I am also building a new mobile wallet for Android, iOS and Windows Phone with a complete new interface and different server architecture. I am working on seperating the blockchain and wallet and giving the user the option to store the wallet on the mobile phone or online. But this is work in progress and will be ready for release early next year.

Any hint on when we would be seeing the new CasinoCoin wallet release? Sorry for asking, I'm just excited to start using the new one as it has been a long time since the last version was released. By the way, where could I find a CasinoCoin paper wallet generator? Thanks in advance.

Yes we are doing our best to release it by the end of november. However there is far more coding involved than we anticipated. As there is no change on the blockchain and its version you could checkout the GUI-2.0 branch and build a wallet version by your self, .... offcourse on your own risk as we have not tested all functions  yet, last commit should already work and has about 90% of the work done. There are some bugs on exiting the wallet so i would not run it with your current wallet and its coins yet but with a copy of your datadir.

Now that is good to hear. It seems that I would be getting my hands on the new wallet after all before Christmas. This is so cool. And also, the addition of new casinos/gambling sites that would accept CSC as payment would be a great move towards increase in price and demand.

Xmas? lol. No way. Everybody is pretty motivated to drop the release in November. I can't really comment on when prypto plans to officially announce the launch of their program. That's something they will announce when they feel it's the right time.

AlcurEX looks ok. I sent some coins there, sold a little, bought a little and later did withdraw the coins. Everything worked great, no problems at all. So I strongly recommend using AlcurEX exchange instead of cryptsy.

Upon registration, email confirmation is needed, every time You login, a pin code is sent to email, that have to be entered and withdrawal also needs email confirmation.

Well, at the end I was able to get out of Cryptsy 71K casino, I lost like 2K in f*cking fees. I don't know why, but I had to do 4 withdrawals, because each time if I ask for 50K csc Cryptsy just sent me half of it..
We really need to find another place to trade..

write a support ticket and ask for the fees back in you tried initially with a free withdrawal. They will return them if this is the case. The reason that they cut it in half is because cryptsy doesn't merge their inputs. So, they end up putting a bunch of dust together to send it to you and they hit the max inputs for the transaction.

They don't want to pay the fees required to merge their inputs in the background. so instead they leave you with this horrible broken withdrawal system.

Everyone, please start moving over to Alcurex if you want to buy/sell. If the book builds up, then this can become sustainable for Casinocoin and we won't need to deal with cryptsy.

I had the same problem about month ago. Eventually I got the CSC but it took like 6 withdrawals. And yes, let's start using alcurEX exchange.

I can see sell orders. BTW, everyone please consider moving over to alcurex. They have no KYC and we need to build up the book there.

BTW, it looks like the client changes are 99% done. We need to fix a couple missing arrow icons and couple other really minor asthetic items. You guys will get to start playing with it in a day or so.

Last thing on my list is the implementation of information on Exchanges that support Casinocoin. The API is already ready, we only need to build the list view renderer.

I think it would be nice to have about 5 testers before we do a public release, .... i will create a windows installer for this release, Linux and OSX will follow later. Sent me a PM if your interested in testing ....

Those are really exciting news. I cannot wait for the new release of the CasinoCoin wallet. New features and UI update will definitely attract more people to get into CSC. I wish the best of all for the CasinoCoin community and Happy Thanksgiving!
