11122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Police officer fired for killing dog in front of 6-year-old owner on: August 04, 2014, 05:02:00 PM
Sometimes I feel that police officers are using guns to often.
They should change their approach and try to fo their job in different way, more through talking and serving people in their community, not through brutal force.

11124  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the best gift you have ever received? on: August 04, 2014, 03:34:03 PM
I think love from my wife, the best free gift I ever received Smiley
Material things pass by the time but other, invisible things and present, never pass.
11125  Other / Politics & Society / Re: is killing innocent people necesary just for the sake of thier belief? on: August 04, 2014, 03:31:46 PM
Beliefs, religions should never lead their followers to do such things, killing innocent people makes you just a scum of human race and it doesnt make you a hero of your belief.

I agree with this.
Nobody should use religion as reason to harm others.
Religion talks about peace and love, not killing or harming others.
Israel have political motivation in this conflict, not religious one.
11126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does Kurd deserve their own country ? on: August 04, 2014, 02:04:52 PM
Now is the perfect time for Kurds to create their own country while shite and sunni are fighting each other. They deserve to own their own country, they have right to decide their own future. I think Oboma should send that funding to the Kurds instead of the ISIS terrorist.

Yes, in idealistic world you will be perfectly right.
In fact, Kurds was cheated in 1920 by France and England at peace conference and didn't get their freedom and free nation.
But, in today's world, everything is decided by the political interest, not right of justice.
So, whatever Kurds will get independence or not will be decided by the world powers, according to their current political interest in this conflict area, if they want united Iraq or 3 different states.

11127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Cold War has begun on: August 04, 2014, 01:54:41 PM
I don't really see how this countries can stop Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is virtual currency, not paper, so they can't control it directly.
They can try to control Internet but this is very different story.
I think they don't like Bitcoin because they can't control it, can't collect taxes, check how much their citizens earned from it etc.
So, in this war they can't win, for sure Smiley

11128  Other / Off-topic / Re: What exactly is the most important thing in our life? on: August 04, 2014, 01:47:12 PM
1. Family
2. God, spirituality.
3. Health
4. To find every day reason to be happy&joyful Smiley
11129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS brainwashing child soldiers for Jihad on: August 04, 2014, 01:39:42 PM
It seems that they are following the same path established earlier by other terrorist groups in Muslim world.
This people live in poverty, insecurity and without hope for a very long period of time.
Western world should help and support this people, not just Israel, improve their life and give them real hope for peace and when this happen this people will loose interest for jihad or fighting.
Because this didn't happen until now it's very easy, unfortunately for western world, that such extremist groups find enough desperate candidates fore their criminal agenda.
11130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Should Bitcoin Be Regulated? on: August 04, 2014, 01:13:41 PM
I don't think that Bitcoin should be regulated by any authority, financial institution, government etc.
Bitcoin should stay free from any official control and develop according to the free market rules.
11131  Other / Off-topic / Re: karma on: August 04, 2014, 12:46:48 PM
my neighbor was just talking to me about paying it forward. he believes if you help others good things happen for you and if you do bad it comes back to you.

what do you guys think?

I don't think that you are talking about karma here.
This is basic christian teaching, and also teaching in many other religions, that we should love and help others and for our good deeds we will receive reward in other world but also we will be blessed in this world.
Karma, as I understand, means that we are passing through different lives and our ultimate goal is to achieve special spiritual ''awareness- Nirvana'' and unite with ultimate reality by living according to certain rules.
11132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Strong democracy or strong constitution ? on: August 04, 2014, 12:40:15 PM
Why do you think that this 2 terms are separated and that we have to choose between them?
Demos in Greek language is people, so democracy means that people rule the country through elected political representatives.
This representatives, in the name of the people, create constitution and lead the nation.
I don't think that is today's modern and complex society is possible something like ''direct democracy'' where people directly rule, without representatives.
This is to idealistic view but will never happen.
So, we will always choose representatives who will lead the country and people, and based on their political agenda, they will create constitution but for average people other lows like labor low, financial regulations, economy are more important in everyday life than constitution.

11133  Economy / Economics / Re: 11 countries close to bankruptcy....... on: August 04, 2014, 12:18:32 PM
I disagree.  The Government isn't the Borg Queen, it's a collection of individuals & agencies who are motivated by their individual goals and wishes.  The Federal Reserve for instance is distinct from the other arms of the government.

Bitcoin can be used as a national currency, no reason why it couldn't.  Governments can collect their revenue from taxation and then spend the funds accordingly.

Bitcoin will never be used as the USA National currency  as someone will want/need to control ...either Banks or Govt. but would probably co exist with a new National crypto currency.

The USA ( and a few others) Govt did not used to be the Borg Queen  a long time ago..but now it is. Govt is motivated by individual ( personal ..get rich or re-elected) goals in the 1st instance and good work in the second intance ( based on the   If I'm not elected ( which needs financing and money in MY bank) I cant do any good..doctrine)

While the Fed is outwardly private owned..the influence Govt has is in fact strong, if not effectively absolute..they will threaten to change the system and kick the bankers out if ever a major request to them is denied...Congress actually has power to do that if ever they want to...It is just convenient for Govt. to have a scape goat to blame if things go seriously wrong

a balanced view is here ( without the stated recognition that Govt has them over a barrel IF ever they want to remove their power)

http://www.monetary.org/is-the-federal-reserve-system-a-governmental-or-a-privately-controlled-organization/2008/02

Another disturbing thing about the British news report is its reflection of the naive belief that more regulation means a safer, less risky financial system and economy. Big Government here and in Europe has perpetrated the astonishing myth that the recent financial crisis was caused by reckless and greedy private-sector bankers. No wonder the public howls for bankers’ heads. The real villains here were governments, particularly central banks.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveforbes/2013/07/24/big-government-and-central-banks-the-real-criminals/

I agree with this viewpoint.
Also, Bitcoin itself can't help any national economy to get rid of debts.
Economy (and specially World finance industry) is still based on USD, and most countries asking for loan in USA, and this will not change soon.
If bitcoin will be regulated and have its own bank this story may be different but because this will never happen we can't think that Bitcoin can directly help any of this 11 countries close to  bankruptcy...
11134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is slowly changing my ideology from socialism to libertarianism! on: August 04, 2014, 12:07:53 PM
I think that definition of socialism and libertarianism vary between different parts of the world.
In USA socialism is very bade word but in Europe is somehow positive because it means social care by the government for the people.
So, when someone use such strong words like socialism and libertarianism we should first check from where this person coming in order to understand what socialism and libertarianism mean for him/her.
11135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The first thing to know on: August 03, 2014, 03:29:24 PM
It's true statement.
In some other post someone asked which country we hate the most.
There is no such things like evil countries or people, just bad governments which can be replaced with the people either in free elections or revolution (if they become to much corrupted over time).
11136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are girls using Bitcoins? on: August 03, 2014, 03:26:00 PM
Very few I guess. I've seen only one.

maybe girls don't post much as boys here but this doesn't mean that they are not on this forum or don't know about Bitcoin Smiley
Regarding money, i think girls are more clever than boys!

I do not agree that all women smarter than men, though the majority of the world's inventions were made by men

I didn't say that women is smarter than man.
I said that women is smarter with money than man, and this is huge difference.
Of course, man is the one who is making money the most Smiley
11137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hack generator dude must be a kid on: August 03, 2014, 02:15:24 PM
There's always greedy fools who just want to get rich quick. They're always blinded by their own greed and unfortunately fall victim to it, but this is usually the only way they'll learn. Smart people rarely get scammed to be honest.
What a terrible and potentially insulting post.  Just because you think you're "smart" and haven't fallen victim to a scam doesn't mean "smart" people rarely get scammed.  You have no way to know how many people have been scammed, and you have no way to know whether or not they are "smart".  There are plenty of scams that have a lot more to do with desperation and other emotions rather than greed, and even the smartest person can be so exhausted their judgment becomes so lax that they can screw up without even giving a second thought.

Yes, agree with this from my own experience.
specially this is true when money comes to the story Smiley like internet earning opportunities, different ways to earn Bitcoin...
Every day hackers and cheaters invent  new ways to SCAM people and got their money so doesn't matter how much you are smart, they can catch you Smiley
11138  Other / Off-topic / Re: If a man lays with another man he should be stoned on: August 03, 2014, 02:06:47 PM
I don't think that this bible verses you can interpret literally in today's modern society.
If you don't like some lows only way to change this is through political institutions, not by stoning other fellow man.
Yes, it's interesting that this happen on the same day but, in my opinion, this is just coincidence.

11139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is More Evil? on: August 03, 2014, 02:00:22 PM
Countries can't be evil, or its people.
Politic leaders can use power of their country, political, economic or military, for evil purpose.
The best example for this, in my opinion, is North Korea where one family since 1045 (3 generations already) using resources of their country (specially military power) to destabilize Korean peninsula, unify Korea by force and through constant tension mobilize their own people and stay in power.
