Wade and LeBron, this two buddies will make the Cavs a lot more flexible and better overall.
But is it final already that D Wade is going to Cleveland?
Yeah that's done deal. He got promoted officially. I predict Golden State Warriors- Cleveland finals once again. Once again, I think that is so boring. I have a feeling the warriors will lose in the west finals, I'm rooting for the Spurs to beat them. Same here, I believe we will see the same finals again, but this time I see the Cavs with a lot of depth in their bench, they didnt had that last year. Everytime Lebron had to come out the Warriors will make a run, and now, The cavs will have a pretty easy way to the finals again, just have to beat Kyrie and the Celtics. In the other side, the Warriors will struggle, the Thunder will give them a run, the Spurs and Rockets will do the same. Not going to be surprised if we dont see the Warrriors not making it to the finals.

It should all be worth it if they acquired those players because both GSW and CAVS have the highest team payroll in the nba respectively. Their is a high chance that both of them could meet again in the finals and GSW stacked there team with underrated players while Cavs acquired many star players in their team.

Kinda rooting too, but since they've got no significant additions, we'll be looking at how their core players improved throughout the off-season. I'd like to see more of Kawhi playing on another level. I really like Kawhi Leonard because he is a very humble yet a monster on court. He keeps improving every season. But he need a good team mates. He cannot carty the team alone. If you see the last conference finals. He was injured and unable to play the rest of the games. Now that some key players just retired and left the team. Spurs will need a good reinforcements to compete with other powerhouse teams like Cavaliers, Warriors and Thunder. Anyway, Kawhi will not able to play for the entire preseason because of his thigh injury http://www.espn.com/nba/team/_/id/24

They are steadily balanced and doesn't need a roster revamp. It's not on the roster problem on why they struggle last playoffs but their momentum got wrecked because of Kawhi's dissappearance. Plus we can't denied the fact that Golden State Warriors is really dominant last playoffs. Not a hardcore fan of GSW but I see that if even Kawhi doesn't experienced that injury, they will still be contained by the Warriors.

Unfortunately, Leonard suffered an injury. And with Tony Parker already out, there's no way they can defeat Golden State in that series. Its a good series between Leonard and Durant up to the unfaithful event. I consider the team all good and set to go for this season. And I hope he has already recovered and fully healthy. This season will be huge for NBA as more and more super teams have already put up and ready to match with Golden State.

Don't know if Cleveland can make it to Finals this year, but no doubt GSW will. I don't think so, the cavaliers are always dominating the East which gives them an easy way to the finals. On the other hand, the warriors has a strong competition in the west the last season was easy for them because Kawhi was injured but a year back they have a hard time beating the Thunder and they lucky to get back from a 3-1 deficit if I still remember it right.

These two teams are in the same momentum so I guess that they are the ones that will face against each other in the finals. Dominating in the Eastern conference and with the western conference. This is a good addition to the Cavaliers but we don't know if there will be injuries, issues and dramas that are about to happen for each team. And who knows maybe an underrated team will be leading its way to the finals.

As an Atlanta Hawks fan, good thing they traded Dwight Howard.
He is not the Howard during his Magic days. This is one of the player who's talent gone to waste.

Cavaliers doesn't have an easy way to the finals. It's just that teams on the East can't beat Lebron James hardly. Blame the other East teams that can't stopped the dominance of Lebron James and the Cavaliers. I remember that GSW vs Thunder where Durant realized he needs to transfer to that team after they are being pinned down even with the big advantage. lol. As an Atlanta Hawks fan, good thing they traded Dwight Howard.

If it's good to you then how much more Howard's former teammate. Report says that they are all happy that this player is traded. Can't believe his own teammates wants to disposed him. Currently Howard is now on Charlotte Hornets.

Agree. The Superman seemed to have changed from a main-man to a sidekick. Can't remember the last dunk, block he made if he's made any.

Pre season matches began couple days ago and we already had some action. Today Charlotte will meet Boston and I believe Charlotte can stand the handicap of (+8).

Better days has passed and now he looks like the old players that wasn't flexible anymore. I'm seeing his figure a real sportsman base on how he stand and built of his body. He's not even making some noise in the last season but maybe there is something that he's going through and maybe on this season we'll able to see him play well with Charlotte.

Can someone share their thoughts on the recent revamp with NBA. I read somewhere that there's no more East vs West thing but instead there will be captains will draw from a pool on which player will be the starter and which player will be the reserve. This is a good idea I think since there are teams that are really ramping up their line up creating a super team.

He should have stayed in Lakers when he was traded their because at that time, the Lakers will building around a team with him and Kobe. And I read that once Kobe has retired he will take as the main man for the Lakers. Imagine his name with the likes Shaq, Kareem and other all time Center greats of Lakers. However, it seems that he and Kobe has a beef or something and he choose to move out. Now he is like a journey man, and putting himself to a position not to win a ring in his career. And for me, once he decided to moved out of Lakers, his career is gone. Evident as what we are seeing in him today.

Pre season is only familiarization of each player in every team since this season lots of trading happens i think this season is very intersting. I just keep my eyes in the boston how irving carry it until the playoffs.

And yes, this one's the hardest one to fix. @ontopic, looks like the new HOU is much more oiled and smooth this season.

No it's not a good idea if you will bring that to the whole. East vs West is the foundation why NBA finals is exciting. Also you can't avoid super teams since there is a thing called salary cut. The only way to avoid a superstar to signed into his favorite team is under table transaction with the NBA commissioner if you know what I mean. Looks like you missed the information on what you saw. What you read is only applied for All-Star Game and that is a good idea if applied. We can see that officially this coming All-Star game next year.

I read just now that there will be a revamp on All Star game, not on the whole system of NBA. It will take time to discussed if that will happened. I think in choosing the captain, it must be the leading player who will get the most votes. My guesses are: Lebron James for the East and Dirk Nowitzki for the West. Why Dirk? It has some speculation that retiring is just minutes away to him.
