I added Alterdice to the wallet exchanges just a few hours ago. Now its just a matter of moving trades over to other exchanges as well. So now we have 3 (AlcurEX, Alterdice and Cryptsy). If you do not trust Cryptsy move over to one of the other exchanges. I also know of at least 1 more dedicated CSC exchange that tries to get online within the next few weeks.

Bittrex and Poloniex are difficult cases. Bittrex statement says "Note that we cannot list currencies where its primary purpose is to support gambling", as if Bitcoin is not used for gambling. YoBit was paid to list CSC but they did not add it. Anyway either the exchanges do not want CSC because of their own stupid rules or they ask money to be listed, ... in both cases we will not pursue to be listed anymore. There are now 3 exchanges and more to come so i think that is no longer an issue anymore. Also, ... any exchange that will add CSC and has a decent API will be added to the wallet free of charge.

It looks like your wallet is not having/creating any data. Could be a permissions issue. Did/does the old wallet work on the same system?  Can you do the following:
- close the wallet
- delete your debug.log file from your data directory, usually in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\CasinoCoin
- start the wallet
- check the debug.log file if the wallet starts and is syncing

If the wallet can not sync due to firewall or filesystem permissions you will see that behaviour. You can try and start the wallet from the command line with the property '-datadir=c:\temp\csc-data' where you replace the value to a location you have sufficient rights.

In the current version they are not but in the near future both features will be added.

Also forgot to mention, this new version 2.0.0.0 is completely compatible with the previous 1.3.0.0 version blockchain, wallet and protocol, so servers that run the casinocoind daemon have no urgent need to upgrade unless they want to use the new getcoinsupply rpc command.

Thank you all for the positive feedback! A lot of hard work has been put into this for the last two months. I think that with this release we have let go of all the standard forked wallets and are now standing on our own feet. This is only the first necessary step in making CSC the best altcoin out there. I hope that all the doubters out there are now seeing that we are very serious in taking casinocoin to the next level. There is still a lot on the todo list but we will get there step by step.

Please support AlterDice and AlcurEX by visiting and using their services. Everybody is aware of the issues with Cryptsy, i have tried out AlcurEX several times and have found no issues at all. It would be nice if in the coming weeks the orderbook at AlcurEX get filled a bit more. If there are any other services out there that support CSC and would like to be added to the wallet just supply me with a 200x200 pixel image, link, and description and you will be added, ... as this all is populated from our new public API you will see the new information automatically in the wallet.

Thank you for all the positive feedback on the new wallet. There was actually only 1 issue with a user that had issues calling the Prypto services. He got that solved by installing OpenSSL libraries on his windows machine. In the end no other user reported the same issue so to me its not clear at the moment if it was caused by his windows setup or a temporary hick-up with the Prypto services.

As no other issues where reported i will start merging the sources into the main branch and begin the packaging of the final release.

Tomorrow i will release the new wallet to those that sent me a PM to test it, there are still 3 spots left so if you want to be the first to test the new wallet let me know. I will also give two Prypto codes of 1 CSC each to all testers to try out the new Prypto redeem page in the wallet! If no mayor issue arise from the testers i will release the wallet to the general public as soon as possible after that but no later than Friday 4th of december.

After tomorrow my first priority will be the OSX wallet release, so hang in there!

I am loving the new wallet more and more after every new build i make   .... its not only the new UI that is so much better but also all the new and unique features we are building into it. Last thing on my list is the implementation of information on Exchanges that support Casinocoin. The API is already ready, we only need to build the list view renderer.

I think it would be nice to have about 5 testers before we do a public release, .... i will create a windows installer for this release, Linux and OSX will follow later. Sent me a PM if your interested in testing ....

I am also building a new mobile wallet for Android, iOS and Windows Phone with a complete new interface and different server architecture. I am working on seperating the blockchain and wallet and giving the user the option to store the wallet on the mobile phone or online. But this is work in progress and will be ready for release early next year.

Yes we are doing our best to release it by the end of november. However there is far more coding involved than we anticipated. As there is no change on the blockchain and its version you could checkout the GUI-2.0 branch and build a wallet version by your self, .... offcourse on your own risk as we have not tested all functions  yet, last commit should already work and has about 90% of the work done. There are some bugs on exiting the wallet so i would not run it with your current wallet and its coins yet but with a copy of your datadir.

I have been talking to Crypto Games to include CSC but in the end they will only add it if we bankroll between 1-2 BTC. It is not that the amount itself is an issue but we decided not to do that currently as we would create a precedent for other casinos wanting to add the coin. If casinos or other sites accept CSC they will be added free of charge to the new Wallet with links and/or promotions they may have, but only when they accept the coin. Soon Prypto will be integrated as well and that will also help sites accept CSC more easily. If anybody needs some help directly integrating CSC you can always contact me or GoldSeal, please be specific on what kind of integration/help you need.

I know what you mean, large pools like http://ispace.co.uk/coindetails/?coin=csc attract most miners. Also by mining at small intervals they often leave coins stuck at high difficulties. Until CSC really takes of and arrives in the top10 things will be like that.

However it is important to have and maintain at least 1 or 2 mining pools available alongside the P2P mining. I still have www.megamineros.com running but it is very little used as well. Also i actually have no time to run a pool anymore as i am currently spending a lot of time on programming. So i am thinking of shutting it down. Could you be convinced to keep the pool alive if i and maybe others as well help you out financially running the pool? Or an other option may be if somebody could throw in a VPS, ... isn't that right GoldSeal

A stable and good maintained mining pool (preferably dedicated to CSC) is very necessary in the near future!

Some answers:
1) CscPR is from Casinocoin, he explained on this very thread who he is and why he changed his account. GamingCoins is new indeed and is not an account from GoldSeal or me, he also explained who he is and what his intentions are. No hype there, just facts.

2) I know for sure that neither I nor GoldSeal has been sponsoring CSC on cryptsy, who ever does/did that had his own reasons to do so, could be a hype but not from the dev team.

3) GoldSeal and myself have been actively working on this coin in the past but it has been somewhat dormant for the last year or so. If somebody shows up and is willing to heavily invest in the coin to move it forward i do not find it a strange question to ask what the plans are of that person. Actually GoldSeal could have chosen to ask that question in private and hide everything but he choose to do it in public. It did trigger us to move forward with developing the coin.

4) Both GoldSeal and myself already own large amounts of CSC which were either mined or bought when the price was low. Neither he nor I have been pumping the price. You can track and trace for yourself that somebody has been buying coins and if somebody is willing to spent more than 100 BTC on a coin, he probably has a good reason to do so, if not he just lost $20,000 in doing so who is taking a risk here as the coin rose from 600 to 3000 satoshi?

Responding to Spakler, Yes there is a lot going on at the DEV side of things and not everything is yet visible for the public. What is on the todo list?

- Moving the entire source code to Qt5 (95% done)
- Upgrading some important libraries like OpenSSL (100% done)
- Adding bootstrap download on initial startup (60% done)
- Building a public API for the wallet to get information about News, Casinos and Exchanges (90% done)
- Building a private API for accessing online wallets by Websites and Mobile phones and devices (10% done)
- Building a secure Wallet Server platform to serve the private API (25% done)
- Upgrading block explorer to a newer modern version (100 % done)
- Building a publicly available Java based Dice Server platform (80% done)
- Upgrading the GUI look and feel to a more modern theme (0% done)

There are probably some things i missed here but as you can see there is quite a lot to do by very few devs that can not work on this fultime. The last item on the list will be done by an external specialist developer/designer that will be paid for by GoldSeal so please stop bashing him instead of sending him some BTC for the developer. The developer will start in the next month or so and we hope to release the new GUI within a month of that. All the other changes do not relate to the wallet or do not require a fork so they can be released as they come available So please hang in there and be patient.

As GoldSeal explains quite good we do not care what you think. There is a lot of development going on behind the scenes but it may be beyond your understanding that it takes a bit more time than just a few days to get some software development done. Anyway for somebody that thinks that BTC will be $10,000 in 3 months time (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=924024.msg12607263#msg12607263) i think you will be better of investing your money in BTC. For the rest of us that do understand where this coin is going i agree with GoldSeal, get some while they are still cheap if you have not done so already ...

I like Sandstone and Spacelab but then with Casinocoin Red in the header and footer also the one at http://explorer.getjumbucks.com/ looks nice, not sure which bootswatch theme that would be.

The userinterface is very nice and much better than the abe block explorer, however i would prefer a bit lighter theme with white and red instead of all grey/black ?
