10581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Covert to Cash, large amounts of Bitcoins? on: December 21, 2017, 11:03:00 AM
Hello, I am posting this question for a friend who owns some 40+ in Bitcoins. Does anyone know what is the best way to covert large amounts into Euros? Friend resides in Cyprus. has questions regarding taxation- in case she decides to transfer large amounts to her bank account. Does any one have experience in setting up an off shore account? What is the best way to convert into hard currency?  (in terms on lowest taxation, etc. )
Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Localbitcoins is the best logical choice to encash your bitcoin. But you have to be very careful. Just look for a trusted member and don't just exchange 40 bitcoins in one transaction. I suggest you do in small portions and spread it out amongst different trusted in localbitcoins.

You can also try exchanges as well. But there's a lot of documents that you need to submit. Just look for local exchanges that will allow to to convert your bitcoins to your FIAT.

As per off shore accounts, I haven't any slight idea. But for me if I'm in your shoes, I will go with localbitcoins. Goodluck.
10582  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bicoin price on: December 21, 2017, 06:51:18 AM
why bitcoin price is down and when stable in previous price

There are several reasons why the price of bitcoin is down. Simply people are cashing out this holidays. Then want to take profit and spend it this Christmas. Or people are moving funds to other investments like altcoins. You also need to understand that when there is a demand, the price goes up. Basic law of economics.

Most importantly, you need to hold and not to sell when the price is going down. That is the worst thing you gonna do. You just hold on it and wait till the price rebounded. Usually bitcoin has shown that it has the ability to recover from such pullback. You need some patience though and not panic.
10583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: December 20, 2017, 11:46:19 AM
playing gambling sin or not it depends on their respective religious beliefs, of according to my beliefs gambling in religion is a sin for getting money is not kosher from the results of gambling.
Yes its a sin for many but regardless it is because the needs of the people is much bigger thats why even it is a sin it can make them a money or double their money to buy what they want. Wether its a sin or not gambling will be in many peoples solution for money problems.

To each its own. For me, gambling is not sin. Although my religion says its a sin. I don't give a ****. I want to gamble and nobody can stop me. Plus you just don't throw that argument about religion. Everyone has a choice in life, not even religion should dictate what you gonna do.

We are not in the Middle Ages anymore, time has move forward. Everything, including religion. Even the Pope in Rome is changing a lot of old Catholic traditions. So for me, it's not a sin to gamble. If you felt a slight guilt because you think that you are making a sin when gambling. Then stop, simply as that.
10584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 20, 2017, 10:51:39 AM
Milwaukee Bucks able to passed Cleveland Cavaliers 119-116. The game was really good overall and all I can say is !@#$%. Dwayne Wade goes into Miami Heat mode again but end up short. Kudos to all Bucks squad who able to produce double digit score by 5 of their roster.

This is how you see Lebron James' dominance at his post peak age. 39pts, @14-22FG , really a wow. He still being compared to young players like these on their recent game, The Greek Freek. Who's next?
Too bad for the cavaliers, they were short, finally the Bucks were able to win against the  cavaliers and they are developing well with the new addition which is Eric Bledsoe, he help a lot in the offense who scored 26 points tonight in a 10-16 shooting, that was amazing, I think he already found a good place for him to say, I hope he'll stay healthy so we can see him in the playoffs.

Actually everybody who has watch the game that Milwaukee Bucks will win because they are up with a huge margin in the 4th quarter. However, Cavaliers fought back and the complexion of the game change. And at least Milwaukee didn't melt in the 4th and find a way to win in a very close game. I thought they will collapse again, similar to their previous lost.

However, Eric Bledsoe did good in offense, his 3 was very critical to put the Bucks on top again. And yes, if he remains healthy, he will bring a lot on the table for the team.
10585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Casino or Digital Casino. Whats is your Poison? on: December 20, 2017, 07:57:05 AM
Hi brothers.

New question for you.

What is your best way og gambling.

Real casinos or digital and why.

I prefer the real ones because i can drink a beer or some cocktel or whatever.

some of them have people singing and good mood...

But the digital casinos have some magic too, specially because you can bet in your pijamas...

so, what is yours?

Good day

I love to play both of them. But I'm leaning towards land based casino's now. I just go there even if I'm alone because I love the atmosphere and friendly conversation with fellow gamblers. Also, you will feel amazed on how someone wins from nothing and see them hitting jackpot and you will see their joy and emotions.

One advantage of course of online casino's is that you can play it at your convenient time in your home. But with the increasing price of bitcoin, its gonna be hard to control yourself depositing huge amount plus confirmation is slow. And there's the issue of withdrawals, sometimes you have to wait specially if you won big. You will see a lot of scam accusations around because they can't withdraw their money.
10586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: December 20, 2017, 07:30:49 AM
We cannot pay our members payouts via Bitcoin anymore, this is completely impossible.
We sent payments ranging $1 - $10 with fees of $2 - $6 already 5 days ago and these payments are unconfirmed.

I agree. I was surprise with the current rise in fee's. Yesterday, I want to transfer some from to cash it out today. However, the fees are insanely high.

We are going to change our approach and be among the first businesses that pay in Bitcoin Cash and stop paying in Bitcoin.
It's just impossible to work with Bitcoin anymore.

I don't know. I don't have bitcoin cash to begin with and I'm not sure if I'm going to support this coins. I don't trust the people behind it.

Are you guys wondering why people move to Bitcoin Cash? It's not only because of speculation, it's because Bitcoin in its current form is a dead zombie walking in Crypto land.

I don't think that they are moving though to used it as mode of payment. They are moving now because they are just pumping it and take profits just like the last time they did. Bitcoin is not a dead zombie, though its really becoming more of a investment rather than a true P2P that we all want it to be.
10587  Economy / Economics / Re: EU Crackdown On Bitcoin on: December 19, 2017, 04:41:16 PM
https://youtu.be/xS-eWwwmcoo

It's just unbelievable what's coming out of the mouths of these people. Terrorism, money laundering? Banks have had a monopoly of those for a long time, now a more transparent technology came out, they'd start accusing it of those crimes?

Considering that these bankers has also talked about removing the insurance in bank savings accounts, it just strikes me as revolting for them to say all these. If people felt secured with their money these banks are holding and then loaning away with massive interests, then maybe people wouldn't feel the need to find other ways of keeping their money.

Sigh, guys, they've finally taken notice and has become more serious now. The battle has begun

Doesn't surprise me at all. EU has been against and feeling threaten by bitcoin and cryptos. And they all makes excuses and covered everything by throwing the terrorism, money laundering issues to really ban bitcoin in any form.

The battle has began months ago. Although criminals has the intent to hide their resources and foot prints using crypto's, but I don't need a outright ban is needed for bitcoin.

Just try to keep an eye on an exchange or have a proper regulations around it will do. A total hammer ban is not needed. But let's see we all know that its really hard to stop bitcoin and crypto's now. Its has began. Next year will be another big year for us. It's gonna be like a cat and mouse game moving forward.
10588  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin going up on: December 19, 2017, 04:24:37 PM
Is the trend now still going up? What about its price correction, when will bitcoin correct its price?

At this point the trend is still up, but we're close to a point where things might become very interesting. In case we do manage to break through $20,000 in the coming days, perhaps weeks, we'll see the rush continue to extend further. If we remain below $20,000 for a while, we'll likely experience a short term decline. How far we'll decline remains to be seen since it depends on how much panic there will be, whether or not deep pocket entities are looking to pool their efforts together to get the market to sink as deep as possible to shake off weak hands, etc. If you're not a trader, then just keep holding through all this, because everything that happens is nothing more than a short term occurrence.

Good point. Getting to $20K and maintaining at its level is 2 different things. Because $20K is the new mental barrier for most traders, such barrier that they will might immediately jump at it and cash it out for easy profit causing the price to go down at significant levels. There are a lot of manipulators still, and we don't know what they will go once the price goes to $20K.

So yeah, holding is the only logical thing to do if you can't buy at this range. And then try to observe the trend. If you really think that its best for you to cash it out when it goes to $20K then by all means dump a few and enjoy your profits this Christmas holidays.
10589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 19, 2017, 03:57:28 PM
Is there anyone over here think that Golden State Warriors are overrated with there big 3MVP ? They just can't do much on the Lakers for today even win with a close score.
No, they are no overrated, the only reason why they cannot dominate the Lakers because they do not have a complete line up today.
Curry and Green was out I believe, and also you cannot underestimate the Lakers, they have been playing very well at home, the last time they played it also went to OT and curry played that time.

How can you call them underrated when they already shows that's there's no issue with their MVP? Then already got a ring last year. It's just this year they are not getting all the breaks. And teams do sometimes looks like that. Every other great teams in the past like Lakers, Bulls and Celtics and even Miami.

The problem arises when they can't get out of the slump, but they have been there, they know what to do specially when they backs is against the well. I predict that their form will be back when we are getting closer to the playoffs. But now its too early to say that they are underrated.
10590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: December 19, 2017, 03:03:53 PM
Gambling addiction is somehow a way of life by others. Its part of their daily routine. They tend to make it as their livelihood or leisure. I am not against it. Its their right. However, if it will compromise other's lives then that's the problem. They must be responsible of doing so and they must know the consequences and possibilities either positive or negative that may affect or effect.

So it really depends on your background and your upbringing I guess. Because most people who have been addicted has one time or another has crossed with a gambling addict as well, which is usually in his inner circles of families and friends.

But I know that we all have choices, we can either stay away from it, or be addicted. That's why for others growing it, they find it as a way of life because they can hear and see all around him at a young age gambling.

I myself was in that situation, my father is addicted to gambling and as far as I can remember. And when I grow up, we both became addicted and betting together. But that was long time ago, he already passed away like 10 years ago, I was able to control and mend my ways now.
10591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if Bitcoin Price Crashes on: December 19, 2017, 02:27:53 PM
What would you do if Saturday Morning you wake up  and Bitcoin Price Drops to 0.89 cents?
Also I would love too hear opinions on what would it take for something like that to happen.
I imagine President Trump would have to outlaw bitcoin or something of that magnitude at this
point right  Huh Huh Huh Huh
or even better What would you do if Bitcoin Skyrockets too 2,5 million USD per Bitcoin  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
HOLY CHIP!!! I would Buy my own Island and make myself The king and have hundreds of children with my hundreds of wives
because I would immediately divorce This one definitely trade her in  for someone who doesn't talk so much blah blah blah .....
and is always moving my damm shoes Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry
IF I PUT MY SHOES SOMEWHERE I WANT TO FIND THEM THERE IF I WANTED THEM IN THE CLOSET I WOULD PUT THEM THERE

It's really impossible for bitcoin to drop .89 cents, I can't think of a scenario that will make the market crash to unbelievable proportions that you have describe.

Even if Trump, will ban bitcoin to that effect if won't go down that fast. And you need to understand that there are buyers who are waiting in line, willing to buy for every price correction. Who wouldn't love to buy it if the price go down by at least 50%? EVERYONE

As far as bitcoin going to $2.5m, then all of us will be rich, sky's the limit. Anything you want to buy, you can get it. I will probably just re-invest it in real state property. Would love to buy several apartments and have it rented. Easy to maintain, no stress. You are just waiting like monthly to get paid. Simple as that.

10594  Economy / Economics / Re: Israeli PM: Bitcoin Could Replace Banks on: December 14, 2017, 11:02:26 PM
Well if he issues this statement really, then this is a bold move coming from a leader who's nation is very controversial. But I have to disagree with him. Crypto will not make banks obsolete. It can't. What I'm seeing is that banks will not to appreciate bitcoin, but will be very interested behind the technology, - Blockchain.

And I think he also see's bitcoin as bubble. Everyone is really thinking the same. Bubble or not. Bitcoin is really here to stay for good. Specially that lots of institutional firms are getting into the act of accepting and offering bitcoin future contracts that solidifies bitcoin or crypto staying power in the public.
10595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long awaited Bitcoin correction(+) on: December 14, 2017, 10:41:13 PM
Everybody thinks, that Bitcoin is "to the moon"-only asset? Grin

Nope I tend to agree with the analysis you put forth in your first post and I too think there will be a similar correction. I thought however it would already have begun by now but I think perhaps it is waiting on the CME launch of futures which I believe is the bigger set. Will be interesting to see what happens after Dec 18th I know I am ready for either direction.

Agreed. We should look after Dec 18. Bitcoin has been consistently settling around $16K-$17K lately after CBOE bitcoin future contracts. So it would be really interesting to see if this can be maintained after Dec 18 or a price correction or even crash will happened. Let's see how it goes.

But personally, I think that all this futures contracts seems to lessen the volatility of the market. If you have noticed it. lately there's no wild price swings, it will always stays at the range of $16K-$17K at the end of the day. So me thinks that this is cause by those financial institutions getting into bitcoin now.
10596  Economy / Speculation / Re: NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY!! on: December 13, 2017, 10:58:30 PM
After the continuous price rise for long,  bitcoin is somewhat stabilizing now and we can see some dips now, I think that whenever the price goes little low it is a good time to buy since the growth of bitcoin won't be stopped, it is having a bright future and those who are buying and holding it will be rewarded more.

It is settling around $16k-$17K nicely. However, I can't buy at this price, I would just rather hold my coins and see where it goes. Just maybe if the price goes down a little, I might have some extra cash to get into the market once again.

But I'm happy seeing the price at this range and maybe at the end of the year, $20K is still possible. But I wouldn't mind so really see the price going above $10K in 2017. Its already above 1000% growth for this year alone, which could be considered as a major milestone for all us of holders and investors.
10597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE WOLF OF WALL STREET explains why bitcoin is a bubble on: December 13, 2017, 09:52:53 PM
Jordan Belfort aka wolf of wall street had an interview on CNN where he was talking about why bitcoin and all the cryptocurrency are just a bubble that is gonna burst and warned everyone of the risk of investing in it. the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsaU4-AUW2Y

Is this totally a new video? Didn't click the link.

He already bashed bitcoin last month if I'm not mistaken that's why I'm asking if this is a new video, otherwise I already read what he says about bitcoin.

Haven't he heard that there are a lot of institutional investment firm getting into the act lately? I guess everyone really wants to open their mouth and say something about bitcoin to attract media attention. Bitcoin is gaining popular by the day, and if you want to be relevant, just talk about bitcoin and I'm sure that you will get the needed attention you are looking.
10598  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: December 12, 2017, 10:41:52 PM
In my book, the changes will just on the financial side of everyone. So for me it will not change everything. But the changes that we are going to experience will lead to a better life because bitcoin has given us opportunity to earn money. The beauty of it is that it given everyone a equal opportunity. How many out there have no regular jobs and turn into bitcoin to survived? A lot.

But as far as going to 1 million, well we could get to it, but its gonna be a long road before getting there. Its not gonna be easy road and let us be realistic, we may never see it happen in our lifetime.
10599  Economy / Economics / Re: TIME FRAME TO REACH $25,000 on: December 12, 2017, 10:14:31 PM
Right now the price is $17K, that's about $8K away from the goal of $25K. So I think we are getting closer and closer. I would assumed that around mid 2018 this price could be cross.

The effect of this financial institutions are looking good. NASDAQ has said that they will likely do the same bitcoin futures contracts in Q2 2018. This alone could push the price above $20K around the first quarter and once we get close to the date when Nasdaq open its doors, its gonna be madness again. FOMO will set in once more and just maybe $25K will be just around the corner then.
10600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading or working in signature campaigns? on: December 11, 2017, 02:47:48 PM
What do you think should be done?
These days bitcoins are not given directly in campaign but tokens are given and very less campaign give bitcoins purely.
What would you do?campaign or trading?

What should be done? Are you just here to earn from signature campaign alone? If you answer is YES then with the current state of campaigns right now, its better to do trading. That's why I thank the guys who advises here that signature campaign is just a "stepping stone", once who earn from it, used your savings and earning and learn trading because signature campaign can't be a good source of income if that's what you see in signature campaign.

Well you can do bounties and earn tokens which can be head start for you in the trading world. You will learn you sell your coins and that's a good experience to a beginner. But just don't rely on signature campaign, look for alternatives to earn bitcoin or ethereum.
