11141  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Full member account (2011) on: April 17, 2015, 01:46:25 AM
Signed message available (address posted here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0 )

Do you have any older address posted except that from stake btc address thread?

No, because I have bought it from the original owner outside of this forum and he has not never posted any his bitcoin address in this forum.
That thread is very new. I don't think receiving a signed message from an address posted in that thread would do very much to prove ownership.

How did you know the previous owner actually owned the account when you purchased it from him?
11142  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC LOAN NEEDED, 0.0066BTC on: April 16, 2015, 08:57:01 PM
Has it actually posted that address in the past? If you are getting the loan to your deposit address then you most likely will not be able to sign a message from that address.
11143  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC LOAN NEEDED, 0.0066BTC on: April 16, 2015, 08:43:38 PM
How much can you repay? Can you provide a signed message confirming ownership of the member account? I assume the member account has neutral trust, correct?
11144  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC LOAN NEEDED, 0.0066BTC on: April 16, 2015, 08:35:58 PM
Why did you create a brand new account to ask for a loan if you are putting a member account up for collateral?
11145  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [Cheap] HIgh Level DaDice Account for sale on: April 16, 2015, 08:34:46 PM
I still cant get the reason for buying this account. So basically you get a dice account which just gives you higher faucet payouts for 0.1 btc? Is it even worth it? You coulf buy a Full member account here and get about 0.001 per post you make here.

I believe they allow for tipping so you could claim the faucet and then tip an alt account then claim the faucet again once the waiting time is up. In theory it is even possible to automate this process.
11146  Economy / Auctions / Re: 1 s3+ auction Will end within 24hrs. on: April 16, 2015, 08:21:36 PM
This is somewhat true, but all you need is 2 pci connectors into the s3 for 450+ ghs on stock. I have 4 s3s on one 1300 evga that's pulling between 1800 and 1900 ghs. But please remember also in just auctioning this so no matter the price there will be a winner if you even get an s3 for 100$ your roi for just the machine is about 3 months.
if you have 4 S3's connected to one 1300 watt PSU then you are really pushing the limits of the PSU. I don't know exactly what happens when you push the capacity of a PSU but that's not something that I would do. I was under the impression that three would be a better limit of number of miners to run on a (gold) 1300 w PSU (assuming the miners are S3's and not something that uses more electricity then an S3).

I would also point out that your ROI figure assumes free electricity which will most likely not be the case for most people.
11147  Economy / Auctions / Re: 1 s3+ auction Will end within 24hrs. on: April 16, 2015, 08:01:44 PM
How much do these retail for nowadays?

0.03BTC
bitmain stopped selling them a few months ago. I sold one around a month ago for ~$120 shipped within the U.S.  It's value has declined somewhat due to the increased difficulty that we saw last time around.

If you do win the auction then you will need a PSU to power the machine which tend to last a long time and can most likely be used long after it is no longer financially viable to continue mining. There are no details in the OP but a S3+ should hash at between 450 and 480 GHs at stock speeds and consume ~350ish watts at stock (I think this is right).

Unless you have very cheap or free electricity then it will probably not make sense to continue to run a S3+ for very much longer (probably not more then a few months depending on a number of factors).
11148  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell my acc Member acc! on: April 16, 2015, 07:02:13 PM
There is no rule that says any disputes that involve negative trust need to be removed prior to selling an account although if the account does have negative trust then it's price will be negatively affected. (Btw it doesn't actually appear this account is involved in any disputes, just scammy behavior)

Also it will be more effective to report the post instead of writing that the thread is in the wrong section. You are really just making your post appear longer then it really is and are not adding anything to the conversation.
11149  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Wtb 1 x btc bank transfer or paypal on: April 16, 2015, 06:34:35 PM
I would remove PayPal if I were you. If you really want to buy Bitcoin then you should only offer payment methods that cannot, or are very difficult to reverse.

As TC said above escrow is going to be your friend. Even if someone sounds like they are not going to scam you, it won't hurt anything to have a neutral third party help with the transaction and will tell you if there is little way to properly document your trade. Escrow will cost a small percentage of the transaction amount (although LBC does as well) but you will generally be much safer then dealing directly with someone.
11150  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Wtb 1 x btc bank transfer or paypal on: April 16, 2015, 06:09:10 PM

If im going about this wrong please let me know. Buying btc seems to be a tricky business.
you are trying to buy Bitcoin with PayPal. Bitcoin for all intensive purposes cannot be reversed, while PayPal can be reversed up to 180+ days after a transaction. This makes it very risky for anyone considering to sell Bitcoin for PayPal, especially when the person who is buying the Bitcoin has zero reputation.
11151  Other / Meta / Re: Someone hacked my account on: April 16, 2015, 05:26:41 PM
1 month and 8 days! No Reply From Theymos, What Should I do, It takes like 5 minutes to verify that the account is hacked! I have given all the proofs what else should i do! The Support is Shit here for account restoring thats what i can say now!
it takes a lot longer then that. He needs to look for evidence if the account was sold verses hacked. The same goes for evidence that you volunteerly gave your password to someone. This would including looking at backups for potentially deleted PMs and at potentially edited/deleted posts.

All an IP log is going to show is that different people are using the account.

Edit
I am sorry to tell but sometimes, this is how it ends. You should continue posting in your current account or with new one. It maybe recovered later. An account LOBSTER was recovered when his/her new account was Sr. Member. So be patient and don't loose hope.
i believe that lobster then proceeded to spam several hundred posts in only a weekend and ended up getting banned.
11152  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [Cheap] HIgh Level DaDice Account for sale on: April 16, 2015, 05:19:49 PM
Im selling a DaDice account, level 40, BTC 0.0001 ono, faucet per every 5 minutes, Withdrawn over 0.02 BTC... price 0.1 BTC. Working on more accounts.

Escrow possible.

PM me for details

what is special benefit to buy that account for 0.1BTC it seems funny to buy dice account just for high faucet. with 0.1BTC mebers can make more rolling dice there.

Well mate, there is indeed a benefit. Wait until our stats page is up to see what magic some members make out of a high level faucet. Needless to say, we do not encourage members to trade dadice accounts Sad Keep them - enjoy them!
It would probably be a good idea to ban people who try to farm gambling accounts on your site because the value behind them is that they can milk you for a lot of faucet funds which hurts your profits.

I have seen stunna say that he bans people that farm and even trade primedice accounts so there is precedent for this.
11153  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I was scammed by kashish948 on: April 16, 2015, 04:34:49 PM
@Quickseller, are you related to OP in some way? You seem to be bias here. Also, looks like you are giving arguments on his behalf, why?

Also, the terms of the thread will be the only way how we can know if it was CAD or USD since none was mentioned anywhere else. Hence obviously it will be the terms on my thread where even OP posted proving that he contacted me after seeing my post there.

And sorry I'm not giving any difference as refund because:

1) I'm clearly not scamming here. Lol I would do it for the entire amount if I wanted to.

2) OP did try to cheat me by offering low BTC for more Paypal hoping I send it by mistake. I don't think he deserves to get any refund after this cheat attempt.

3) Let him get a taste of his own medicine.

So no, I'm not sending any refund.
No I am not related to the OP in any way, although he did ask for my advice and I told him that he should open a scam accusation based on your refusal to give him a refund.

I don't see any other offer other then the 3.85 BTC amount that was sent to 1NBFMLaUanXmT8a3bUnVvTLh1E5TDEGFAb in one transaction.
11154  Other / Meta / Re: Changing inaccurate factoids on: April 16, 2015, 04:29:02 PM
The factoids were written by the donators. Each donator got to have one factoid to submit/publish as part of their reward for donating.

There are a good number of factoids that advertise sites that have been defunct for years

How was I helping them? Their signatures were up a total of ~24 hours. I have over 1 btc of their money. I prevented their advertisers from getting scammed as they were obviously not going to receive payment if I had not escrowed. They were already tagged as badbear as being an alt of moreia so anyone considering "investing" is just an idiot.

Not going to argue man but look at your trust its green right?

well you presenting yourself as an escrow gave a little trust to alot of people who put their bitcoin in the site.
can you agree?

I am not per say saying you helped out the campaign for scamming, more so the site itself you acting as escrow with your green trust might of gave more trust to the site for people to invest.

That is all.

Funny how I am trying to help you and actually gaining some respect for you but when I saw this it made me confused.

so take it as you will but if I was a newbie and saw you acting as escrow it would look legit even though the site looked like cryptodouble.com
There are three paragraphs in the escrow agreement saying that I do not endorse the site and specifically saying that I believe them to be a scam.

Quote
It should be noted that there are allegations that this site is a ponzi/hyip/scam and as a result anyone participating in this campaign may be promoting a scam. Any consequences of the above are the sole responsibility of participants.

While there are allegations that CryptoSplit is a ponzi/hyip/scam, the purpose of offering escrow services is intended to prevent signature campaign participants from getting scammed and should in no way be construed as an endorsement of the site.

In the event that the site scams in the middle of a payment period then participants will have the option to remove their signature for a prorated payment

11158  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a bit long term loan for Shadow Runner :) on: April 16, 2015, 03:20:33 PM
You are kidding right? Your reputation page has mentions of trades totaling less then .5 btc. I'm sorry but your reputation is not worth 4+ btc. And no using your account as collateral would not protect a lender from you defaulting.

Sorry I'm here for first time, never took a loans from this forum section before. I don't understand how to use my acc as collateral.
I had much more deals via PM, but users leaves comments by their wishes. I didn't push them to leave feedback.
Using your account as collateral means that the lender holds your account until you repay the loan and when you default they can either sell it or otherwise use it how they wish. Considering that your account is no where near worth 5 btc, doing so would not help you get the loan.

As stated above, without any collateral (preferably altcoin) then you are not going to be able to get a loan. At least not from someone who knows how to protect themselves
11159  Economy / Lending / Re: Do you need Loan➬➬Offering Micro- loan➬➬0% interest➬➬Collateral Required on: April 16, 2015, 02:30:24 PM
.007 sized loans will most likely only be gambling loans.

All collatetal should be held by a trusted third party though.
11160  Other / Meta / Re: TradeFortress(aka $username): Trust Abuse on: April 16, 2015, 02:21:17 PM
it is possible it was someone who knew TF in RL and knew that he was involved in those projects and was able to use social engineering to get the personal information that he had used on the accounts. Fake personal information is often not the actual identity of the person but the name/details often have some connection to the person.

That... or he's just lying. To make things worse inputs.io was not the last website TF launched that lost all it's users funds, there was also hashie.co which was also hacked just a few months ago, though I suspect that hack was real but TF admits himself the hacker didn't take all of the BTC but claims he's entitled to the rest of the funds because he invested so much time into building the website.
I am personally leaning towards him lying about the sites being hacked.

If you ignore all the issues about his story how he got hacked there is still the issue that he had way too much money stored in the hot wallet and IIRC he was hacked right around the time that TF had increased the size of the hot wallet in order to prevent people from having to wait for withdrawing
