1141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving - Will we see a new price high? on: March 20, 2016, 04:54:05 PM
i can only hope that we see a new price high.

but also i think it is still possible this time around, because there is more money from investors in the market since last time.

I don't know what would be the price of bitcoin at the time of halving but I am pretty sure that we will see much higher price in compare to present price.
1142  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 19, 2016, 11:13:40 PM
Paper money would disappear in future if we can have bitcoin in a physical form that will make more users to attract towards it as people have more faith in those things which they can hold physically.

Most people really rely thing they see and hold and that what makes it worthy to them and since you cant hold bitcoin people will have a hard time accepting it and will rely on paper money.

Yes thats true and i dont think so money will disappear as it is not so easy to stop something which is widely used. generally money if we have in our hand we feel like we got something and we can use it for us. but also not to forget btc also has lot of good sights because of its security, low transaction charges and some store it is acceptable.

people have more faith in paper money as they can hold it physically and store it physically in their wallet and that factor is missing when it comes to bitcoins.

If the bitcoin get it's physical form the usage as well the bitcoin adoptions will increase gradually. Whatever happens paper money usage won't come to end.

Paper money will always exist for sure even if we have bitcoin in physical form then also we will find many users that will continue to use paper money especially in poor countries.

Yes and the only reason behind it is they are not aware about the new technology and they hesitate in trying something new, fiat makes their work easy.
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 19, 2016, 11:11:27 PM
The only reason to hold btc is that its value keeps on increasing over a period of time, but the value of cash remains the same, and cash can be worthless if inflation rate is higher.
1144  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: March 19, 2016, 11:08:47 PM
If I would be holding 7 btc then I would hold some of it and with rest I would have gambled and would surely try to multiply my bitcoins in the fastest way.
1145  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 19, 2016, 11:06:53 PM
I will sell my coins if it reaches to $800 that is the goal I have set in my mind, and if it reaches there then I won't hesitate in selling my bitcoins as I can buy it again in future when price drops.
1146  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: March 19, 2016, 11:04:43 PM
It's safe and scary at the same time, becareful with your wallet and don't trust scammers, once the money is out from your account, in no way it comes back
if you do not easily believe someone and do not follow the investment scam or something. you will always be safe there will be no one who would deceive you.
who became fear is the price of bitcoin fluctuations make bitcoin unsafe.

Its safe and you dont need to be scared as it will be your own fault if the money has been stolen from you, much like in other currencies if you messed up then your money will be gone.

Correct, you need to take proper care of it related to safety and security and if you do it successfully then you don't have to worry about anything as bitcoin wallets are the safest too.
1147  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 19, 2016, 11:02:33 PM
All facts saying that bitcoin will keep progressing and growing. Sure it's unpredicteble but anyway looking back in past we will see that bitcoin's price keep rising and i doubt that's smth will change.

Yeah, bitcoin's price is just going to rise and fall, there's nothing wrong with that, only those who don't trust bitcoin would believe that a price dip is a very big  drop..most of the speculation of bitcoin's price is almost pointing to increase in the coming years..

i am not sure what would be the price of bitcoin in future but I have a feeling that price would be higher in next couple of months at the time of halving.

Ofcourse no one is sure if what exactly will happen in coming time but everyone feel and hope for the price of bitcoin to grow and predictions says so that after halving when the price goes high then if it got adopted  by many resources so it may keep increasing and growing in future and we bitcoin users hope for the best for us.

That's true bitcoin will help us and benefit us in best possible way in future the only thing is that we need to wait until it gets on mainstream and become more powerful.

I don't see ti getting on mainstream ever, not atleast for next decade as it will take long time for development especially in developing countries.
1148  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: March 19, 2016, 11:00:55 PM
If you invest in bitcoin just take it slow and learn how to trade well, you might lose some but as time goes by you will profit.

i think most of the people that started with trading made losses in the very beginning. it's normal. you just need to make sure you learn from your mistakes, and eventually you'll end up making profits. patience is the key when it comes to trading. if you rush and do things in panic then it's not going to work out very well. just relax.

Yeah and I think if you want to start trading then its better that you take some guidance or tips from a experienced person who is into trading since a long time.

Nice idea, that would be a great help for a newbie who wants to trade with bitcoins, as its always good to have some experienced person beside you who can guide you in best way.
1149  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 19, 2016, 10:59:09 PM
No I do not see this happen at all in my opinion this is highly unlikely because the dollar is to big and the bitcoin is depending on it.
Its all a matter of time before the bitcoin maybe can take it over and replace it but the chance is less more than 40% for sure.

Yes that is simply not possible that bitcoin will replace dollar in near future, as it will require a strong and valid reason to replace it and as of now we don't see anything like that.

Yeah dollar is very powerful and not that easy for any crypto to replace it as market cap of dollar is huge and bitcoin is too small in compare to dollar.

Bitcoin will also be powerful in future and we should give some more time to it and we should support it and we will see much better bitcoin in future.
The value if bitcoin is always calculated with respect to dollar. If I try to explain the benefits and convenience of bitcoin to my friends, they dont show much interest but as soon as I tell them 1 bitcoin is sold for nearly $400,they become very interested and start asking question about bitcoin. .so the bitcoin replacing the dollar is unimaginable at this moment

That's true and majority of people around us are lazy they don't want to try something new, the only thing they say we have fiat to spend we don't need anything else.
1150  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: March 19, 2016, 10:57:29 PM
I read in newspaper about it for the first time and then discussed with my friend, we were scared to invest at initial stage but finally we entered into it.
1151  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 19, 2016, 10:55:32 PM
The people keep on saying that btc is dead only because they don't have knowledge of it or they want to manipulate the price of bitcoin by saying that its is dead and it will not survive.

And I think they start believing in what the people around them speaks about bitcoin, they will just start following them and will not make any efforts to know what reality is.
1152  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: March 19, 2016, 10:53:11 PM
I have stopped investing in most of my positions but i would sell everything unless i thought i had less than 10 years, only then is it worth selling

Not the right time to sell I guess, we should wait little longer to earn some good returns on our investments, if we sell at a moment, then that would be unprofitable decision to make.
1153  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: March 19, 2016, 10:51:17 PM
Should I believe in Bitcoin ?
I have 10k $ and maybe going to buy  , but I doubt the further development of Bitcoin and I'm afraid to lose money! Can you convince me or dissuaded from buying?

Are you willing to invest all your eggs in a single basket? I think it is a risky decision, friend, and any prudent investor would prefer to diversify his portfolio in order to reduce risks.

You also need to take into account that this type of intangible assets based on changing technologies always involves great risks, because we all know that technologies are rapidly changing all the time, and even the greatest ideas can become obsolete quickly.

Putting all your eggs in 1 basket is the most stupid thing you can do. Remember there is still a change the bitcoin project fails.
So yes if you believe in bitcoin it may be wise to invest money in it but invest with care.

Yeah, anything is possible with bitcoin as you never know what is the future of bitcoin, its better if we invest our money into multiple products.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 19, 2016, 10:49:40 PM
I would invest 50/50 in both the products, as I have faith in both of them and If I have option of choosing both then why would I go with a single one.I want to make profits from both.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 19, 2016, 10:47:48 PM
Looking at the present growth of bitocin I would surely invest my into it as if the bitcoin reaches to the moon in future I can enjoy best return on my investments.

its always better to save some money in bitcoin nowadays, as it is very innovative product and if the value is higher in future we can earn best profits.
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you call someone with 1000BTC? on: March 18, 2016, 11:46:48 AM
I would call him the king of the bitcoin, as he can rule the world if he holds that amount of bitcoin and can live the life like the king does.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: March 18, 2016, 11:44:39 AM
Bitcoin and Dollar are both very good. But Dollar will reduce in the future and that is the problem. Because many people need it, because they dont even know what Bitcoin is.
And you can see also that Bitcoin will be more used now and that is very good for the future. We also hope that the value will rise.

Dollar will reduce in future and many people will need it?Huh What is the meaning of this sentence mate? I don't see any logical explanation in it.

Dollar will always be used more in compare to bitcoins, as people who are comfortable with dollar will not leave using it, they will start using bitcoin too, but dollar will also show its presence.
1158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 11:41:38 AM
It will be good if that is possible. But it will be really hard and that is also it will take a long time to get it and that is a problem for people.
They cant wait and they are very greedy so that is really bad. But I hope that more people can get some profit of it.
most people do not have the patience to investments that require a long ROI. so they take a shortcut by double bitcoin them through ponzi. it was a big mistake

at the end what's the result?
Simply nor in a long nor in a short, you can get a good ROI!
Because short time: you get peanuts.
Long time: you got scammed from an hyip.

I can't understand how people could try to earn with this stupid sites.

Majority of those sites are scam and will not help you in doubling your coins, there is no way to double your coins, the only way to get there is to earn it.
1159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 18, 2016, 11:34:33 AM
I was under this wrong impression that bitcoin transaction is free and instant both of which turned out to be false.I also had this wrong assumption that I can mine bitcoin on my home pc Cheesy

Nothing is free in real world, but the best thing is that bitcoin transaction fees is very cheap and quiet affordable and the credits are faster in compare to banks.
1160  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 11:32:20 AM
Being a freelancer on the open market with such a fierce competition nowadays does not guarantee you a stable monthly income. Some months you will have a lot of work and some other you may very well be scraping just enough cash to pay your bills and food expenses.

Yes i think it would be very risky as your living will be dependent on the value of bitcoin, if price is higher you will not have financial crunches but if it falls, then you know it very well what will happen.
