFC 219: Cyborg vs Holm. NEW EVENT!] The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 03, 2018, 09:16:52 AM
I'll go with Cyborg even though she is very cocky but damned that girl is a monster she backed up every trash talk she inputs just like what Connor Mcgregor does. So if you are going to bet between she and Holmes go with cyborg the monster.

What the hell are you talking about? Did you know that the fight was already done. I'm sure that you didn't read and just comment here. Please go to youtube and see some highlights. Cyborg already won the fight and its one of the greatest fight that we have seen for the ladies division.

@bbc.reporter, yeah, probably Conor with fight Nate for the trilogy and will just wait for the winner of Khabib vs Ferguson.
