1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: November 04, 2017, 05:13:56 PM
There are no serious reasons for claiming that the etherium has a future in the crypto currency, and Bitcoin is not, I do not see. And in general it is very foolish to say this about the current and unconditional leader of the Crypto-currency.
Bitcoin is as strong as it is has been for a very long time and no coin is even close to surpassing it, so I think people need to stop focusing in what it is going to be the next bitcoin, there is only one bitcoin and it is never going to replaced by any other coin.
1102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin rise to $500k in three years? on: November 04, 2017, 05:02:58 PM
Imo this was just a media stunt to gain attention. You can't seriously expect Bitcoin to reach 500k in three years Roll Eyes
I think this is the right answer if a person gave a prediction like bitcoin is going to reach 15k in 2020 then no one is going to freak out since that seems like a very possible scenario but if you want to generate clicks and discussion you need to give ridiculous high or low numbers.
1103  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: November 04, 2017, 04:59:07 PM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
Bitcoins is for everyone  however were are part of the early generation of people using bitcoin and it is obvious that we have a tendency to be interested in technology if we were not then we will not be here in the first place, but as bitcoin becomes more common everyone is going to use it.
1104  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 04, 2017, 04:56:02 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?
When that happens then it means that bitcoin has become accepted worldwide and by that time we will already rich and bitcoin will be popular anyway, the reason the price of bitcoin changes so much is because it is still relatively small compared to the size of the world economy so the volatility is not going to disappear.
1105  Economy / Economics / Re: Appreciation of bitcoin on: November 04, 2017, 04:56:18 AM
The much talked about ride is on, to bullish. Who is riding with it ......
Shocked

I didn't support bitcoin when I learned about it 4 years ago. I admit that it was a bad decision, if I could've supported it, I would've been a millionaire today. So, now that I'm back. I'm going to support and trust bitcoin with all I can, and keep investing and holding bitcoin.

Its a big regrett for me also to did not support the bitcoin during the years that was introduced to me. But then again im always trying my best to earn a lot of bitcoin to be hold and invest. I think bitcoin will be more popular and the price will increased higher than its price right now.
That was not my case but I understand your point if I was introduced to bitcoin sooner right now I will be a rich man, but instead I’m trying to do my best to get any bitcoin, however it is better to start getting bitcoin now that way in a decade I could be able to get the results of trusting in bitcoin and improve my life as a result.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small investors now is your time! on: November 04, 2017, 04:47:18 AM
Сoming soon correction to 4000$
It seems you got your prediction wrong like any other person that thought that the rally was over, the rally is not going to be over until the end of the year, bitcoin is now trading at more than 7k and it is likely that is going to trade above 8k before the end of the year, so buy bitcoin and do your best to enjoy your profits.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL? on: November 02, 2017, 07:46:51 PM
I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL?

How do you think about the price of ETH end of this year.

I lost just small amount (5 ETH) because i bought the highest price.

I don`t know I hold or SELL.

Give me your opinion.

Hold the price of ETH has been crashing for some time now, and it does not seem like a good idea to sell for a bad price, if you hold for a several years I have no doubt that ETH could reach a price of 1000 per coin, I do not know where you live but that is a lot of money in my country.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: November 02, 2017, 07:43:54 PM
I was reading an article this morning, about how much profit are people making by participating in pre-ICO campaigns. I guess thats a big thing, as the discounts are significant!

Pre-ICO seems to be the rage right now, it is not enough any longer to invest in the ico to make money now you need to invest in the pre-ico if you want to have any chance of making money quickly when you invest, in my opinion this is becoming ridiculous since most of the time the devs have nothing to show for even during the ICO.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: November 02, 2017, 07:41:12 PM
many altcoins are created making it less likely for them to compete with old coins but do not rule out also for them to be more than their predecessors because the newly marketed coins are favored by investors. so they become potential in the future but one of them may not survive in competition and lose its value.
New coins have a chance as long as they bring something new to the table or are more efficient than a project that already exists, besides bitcoin there is not a coin that has gained acceptance from the public so as long as the project is good then we can see a new project overtake an old one.
1110  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: November 02, 2017, 07:37:02 PM
yes if for me bitcoin is the world strongest currency at the present crypto currencies and most of the banks countries are accepting this as the legal currency the demand for this currency is very high that's why it has a high market value and doing best businesses for businessman. there are so many coins in the crypto world but bitcoin is the strongest and reliable currency in the world.

Hell no, lets not get delusional about bitcoin because we all love it dearly, Don't get carried away folks...it's great that bitcoin is doing a lot for us but it is not even as popular as the USD and people all over the world feel easier to accept USD than any other currency. I travel and i know how people appreciate it when you give them a 10$ bill. Bitcoin isn't the strongest but if you push me i would say the USD.
True what it happens is that we love bitcoin and some people may get too excited about it and may think that bitcoin is going to replace the dollar soon but we know that is not going to happen in a long amount of time if it happens at all, however there is no doubt that bitcoin is a great currency to have.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what price will litecoin hit in the future? on: November 02, 2017, 07:34:40 PM
what do you guys think? what will happen in 2019,2020,... just curious to hear.

If bitcoin continues to grow steadily, it can last up to 2020, but recently, bitcoin has become too unstable, with dramatic changes in value, which can have a big impact. to its existence. I really feel anxious about what might happen.
Lol how it is possible that  a price that is constantly going up almost every day a risk to bitcoin and to its holders? I’m sure that every single person in the forum holding bitcoin is jumping up and down out of joy with a price of bitcoin of 6950 and I will not be surprised if we hit 8000 after the next hard fork.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: October 31, 2017, 09:01:54 PM
there is nothing i am afraid.
only thing that you can trust for long term investment is bitcoin. all the other altcoins will go down in the long term and only it is in short term that they get pump and dumped and can give you any profit.
and always try to do your own analysis instead of asking others to tell you what to invest in.

there was one altcoin called DMD (Diamond) that i think had a pretty good stable price and if i am not mistaken it was a POS system. you might want to check that out because i don't have many details on it.
This is correct the only coin that is worth your time is bitcoin everything else is just a waste of time if you are trying to hold long term, now that does not mean there are not good coins out there but you need to always be ready to get rid of them because if you do not then you could lose a lot of money very fast.
1113  Economy / Marketplace / Re: enough bitcoins to start small project ? on: October 31, 2017, 08:58:28 PM
It depends on the complexity of your project.I have seen many users spending thousands on gambling projects,ICOs etcitra.
You may even start a project if you have $100  but if you are going to hire someone to design your website in accordance with law complying project, whether it is a shopping project initial coin offering or gambling, it will cost you $2000-5000 .

I didnt know setting up a BTC gambling site would be that cheap. Can you give us examples of what BTC gambling sites started with an initial budget of $5000? I could start one right now if I could figure out where to start.
yeah thats right.any example or link in which we can configure how to start with just $5000,not just gambling but sites that can with that amount

In my opinion 5000$ is little bit small for making a gambling site and how could the owner market and make his interface looks more beautiful and safety for exploits and other more attacks if he only bought 5000$ as capital? 5000$ is not enough since running and maintaining it on first quarter is so expensive.

But if the owner of 5000$ will build an ICO introduction site, advertisement or other more related on altcoins maybe he can get more revenue for keeping his business run smoothly and be more appealing on altcoin scene.
And this is even more true when a business is starting, it is rare that a business is a success from day one, most of the time you are going to have losses in the first months and you need to have the money to survive those first months until you are able to get enough clients to turn a profit.
1114  Economy / Economics / Re: Generating Passive Income on: October 31, 2017, 08:55:50 PM
I know two 'methods' for passive income in crypto world:

1. Investing in casino bankrolls

2. Buying and holding POS currencies. There are few good around but the real deal will become in few month when ETH switch to POS.
Proof of stake is one of the easiest ways to make some passive income but you need to have a lot of money already invested in the coin and finally investing in casino bankrolls are a great idea but at the same time more and more casinos are choosing to create their own coins.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "Onion" - THE BABY GIANT! 10000%+ coin for 2018 on: October 31, 2017, 08:51:39 PM
hard to join this signature bounty. they say need user active on the forum. but Sad I have my work so I can't online everyday like other member. so sad

You just need to have 10 post every week , follow the rules, have an account on the official forum and be helpful to the community. DeepOnion's community has a lot of helpful member and support.

Keep in mind that DeepOnion's future is in our hands it will not grow if the community is not supporting it.
That is true for any project no only deeponion, a coin may be one of the best projects out there but if there is not a community supporting and promoting the project the coins is going to die very rapidly, this is why it is important to always remember that despite the high technology business we are in the people are still the ones that are the most important factor for the success of a coin.
1116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Interesting day... Telling on: October 30, 2017, 10:44:04 PM
Maybe you should track every price fluctuations by the cents and not dollars mate, no one is interested in any price change less than $500 anymore.

As the community grows people will expect more from Bitcoin, it was less than a year ago when I was checking on my wallet and seeing instead of

$2000 I had $2007 I was happy and I knew other people are too, now my $12000 is $30000.

I would argue that a lot of people who don't have as much as you do are very interested in the micro fluctuations in Bitcoin as well. People who are also looking to buy huge volumes want to use every dip to their advantage in order to get the most out of price rises.
That is a possibility but for the people doing that they are going to be in a better shape if instead of looking for every minor movement in the price they simply work harder and get a job and then they invest at bitcoin at any time, the money they are saving by watching the market in that way does not seem to be worth their time.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: October 30, 2017, 10:39:50 PM
Cryptocurrency is the best way to pay in online billing fast and accurate no hastle to pay bills, mostly in our country have an internet connection it is easy us to access in any online payments. While our local currency need to fall in line just to pay our bills.
I don’t think Bitcoin is the fastest way to pay online, Bitcoin is even the slowest as of recently, cause it will have to go through long processes like confirmation before it arrives. But with regular currencies mobile banking/online banking/credit card/debit card you can make transactions in a twinkle of an eye. So Bitcoin needs to improve.
Bitcoin needs to improve when compared to services like Paypal where you can send payments very fast, but bitcoin is going to get there what it happens is that during the last years there has been a big debate about solutions to scale bitcoin and there was no an agreement about the best way to do that.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 30, 2017, 10:36:13 PM
First reason why people scam is they want easy and quick money. We will not be able to figure out who is which we will just be able to know that they are scammer when they already scammed someone or someone reported them as a scammer with a proof. We cannot do anything about the behavior of individual lets just pray for their soul and just be careful on every trades you do to avoid getting scammed.
I agree to you , I've encountered ones a scammer, ive told him to stop what his doing but he told me back if I'll stop scammed people can you give money for my daily expenses.
That is not even an excuse, what it is right is right and what it is wrong is wrong, there is not a middle ground here, deceiving people out of their money without any intention to ever pay back is wrong no matter the reasons you have to do those despicable actions.
1119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin rise to $500k in three years? on: October 30, 2017, 10:34:01 PM
So guys, what do you think about McAfee prediction - will Bitcoin jump to $500 000 till August 2020?
That is not a prediction that is just a wild dream, there is no way for bitcoin to reach that amount even if the world economy crashed overnight I doubt we could get a number like that since depression will set in and the price of everything is going to go down, but that is not a good thing because no one will have any money to pay for anything, so even if bitcoin was valued at 1000 but you could buy a building with that then that will mean that bitcoin is extremely valuable.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funny: Nigerian Scams Shifting To Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 10:31:00 PM
Please do not be racist, there is no where in that message that confirms the location of the sender.

It is well known that these scams emanate from countries all over the world like; Russia, Greece, Indonesia to name a few.

Calling this a Nigerian scam is quite pathetic and racist so I have reported your post
You need to chill out and read the whole post before commenting, that is the name of this kind of scam, it is as simple as that, the OP never intended to be racist in his comment but if that is the name of the scam what he can do? Nothing, it is like being mad that the Ponzi scams are called Ponzi, well those scams are called like that because a guy named Ponzi was the first one to create a scam like that.
