1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 08, 2023, 06:21:42 PM
Usually Sevilla will only be able to finish in third place in the group stage in the Champions League and thus, Sevilla will return to play in the Europa League. But yes, if in the Champions League next season Sevilla are able to finish in first or second position, then of course Sevilla will continue to the last 16 in the Champions League. But, because so far even though Sevilla has managed to get a ticket to play in the Champions League, the reality is that Sevilla ends it more often in the Europa League and this happens very often or is experienced by Sevilla very often.
Sevilla's success in securing a Champions League ticket for next season clearly received high appreciation regardless of the drama of the referee who presided over the match. Sevilla holds an unbeaten record in every Europa League final in 7 finals, that's something really incredible about them so far.

I know Sevilla won't be favorites for the Champions League let alone reaching the quarter-finals, but they can make the most of their best chance of winning the Europa League despite only playing in the Champions League group stages. But habits like this must be changed because Sevilla can also give their best in the title race.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 08, 2023, 05:38:22 PM
Actually, Serie A teams has chance for playing one more slot to Champion League and Europe League, but failure from AS Roma and Fiorentina made both teams failed to play in Champion League and Europe League next season, actually for Fiorentina after losing over West Ham last night made their opportunity close for paying in Europe League.
This shows that this season's Serie A team is not quite ready to win the European title. Roma and Fiorentina have failed but Inter are the last team likely to fail as Manchester City are the toughest opponents in the Champions League.

I didn't expect too much from Inter in the Champions League final. They are not the favorites to win it and of course expecting Inter to win the title would only be very disappointing. But we can't say for sure if Manchester City will actually do it, it's sure to be an interesting wait for them. Low probability is one of the reasons why I favor Manchester City, so that's not going to change.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if they tried it on: June 07, 2023, 07:54:46 PM
Bitcoin differs from gold in that it cannot be easily seized by the government. Seizure by the government is only possible if you are utilizing a custodial wallet through a wallet authority. However, if you have been using a non-custodial wallet, your cryptocurrency cannot be seized. This is because cryptocurrencies are decentralized, and the government lacks control over them.
And seized  is also possible when users store their assets on a centralized exchange, such as BinanceUS.
Of course it is a risk that must be avoided by all crypto asset owners who have long term investment plans. I think traders are still safe temporarily keeping their assets on the exchange while they trade, but when they are done withdrawing to a non-custodial wallet is best.

A limited number of reputable and centralized exchanges are still safe to use as temporary storage, but if they wish to hold on for a longer period of time then a non-custodial wallet is much more advisable.

The SEC is constantly moving to proceed with its plan as tweeted by BinanceUS: https://twitter.com/BinanceUS/status/1666203325543374856?s=20
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 07, 2023, 05:52:56 PM
the Champions League final will be staged this Saturday
after which everything is over and we go on summer break (so boring)
let's hope this game gives us the last good emotion even if I honestly believe it will be a one-sided game dominated by Manchester
I don't think so, but Inter should have something to make the final exciting. Manchester City may be better in terms of performance and ability to build attacks, but Inter also has the possibility to trouble Manchester City's defense during the game. No, I don't expect it to be a one-sided match like when Manchester City beat Real Madrid in the second leg of the semi-final.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 07, 2023, 04:45:36 PM
This season Real Madrid did not have any significant success. Although in La-Liga they have secured the second position in the points table and finished this season but this team failed to give their best in the semi-finals of the Champions League. They drew the first leg against Manchester City and lost the second leg 4–0.

After so many failures they let go of their main striker Karim Benzema this season. Real Madrid have always been ahead of other teams in finding the best players but at the moment when they need some quality players in their squad they don't see any alternative. Who can be Real Madrid's next striker? This list includes Mbappe, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland. One of the three could be a good replacement for Karim Benzema.
The 4-0 defeat at Manchester City headquarters which occurred in the semifinal second leg of the UCL made Real Madrid hopes vanish because previously they had failed to catch Barcelona at the top of the Laliga standings. Overall Real Madrid have failed this season, they failed to win the prestigious title due to too much faith in the squad that gave success last season.
I agree that this season has not lived up to expectations and it can be said that all of Ancelotti's plans to win prestigious titles have failed miserably. Real Madrid failed to win La Liga, they also failed to win the Champions League and the Spanish Super Cup, but the Copa Del Rey title is one of the best consolations for the fans.

I really can't believe Real Madrid had to suffer such a setback this season, even though they have had quite a good form since the start of the season. Of course I'm not going to completely blame Ancelotti, but the management is also to blame for this failure.

Benzema departure must be addressed immediately with quality players who are able to fill the vacant striker positions. Real Madrid must bring in a striker who is typically a hard worker and has a high instinct for scoring goals.
Of course, we will find out very soon about this good news. Real Madrid are working hard on that, so I hope they really find the best.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 07, 2023, 04:22:12 PM
Hopefully, Chelsea can win again through its new manager next season because Chelsea is a big team that often enlivens the top ranks in the Premier League, even though in the season that has ended, Chelsea has really slumped with no consistency at all in building the team. In the next season, Chelsea really needs better collaboration between players and coaches in order to increase their strength in undergoing a new competition and I also hope that Chelsea can get up soon when next season starts.
I think it will be difficult for Pochettino to take Chelsea to the top of the table next season even though he is one of the most experienced coaches in the Premier League. He will have to adapt his strategy at Chelsea for his maiden season and that will take a lot of time. Chelsea cannot be expected to be able to win the title as long as Manchester City are still completely able to dominate the Premier League with Pep Guardiola.

I only agree that Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United will have a tough competition next season in the top 4 of the standings apart from Manchester City. But Chelsea and Tottenham don't seem completely convinced even though they have a new manager next season.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 06, 2023, 08:30:09 PM
They have to move quickly to get new players. It seems that Asensio is also unwilling to extend his contract with Real Madrid. If Madrid is as passive as last season, they will fail again next season. They won't be able to compete with Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Sociedad, maybe even Villareal. The purchase of players is a mandatory option, the promotion of young players is not yet quite able to compete for next season's competition. Anceloti might have a headache even more if Kroos and Modric also leave, they are quite old and will probably only play one more year at Real Madrid.  I hope this regeneration of players does not make Real Madrid weak and like Barcelona last season.
Asensio has joined PSG and now Real Madrid are really hoping to find a good replacement for him. The most difficult thing right now is getting the best striker after Benzema decided to go to Arab, this will definitely not be easy because the market must be very busy with offers from other clubs as well.

I'm not sure if Real Madrid will offer Mbappe again, but I think he really deserves to wear the Real Madrid jersey one day. Haaland isn't the target he seems to be, but Kane and Osimhen look the perfect fit for their chance.
1128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: June 06, 2023, 08:23:15 PM
You will never loss if you don't sell at loss, everytime there is a topic like this here in the forum i will always said that patience is very important in crypto and we always have a bear and bull market there is no stable status we will see different price and different scenarios together with the good and bad updates, sometimes our loss is from the lack of patience so have patience mate and continue buying we are in bear so it is an opportunity.
You have seen evidence of it in the last 2 days where bitcoin fell 6% and then recovered within a day after. Not selling at a loss means they only hold, it's not called a loss as long as they still hold bitcoin. Financially they have lost the value of those bitcoins as their conversion to fiat has fallen, but if they are patient and don't panic then the price recovery will allow them to get a better conversion rate.

It didn't take long, today the bitcoin price has returned above $27k which may test resistance above it in a few moments. If this $27k can be held, then the $28k resistance will be broken soon.
1129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: June 06, 2023, 08:06:37 PM
In my opinion, a new bull run market will start after the next halving event takes place. If you follow a four-year cycle, the next halving will take place in 2024. As we know, the last halving occurred in May 2020. Only then, in 2021, did Bitcoin set an all-time high above the $68k price level.
It looks like we have been in a bull market since January as the percentage gain since then is close to 100% from the 2022 low. Even though some of us consider it to be a recovery process, I think it's worth calling it a bull as the percentage returns are quite large. For larger percentages I think 6 months before halving is a reasonable time frame to consider, but let's just enjoy it instead of getting too focused on it.
1130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Danger of posting your bitcoin address online on: June 04, 2023, 02:17:59 PM
In cryptocurrency we have the Public key and the private keys, that bitcoin address is the public key we are using the wallets can generate a lot of public keys that are used for your transactions, and the private keys are the keys used for verifying transactions, you cannot proceed a transaction if you didn't have the private key for the confirmation of sending the address.

The possible risk on your side right here is exposing the number of bitcoin or other coins you are holding to the public, even though we are using as a PUBLIC key it does not mean that you need to expose yourself too at the same time that you are the holder of that amount, this time sharing information in the internet can make a risk on your life because people know that you are holding a large amount of money..  People now can easily track the history of transaction of your bitcoin address through blockchain, but they cant identify whos address it is unless you expose you are the owner of it.
You'll be safe as long as you only post your public address regardless of whether it's one-time use address or one you use regularly in forum. The problem is when you post your storage address publicly anywhere which in turn can harm you if someone wants to hack and rob your money.

Some people who care about privacy would probably never make the mistake of posting and tell the public about the amount of bitcoin they have, it's just risky and invites a lot of threats either directly or indirectly. Being concerned about privacy is great, but I don't think there's really a threatening risk to posting our public address on forum.

1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin market is back on track on: June 04, 2023, 01:45:11 PM
We can't say that the current Bitcoin price is on the right track, sometimes the price drops significantly and yesterday is almost under $ 26K, although the market can sometimes rise again but in my opinion the opportunity to drop is still easy to occur, This is what makes us must always be vigilant and often monitor market conditions.
But why should we fear if our motive is to hold for long term. We already know Bitcoin’s capabilities. We know Bitcoins are limited in numbers, hence they are very valuable. Now we know that more Bitcoins cannot be produced if the demand to acquire it increases, hence to fulfil the demand the price will go up. So there are high possibilities that Bitcoins will break the record very soon. So don’t get distracted with these small price drops. Just have faith and wait.
If everyone was as optimistic as you are about bitcoin in the long term, then its price volatility would be very low. But the truth is, everyone has different plans about investing and trading bitcoin and why they buy bitcoin. Without volatility, bitcoin is stablecoin, but because bitcoin is decentralized asset, everyone can trade it freely without control.

It's just that everyone should consider this volatility as something natural for assets that are freely traded 24 hours every days. Fluctuations will allow anyone to gain as well as cause them to lose, but due to the high demand for bitcoin and their scarcity, the price will only get higher in the long term.
1133  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: June 04, 2023, 01:32:49 PM
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
Give a proper argument why bitcoin will fall to zero?
Currency failure, have you ever thought of something like that?
Even though I believe the probability of bitcoin's failure as a currency is much lower than I imagined, it should be considered as one of the possible risks that could happen to bitcoin for one reason or another. I don't want bitcoin to fail, but no one can guarantee that bitcoin will survive tens to hundreds of years from now.

To be honest, I never thinks bitcoin would be zero even though bitcoin didn't have any value when Satoshi introduced it. But even then, we just don't need to be so optimistic about bitcoin that you ignore lot of what it is at risk of. Bitcoin is currency that basically still expects more support from the governments of various countries especially in real use cases. If the government agrees to no longer allow bitcoin to be traded, used as legal tender, then the worst risk is losing value.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 03, 2023, 06:46:25 PM
I do agree 100% that Roma should have won and the ref basically gave the game to Sevilla without a doubt. It was a very very clear situation and Roma was robbed a title, there is absolutely nothing wrong with what Mourinho did, he was 100% right, I do not know if there is anything I am not aware of, but all the things he has done is a protest and I agree with them 100%.

How many times can you say that an Europa cup final was decided by a ref this clearly? Even in the most extreme examples we end up seeing just a few situations and positions, this one was basically just arranged, I bet that there could be some betting or bribery going on as well, it should be investigated very clearly. I doubt that this was a clean game, and Mourinho should come out and just bash Uefa as much as he possibly can.
I admit that there were some unfavorable refereeing decisions for Roma, especially about not being awarded a penalty when one of the Seville players seemed to touch the ball in the box. If the referee had seen and tried to check the VAR, the result might have been different, but that also doesn't guarantee that Roma can win the title.

Sevilla could have played with more concentration when they fell behind Roma, but that's just my opinion. It can be said that Rome did not completely lose because of the referee, but Roma's defeat in the Europa League final was due to their failure to create many goal chance plus not getting proper help from the referee.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2022/2023 on: June 03, 2023, 06:34:31 PM
I see this season as the best and most successful season for Man city because they might be able to win the treble as they have already won two trophies. It is not a surprise that Man city won the game due to the fact that city is the most favorite because of their consistent performance in their matches. Man united played had a brilliant performance today and they struggled so hard to make sure that they equalized the second goal but luck wasn't on their side. The season will be the luckiest season for Pep if he wins Inter next season. I placed a bet on this game and I won this is a perfect one.
I think Manchester City's form in the FA Cup final was a bit different to some of the other big match.
They dominated the game, but some Manchester City players lost the ball too easily and failed to pass perfectly. I only got that impression at a few moments, but overall their passing accuracy is still very good in percent.

Manchester United also had good effort to give their best, but Manchester United was very unlucky about some of the chances. Manchester City's defense was good, they were quite stable although there were some mistakes towards the end of match. So I also congratulate Manchester City and whoever their fans are on the forums, and they really deserve to win it.
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: June 02, 2023, 07:42:35 PM
Basically you might think that the bitcoin price has shown a recovery process from January 2023 to the end of May. On the monthly TF, the price of bitcoin has printed 4 temporary green candles followed by 1 red candle due to an unstoppable correction. In the long term, bitcoin price will be stronger, but it may be true that we have little hope of a big bullrun in 2023.
The market has not experienced a high correction compared to the 4 green candles that have increased since 2023, we must positively respond to the 1 red correction candle which has only corrected -$5k so far, the market still holds several other green candles that will potentially increase above 30k by the end of the year.
I don't see the correction as a problem for my long term investment plan so far. I have been able to hold and accumulate assets well with almost every dip in the last few months. Personally I consider 1 red candle on monthly TF normal after bitcoin prints 4 green candles in 4 consecutive months. That is, no increase continues without a break, so price correction should not be ignored for some of those who use short-term strategies.

The market provides an opportunity for wise investors to buy low prices although it is unlikely that the market will return to 15k, 20-25k area range may be very potential to start DCA investment with 50% investment asset allocation for BTC, we have missed the low price moment last november but not for the second time.
Well, $15k won't happen again for the rest of the year, and I firmly believe that considering the halving will play a part in driving more investor interest to buying. $25k is support which should be strong when bitcoin returns to $30k in the next few months but bitcoin is still having a hard time testing that resistance although $25k is strong support for bitcoin at the moment.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 02, 2023, 07:17:37 PM
of course both teams will try to win and Inter have history in the Champions League while Manchester City do not.
Inter's history in the CL would not matter in this game, City have been coming very close in recent years and i think their time has finally come to get the trophy, tbh i can't see the possibility of Inter beating City, i know it is a final and anything can happen, but i don't think City can lose another CL final after losing to Chelsea a few seasons ago. Having said that, the way City completely destroyed Real Madrid is a clear message that they are going to brush aside any team that comes between them and the CL trophy. It is going to be a historic treble, because they are going to defeat both Manchester United and Inter Milan.
Somehow I agree that Manchester City really deserved to win the Champions League title this season instead of Inter. I know Manchester City have beaten Real Madrid and put us to shame at the Etihad, but because of their quality and form they are so good I don't think Inter have many chances to win the title this season.

No team has done better than Manchester City this season in the Champions League although Inter have also made it to the final. I am impressed how Manchester City are going at such a good pace so far and a treble is a possibility for them.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 02, 2023, 04:41:53 PM
I do not like to gamble, of course if rich is the goal. Gambling should be something that is fun especially something that is entertaining regardless of whether it is slots or other sports betting
Just few percentage of people are gambling just for fun now, higher percentage are gambling because they want to be making money for survival from gambling, and other are gambling to get rich, that's why most people easily get addicted to gambling when they start gambling, their target is to get rich from gambling, and if you are having that kind of target, then you get addicted easily because you won't want to give up even when you are losing money, that's why it's just better we gamble just for fun.
It's hard to be a gambler whose sole goal is to have fun, even if you had such a plan from the start. I did, but after a while the addiction kicked in and took a toll on my budget. Oh, I realize it's just experience, but after that I started to work around this by reducing the intensity of gambling. In the end I succeeded, yes I succeeded in becoming a responsible gambler even though I could still lose bets.

So even if someone does not gamble for fun, but when they are able to take responsibility for their gambling then it is a great option for a gambler to have. Get rid of the gambling rich plan, it's not the most likely plan to come true.

I do not agree if you say all gamblers win because they are lucky, you have to think of something different when you gamble with your skills in physical casino. If you play at an online casino, especially on luck-based gambling, then your victory is determined by luck, but instead you definitely need expertise in skill-based gambling. So don't assume they are all the same, it must be wrong.

Even skill-based games are somehow dependent on luck as per people believe it.  One good example is in the game of poker, the initial card is affected by luck, how you play it is affected by skill, and how people react to a bluff is also affected by luck.  Not saying cards on flops and their relation to your card are affected by chance.

Another example is sports betting, luck is also the variable here, no matter how skilled a person is in determining the better player or team, it can be meddled by some variable.   So the chance of winning can also be affected by luck getting these variables to your side.
I understand that the luck factor has an influence on a gambler's win or loss. I'm not going to dispute that assumption, but when they say skill-based gambling is won 100% by luck, that's wrong and I don't agree with it.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 02, 2023, 03:02:07 PM
I do not like to gamble, of course if rich is the goal. Gambling should be something that is fun especially something that is entertaining regardless of whether it is slots or other sports betting. If one is planning to get rich on gambling then I think they should just go to a land based casino with a pile of cash and try their luck.

They'll lose those money quickly as they'll do on online casino, there's no difference. Gambling is all luck anywhere you want to play it. If it's from your phone or in the physical casinos, the results will not still change. Gambling can be for fun and for making money.

I only agree about the goal of gambling, it's having fun, but a lot of people don't have that kind of goal because they tend to think about money. The results that gambler can get at physical casinos and online casinos are definitely different, never the same and of course it is about certain games that require them to have expertise.

If you gamble and win then make some investment with the money won.
I think about it, but not about many other gamblers.
1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if BTC won't see ATH again? on: June 01, 2023, 07:42:35 PM
I think Bitcoin will reach ATH again when the next halving happens. I am very optimistic that later when the bitcoin halving occurs, the price of bitcoin will again set a new ATH record. Moreover, Bitcoin has reached an all-time high price several times. In 2017, Bitcoin reached an ATH of around $20k, then experienced a significant decline in the following period. In 2021, Bitcoin reached a new ATH of around $64k before undergoing a correction.
You can be optimistic for obvious reasons, but some concerns about bitcoin's failure to reach new ATHs also exist among investors. I am not ruling out the possibility although I am sure that bitcoin will reach a new ATH in the next few years. If the halving can result in a bitcoin market cap, then ATH can only be expected a few months after the halving.

Even if ATH is not reached, returns from bitcoin can still be expected as long as bitcoin are still being traded. By now many people may already know how the market works, but some FUD and bad news globally will affect them all the time. Be strong with bitcoin until you get the target you want.
