Not necessarily, if you give them a way to join you and make a lot of money. The problem is you cannot please everyone and take them with you. Just like what happens in real life some are poor and some have become rich. The ones left behind will cry and say that it is not fair because they became rich by ruthless cheating and scamming. But if those poor people were put in the same situation as the ones who became rich the funny thing is they will do the same thing. They too will ruthlessly cheat and scam to get rich. The loudest people here who always say FUD are the most envious of all because they did not think of the idea. Or maybe they did but they were scared to do it themselves or lack the confidence to do it. So they talk bad about a lot of things just like in real life. |

BTS and LSK for me. They are in accumulation right now and are both in the near bottom so there is not much risk. It might rise big soon especially now that bitcoin is going slightly down.

I disagree that the people who hold a huge stake in ETH is out to get ETC and are dumping them to kick the platform out of existence. ETH holders must have realized that by now it would be better for the original Ethereum classic to stick around so that they can profit from 2 chains. The minders have realized this. The others will of course also come to their senses. Why do you think the DAO holders want their ETC back from the white hat hackers?
Two chains is less safer than one chain. The low hash chain can be attacked. Nobody will work on that chain. Well that is not what we are seeing right now. Both chains will diverge in the future becoming two separate entities. I foresee ETC gaining more hash power and within a year it will be more than 50% to the hash power of ETH. The question is who will fork first to eliminate totally the "replay attacks" and finally stop it from happening. For me ETC should do it first. |

Now they have Swiss lawyers involved in figuring out how to "return" the ETC to the DAO holders. Right, this will now take years before they can see those funds in their wallets. |

Very nice! Now time to get settled and let the real work begin. Ethereum foundation has had many problems of late and it is time for Lisk to take advantage of this. Maybe try to talk to some of the developers to give Lisk a try for their smart contract projects and dapps. |

They should. It is the only way to try to maintain the status quo. Miners know that they will have to support the next best coin to mine. That is ETC. I have said this before, always observe the hash rate of ETC. If you see a large increase and it stays there the price will surely follow. Mark my words.

Minecache got it wrong about what or who has the criminal intentions. No one will now invest in ETH because the whole world has seen the way Vitalik and the Ethereum foundation has run the project. Very sloppy showing inexperience and lack of regard for the consequences of their actions. Add an Ethereum foundation's messy plan of dumping of ETC in the market to that and you got everyone turned off from them. Only the people holding ETH hoping to sell higher are the ones defending it.

That dude was involved as much as anybody, he was part of the group. And the reason he won't say shit is because the foundation are the rest of them. This not only needs to be punished by the community but also in the court system. Paycoin/garza ran a mining pyramid scam and they went after him. These crooks stole, they lied and everything in between. I think the smart people are putting their btc in etc. Eth isn't going to be around after all of this, seen it before these dicks are going down.

Sasha. Do not listen to the people who say all the BS about you and Waves. What they say will not affect the project because they hold only small amount of coins. They like to talk you in to hurrying the release of the full nodes because they are thinking there will be a pump so they could sell.

I disagree. It is only possible to reach parity if the hash rate of ETC will go up near ETH's hash rate. That will the only way for everyone to gain confidence in the platform.

Yes. I second the Lisk suggestion. They are trying to achieve the same goals as Ethereum with a different style of approach. Instead of inventing a new programming language they are using javascript. So there is no need to learn a new programming language if you are a developer.

You all make me laugh how you treat ETC as the criminal coin. Remember me who got caught in very shady operations on Poloniex ? Oh yes, the Ethereum Foundation (ETH)  ... Well, I'm not against ETC and neither ETH. I still believe in immutable smart contracts, but the only thing that ETC has is that it has given the chance to the DAO hacker to have ownership of the stolen coins (investor funds) and be able to dump them at anytime. This may cause a huge risk, thus making the price goes all the way down to less than $0.01 USD (in the original chain). Just my opinion, though. :- It will be bad for the price of ETC. But ETC as a platform will live on, be developed, grow and will eventually have a life of its own. We also know the DAO attacker will not dump everything at once. He will be risking everything he has which is stupid. It would be funny to see the atacker to declare and return all the ETC he is holding back to the DAO investors just to make the Ethereum foundation look bad since they tried to dump their ETC thru the white hat group.  |
