I care about that because it should be really important difference, otherwise why are they getting paid that much money if they are not going to make a difference in the end? USA is not some nation that is trying some one race thing, they are filled with a million different races, people from all over the world go there. The logical differences is that USA is a place that accepts immigrants, in fact, every single year there are green card drawings that end up taking a certain amount of people (in thousands) to go live there if they want to, and that is the difference in the south of the wall understanding.

I honestly do not think keeping Salah was a smart decision. He is 30+ years old, getting 100+ million for him would have been an amazing deal for them. So all in all, between their UCL group being a little bit easy, and the league seems like they could do fine, I am sensing that they could actually do great this season. I am expecting at least a quarter finals, possibly a semi finals at the UCL level, a league title, and maybe even the cup if they are lucky. That should bring in back all that financial loss and they could do quite well for the few next seasons and not really worry about the money anymore.

Obviously the top teams are getting better without a doubt. However, to be fair to them the level they reached is not the part that should be considered good, it's the growth that they had which is the success. Right now they are not even a top 10 league in my book, and yet they are acted as if top 5-6 right now with all the media attention they are getting.

For example, I would prefer Belgium league more than this, I bet they are better but for some reason they are not considered as good as Saudi league by the fans, all because of the names. Just names do not get you wins, you need those names to play well too, we will see if they will actually do fine. I think it is to start thinking about a serious club world cup type of thing by Uefa, UCL is great but we need a global one.
