10821  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any whales left out there? on: October 02, 2017, 08:08:50 AM
Are there any players that wager more than 10-20 bitcoin a day? I want to chat. I wagered over 165 Bitcoin last week on CoinPro.fit alone.

There are a lot of whalers out there that are even betting more than 20 BTC. But I doubt that they will resurface because they want to remain hidden from the prying eyes of a hackers. The link you gave is your gambling website and I don't see any 165 BTC wagered by you. This is you just promoting your website.

Oh, okay. I see what you did here. Tongue You announced yourself as a whale by saying you wagered 165 BTC last week and then you provided some link that I don't know if legit or not (not even bothered to click it). This is definitely an advertisement to the site that you mentioned above. I know what you're trying to do here but I think it is not correct to do it here. Why don't you make a proper thread promoting that site and provide additional information about it. That would make more sense if you ask me.
He already did have a proper ann thread and it's not gaining that much exposure though. This thread alone is already catching up in terms of views. Suggestion for OP, why not add some nice feature like progressive jackpot would help attract more gamblers to bet in your site or increase your house edge so you can do more promos.

He has already a signature campaign in place. So I'm pretty sure that maybe he can attract whales and gamblers in his site. But it is just another dice site so I don't know if people will play there as most of us has trusted PM any other dice site. So it will be good if he would include the features you mentioned to that it can attract more players. Goodluck though and welcome to the gambling community.
10822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are there any translation campaign for newbies ? on: October 02, 2017, 06:36:44 AM
As I know noone would really want newbie to translate paper about crypto. Being newbie means "having less information about crypto" in community's eyes. So I suggest you to follow forums more and rank up.

Correct and newbies, tend to "scam", if I may add. So you need to rank up before some projects will trust you doing translation for them. So its similar to signature campaign, no space to newbies to join. Just consider yourself making you first journey on crypto as a baby or newbie but for sure as you can knowledge and experience in this forum you will find translation and signature or bounties that you can join. You just need a lot of patience and time before you can rank up. I wish you luck and enjoy the journey.
10823  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ [FULL] NITROGENSPORTS.EU Signature Campaign ★★★ on: October 01, 2017, 08:47:34 PM
You guys haven't got paid for 2 previous weeks? Is the manager still alive? Maybe you should contact Nitrogensports and ask if they're aware of the situation and in contact with your manager.

The campaign manager already tell us about the payment for week 42 and 43 and we do not have to worry about it mate we have more trust in nitrogen and notaek.

Are you sure about that? It's been a week since you wrote that and you still haven't received a single satoshi. If I were you I'd start losing that trust.
If they are fucking with you for so long it's either they don't care about you and this campaign or they are in financial trouble. If I had money with them I'd withdraw ASAP.

I have received in full my last payment (3 weeks). Thank you Notaek and Nitrogen. And Goodluck to the rest of the participants.

Great news! This campaign will be running for at least 2 more weeks, there may be another extension after that.

Thanks for the good news mate. Smiley
10825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to place token after ICO on: October 01, 2017, 09:29:19 AM
Hey everyone, please help.

Which exchanges are placing new tokens for trading?
Maybe someone had an ICO not long ago, could you please tell where have you placed your token?
What prices and conditions do exchanges have?

Thanks for help!

Did you try Tidex? https://tidex.com/

Their official Ann Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1769969.0

They supported Ethereum and Ethereum based tokens.

They said that they list coins free. Better send them hello@tidex.com and clarify things with them. Although the catch is that they are located in Russia.  Smiley
10826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stratis on: October 01, 2017, 09:08:14 AM
things are going slow at stratis. if i'm not wrong, they announced master node but it didn't come and delayed.

but i think price is at dip. at their roadmap it says Marketing for 2017-Q4 . so when bitcoin settle i think stratis will rise again.

I think the masternode or breezenode is still under testing if I'm correct. And the last update was a "Improved blockchain data storage".

https://stratisplatform.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/code/overview

They are also making a headway regarding the Breeze Wallet. You can also see it here:

https://stratisplatform.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WIKI/overview

I think they are really working hard for this project so likely that this is just a dip that we are seeing. And once all the project in the pipeline is completed, we may see the price go up again.

10827  Economy / Marketplace / Re: China Down Price Down vs Valve Perfect World on: October 01, 2017, 08:39:11 AM
I highly doubt that they are doing it to intentionally profit.

they are doing what any government would do, of course the Chinese government is different from other governments, but many ICOs are created with the intention of stealing money from investors and the exchange has already had many dark stories and that is why I think they should be regulated, something that may happen in the near future

I agree with setting a proper regulation so that they protect the interests of investors and properly deal with risks involved. There are really a lot of scams ICO and their intention is to really steal money from investors. But having a well regulated law, this may somewhat limit those who are thinking of scamming more investor. There are a lot of reports saying that they will require license or permit for those company who wants to raise large sums of money. But this time they will be scrutinized by whatever body will give them permit to operate. But this remain to be seen though.

10828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Today, 1 OCT 2017 THE DGB WEEK starts!, you want to earn?? on: October 01, 2017, 08:25:43 AM
I totally agree with all the above posters have said. DGB needs to put some hype about their coins again because it has slowly died and almost totally forgotten. And thinking that they have been in the game for 3 years now without any significant growth, I doubt that any investors would just put their money in it. Personally, I have given up on this coin long time ago. The project seems to be promising at the beginning, however, I don't see any significant updates from the dev that's why the community stop investing on them. It's really sad to see it becoming one of those coins that has stay out of the limelight already, but used to be a good prospect initially.
10829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrencies regulated from October 1 in China! on: October 01, 2017, 08:01:30 AM
Aren't all the exchanges operating in China supposed to be closed by now?

I see OKcoin still with trade volume, and others too.

I think they are still up to Oct 30 including Huobi to operate if I'm not mistaken. the justification is that those 2 exchanges are too big and needed more time. But there are some who have closed already. Including btcc and viabtc. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2218358.0

BTCC is still operating in the BTC/USD pair, from what we can see. But the BTC/CNY pair has ceased operating. But for localbitcoin will take over and it looks like they are increasing everyday. So bitcoin trading still continue to flourish in China.
10830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: October 01, 2017, 07:34:14 AM
There are not many benefits from gambling that I know of, other than passing time and seeing it as a form of occasional entertainment.

I really don't understand what is the benefit someone from gambling. Specially if you have been in the gambling world for so long. You may have experiences losses but you still don't stop from playing. I guess is just passing time or sort of entertainment. But if you are losing money so it doesn't give you that much benefit isn't it?

I also used to gamble and based on experience i agree with the benefits that you gained on gambling. However for me, mentally i had been able to improve my analytical skills since card games which i used to play requires analytical skills and the longer i played the better i become. Emotionally i think it help me improve my emotions on winning and lossing. In addition to this i think gambling somehow helped me make some money since i was able to buy some useful things at home  whenever i won something big. But to top it all i thinks it really developed my personality now. How i see life today and how i control my life now is based on all the experiencea i had in gambling

LOL mate. There are other forms that will enhance your analytical ability. Yeah, if you make some money that is good, but what if in the long run you almost got bankrupt or your bankroll swept? You going to lend money to continue and try to recover or just completely quit gambling? (which is hard).
10831  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: October 01, 2017, 07:16:39 AM
If there are billionaires investing in bitcoin, what more could a ordinary millionaire does? Billionaires, with so much wealth accumulated still think ways to find more money. So bitcoin is a logical choose because they don't need to do anything here. They can just used a hedge fund manager to buy bitcoin for them. So its really possible that they are really pouring cash in the ecosystem and pumping the coin. There are some who voluntarily came out telling that they have indeed investing into crypto's while others choose to by private about it. Nevertheless, its a good thing that at least we know someone who really think bitcoin as a good invested rather than people attacking and ignoring bitcoin and saying nasty things about it.
10832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin processing going slows for anyone?I need urgent help on: October 01, 2017, 07:08:52 AM
there has been a surge of transactions in the past 12 hours (give or take) and i saw Antpool mine a couple of half empty and empty blocks which made things a little worse and that has caused a little bit of backlog which always leads to higher fees than normal, so if you paid the normal old fees you obviously see a delay because your transaction priority will be lower compared to others.

try switching to a wallet that gives you proper fee estimations all the time so you don't have to experience these types of issues.

This could lead to another blocklog if Antpool continue to do so. I remember when there was a split, the mempool suddenly encounter another issue as well which was traced to F2Pool mining empty blocks. This need to be resolved so not to cause another delay for those who have been doing transaction. So I don't know if this is intentional of the part of Antpool.

I guess the OP needs to wait before his transaction can be confirmed. I suggest used a wallet like Electrum that let's you set your own fees so that if you are in a hurry and wants it to be confirm on the next 5 blocks all you have to do is adjust the fee and you are good to go.

10834  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-28] North Korean hackers’ attempts to steal bitcoin are a huge wake-up on: September 29, 2017, 01:15:37 PM
No surprise here. The North Koreans have been isolated and the only way to survived is to have funds. So attacking South Koreans  exchanges and stealing lots of bitcoin would be the logical thing for them to do. They are on the opposing site, so one way to destroy their enemy is to attack their financial systems. I hope that South Koreans would protect their exchanges against such attack. I also read that North Korea is also doing some bitcoin mining so bitcoin for them is like a life saver. They are all relying on it so that they can live be self reliant and remember the West has put a embargo on them.
10835  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC new Era or Just bubble? on: September 29, 2017, 12:42:07 PM
It has been discussed many times already. A simple search would give you the answer specially regarding bitcoin bubble. Since 2011, there have been numerous threads about it. But if you are asking about new era, yes its a new era because we haven't seen anything like it before. And there are risk involved in investing in bitcoin because the price is very unstable. But as trader or investors its up to you on how you manage this volatility, you can either hodl in for long term or sell it to take profits.
10836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin phased out on: September 29, 2017, 12:08:20 PM
I don't see any altcoin that can "phased out" bitcoin. It has already established itself as the dominant coin and no doubt that it remain as it is. Remember the so called "flippening"? They said that it could happen last May when Ethereum has its peak days. Many are preaching that bitcoin is dead, etc.. But what happened, it didn't and Ethereum lost its grip while bitcoin continue to soar and even got to a new ATH. So they say BCC/BCH might overtook bitcoin, but this remains to be seen. Bitcoin has already gained the trust of most members and investors and its hard for them to be swayed into another direction.
10837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to place token after ICO on: September 29, 2017, 11:49:11 AM

No, don't used Coinomi. Someone has found vulnerabilities on the wallet and it looks like they haven't fix it. So its not safe. Here, take a look at this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2215088.0

And as far as the new tokens is concern, you have to check which exchanges are they going to list it. I saw others listing it in hitbtc, others such as liquio.io. So it really depends on the ICO project itself. That's why you have to follow them eventhough the ICO is completed so that you are updated as to where they are going to list it.

Based on my experience, I only used myetherwallet to store my token. Its not automatic though, you have to put the information of the token before actually seeing it in your wallet.

The problem that I want to list  the token on the exchange, for trading. Our team is having an ICO and it's almost completed, but though i'm trying to connect with pretty many exchanges, I do not receive answers. Am I just such a looser? Grin ;DxD That they just do not reply to me. I  really have received only few answers(

Not to burst the bubble mate, but your team should have look at it before even having an ICO. Its a priority and it looks like you have forgotten about it. No you are not a looser. Maybe you and your team are very busy that's why you have this problem today. If you have your team, then your marketing arm should tell exchanges what your token is all about what ERC it is compliant with. I think sooner you will got your tokens listen after a thorough examination by the exchanges you have applied for. Any idea what would be the the price of your tokens?
10838  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is this a safe way to buy a nano s? on: September 28, 2017, 12:08:39 PM
Hmmm tough one. I guess to be on safe side I think i will just buy from the main site but that peace of mind will probably.cost me at least double the price once i factor in inyernational shipping. Lol. Oh well.

Yeah its a tough call indeed. "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is". We all know that bitcoin has been in the limelight lately and everyone want's to take advantage of it. I would just buy  from the main site as well, so that if anything goes wrong, you can sent it back for a replacement. Just be careful. And used your better judgement. Better be safe that sorry dude.
10839  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCmixer.biz — High volume bitcoin mixer on: September 28, 2017, 11:29:34 AM
We increased our reserve to 35BTC.

It's obviously a great thing that you managed to expand your reserve, but in reality, it doesn't hold much value since people can't verify if this is true unless they actually send in 35 BTC, but that won't happen. Are you okay with signing a message from an address, or addresses containing these coins in private to a trusted forum member? It will help you gain some credibility, because at this point there isn't anything that gives people a piece of mind when making use of your service.

And what guarantees can I get? How can I be sure that I will be returned to the bitcoins?

As what has richardsNY, it will bring you credibility in the business specially that you are new into the tumbling services. I can't remember but there was one mixing services that went to this route and nothing has happened. In fact, a lot of members started to used to used their services as a result. The business you are in are very tough, although bitmixer.io has gone a lot has been popping up including you. So don't get us wrong here, we are trying to help you establish yourself in the forum.
10840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another wall street idiot, this time, Jordan Belfort calls bitcoin a fraud. on: September 28, 2017, 10:07:46 AM
Hell yeah!, coming from the wolf of wall street that stole a big amount of money to the people of USA then now he called bitcoin as a fraud also, this people obviously want a free publicity for them. Who are him to say that bitcoin is a fraud, trusting a guy that did almost all of the vices in the world is like putting your money on the fire.

How I wish that one of the president of the most powerful countries will once say that bitcoin is a fraud. Most of the losers are the only one that saying bad things about bitcoins because they can't accept the fact that their time is over and a new thing is here. I feel sorry to this kind of people, they think that people nowadays is still gullible to what they say.

How ironic  that the so called wolf of wallstreet talking about stealing money. LOL. He is just full of bullcrap. Maybe a lot of them are really riding the coat tail of bitcoin because its really gaining some reputation now. And the likes of him talking about bitcoin will likely bring attention to himself and becoming relevant once again. People are already wise not to listen to them if they talk negative things about bitcoin because it is proven that is not true. Or quite the contrary, opening their mouths likely put new investors into the crypto sphere. Look at the price right now, suddenly past $4000 once again. I guess its has no effects already. We are already immune from such attacks.
