1081  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: May 21, 2023, 03:41:19 PM

I remembered you already posted this in March that it would come in that month. Now in middle of May it's just in beta testing?

Not the fasted I suppose. Wonder how hard it could be to implement a currency.   Huh
Your concern is valid. However, I had a long chat with the team yesterday regarding the updates, etc and I can confirm that it's not about implementing USDT, it's more than that. They have planned the implementation of a few blockchains so they can attract more users. In addition, they are working on Flush original games and many more. All these take time to get implemented. From the discussion with the team, I'm satisfied enough to say that they are planning something bigger to make sure players get the best pleasure in flush. Hopefully things happen faster.

The hacker is from which era? Badbear isn't any more stuff for a long time now. If I'm correct Badbear was an admin back in the day.

Edit- I just had a quick Google search and found this attempt isn't a new attempt. The hacker used the same message and trick back in 2017 too- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2251364.0

I haven't received any email. So, it seems the hacker is using the email list from 2015 hack.

1084  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: May 20, 2023, 05:29:15 PM
I just had a try to withdraw from whirlwind and realized that I can't manually input the amount to get withdrawn. The amount is pre-selected based on the amount I have, kinda feels like the chips we had in ChipMixer. If I select this, I will have some balance left in whirlwind. When I tried to pay to note and donate, I was able to manually input the amount, then why it's not available in the withdraw tab?
As I previously said, I don't want to receive interest from the whirlwind anonymous mining, can't you block note public address from the pool? I think it's possible, isn't it? If not, I will have to donate the fund to you.
1085  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: What are they referring in outputs? on: May 20, 2023, 05:07:34 PM
790551x2803x0 means that the coin has been created in block number 790551 in the transaction number 2803 with output index of 0.
Thanks for the explanation though I'm still confused a bit.
When I explored with the block number in the explorer, I can see #0 is the coinbase tx (mining reward) and then 2903 more tx. Out of these 2903 tx, my tx index is 2803, is that correct? If so, how is this indexing works? Based on the timestamp or based on the fee rate for which miners include a tx in a candidate block? Seems I'm very much a noob on the technical side of Bitcoin even though I'm a Legendary member here lol. I have to explore a lot to learn more.
1086  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Where is the private key on Electrum Android? on: May 20, 2023, 04:01:16 PM
Not so good. I noticed a lot of changes in the windows wallet version too which I didn't like a lot.

I don't use mobile version but on desktop as my hot wallet. However the 4.4.2 version seems complicating the features.
It took me more than half an hour to figure out the "Pay to many" section today morning when I tried to send payment from Flush Campaign. Even when I tried to import CSV file, it didn't work, don't know what was wrong then though it worked now lol. Well it's not complicated, it's rather uncomfortable due to some significant changes.

1088  Bitcoin / Electrum / What are they referring in outputs? on: May 20, 2023, 03:10:37 PM
I had lost my earlier wallet due to a system crash and couldn't recover it. So, I had a new install of the Electrum wallet. I can't remember if I have seen this in an earlier version or not, maybe I didn't notice lol.
In the following image, for the output section, there are 3 figures. The first one is referring to the block number and the last one is referring to the output number. What about the amount in the middle- 2803? I can't find any information about this. The same applies to the input too which is 208.

1090  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Flush.com Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary on: May 20, 2023, 12:19:40 AM
I don't criticize Little Mouse or Flush, however I will just quietly say that I think that the previous week should have ended before subtly changing the pay rate from 90 USD per week to $4/post (max $80 per week).
You didn't wait for the update. It will be in action from this week. No worries.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 10usdt if you open account at binance and verify it using my code on: May 19, 2023, 05:37:41 PM
First of all, can you tell us which 100$ reward you are referring here ?
If I'm correct, it's 0.01 USDT to 10 USDT for each verified user you referred on Binance but the reward is in the form of a trading Fee rebate. As I'm promoting my referral link through my cryptocurrency blog, I'm getting a few referrals every now and then. I got the same offer as OP and I'm lacking 15 USDT more to reach $100, so I can withdraw the fund (as a trading fee rebate). OP, if you are thinking you are going to get them as USDT, I think you are missing some info (or am I). They are going to give you a trading fee rebate which still is a good offer though.
1092  Other / Meta / Re: Gateway time-out Error code 504 on: May 19, 2023, 09:09:53 AM
It was down for everyone for the last few hours. I used to visit the forum once in a while. I tried a few times and it was down all the time.
We have never seen such long down time. Maybe some internal work is ongoing, maybe the imgur issue as theymos was also looking for a solution.
1093  Other / Meta / Re: [get yours] Images from imgur on: May 18, 2023, 05:27:21 PM
We can get all the images from here and upload them manually one by one by going to respective threads. I have a lot of pages and have uploaded a lot of images. I don't know how it's going to help me. It's going to take a full day bitcointalk schedule from me. Well, I'm aware about the Tryninja script. I will possibly have no choice but to use that one.
1094  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: May 18, 2023, 05:14:15 PM
Is there like an A.I. that can Determine if a post is worth to be merited or not? If there is no such thing like that then you guys do it Manually?
It's a manual process. There's no need to determine with AI whether a post deserves merit or not. Every one is free to share merit to anyone if they think the post deserves merit. It's not something like others have to agree. If I find a post merit worthy in my opinion, I can share as long as I have available smerit. Smerits are sendable merits, for every 2 merits you receive, you will have 1 smerit to send.
There are merit sources who can generate a certain amount of smerits every month.
1095  Other / Meta / Re: Clarification about Merit on: May 18, 2023, 04:11:30 PM
It won't be removed. It will remain as it is regardless of the post gets deleted or not.
1096  Other / Meta / Re: Images are not shown after buying copper membership on: May 17, 2023, 01:00:25 PM
Because the images were uploaded in imgur. That's not anymore working because of some changes from imgur part.
You can upload the images on talkimg.com and use here. Talkimg is dedicatedly built for bitcointalk community (not official image hosting from bitcointalk, thanks to joker_jossu).
1097  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 16, 2023, 07:22:52 PM
WTF! I never thought anyone would think of being such dishonest here. I usually check participants randomly even if it's not a pay day just to make sure everyone is active or not. Have never experienced this until now.

Received the payment from duelbit now wearing signature of BetterCaulRaul
That freaked me out for a second, as a 'caul' is an anatomical term and it made me wonder what the hell that campaign is all about.  Lol.
That's a kind of instant exchange.

Quote
How did this scunt wind up wearing two signatures long enough to get paid by both campaigns?  Maybe I'm missing something very obvious, but I've always understood that if you're in a campaign and change your signature even briefly, it's noted by the campaign manager....somehow.  I never understood the somehow, but is that not the case?  And if it were as easy as switching sigs and trying to fool managers, we'd be seeing way more of these shenanigans.
When you are managing a lot of campaigns, it's not possible to check everyone every day to make sure no one is removing signatures. Shan85 took advantage of that. Managers usually check on the weekend and when one manager paid the weekly payment, Shan85 changed into another. It was supposed to be noticed earlier but it took 4 weeks almost.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Minimize your transaction fee with Electrum wallet on: May 16, 2023, 06:47:59 PM

For inputs, you can reduce the input number by consolidate your small inputs when network is not at high demand from users. Then you can make consolidation with very cheap fee rate.
For reducing transaction size, you have other ways too but it doesn't apply all the time. Consolidating the inputs when the fee is low is a very great solution but in case, if you miss doing so, you can try spending different UTXO in case you want to send a small amount. For example, right now, in my signature campaign address, I have 4 unspent outputs(0.0015, 0.004, 0.005, 0.005). I tried to send 0.001 BTC in normal mode without selecting any coins(inputs) and the fee with 1 sat/byte was a total of 400 sats. It's because it was either taking all the unspent output as input or most of them while with my first UTXO, I could send 0.001 BTC. In that case, there would be only 1 input. I tried and it was asking for a fee of 200 sats in total.

To do so, you have to enable "Show coins". With enabling that, you can see all the UTXO you have in the menu. So, when you will want to send funds, you can check which of your UTXOs can fill the amount and thus, you can avoid using more inputs. This will help you reduce the transaction size and thus, save some fees.

You can only use this option in Desktop wallet, not in android app.
1099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.4% People from Bangladesh Hold Cryptocurrency on: May 16, 2023, 05:37:17 PM
The percentage is not much higher in more developed countries.
According to Triple A list, here's the top 5 countries most crypto ownership (by individual holder).

USA (46 million)
India (27 million)
Pakistan (26 million)
Nigeria (22 million)
Vietnam (20 million)

I don't know how much accurate this data is, not having China in the top 5 list is a surprise. I know China has banned cryptocurrency but it's also true that they have a lot of crypto users. Anyway, having 4 million from Bangladesh seems a great figure regardless. I believe this is going to be twice in the upcoming bull market. That's what attracts noobs investors lol.

But I don't know what crypto they are using. The problem is, it's probably not bitcoin. Because right now it's fluctuation pretty hard to for some people it's not really safe to hold their savings in BTC.
Maybe they are holding altcoins, maybe bitcoin but that doesn't matter. Trust me, I can guarantee that most of the investors from Bangladesh has been introduced with cryptocurrency because of memecoins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. I know a lot of people who was able to be rich by investing in Shiba Inu. But at the end of the day, they are cryptocurrency user/holder or whatever you tell them. Someday, they will turn into Bitcoiner maybe.
1100  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Withdrawal Fee manipulation on: May 16, 2023, 04:45:15 PM
I'm just wondering why only withdrawal fees for bitcoin are too high, not only on binance but on almost all exchanges? It seems, for whatever reason, like they don't want customers to withdraw bitcoins and want to keep them on their wallets for as long as possible.
Most exchanges charge far higher fees than the actual network fee. I can't remember if I have seen few exchanges which only charge the network fee. If I can remember correctly, Coinbase don't charge a lot of fees in their wallet service.
FTX was offering almost free withdrawal (limted withdrawal, 1 per day if I can remember) but they couldn't survive. Right now, OKX charges 0.00027 BTC per withdrawal which is fair enough (considering what other exchange charges) though the network fee isn't that high right now.
